Maybe not to you, but Rilla sold me 4 Enderpearls for 12 diamonds. I figured it's a good deal considering that's potentially a new pickaxe that you can enchant every time you get an enderpearl, or the fuel needed to repair an already enchanted pickaxe. Diamonds have been hard for me to come by since they don't spawn as much as gold per chunk. And without a fortune pick, the usually have a max rate of two per block at what I've noticed to be a 30% chance of two diamonds dropping.So I figure 3 diamonds per pearl is worth it for both parties. I only use them for short range teleportation when I mine anyways.

That's what Brand did for about half the trip after losing his lead, and I did for one of my horses over the last couple long stretches of water after losing one of my leads.Brand's horse, which is now part of Awson's breeding stock, might be the sturdiest horse ever: not only did it go through oceans without a lead, it took a creeper blast straight to the face and then a short while after that a long drop that would have killed a lesser creature.It was an epic journey that took three full days in Minecraft time, all for the sake of Awson and I getting horses since there are none on the continent southwest of spawn. We happened to pass by an island that had horses about 1/3 of the way into the trip though.
