Mina kept gnawing on the iron bar until he stuck his arm in the cage. She pulled back, her snout popping loose from between the bars. In an instant she locked her jaws around his arm, tearing through flesh and eagerly letting his blood run onto her tongue. She gnawed on his flesh fiercely, her body slowly reforming to her human state again to take in more blood. Her golden eyes flashed to a deep, ruby red as she gulped down gallons of blood with a delighted look on her face.

Cassius growled as soon as her teeth made contact with his arm, the way she bit him and consumed his blood was excruciating but be could manage for the moment. The repairing and reanimation of blood cells was slightly painful, like a stinging pin-prick type of pain. His wounds kept trying to close around her teeth, once she released his arm his wound began to heal, the drops of blood returning into his body before the bites closed up. He stared into her eyes momentarily, noticing the rapid change in color, he saw how she returned to her human form, at least his assumption about her diet was correct. "What happened to you?" He asked once more, maybe now she'd answer, he hoped she had a clear head.

Mina fell back, gasping a bit when she was forced to release her sweet source of nourishment. She coughed a bit, the sensation of having some type of food in her body extremely weird to her. It had been so long since she had been properly fed, she couldn't even remember the last time. She was a bit cold, having torn her clothes at her sudden transformation, and curled her tails around her as she leaned against the back of the cage.
'No food... feral outbursts... locked me out..' she managed to murmur, coughing again.

Cassius' nails shifted into very sharp hooked claws, he ran them against the bar, slicing into them with ease. "I can take you away from this prison, just tell me, who did this to you?" He asked, he needed to know who drove a supernatural to this level of insanity, being so far away from the complex broke his connection with Vlad, he began to think clearly. Even still, part of his was screaming at him to eat her, he couldn't just kill someone who was like this. He continued to slash the bars, his claws now cutting through them and causing small pieces of the metal to clink against one another as they fell.

'Complex.... complex..' she coughed a bit, weakly gesturing at the direction Vlad's complex was in. She looked a bit surprised when he started cutting the bars. A bit of a scared look appeared on her face and she shook her head. 'D-don't...' she murmured.She hadn't fed so much after all this time, she couldn't predict when her next outburst would come around.

Eline shrugged at the question asked. " I do not know where everyone is. It has been a year and alot of people have vanished." Saying nothing more she followed the rest of the Hunters to the base.

Cassius looked in the direction of the complex, he knew it, he just knew this had to be Vlad's doing. Her look of fear made him second guess freeing her, what was to stop her from attacking people whenever she hungered? He shook his head and looked toward her, managing a weak smile. "I have to get you away from here..." He said, with the bars of the cage weakened he easily pulled them away, allowing him to step in. He used his claws to destroy her bonds, helping her to her feet immediately after freeing her. "We have to...now.." He said in a serious tone, he didn't need Vlad or anyone catching him in the act, he also didn't need this girl knowing he worked for the man who did this to her. He began to quickly lead her out of the cage and back toward the forest, he didn't know where he could take her, it there was even a safe place to take her.

Mina shook her head a bit and pressed herself into the corner a bit more. When he cut her bonds she froze a bit, but he already got her on her feet.
When he lead her away she couldn't resist walking along. A taste of freedom after being captive so long was just too tempting. Still, the fear of suddenly attacking her savior kept nagging in the back of her mind.

He was ignoring her protests as he brought her along, he began noticing that she was walking with him. Once he passed with her through the thick brush of plant life they were practically invisible to anyone outside of the forest. He began to accelerate his step a little, he could easily hear a stream flowing accompanied with the sound of it bouncing off of a large hollow area. A cave, that was good, maybe it would be a good place to be until she was well enough to travel. There was still a chance that she could kill someone, that was risk he wasn't going to take.

Mason looked over to Zhalia and smiled softly, glad to have her around, he viewed the old scars from the past that she bore. Trying not to think too much of the past he looked back to Ryan, deciding to ask a question that was bugging him. "Are you a hunter?" He asked the kid in a curious and inquisitive manner.

Aaron waved to Zhalia before continuing his practice with the new weapon, he was getting better at it no he thought.

Mina walked along, but she hadn't moved in so long that she nearly collapsed. Her muscles were as weak as her body was, she could barely walk along. Thereby she was freezing, having no clothes on her body and walking barefoot on the cold ground didn't quite help. 'Where are you going?' she asked, panting a bit.

Zhalia got on her feet and stretched, walking over to Mason. 'Who's this?' she asked as she wrapped her arms around his waist playfully.

Cassius looked down at the female when she collapsed, part of him was saying that he needed to just leave her there, that she was too weak anyway. He began to even wonder why he even bothered saving her if she was just going to give up and die now? Mentally he slapped himself, how could he have even thought that, there were people that he knew wouldn't give up on him , he could just give up on her. He was never a victim of the cold, thanks to his new physiology heat was always insulated and radiating off of him. She seemed cold, hypothermic even, he picked her up and carried her bridal-style, hugging her to his body to keep her warm. "I'm going to take you someplace safe..." He said to her, the sound of the stream lingered in his mind, he needed to get her there soon.

Mason smiled at Zhalia, putting an arm around her as well. "This is Ryan, I don't think he's a hunter though..." Mason said, putting a hand on his chin as if to ponder something, maybe he could teach the id everything. Maybe even Anthony was willing to help him out.

Mina was panting a bit, feeling absolutely awful. Her body was so weak that it didn't even generate heat. Every drop of blood she had gotten from the stranger was converted to energy to keep her organs going. She hated feeling this helpless, like when she was held captive in the hotel's dungeon, but back then she had something to hold onto.
She gasped a bit surprised when she was ripped out of her stream of thoughts as the stranger swooped her off her feet. She felt even more helpless like this, but the welcoming warmth of his body was too inviting to reject. 'I'm not helpless you know... I just haven't eaten in such a long time that I lost my mind...' she murmured a bit.

Zhalia smiled and huddled against him. 'Hunters can be made though, if he has the right attitude.' she said.

A small smirk came across Cassius' face, he hadn't done that in a while unless he was ordered to "take care of" the supernaturals that Vlad told him to deal with. "That kind of makes you helpless..." He said to her, looking down with his smirk still there, he got past the trees and in the clearing he found the stream and to diagonally from it he saw the large cave. He could easily fit inside of it in his petentem form but he wasn't sure how she'd react to that, it always sent people running in the other direction. He snapped out of his doubting thoughts and carried her to the mouth of the cave. He sat her down and held out his arm. "Go ahead..." He said to her with a small smile.

Mason grinned a bit at the idea of training a normal person from nothing and turning him into a hunter. "You have a point there.." He said with a smile before looking to Ryan. "So, do you think you're up for it?" He asked.

Mina blinked a bit surprised, then blushed a bit embarrassed when she realized he had a bit of a point. She kept silent and looked at her own legs as she tried to hide her embarrassment. She shivered a bit when he sat her down on the cold ground, shivers running up her skin. When he held out his arm for her she paused for a moment. He had a regenerative ability, that was for sure, but that said nothing about his blood.
'Won't you lose too much blood?' she asked hesitantly. 'You're not human, that's for sure, but still...' she paused a bit. 'I don't want people to die because of me anymore...'

Cassius gave an encouraging smile, his blood cells could regenerate, so he'd be okay. "Hey, it's alright, my blood is regenerative, drink up..." He said to her, managing a.smile, he was curious about what she was though.

Mina looked at his smile and hesitated a bit more. 'Really...?' she murmured.
She looked at his arm, could hear his heartbeat, almost the rush of the blood below his skin. Her stomach growled a bit as she looked at the vibrations of his heartbeat on his skin, the throbbing of his arteries. She couldn't take this anymore. Her pupils became thin slits as she took his arm and sunk her teeth into his skin, suckling on the wound she created needfully. Her eyes turned to a ruby red color again as she rapidly drunk from his open wound, almost as if she was afraid he would pull away his flesh too soon. As she drank more she visually seemed to recover from her emaciated state. Her skin filled up and regained some color, her hair became glossy again and a rosy glow appeared on her cheeks as she drank with a blissful expression once again.

Ryan blinked and nodded, following him. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but he was sure these two were friendly. He followed Mason until they arrived at some sort of base. He raised an eyebrow as he followed Mason and Eline into the base. He got a confused expression as he saw someone practicing destroying mannequins. Crap, this isn't a supernatural trap is it...? "Sorry... what kind of base is this?" He glanced at Mason, a little suspicious while stepping back slightly. Alright... if they're supernatural... what can I do... Running probably isn't an option, but it's a back-up... Fighting would never work against them, especially since one has weapons... I guess I could take the fun out of the hunt if they try to kill me? He frowned slightly at the stupidity of going with a couple of people he barely knew, but accepted his mistake as he awaited a clue about their true identities.

The short duration of Venators gas-induced nap did not permit him with enough time to dream. He merely slipped back into a conscious state as if no time had passed at all. The first thing to come to his attention was that he was now strapped down as opposed to being chained up as he was previously. He lifted his head up to survey the room and quickly noticed that there was a young man standing in front of him. Taking into consideration the last encounter he had at this place, he decided that the individual was most likely a threat.

“I would advise against whatever you’re planning unless you desire to die at such a young age.” Venator said in a stern tone to make sure the boy fully understood the weight his threat carried.

Cassius nodded suggestively to her, letting her know that feeding off of him would be okay. He could easily hear her stomach growling, he smiled even through her bite, wincing a bit and even growling in a soft manner. He began to calm down, it hurt alot but he needed to stay calm for the female, there wasn't going to be anything good coming if she set her off. His eyebrows went up in surprise as he saw how her body began to quickly restore itself thanks to his own life force. To be honest, the feeling didn't hurt anymore after a while, if anything it had been relaxing to him.

Mason mentally facepalmed but he kept his face expressions nonexistent save for his smile. "This is a hunter's base and don't worry, not all supernatural are bad so no one is here to hurt you." Mason said, merely glancing at Zhalia as if to say the female was a supernatural, which she was. He just didn't want this kid to class all supernaturals as evil, he needed to know that there were good ones too. "If I'm going to teach you anything I have to make sure you understand that..." He said firmly, he didn't like the idea of a new hunter running around going on a killing spree out prejudice feeling.

Mina's lips seemed to be glued to his skin as she gulped down as much blood as she could in a short amount of time. She could hear him growl softly and tried to make it as gentle as possible for him, but she had to keep her teeth in his flesh to keep the wound open. Once she could feel her body heating up and her stomach was filled up she slowly retracted her teeth from his skin, licking over the wound to speed up the healing with her saliva. She felt completely rejuvenated after eating her fill and released his arm. 'Thank you...' she said with a relieved sigh.

Zhalia giggled lightly. 'I forgot, he doesn't know anything.' she held out her hand. 'I'm Zhalia, Mason's girlfriend and I'm a mermaid.' she stated. By now she hoped he had taken a good look at her skin and seen she had a light cover of scales.
