Operation [REDUCTED]

[REDUCTED]
Combined Russian and Ukraine military forces moved in on the city of Pripyat after reports of strange energy readings in the area at 0100 hours. Armed radiation protective gear and armored vehicled reinforced with lead lining they moved in to the center of the city where the orbital satellites were picking up the strengest energy readings. Upon arrival the teams reported nothing out of the ordinary, ordered to hold position they stayed until 0150 hours. According the retrieved audio logs this is when the first encounter happened. Private [REDUCTED] reported pains in his chest and head, his Commanding Officer ordered him to get inside one of the tanks and have the medic look him over. After this more than 3 units report seeing private [REDUCTED] collapse into convuslsion. Medical Officer Sergya then ran over to the private to check on his condition. This was when private [REDUCTED] was reported as exploding and a creature described as a demon with claws and wings tore it's way out of his body before tearing into medical officer Sergya.
Surrounding units engaged the creature and destroyed it before more of these monsters started appearing from surrounding buildings and attacking the infantry.
This is when the [REDUCTED] gate opened, red circular portals that released more of these creatures as well as several larger ones that attacked the tanks the troop was ordered to make a tactical retreat.

Nuclear strikes where reported to have no effect on the anomalies appearing in the city and surrounding area so Ukrainian Government ordered a quarentine of the area enforced by the military Codenamed Operation "Gate".
The portals were believed to be opening to hell itself and teams have been sent in to find a way to deal with these but it was discovered that normal humans could not approach these portals without being turned into the creatures designated as Demons.
Hellshocked, the infamous term given to those who survived the first encounter and later operations into tue quarentine zone the physical effects are obvious, while mentally stable for the most part the effected men and women show colour change in their iris, turning a deep red and giving off a faint glow in low light conditions they also show the enhanced strength and endurance of the smaller Demons.
The RP would be about these soldiers, the Hellshocked. The only humans who can bring the fight to the gates themselves and possibly close them, designated Operation "Seal"
