AS for deck, I dunno what to use. You don't want prophecies, and the only other decks I find fun are gimmick ones. I could do Dark World or Hieratic, but those are also ungodly powerful too >.>

Hmmm, what do we do with ocg cards? I mean, there are an awful lot used in the various animes, like gx and arc-v. Maybe some people here already added ocg cards into decks and I didn't notice, but I thought I should ask just in case.

I decided to skip out on using the Timelords, as much as I love them. For one... they normal summon, which isn't a class, and also I couldn't think of any good reason for a kid to have them. The wiki says that they are names as rare cards in the anime as well. So here's my redone pendulum summoning character. Now to teach myself what a pendulum summon is and how it works! Xp

Saze Iver
- Age: 11
- Grade: 6
- Course Attended: Pendulum

- Personality: Saze is friendly and cheerful and always wiling to smile for others' benefit. Unfortunately, seeing him that bright and cheerful is only slightly more likely than getting struck by lightning. The boy is always either sleeping or incredibly tired. In class he's always just on either side of nodding off, in the halls he often bumps into people or things because his eyes have slipped shut, and outside he'll usually be laying down somewhere. Though you would think this would make him incredibly lazy and a slacker, he somehow still manages to absorb things people say to him when he seems asleep and does quite well in his classes (at least when the teacher isn't punishing him for falling asleep) Sometimes Saze will even carry on entire conversations while asleep and not remember them later on. The only time you're guaranteed to catch him when he's awake and alert is when he's eating, and boy can he eat. The combination of Saze never doing anything but sleep and eating as much as he does makes "Where does it all go!?" one of the great mysteries of the world.

- Other Details: Saze is remarkably good at physical activities, mostly because despite always being seemingly exhausted, he never gets tired physically. He tends to have a delayed reaction to things.

@Scar: I actually used at least 1 OCG card: "Elemental HERO Blazeman". That's basically saying they're up for grabs. Besides, why else would there be Pendulum Summoning and such as an option. Just about the only TCG Pendulums at the moment are Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician. Then there aren't THAT many more that have officially been released in the OCG, which is why I allowed anime/manga-only cards as well. Basically, as long as I can find it on Wikipedia, it's up for grabs. XD

@Arch: Dark Worlds are actually good to use. They're one of the Decks that you can use in a scripted Duel and not have much chance of being unrealistic. Like Blackwing or Dragunity Decks.

EDIT: @Jay: Yeeesssssss! Someone did a "Qliphoth" (or "Qliphort" depending on your source) Deck. Basically Pendulum Summon is a once-per-turn mass summon of any monsters from your hand (or Pendulum Monsters that have been destroyed when not in the "limbo" state and sent to the Extra Deck) whose Levels are between the Pendulum Scales of the Pendulum Monsters in your Pendulum Zones. I don't expect that to make sense your first time reading it. XD I know it didn't to me, or anyone else I know for that matter.

I thought Dark World existed only in the alternate universe in that GX season.

@Scar: Considering most of the people in that alternate universe in GX were based on cards they had in the "real world", I'll allow them, because otherwise I can't make sense of it in my mind. And oh . . . freaking . . . crap. Shaddolls. Those things are a pain on DN whenever I go against one of the people who use them. Falcon recycles the heck out of itself, and everything else just seems to help it. Then come the fusions. Won't even go into that.

@ Josh: feel free to switch to the Destiny HERO Deck.

I just tried out my theorycrafted deck in YGOpro. Evangelion angels wreck everything. The only thing that might get in their way is if someone can hit for 4000 before their pendulum engine starts working. I haven't tried them against Shaddolls yet though. Those stupid puppets tend to just laugh in the face of every deck you can throw at them.

I'm considering making a heavily built, elderly Professor char who uses a Beast-Warrior/Machine Deck focused around a Number 88: Gimmick Puppet Leo which took him years upon years of searching for around the world before he finally found it. He'd have some interesting "back in my day" stories. XD

I'll be totally honest, I've only heard what pendulum summoning was once, and it seems like a really convoluted gimmick. Working on the extra deck, not sure what my limitations are on that one...

- Personality Magnus is an eccentric who has a flare for the dramatic, at least when it comes to the 'magical arts', and can speak in strange philisophical words from time to time. He is a fan of adventure, and will usually go seeking it should the opportunity arise.

- Other Details His book acts as his duel disk as well. His staff is more for aesthetics, but makes a great adventuring tool, especially with a grapple on the bottom. Hey, magic doesn't solve everything.

Trying out shaddolls, realizing that all the different effs make it difficult for me to play one, and so I can't use shaddolls. I think I'll try using my lightsworn deck.

EDIT: Nvm a lightsworn deck, that seems a lot more difficult.

Since we can use anime/manga cards, I can swap out the upstarts for Dark World corridors. Makes dark world way more consistent, thats for sure.
