Jeremiah's grandmother use to make him a peanut butter cake every year for a random occasion. He mentioned a few months ago about how he was wanting another, but because she and his mom have passed, I have no idea who to get a recipie from. I've never even had a peanut butter cake and I hate peanut butter, so I have no idea where to start.

I want to make it from him on Valentine's Day. I think it would be sweet and simple, especially since his birthday is next month and I want to do something else special then. I tried Food Network, and they only have Paula Deen's version... Along with that, every online recipie I try ends up in a disaster.

Has anyone ever eaten one of these and could possibly get me a recipie? I'm so desperate it's not even funny.

I'm sorry... Usually I'm good with desserts and the like, but, I don't know this one... I could ask around, if you like.

I have not had that cake, but I do know a recipe for a good peanut butter frosting that tastes a lot like Reese's PB.

My mom's mother made peanut butter cake way back when. I don't have the recipe, personally, but I did some quick Google searches and this recipe sounds pretty close to what I remember my mom telling me previous times. She just passed away, so I can't ask her or anything, though, sorry. Either way, I'm not sure if this is close to what HIS family used and granted that it is another online recipe, but it's worth a shot to throw it at you.
