As the title implies, I’m looking for somebody to play a pony (or something else, I guess, just not an alicorn) to interact with a changeling in an RP that’ll follow the two characters’ relationship over the course of a few years.

It’s naturally in the MLP: FiM universe. I’m hoping to have the RP set in a midsize town and partway through the show’s first season, so as to leave a couple canon plot points that would actually relate to the characters.

I’m not going to hold you to particularly high standards, but I would appreciate the ability to keep a good separation between player and character—a character knowing things they shouldn’t possibly have learned will really ruin the game.
I don’t have any preference over having the RP in a thread or through the PM system, so contact me either here or there and we can get to nailing down more details.

Only if you want it to be a friends-only thing. My character would definitely be looking for a, "special somepony," in the interest of self preservation, but there would be more pros than cons to keeping an actual circle of friends around.

Mostly slice of life style stuff, stemming from personal problems, strange happenings, community events, and so on. Lots of little adventures in and around Hoofington. Maybe a friend's invention isn't quite working out and they enlist some help solving the problem. I know my character's going to be doing a lot of mechanic-like work around town.

I can run a coffee shop, making coffees and stuff with my horn powers. I like the ideas, after all, Hoofington isn't peaceful...

Well we'd have to agree on where the setting is. I'm better at playing girls, but I've done both genders well and I haven't yet gotten complaints when I do play a male part, so either will be fine for me, or if you want we can double up. I'm going to look around and possibly make my pony[ies] or whatever. :3

I've never been much a fan of doubling up, so you can pick either side of it and I wouldn't mind. I was thinking Hoofington again, but maybe somewhere else would be good. Fillydelphia news crew?

Hmm, as I was going to make my pony a writer that actually makes sense :3 I choose being a girl.
