I'm Atty, serial roleplayer. I've joined and left a lot of forums because I'm really impatient about replying times. But alas, Australian, time zones are my enemy.
I love rps of most types. Not so much historical because dates don't stick in my head, and I know enough torture and human rights abuses from the past that I just can't romanticise any time period. But eeeeey, fantasy! Sci-fi! Intricate, subtle character development! Cheesy amounts of broody anger! I love it all. I prefer rps with shorter introductions/character sheets, so that it can start more quickly, and the focus can be put on evolving along the way. Something that takes a week to read and apply to is not my style.
And if I see a meta/power-gamer, I'll run a mile away. I roleplay for the writing, not for the ego trips.
Anyway; if I'm online, I'm ready and raring to go. Like right now. I need my fixxx...
