Okay so I have not had much luck with Marvel RPs. Maybe I'm not that good of an RPer or GM. I guess that would probably be it, but I kind of just want to try another idea I have. Actually this is an Old Idea. I'm gonna need to remake the OOC and I'm Character... I never got to start this up because It was about to go up right before the old guild went down. TT__TT
ANYWAY!!!
A group of villains in the not so far future of the marvel universe(not coinciding with the 2099 universe) who have great power and age seeming has done nothing to lower their prowess have finally taken over America and are slowly expanding across the world. It was about 2057 when it all began. Time seemed to move so fast after it begin. Days passed and soon months and years.
Eventually the year became 2088. After what seemed like a pointless struggle many heroes were either killed, locked away or forced into hiding. Budding mutants were forced to choose between following the villains or death. It seemed as though there was no stopping the villains anymore. The only thing anyone could do was live under there rule and hope they survived.
But who were these villains? Believe it or not this was a motley crew at best.
The Leader: The enemy of the Hulk with seeming limitless Knowledge. He using technology found a way to integrate himself in a technological marvel of a machine. Far greater than the armor or tech of Dr. Doom or even Iron Man. How did he manage this? Nobody knows. But it was done.
Venom(The Symbiotes): Using his new found strength and power coupled with his intellect The Leader took control of the Venom symbiote latching it onto a man he could manipulate easily. From there he made it spawn other symbiotes and created a sort of symbiotic army.
Ultron: Following his exploits with the Symbiotes The Leader moved on to a dismantled Ultron. He put it back together and used his new abilities to take control of it to an extent. Unlike the Symbiotes he gave it just a bit of freedom allowing it to work alongside him as a partner. Ultron agreed due to the changes made by the leader. Technically the Leader is in control of Ultron like the symbiotes but acts as though he is not to keep the final two on his side.
Blastaar: Persuading Blastaar was much easier than he expected. Using a few well-placed words and a guarantee of partnership. Blastaar the living bomb was would be one of the Leaders main forces leading his army of symbiotes and robot along with "Ultron".
Graviton: Graviton took a bit more persuading. Why did he need to? He was skeptic. He was old. The leader even opted to give him a way to become younger once more. He didn’t believe this, but when the Leader actually made him younger using a special serum he was amazed. Of course, he must use the serum every 3 days or he will revert to his decrepit state. Even with this it took a bit, but after much conversation and seeing the Leader's forces he agreed.
Along with Blastaar and Graviton leading the army of robots and symbiotes along with a controlled Ultron and Venom the villains took over.
However, this isn't where the story ends. Slowly a group of new heroes is being raised and taught in secret by a few heroes who refuse to give up. The team is young, but right now in a world where heroes are short on supply they're almost all we've got. Will they be able to rise up and take out the villains.
Okay so with that part out of the way right now I only have Wolverine, or Perhaps X-23 since Wolverine is kind of too mainstream in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I love the dude, but he's getting to be a bit overused. Maybe an aged Hulk who'd be a bit more like the newer more modern Hulk from the Disney shows with a mind. Well… More than that… It’s pretty much the Green Scar/Planetbreaker/World War Hulk. Hey... It might be Disney, but I like it. So sue me. We may also need a more tech-y hero. You know... advise, watch, give info and keep us patched in while on missions.
On a side note please don't sue me. I was kidding.
Getting back to business. I would think it should be a team of about 7 or 8. Let's make it 8. It's an even number and it's so SYMMETRICAL. lol okay so yeah... There's that. I don't care if you wanna use the child or grandchild of a hero, but you'll need to make the story kind of work. Also... depending on the powers of the predecessor you may need to nerf 'em a bit. You know it's true. It'd have to be done. I guess that's that. Anyone interested? Other than that I guess the only other thing is that you should go into this expecting to be somewhere from 15 or so to 18. Yeah yeah yeah I know "blah blah blah teens suck blah blah blah why can't we be adults for something so important blah blah..." Please if you don't like it don't try to argue or change my mind. It gets annoying.
And seriously DON'T sue me.
