Good to hear.

I hope there's no rush with the RP either 'cause I haven't even had the time to read through your posts today! Weekends should be my days off from everything social, but they always seem to get clogged up anyway.

Ha, I've got an idea for a villain. His power is Narration, or basically a more narrative Music Meister. Idea from the Stanley Parable. Also, unlike Music Meister, this guy has phase shift, but you can disobey his narration, though doing so might make things weird later on.

Alright, that being the case I'm no longer concerned. I just didn't want to see a stereotyped character. Like that gumbo thing- sorry, Dingo, I know you didn't mean any offense, but that was kinda bad.

Sorry. I guess a little back story is in order: I have a friend who used to make some badass gumbo from a family recipe. Whenever I watched him cook it, it always reminded me of some sort of flavor-based potion crafting, so my idea largely stemmed from thoughts I had watching him cook as opposed to any Cajun or Creole stereotypes. Sorry if it caused any offense.

EDIT: Also just toying with 2econd character ideas right now. There's one I have in mind that I'd like to try playing, but I don't want to overload myself and sacrifice the quality and promptness of my posts :/

Does this mean someone could play a Princess Tutu build? xD

I hear you, Dingo, I hope I didn't give you the impression I was offended.

Nah, just realised how that could have offended someone.

Gonna quickly throw up this work-in-progress CS and see what people think.

Thoughts?

Pixi, It's all good no harm no foul. Also I believe you've apologized enough for a few weeks :P

Yog, As has been echoed as long as this theoretical character isn't a stereotype its all good.

Dingo, Well I'm not really a fan of combo-platter powers. The whole indomitable will and heroic inducement thing seem a little tacked on to someone who was rejuvenated to a physical prime already. Also his soul-bound weapons are a little overpowered. I have no idea why an ancient shield is warded against Bullets :P Also it fails to explain why he was even chosen for such a thing. And he seems to be another pure physical character which I feel we may have enough of already.

Just so you guys know, fighting a top-tier Warlock is hard :P

EDIT: Also Abysse, there are in fact three supervillains and a whole buncha innocent hostages on the top floor. The whole point of why Zaphkiel was going in that way :P

This restaurant has two distinct floors? >_>

I just thought you meant, "Use the roof."

What's the situation on the top floor then? Who are the three villains? Where are the hostages in relation to them? Along the walls? Spread about?

Well I wrote that earlier. He even said top floor. To be fair I didn't mention it much after the first few posts though.

Well there's about a few dozen hostages and a half-dozen or so trigger-happy thugs, a phaser named Ghost, a super-acrobat named Stalker, and a sonic shrieker named... Shrieker :P

They are dispersed around the top floor where there are several tables along the windows and several more spread around the middle of the room, the staircase downstairs in a corner. The hostages are all seated at the tables.

Ok great.

On reflection I noticed I have been writing an awful lot of body horror. Some part of me is a little perturbed while another part feels the need to comment on perfume.

Cool cool, that's why I figured I'd run it by first. The bullets thing is more of a blanket term to cover projectiles; Bullets, arrows, stones, etc. I thought about using the term missiles but I was worried it may be misinterpreted. The will thing was meant as more of an extension of his personality and his concepts of right and wrong and the heroic inducement doesn't even need to be a power, really, more a talent he has in bringing out the best in people and motivating them.

I was thinking of having the weapons be linked to him as part of his family heritage, but wasn't sure how to write it, and the Axe could just carry the sound of a thunderclap instead, which could be a blessing and a curse, making it little more than a really loud axe. But like you say, there's enough purely physical characters right now, just I can just keep him in reserve for another time or another RP.

I know we're allowed to make villains, but what about evil groups, like the Novus Sapiens?

Question, is it Atrophy or Entropy that works better for 'fade from existence'?

Oh god, I got a single hour of sleep last night because of a loud party downstairs.

Catching up now, gonna write a post as soon as I can! This should help me calm down.

EDIT: Well now, this mission ain't going well at all, is it?

This poor Summoner is really making his odds worse... I mean, his poor gryphon is pretty much screwed already and this is one giant ass eagle-lion thing.

Pshh, yeah. They're apparently already making a sequel.

I've rather enjoyed the few LP's I've seen, though.
