I used to watch that yogscast series! Anyways, I throw my hat towards character 1. Basics are good to have and I like the character already! xD

Would anyone want to do characters with a history together? Like relatives, distant, ex-friends, etc?

I think the first one is better, and I'm making a cryomancer character, just to let you all know.

Looking back on the two characters, I feel like I can build a better, deeper personality for the second one. I'll keep thinking about it. Thank you guys for your insight, though. ((:
