With the increase of dimensional travel, worlds are beginning to tear apart. Rifts are portals used to travel to specific worlds, most of which are artificial. These artificial rifts are continuing to grow in size with each usage, and sometimes even multiplying, resulting in many dimensions dying out. Recently however some have come across a "Golden Rift" which randomly appears across the dimensions. The rift leads to a world where everything is made of gold. The Golden Rift went missing shortly after it's discovery, and is now randomly appearing across various worlds. Three groups with Three captains are in search of the rift for their own reasons:
Golden Heart; a clan formed by a Captain desperately searching for the Golden Dimension to save the worlds as well as his/her own.

Razón; a clan formed by a Captain wanting to destroy the Golden Dimension.
"Moth's Collapse Theory"
Currently our status with the usage of dimensional travel is at a peak. This form of transportation originated years with the discovery of "Rifts"; a human-sized portal that will bring a subject to a specific dimension. Further experimentation revealed that artificial rifts could be created very easily, which in turn set up the production of personal, consumer devices capable of their creation. These inventions were scarce at first, but soon were used in plenty. Almost everyone across the known connecting dimensions were capable of this travel, and they abused their gifts for vacations; usually multidimensional hotels, multidimensional high schools, colleges, beach resorts, reality shows, fighting competitions, towns and other kinds of business.
Since the four years this has happened, the current state of the dimensions is at epidemic proportions. This is where the "Moth's Collapse Theory" began:
A dimensional rift, created naturally or artificially, has the inability to close and will forever remain where it spawned. Every time a rift is used, it will grow slightly larger than it originally was (estimated growth is around 2"). If these rifts grow too large, they can tear apart the dimension they are housed in and the dimension they are connected to. As the increase in size is disastrous, their size can also alter the probability of it performing a process similar to mitosis. The chances of multiplication from a rift raises by .01% every instance in which it is used; It's original probability being that of a relatively low .04%. In very rare occasions, dimensions are consumed by the growth and sudden increase of rifts. The largest case of this being the destruction of five dimensions connected to each other. If the current usage of rifts stays where it is, life will be destroyed in a matter of three years.
In the increase of dimensional hopping, some have encountered something extraordinary: a glimmering golden colored rift, odd by itself when the usual rift appears to be a plain black hole. Some who have gone through it claimed that the world they found was completely made of gold. Golden soil, golden water, golden clouds, golden creatures; it made many across the dimensions drool, for various different reasons. Scientists have found traveling there via artificial rifts unsuccessful, and claim that it's immunity could finally be the solution to closing holes. Those in search of wealth clung to the ideal of a golden dimension for obvious reasons. Either way, when people began traveling to see the golden rift... they found that it had disappeared, along with the people who have discovered it.
Continuing to differentiate itself from other rifts, the "Golden Rift" seems to be traveling across the dimensions in a random path. Those willed enough to pursue the portal have banded together with others to travel across the worlds in search of it. Above all the searching parties, there are three major, powerful clans determined to find the rift;
