His career far from over. Seen people come back from FAR worse injuries than this. Sucks that he broke his leg, but he'll be back.

Ok, just dear god, he won't be the same.

We can't know that. It was a lower leg fracture, and it wasn't his knee. So he won't have micro fracture knee surgery like Amare Stoudemire had. Amare might not have been the same player after that surgery but he still played on a VERY high level for a while until recently.

And bones have a habit of healing well, and even coming back stronger. So, I'm thinking Paul George will be alright. This isn't the same injury that Shaun Livingston had who injured every part of his knee.

George will be back. Whether he will be the same or not is something we'll have to see. I think he'll end up being fine.

Trouble is, he's big. Big guys have a harder time with leg injury. Granted -- most basketball pros are pretty big -- but still. 6'8" means complications. He's obviously in good health so that's always great, but you see lingering problems from these injuries all the time in college (Kevin Ware comes to mind -- made a 'full recovery' and started playing again this season, only to relapse; my hometeam has Dajuan Coleman going through something similar). He'll be getting the best attention, and that's all anyone can really ask for.
