"Sir?" Sir!" Thomas exclaimed "Are you okay my good fellow? What is the problem that makes you hurt?"

"It's alright, I'm ok it's just... I was remembering the orphanage," Jeffery pauses and looks of into the sky for a second. "I still need to decide which I prefer, that orphanage or here, I was miserable but at least it was familiar, here the people are nicer... so far but I don't know anything about this place."

"I see" Thomas looked stern while deciding what to decide to say next "Well fear not chum i have your back!" Thomas said smiling

"Thanks... I guess," Jeffery looks at Thomas in amazement as he has never met someone so nice. "I never expected to make a friend this fast, I barely even planned on talking." He laughs a little bit thinking of how stupid that must have sounded, "that must have sounded kind of stupid right?"

"I have agreed to be the greeter. I'll explain as soon as you take your place. Your group leader is leaning against the fence. She's the one with the knives." Katherin explained.

Thomas spread his hands almost like a preacher "Of course not! Each to his own after all and if you plan on not talking then thats fine by me comrade! Either way Its a pleasure to know you"

"Yeah It was great to meet you Thomas." Jeffery looks down and realizes his sleeve is pulled up a little to far, as he rushes to pull it down he realizes that Thomas probably noticed. In an attempt to not start on why he pulled his sleeve down so fast, Jeffery pulled a book out of his bag. It was his favorite book, the Japanese manga Blue Exorcist, and began reading it almost instantly.

"Attention please!" She said loudly, surveying the mix of people and already starting to categorize them into factions. " My name is Katherin. This school is very different from one you ever have attended. There are no teachers here, but don't think that you can run rampant then. There's the Administration, which is much worse than teachers. They're the people that set up this school." She said and took another breath, "Those gates," she said and pointed to the gates which were now closed, "Will never open again unless new kids are coming in. You're stuck here for good." She said. "The Admins have decided that we will be divided into factions. Each faction has significant roles. Everyone take a pamphlet, it'll explain more." She said and handed them out. " Halcyon is lead by Liz, Sedition by Roxy and Savant by me."

Thomas saw that Jeffreys sleeve up up a little high and thought nothing of it until he pulled it down hastily, Thomas however made nothing of it and did not inquire.

"Oh, how fun." Bambi had muttered, just before the announcement started, she looked at the girl that was supposed to lead and winced. This was going to be horrible.

Jeffery walks following Liz to wherever the Halcyon are supposed to go but at the same time he is cursing the school, "wait so we're stuck here for however long this is! Will we even get out, ever!?" Jeffery never likes to make a scene or be noticed, but he was very enraged to learn the shocking truth. "I still don't even know why I'm here!"

Sebastian took the pamphlet and read it over. He put it in his bag. "Calm yourself, you're acting childish." he told Jeffery. "Make the best of a bad situation." he stated. He knew that there was no where left to go, for any of them, and he didn't mind. This place would have a roof over his head and food in his mouth, so he didn't bother complaining.

"Easy for you to say I, heard on the bus ride that the Savants were basically the favorites of the administrators. At first I didn't know what that means but now I do." Jeffery realized how rude he was being and didn't want to make a scene. "Sorry Sebastian, I was kind of rude. I just want more than this, I mean I was planning on going to college after being released from the orphanage, but not like this. I wasn't to live a life outside of here, where I'm free." While saying these things he realized his depression started getting worse.

"Calm down everyone. I know the is something of a shock. No one came here knowing that they would not be allowed to leave. Like Sebastian suggest I think we should make the best of a bad situation. We don't have any choice. Now the schedule will be as follows. At 7 breakfast will be served by the Seditians. Then we will have class. After class the Seditians will have gym or of sort activity. At noon we will have lunch. Then we will have class again. To finish the day with a team building activity."

Sebastian wrote everything down. "So, when do we get food? I don't mean to sound impatient or rude, but I had to cross several states to get here, and I am starved." he explained.

"Lunch is ready in the cafitria." Roxy growled "It's nothing fancy since I made it myself."

"Yay lunch, maybe this place isn't so bad," Jeffery said since the only thing on his mind right now was food. He started walking in the direction of a building that said cafeteria, but now he began to actually think about the situation. "I guess Sebastian is right," he said to himself, "we should make the best of this, but I still don't like it."

Sebastian followed behind and walked towards the cafeteria.

The Bad Penny Shows Up

Through the Academy gates comes a van who's only windows are those required to drive safely. Dark blue and without markings it came to a stop but the driver did not exit but simply sat in his seat

Inside the van Penny knew they'd stopped but where she was she hadn't a clue as her two watchers hadn't uttered even a word to her during the entire trip. Even now they said nothing as the began removing her shackles.

"Does this mean I'll be denied your sparkling company an personality; an just when I was sensing a bond forming between us." says Penny with a smile as she watches every move the two make.

When the shackles are completely removed Penny is jerked upright by the man and it is at this time the woman chooses to speak.

"Welcome to the Academy Penelope, here's your school pamphlet and good luck" she says just before opening the doors of the van. Roughly the man shoves Penny out the door where she blinks a moment as her eyes adjust to the light.

Looking around herself Penny sees other people standing around a few staring at her but then who wouldn't in her neon pink Prison coveralls.

They seem to have collected around signs. One says Savant another Halcyon and one which said Sedition. Penny glanced at each group taking stock of the members and smiled when she noticed that the girl by the Sedition sign had several knives on her.

"Looks like my kind of people" says Penny with a giggle as she heads over to introduce herself.
