I mean, class is slightly better to aim for, inasmuch as you're presenting yourself as clean, polite, and educated(or at least try to. or imagine you try to), but that's what you should be doing anyways.

I really don't think class is 'awful' though, it's a word that fits situations. It can be an accurate descriptor. Swag is just a pop culture word that came out like 'blingbling' did or w/e.

Well, no, class isn't a bad word. But it gets misused a lot, and and in fairly awful ways, to the point where it is nearly worthless, and actually using it gets you labeled a douche or whatever. Which ends up making it bad anyway.
