Okay, so for the plot I was thinking of something along the lines of the shy guy falling for the most popular girl in school, but has a hard time finding a way to get her to even notice him. As time goes on the girl eventually starts to like the shy guy but has to weigh her popularity to being with a guy low on the social ladder.

I like that idea a lot! I can see problems happening like rumors being spread around, and if he gets bullied, then her getting dragged into it too could cause a lot of conflict... Like from my personal experience, I dated an unpopular boy once and some guys drove along the sidewalk and sprayed us with water guns, it was super uncomfortable for both of us. :0

For the setting, do you want to do an American-style school or a Japanese one? Also, do you want to do character sheets today? I have a bit of homework to finish first, but I can get right on that after ^^

Ummmmm, I'm not really sure what a Japanese school is like so I would prefer american. As for the character sheets, do yours whenever you are ready. I plan on making one before I go to sleep but I may not. Heh, yeah going for popular girls has never been the easiest thing for me, but I have come close. Unfortunately popularity does seem to take over one's mind.
