A WILD TANK WITH SQUISHY HEALTH BUT A NOT-SO-SQUISHY OR DAMAGING BUILD APPEARS!
Real Life Name: Konrad Ostatni
Soul Story User Name: Silver_Soldier
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Weapon: Gloves
Weapon Name: śmierć
Class: Soul Wielder - This is essentially the magical tank class of Soul Story Online. Instead of relying on heavy armor or high health percentages to thwart enemy attack, this class instead pulls on its magical abilities for lasting strength. The result is a very resilient class that can take heavy punishment with ease, but is lacking in damage output as a result. As such, a Soul Wielder is incapable of facing harder enemies without outside support, or against large numbers of small enemies. While capable of possibly holding off such opponents for a respectable length of time, eventually loss of SP would render a Soul Wielder helpless. This class is a frontline support class.
Base Stats- HP: 50% SP: 200% (5% SP regeneration per non-combatant post)
Level: 1
Soul Attack: The damage and effects of all applicable abilities doubles, at the price of double the SP cost. (Abilities are not doubled in regards to time active however, only in the base effects/damage.) Certain class abilities cannot be doubled, and therefore are exempt from this abilities effects: Soul Shield, Soul Gravitation.
Move Pool:
Magic
Soul Shield (Passive) - User counters attacks against their person with SP, with a percentage cost equal to what would have impacted the users health. This ability ceases to function when the user no longer has SP left. An extra 10% penalty is taken if a status effect would have otherwise been applied.
Soul Punch - User transfers soul points into a strike, causing moderate damage between 6-10%, depending on enemy level and area struck. The result of the outburst of energy launches enemies a decent distance away from the user, with a minimum of ten feet for larger opponents. (Cost 5 SP)
Soul Warp - User speeds up their person, causing their perception and speed to be 2x that of others for a short period of time. (Cost 50 SP per round.)
Soul Gravitation - User is locked coordinately within the game, allowing the user to take on opponents without faltering. (Example, if tackled by a wolf, or clubbed by a troll, the user will not be flung about like a rag doll.) The added cost of this ability is that it amplifies any received attack damage by 1.5x. (Cost 20 SP per round.)
Avatar Appearance:
Personality:
Konrad possesses a strong personality, in both the strong and resilient way... And the childish way. If you were searching for him in a crowd, you would need only find the source of the commotion. Another good way to describe him is one who ‘wears his emotions on his sleeve.’Easily embarrassed, impulsive, and very forward- all traits that define Konrad’s character. His anger is as fiery and intense as his other emotions, but unless you do something utterly selfish and harmful to others, it is almost impossible to see it. As for girls? He likes them, but isn't all that interested in pursuing a relationship in the first place. At school he is characterized as foolish and comical, but anyone who knows him knows it isn't a front.
In his home life Konrad is a player of tactical games, RTS, TBS, and other strategy based online games, and is very good at them. Here is where you can glimpse his personality for what it is. Known as being slightly cheeky as a player, he has been known to turn on close allies when just at the edge of winning, or sending a group of men to their deaths on a whim. Despite this mentality he is feared in that realm of gaming, particularly in servers that he frequents. Konrad’s radical sense of strategy makes him impossible to predict as an opponent, and common battle strategy seems to fall apart. You place the back of your forces to a swamp, knowing that nothing strong enough to be a threat could make it through there, and focus on forward defense- only to find late game that he sent a troop of heavy infantry straight through it, despite the snail-speed movement and poor defense. Other times you send a massive force to take a fortified choke point, and fine no one there to guard it.
That said, his odd strategy isn’t really a winning one, his win/loss ratio is close to or at 1:1 in any game. Disregarding that, no player is sure how they will fare when facing him. It appears that more experienced players often have more struggle than newer players facing him. In short, Konrad is brilliant in combat sense and known for finding ingame bugs- simply because he tries things that no one has ever tried. At the same time, he is also known for being radical and impulsive in choice making, making him an awkward ally, from incredibly resourceful and dependable one moment, to falling apart at the next. The irony of this all? He hates MMO's. The lack of battle-wide control and large scale tactical maneuvers is a big minus in his eyes.... but how could he resist just trying out a virtual reality?
