I used to be the same way, over time you'll learn to limit yourself. It's completely understandable that you feel the way you do, so no hard feelings. :)
Don't beat yourself up over it; most people wouldn't have even apologized around here. They would have just left us in silence to go about their business. It's respectable that you are honest with why you aren't going to run this.
If anyone's interested in taking the GM seat, I'll gladly help out as a Co-GM. The reason I can't take full GM-status is because I'm already running my own roleplay and it comes first.
