Fairly simple teaching rp!

Setting:
In a world much like medieval England where magic exists and dragons are a real threat to humanity! Cities are quite large and even villages are brimming with people and buildings.

Plot:
The land is ruled by a divine monarch who holds a mysterious crown jewel. This is the object of many thieves' eyes and our two unlikely heroes are no different.

Appearance: Black air, brown eyes, average height, muscular, freckles, and a long thin scar on the inside of her right arm.

Clothing: Frequently wears pants and poses as a male in public, though most of the guild members know she's a girl. Has a mail shirt over a dark green long-sleeve, covered by a slightly fancy green and gold embroidered vest and a thigh length black cloak. She typically wears an over sized black robin-hood-esque cap to hide her face. She wears long leather boots with brass clasps on the inside and outside of her calves. These are actually daggers of different sizes, and the butts of the blades are designed to look like buckles on her boots. A small chain is attatched to her vest and a small stone, which she keeps in her pocket for blade sharpening.

Personality: She loves to steal. it is her livelihood and passion. She also stands strongly by her morals, however, and won't steal without reason, or selfishly, and will almost never break her code to make stealing easier. She loves technology and deciphering riddles/code. She's often outgoing socially but can become extremely cold and threatening if she's riled up, and can be very bubbly if she's had enough to drink. She usually occupies her time by formulating new methods to steal or planning a heist in one way or another. She almost always has something to say about a current event or topic of debate. She's usually suspicious of the people she meets, even if she doesn't show it. She dreams of saving the world one day and would love to learn to use magic, even though she's unsure of it's existence. She see's beauty in nature and wants to learn how to draw, but lacks the time and resources. She avoids romance because she's afraid it will tie her down and make her work and mobility difficult.

Weapons: She hides a multitude of daggers in her boots and on her sides. most are meant for throwing, but the two longest ones are meant for close combat, and are attached at her hips. She battles best at hand to hand and medium-long range, though she can hold her own against an intermediate swords person with her daggers alone. She also carries a whip, which is concealed in the lining of her jacket, for use as an alternative weapon and as possible avenue for quick escape. She also carries various small tubes of poison her sleeves (typically of her own concoction), some deadly and others having.. different effects.

History: She learned how to steel from following guild members around as a kid. There was one day when she was 7 that she watched how quickly and simply one of the trainees and his master stole an entire pouch of gold and even a few jems from one of the wealthiest (and meanest) merchants on her street. As the eldest of three children in an almost starving and single parented home, she realized the potential in thievery. So, in an attempt to replicate when the Members had done, she went up to the very same merchant and tried to pilfer some gold. unfortunately, she was caught and almost lost her arm for it in the scramble to escape (hence the scar) and barely made it away thanks to the inconvenience of her dress (hence the cross dressing). So the next day, arm bandaged, and pants on, she scoured the city for thieves and when she found one practiced and replicated their every move, quickly racking up the nerve to steal again, this time successfully. She did this over a course of three years, and pulled off one particularly impressive heist by stealing a local Lord's lost son back from a heavily populated dragon's lair (which the ignorant shit fell into, thinking it would be fun to provoke a dragon). This caught the attention of the guild and by the time she was ten, she was inducted into the guild as an full member. This is where she learned to use daggers for throwing and common fighting (because she was too small to heft a sword at the time). Here she also learned gymnastics, poison/drug making, a various other skills that a thief (and/or assassin) should have. To this day, she has only been caught stealing once. She developed a love for a good steal and began to use it as a way to not only provide for her family but fight crime (committed by both leaders and common criminals, which is ironic) within the city. She's currently looking for work and wondering about traveling, because the city that she's been working in for the past seven years has become too easy for her, and she's not interested in stealing simply for fun.

Name: Charles Thornhall

Appearance: Charles stands at 5'9" and weighs 140lbs. He has a slim build but his arms are well defined. His hair is yellow blonde and he keeps it cut short to about two centimeters thick. He maintains a thick, trim beard. His nose was broken and re-aligned poorly in his youth so it points slightly to the left and is jagged at the bridge where the bone healed improperly. A digit from his left pinky is missing.

Weapons: Charles' sword is kept in a sheathe across his back.

Personality: Charles has a short fuse and has been known to explode in times of anger or stress. Otherwise he's fairly friendly and a good spirit. He takes jobs very seriously and doesn't spend more time than he needs on a task. Fairly short-sighted, he doesn't have plans for his future; he exists in the now. Charles doesn't take failure well. He'll berate himself until he can't take it any longer and will drink himself into a stupor. When he's drunk he's a pretty happy drunk, liable to sing, dance and make a fool of himself. His greed knows no bounds and feeds his growing obsession with theft. Despite this he's known to give his loot to the less fortunate, only interested in the thrill of the act.

History: Charles was raised in a farming village to an abusive father and an alcoholic mother. By the age of ten he found himself pick pocketing just to have a little victory each day. As he grew into a young man he left home to escape his parents and found himself in league with roadmen. Ruthless criminals that ambush carriages and travelers along roadways. Eventually he struck out on his own as a thief. It started out as just a way to get by but slowly morphed into a passion. He essentially developed kleptomania over time. Nowadays he's a professional thief. Either for hire or for himself, rarely associating with the guild. His forté is cat burglary. Scaling walls comes naturally and easily. Stealth is a well-honed skill. What he has in sneak, he lacks in combat, and can't be relied on in a fight to do much else than stay alive.

Phew! Nice! Reminds me of my early sheets when I didn't link things, rather describe them. I still think it looks sloppy to link but I do it anyways.
