LoL these guys were by nemesis during my Brotherhood playthru of Oblivion. X-ray vision should be listed as one of their abilities.

Name: Eugain Amelford

Age: 42

Gender: Male

Race: Breton

Appearance: A short (and somewhat plump) man, Eugain is neither intimidating nor particularly elegant. Most commonly he is seen wearing the traditional green and blue robes worn by the Priests of Arkay in Cyrodiil, often extending so far as to sweep gently across the floor and completely conceal the worn leather sandals that adorn his feet. His dark brown hair was cut into a tonsure, a decision which he claims is to make his priesthood apparent, though it is more likely because he has already begun to go bald...

His cheeks are bulbous, his eyes are small, and his nose is somewhat piggish. His stature and his method of carrying himself can be likened to a Horker, in that he simply waddles about without a single care. All in all, he is a happy, pleasant looking religious man.

Job: Priest of Arkay

Skills: Eugain takes pride in his knowledge of Restoration magic, and regards it as his foremost skill. However, due to the child-like streak in his personality, years of tinkering have given him an affinity for weaving fanciful Illusions, a touch for Alchemy, and a general sense for Destruction. His father taught him the basics of combat with a mace, and as tribute after his father's death Eugain continued to practice with it, so he is adequately versed in one-handed weaponry though not so effective with a sword or an axe as compared to a mace.

Though Eugain is also a literate man with a talent for Speech, he is equaly talented in Occasionally Messing Up- a skill, Eugain has found as he reviewed his life, which has been a source of many blunders and awkward situations. Put simply, he sometimes thinks before he speaks.

Personality: At first glance, he seems almost devoid of the trademark poetics and eccentric flair normally observed by his fellow Bretons- though this is hardly true. After short conversation most find that Eugain is capable of finding interest in even the most mundane of things. He believes himself a good listener, and often seeks to offer guidance and advice- even when it is not wanted. Despite this, in most situations, Eugain's intentions are meant well.

In a nutshell he is curious, sometimes impulsive, quick to hunger and slow to fill. He is friendly, difficult to anger, and believes that something is waiting for him in the near future.

History: Eugain's story began in High Rock, where he was born out of wedlock to a priestess of Dibella and a city guardsman. Though his father thought it true love, his mother believed she was only carrying out the will of Dibella. Eugain was left with his father, who struggled to raise him on his own within the towering walls surrounding the city.

Eugain's father was devout and religious, thus at a young age Eugain took an interest in the Divines and the Breton deity Sheor, commonly believed to be a demonized version of the Nordic deity Shor. He would spend his pre-teen and teenage years frequenting the temples and libraries dotted across the city, delving deeply into the meaning of conflict and the question of why men must fight.

It wasn't until his father's death at the hands of a rabble of bandits not far outside the walls when Eugain was twenty-five that he began to direct his attention towards Arkay and his teachings. The words that he read in the leatherbound books left to him by his father served to comfort him. Aetherius and Oblivion, the eternal struggle for balance, the Aedra and the Daedra; these things greatly interested him, propelling him forward in life into priesthood and scholarship for the next two decades.

As the years wore on and as heroes continued to rise in Tamriel such as the Dragonborn and the armies battling for Skyrim, Eugain felt that his life lacked true experience. With only this feeling in his gut, a handful of Septims and his robes, Eugain made his way aboard a passenger ship and sailed, making way for Cyrodiil. He would travel north to Skyrim from the coast to study with the priests and experience some of the beautiful sights Tamriel had to offer. Little did he know that in only a year, upon his arrival in Bruma just prior to his crossing the border, darkness would descend upon Cyrodiil...

Starting Point: Bruma

@Superfly

Much thanks! I might eventually sneak a second character into the works, but for now I'll focus on him. It's been a long time (a few years) since I've roleplayed, so I hope I'm not too rusty!

@Azathoth, accepted as always.

@ActRaisertheReturned, if I'm reading this correctly, Atlan is the count of Bruma? I've no problem with this and I really like the potential, just want to be sure for my opening post. He's accepted, anyhoo.

EDIT: And... you edited. :/ I hope you reconsider.

Name: Kodlak Storm-Fangs

Age: 56

Gender: Male

Race: Nordic Werewolf

Appearance: Built like a Dwarven Centurion, Kodlak is not someone who bends easily to the forces of the world. Wearing a suit of Ancient Nord Armor found east of Morthal inside of an undead crypt, Kodlak’s appearance can be rated from a scale from ‘Intimidating’ to ‘Terrifying’. Signs of aging are apparent however, despite his Werewolf blood suppressing most of them. His eyes are hallow, cheeks weathered nearly to the bone from the tides of Time, and his torso is scarred from countless battles.

He can’t be found without his standard Solitude shield and Skyforge sword.

Job: Stormcloak Remnant

Skills: Block (Master), One Handed (Expert), Restoration (Apprentice), Speech (Apprentice)

Personality: Kodlak’s personality can be quantifiable to his appearance. An artifact of Time past, Kodlak lives in the shadow of a fallen Kingdom and the mourning of a fallen revolutionary. While the end of the Stormcloak rebellion came as a relief to many Natives who simply wished the conflict over, Kodlak never fully recovered from the defeat.

Where others saw a power hungry king, Kodlak saw a true possibility for someone to revive his long dead Skryim. He’s fueled only by a burning hatred for Imperials and others he views as ‘weak’. That doesn't mean that he’s completely without human emotions however. He lives by a very strict code of honor and won’t hesitate to risk his life defending someone if he feels that they are unable to defend themselves.

He possesses a certain dishonorable bloodthirsty and cannibalistic side that keeps him from being a truly altruistic character. He had already been expunged from the Companions for this murderous attitude and when he was introduced to Werewolf blood, the cannibalistic instincts only amplified his murderous impulses. None the less, he does not prey on the weak. He carefully chooses his targets and makes sure that they are strong so that when he feasts on their flesh, he will be all the stronger.

History:
There are rumors of a warrior in the mountains
Who wears the skin of a man but has the fangs of a beast
Woe to those who pass the through the Forests in the East
For the man who guards them, his blade never sleeps
His cloak is adorned with symbols of nations past
And heart full of pride for a King that didn't last

What’s known about Kodlak is often spoke of in hushed tones and whispers. Some say that he was an ordinary mercenary in the Silver Hand who was bitten by a creature of the full moon and never quite recovered his sanity. Others swear that he pledged his afterlife to the Daedric Lord Hircine for the power to strike down all who opposed Jarl Ulfric.

What is kept on public record about him is that he was a part of the Companions at one point but kicked out for being reportedly ‘too cruel and vicious’. He was then seen in multiple skirmishes and major battles throughout the Civil War but others doubt these accounts due to their extravagance. Reportedly he was quick to discard his human skin and engorge himself upon the entrails of his enemies.

He was a loyal Stormcloak however and that is where his last name comes from. His real last name isn't known. It isn't known why his first name was adopted but many think it was in honor of the late Harbringer Kodlak, leader of the Companions. Mystery swirls like a bloody monsoon of death around this particular warrior. He’s never known to stick to any one place very long and it’s said that he occasionally commits one man raids against Imperial encampments though they have been hushed up by Elisif to prevent hysteria among the Legion’s ranks.

Kodlak found himself in the outskirts of Bruma after months and years of mindless wandering. The scent of bloodshed and massacre was too strong for his primal instincts to ignore and he found himself heading to the apocalyptic Imperial city like a moth drawn to flame.
