IMHO, one form is too weak, and the other - too strong.

He could even out in human form if he got some weapon and light armor though.

Ah, his human form can come with anything he gets his hands on, you should at least expect him to have a pistol or shotgun.

Along with an impeccable suit.

It won't be anything beyond common place human weaponry though.

I had the same first impression, but then realized he reminded me a lot of David Smith (my character from the unfinished sword fight), who could take on any one of these characters thanks to his superior speed, which I think melonheads guy would have, given his strength to weight ratio. LeeRoy's guy is stronger, but very topheavy which makes him suffer in agility, while mine is probably the strongest here but wearing armor, which slows him down. And yours, Vordak, is more or less an extremely fit human with magic at his disposal.

Point being, he could bring a pistol or shotgun if he wanted and still not be overpowered, but I don't think he'd need it to beat any of us if he's clever about it. It's up to him though.

Its true that his human form would have a considerable speed advantage, I'll have him bring a glock semi-automatic and two clips into the fight as well though to compensate for the lack of ranged ability he has as a human.

None of the rest of us have any significant ranged ability (aside from Vordak's guy or using the environment), so some melee weapon might be more suitable, but I'm okay with you having a pistol if that's what you want to bring.

Azarak can use two Obsidian spikes in human form, so melee is already covered.

I think a firearm of some form makes the most logical sense, though I'll make it a revolver with 6 shots instead to balance it better.

Well, diffrent melee weapons are diffrent in application, and those obsidian spikes dont look like they have neither great reach nor versality, especialy given that they are brittle, thus unsuited for parrying.

There's no real limit to the range of the spikes, other than practicality.

Though it's true they're too brittle to properly parry with.

Alright, couple questions.

First, the slash. The sword is in his right hand, I assume? I don't think it was ever actually stated. Also, is the slash right to left or left to right (from your own character's perspective)? And finally, which of my forearms is he targeting?

Secondly, the mist attack. Where is the sword in relation to my character when it's launched? From what I read, it would only be inches away from his chest and no cone attack, however wide, would be able to hit his face from there unless it was aimed up toward it.

It were stated that his left hand is occupied, so yes, in his right hand. As he attacks after the bat has passed, it could only be right to left and to the forearm closest to him (right forearm). The mist was launched before he jumped forwards, the line "The better for Vos, as he were about to barge through that mist" clearly indicating that. 4 feet is the distance, the sword's length and the right foot cutting down 2 feet from the initial 6.

Looks like that. At least, let it be whilel we are fighting in pairs. Once it becomes a 1v1v1, posting order should be returned, IMHO.

Yeah, that's how I saw it, as long as its 1v1 it really doesn't matter, unless you want fights to spill into each other and shit like that.

You can't interrupt your own post Vordak, and even if you could, there's no way you could shift your forward momentum to backward momentum fast enough to completely avoid the kick.

Things that aren't okay in the post: Altering your characters previously written actions (the lunge forward) when my character's action (the kick) was barely even initiated (this is exactly the scenario I wrote out as something I wanted to avoid). If an action is described as happening (without a qualifier), then that action will be completed unless interrupted or negated by the opponent.

Things that are okay in the post: The slash at Sev's leg. My post stated specifically that I was interrupting the second slash, so you would be free to alter it as you see fit (and within the realm of possibility).

But i wrote that Vos's right foot was lifted low and ready to stop his forwards advance when the need arises?

Plus, he were accelerating from a completely inert stance, thus, gaining little speed and having the opportunity to actualy absorb the momentum accumulated fast enough.

The way I read it, that was during your second hop forward, whereas my kick would strike during the first (when your right foot is the one moving).
