Post apocalyptic world taken over by monstrous bugs and aliens and mutated humans. Ummm the actually defiance world is pretty giant and I wouldn't do it justice. I suggest the wiki

Plot line is that your a group of recruits trying to make earth better but countless strong holds are being attacked by raiders. We're a rag tag team of soldiers.
