The world as it was known came to a cataclysmic end at the end of the third World War. But from the ashes rose a new species: vampires. Altered by radiation, they became the dominant species on the planet, while normal humans became nomadic hunter-gatherers. Vampires formed holds and cities, but to increase their numbers, they sired (turned) humans. These vampires were treated as inferiors, subjected to three different types of tasks to break their spirits. But sometimes if something is pushed too far, it pushes back... sometimes violently.

Vampires
- Not traditional (can walk in sunlight, stakes to the heart and garlic do not affect them)
- Not immortal (although the average lifespan is increased tenfold)
- Strength, speed, endurance, healing abilities, and senses are enhanced
- Can be killed by decapitation, burning, or severe blood loss
- Require blood to function (can be from any source)
- Can access Genetic/Sanguine Memories by drinking blood, and are memories from up to five months prior; willingly sharing Genetic Memories is a way of showing trust among vampires

Rules
1- Be respectful. This means no arguing, spamming, or flaming.
2- Yes, this deals with mature subject matter: violence, sex, language, and possibly gore. Keep it at a PG13 level. If you're going to have ~le sexy time~ take it to PMs.
3- No godmodding. This includes controlling other players' characters without permission, autokilling, autohitting, and being immortal.
4- There will be a 3-strike system: Strike one- Warning to the player via PM; Strike two- One week ban from the RP, and one character is injured; Strike three- Permaban from the RP, all characters killed.
5- All RPG rules apply.
6- Have some good, bloody fun!

Trials
There are only three types of "tasks and trials" your character would have undergone:
[hider]1. Assassination/hunting (your character was forced to kill leaders of opposing vampire clans, had to hunt large and dangerous animals, etc. Also entails hunting humans to turn.)
2. Play Toy (Female only; your character served as a "play toy" for the lustful male vampires. Fact: If your character was sired a virgin, they will stay a virgin because of the healing abilities previously mentioned, though oddly, they become unable to bear children.)
3. Feeder (Your character was seen as too weak to do anything of major importance or they broke under the stress of the other two options and was subjected to becoming a source of food for the other vampires in the clan.)[/hider]

Name: John Halsey
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: John has black hair and piercing silver eyes. He's built for speed, strength, and agility. He tends to wear black boots and pants,a white shirt, and a black trench coat. Additionally, he wears armor plates on his shins, chest, upper and lower arms; the armor on his upper arms resembles Hayabusa armor from Halo 3.
Personality/bio: Usually quiet, preferring to keep to himself, John also believes that actions speak much louder than words. He has a strong sense of justice, which has gotten him into trouble more than once. Unlike most, he was found with no memory and turned. John was trained to fight, to hunt and kill. However, his moral sense told him to leave... and prepare to fight back.

Other: Uses a custom pistol and shotgun; ammunition for the shotgun includes breaching, slugs, and incendiary, while pistol has "shredder" rounds. Also wields a short sword, similar to Sting from LotR.

Appearance: Micah is an albino, with pure white hair and red eyes. Because of this, he often wears a cloak to cover himself (even with advanced regeneration rates, he can still suffer severe sunburns). He's not overly muscular or tall, and could pass for a normal man, build-wise.
Personality: Cold and calculating, easily the best tracker in the western hemisphere. He enjoys causing pain, and delights in stalking his prey before killing it.
Biography: Born a vampire, Micah always looked down on those Sired, like other vampires, but he didn't just dislike them-- he came to enjoy hurting and killing them. Eventually, he became the top tracker, and an able warrior, and has the highest number of recaptures and kills in his keep.

Other: Micah wields a pair of handguns, and is an expert shot with them. Excellent when it comes to hand-to-hand combat.

Appearance: Josie stands at 5'8", she has steel blue eyes and an olive complexion, she has pitch black hair and wears leather jackets and tanktops, she usally wears a necklace with a large ruby on it.
Personality: I will RP it out
Biography: (Include how they were turned, if they were):  When Josie was fourteen she was kidnapped by three men. She became a slave to them. She cooked, cleaned and everything else they asked of her. She ran away when she was 17. She was sleeping in an alley way when a vampire bit her.

Name: Sai'tioula Hilioula, but will introduce herself as Ilytise at times.
Age: Thirty-five, but looks twenty-three years of age.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Sai'tioula has elbow length raven black straight hair which she dyes, since it is actually a natural silver in color. Her eyes are a vibrant baby blue color, and a scar that runs across her left eye and stops at her collarbone from a vampire that attacked her before she was captured. Sai'tioula likes to wear a simple beige tank top, with black cargo pants, steel toe boots, and has her right ear completly pierced and one earring in her left ear. Tattoos of dragons, various demons through out the two complete sleeves on her arms.
Personality: Sai'tioula tends to be rude to about almost anyone, which, just about nine times out of ten, gets her into trouble with almost anybody. She will also voice her thoughts on things she does not like at all. Those closest to her, she is more relaxed and will joke with them about anything. After the trial she reclutantly chosen to do, she became more brooding and her temper a bit more shorter than before.
Biography: Sai'tioula was once belonged to a small group of humans that would travel through out the country side to stay away from the vampire filled cities. One day when she was hunting with a few people, they were ambushed by hunters looking for humans that they can use to replenish their number. They managed to fight them even for a few moments before they were overwhelmed by the vampires that attacked. After being hit on the back of the head, Sai'tioula woke up to find herself in a cell with people that was captured along with her, waiting for a vampire to either give them a choice between being turned, and take one of their trials or die if they resist. After long hours of thinking about what they would force them to do, a lone vampire walked in and took only her. In her limited wisdom that she apparently lacked, she had to make snide remark, and caused him to turn her without giving any reason as of why.

Personality: A quirky girl, Thia often finds her mouth shut. She's always really nervous,and seems to believe she can see things that others can not. Some call her cuckoo, others say it's from the lack of blood that gets to her head. She's an undiagnosed schizophrenic, a mild case. But her blood is valuble, so no one has decided to off with her, just yet. She is often day dreaming and lost in her own mind, and yet once in awhile she'll saying something with the timiest bit of courage.
Biography: Her family fought in the third world war, all of them. Her grandmother, grandfather, great aunts and uncles. How half of them even survived was unknown to her. How they managed to raise children, was even more of a shock. Her father, despite her grandparent's wishes, became a hunter for a local team of vampires. He was bringing a baby into this world, Thia herself, and wanted to get the protection he could. All was as well as it could be, Thia raised mostly by her mother as her father was away. But on occasion he would come and teach her important things about the people she shared a world with.
Up until about 14, these monthly visits were normal. It was expected. And by now, she was old enough to start questioning how she would lead her life.
The decision came to an ubrupt end, when her father's body was hung at her front door, drained completely. It seemed the clan he had been killing all these years had finally caught up. Her mother recieved the same empty death, while Thia was taken as a prize, a virgin. She's been captured by this group for four years now.
