Recommendations? Why not rate a bunch of stuff so Netflix can make its own recommendations?

I've watched a good half dozen movies based on their generated recommendations, so I feel it's decent if you give it enough ratings.

I don't have faith in Netflix's recommendation algorithm. I've watched some of their recommendations and most of the time they just plain suck.
