I've got a project due and a final tomorrow (taking a class over the summer so I don't have to take it during the year).

So, expect the latest post from me to be up tomorrow after I get home from work, which is in the very early evening. It'll go up before I go to bed that night, probably much before.

Now that all the scenic stuff is out of the way, I'll be able to post as frequently as I need to. You're mostly all engaged in conversation, meaning that writing for all of you won't take a tremendous amount of time anymore.

Alright, time for an administrative change.

From now on, I'd like all of your IC posts in hiders. If any of you come into contact with one another in game, I'll be your go between. I won't abridge anything in your posts; more likely than not, I'll just copy and paste whatever's in your post.

I'm getting complaints from a couple people regarding some of the mechanics of the RP.

I'm considering them and working on rectifying the issues some of you have with them. Expect some minor administrative changes shortly. I appreciate all of your patience and willingness to cooperate; I ask that you remember that this RP is very different from other RPs available, and it's tricky to implement. I'm sorry for such recent and sudden fluctuation, but I'm thinking about these things to make the RP a more enjoyable experience for everybody.

I won't be available for about twenty four hours pretty soon here; I'll post before I leave, and when I get back, I'm going to post again if there're any new posts. I'll hopefully return with answers as well.

EDIT: Okay, may not get a post up today because I'm now leaving very soon and it took much longer to prepare, but definitely tomorrow when I get back.

I plan on posting when I get back from work tonight.

Is it still possible to get in on this? Reading through the forum it really caught my eye.

I'm going to cut back on the hiders soon, I think. Your posts will soon no longer have to be in hiders, and less information of mine will be in hiders. The use of hiders may be making your experience a bit more tunneled than expected, and cutting back on it may be a better idea.

If you could drop in your input before I make a decision, it'd be appreciate it. I won't demand it; I just want to know how everyone else is feeling about the issue.

My personal ideal would be to have the majority of information given to us be available to everybody, with hiders only being things that should be kept secret specifically for the advancement of plot. For example, if I'm in a room, and another player is in the same room, I'd rather be aware of this, and have neither of our sections be in hiders. Unless, however, that player happens to be assassinating me or someone I am involved with.

Similarly, if I am across the country from someone, I'd still enjoy reading about what that character is doing. As long as it doesn't specifically relate to my character, reading their actions will have very little—if any—effect on my own decisions.

It may be true that as a player, if I know another player is in the same room as me, I might be more inclined to have my character interact with that other character. However, I keep my character consistent as much as possible, and so hopefully we'll be trustworthy enough not to break the suspension of disbelief.

Of course, you are the Game Master here, and any decision you make in the end I will support. I am interested and invested in this RP either way, and will do my best to make it work for you and for my colleagues. :D

I'm going to make a decision on the hider situation, likely after the wedding stuff is settled. For now, don't worry too much.

Aeron, there's another poster that I haven't seen for a while (the guy who plays Pikes), so I held off on your post until I can find him again and make sure he's still involved in this RP.

Once the next big post comes in, I'm going to start making progressive changes to what's in hiders. Soon enough, if you're all in the same area, you'll all have a general view of what everyone's doing rather than having awful tunnel vision so soon. That plan was made much more difficult by the fact that I can't layer hiders anymore.

Many of you are wrapping up or have wrapped up what you had to, so it's only going to be another few IC posts, one of them being the last major development at this wedding. It's time I got you guys starting on what the Fates have planned for you.
