Hey serp, what about teachers or "npc" type characters?

There are teachers who have the 3 top Arcana cards, as outlined in the OP.
The Chancellor has Ruler
The Vice-chancellor has Avenger
and The Counseller (The priest) has Saver.

There also can be many different teachers, as you please.

Yeah I remember the top 3 but you said something about ones that offer a service and whatnot.

I thought it would be interesting to play a teacher with a servant that helps out.

Learn swordplay from Lancelot, or magecraft from merlin.

Something like that.

I could see it helping exposition a bit, while not taking too long or too much from the story.

That'd be pretty fun actually.

Well teachers like Students can summon servants for a mana cost, that last for a day unless they use NPs. So teachers can summon servants for classes for sure, but can't use them in actual fights unlike the boss 3.

Yeah thats what I figured. more of a teaching aid than a fighter.

Theyd be neutered, and could train masters on noble phantasms and skills and stuff.
