Ambicatus cells do not degenerate, halting the aging process. His body and mind will always remain in its' prime. As a result, Ambicatus cannot develop tumors, cancerous growths, organ failure or even chapped lips. Whenever his body heals from a wound, it heals perfectly, leaving no scarring or fractured bones.
Indomitable Will:
Ambicatus determination and willpower is superhuman, granting him immunity to telepathy, mind control, subliminal messages or seduction and any other power that relies on dominating or deceiving his mind. This also allows him to push himself beyond his limitations through great physical pain or psychological trauma. He will refuse to surrender, no matter the odds.
Heroism Inducement:
Ambicatus can instill heroism in himself or others, making him the ultimate motivator in times of great adversity, allowing him to inspire those who have given up hope to continue and perform seemingly impossible achievements.
Peak Physical Condition:
Ambicatus is constantly at the apex of human physical condition, granting him enhanced strength, agility, athleticism, balance, dexterity, durability, endurance, flexibility, jumping, intelligence, lung capacity, marksmanship, memory, reflexes, senses, speed and stamina. Ambicatus could run, jump and swim in any olympic even and easily compete with any world record holder.
Soul-bound Items (Shield of the Nemeton & Axe of Loucetios):
Ambicatus carries two specific items that he has gained in his travels, the Shield of Nemeton and the Axe of Loucetios. The shield is made from the oak of a sacred nemeton tree and blessed by the goddess Nemetona who decreed that it shall "deflect any blade, bludgeon, bullet or blow" that it encounters as well as being impervious to heat or cold.
The woodcutter's axe was blessed by the god Loucetios, it's handle made from a branch of the same oak tree after it was severed by a bolt of lightning. Whilst it does not create or manipulate lighting it has been blessed so that each blow will carry the force and crack of the mightiest thunderstorm. These items were gifted to Ambicatus by the gods themselves and can wielded by him alone.

Psychological Profile:
Henri has a deep sense of right and wrong. Where some would stand to the side and watch events transpire, Henri cannot allow criminal transgressions to go unanswered and will always fight for what is considered right and fair.
Converesly, he is incredibly friendly with those he considers friends or allies and will never say no to a drink with friends, especially if he's brewed it himself.
Biography:
Henri was born to a swedish father and irish mother and raised in Zürich in 1921 and grew up in WWII-era Switzerland, who had taken stance of armed neutrality at the time. Henri was raised a lumberjack, much like his Zürich-born father, and they spent much of the war aiding refugees fleeing Nazi Germany. It was during this time, hearing the tales of the Nazi concentration camps, that Henri developed a deep disdain for those that would inflict such suffering on others. Meeting such diverse people, however, he also developed a curiosity and desire to travel and see the world. Throughout his life, Henri's mother would constantly regale him with tales of Ireland and her family history as well as much of the history of the Biritsh Isles.
At the end of the second world war, Henri spent the next 40+ years traveling the world, encountering new languages and cultures and routinely returning home and learning more about his family history, taking a keen interest in Gaulish and Celtic history. Eventually, however, he found himself too old to travel anymore and in an aged care home, having never married and his immediate family all having passed away. It was during this time, left to his memories and dreams, that the Awakening took place and Henri found himself returned to his prime.
Almost immediately he set out once more, traveling the world, whereupon he found himself hiking through the old woods that surrounded his childhood home. It was here, at midnight, that he came across a giant oak tree that he had climbed as a child and encountered Nemetona, the Celtic goddess typically associated with war and agriculture. She explained to him that his childhood home had been built on the edge of a sacred grove and that she had watched over him and his family in his youth and how they had helped those in need. In recognition of his deeds, she gifted him the Shield of the Nemeton, withdrawing it from the oak tree itself and instructing him to return to the tree the next day at midday.
Upon returning, Henri was then greeted by Nemetona's male counterpart Loucetios, the light-bringer, who explained that while Nemetona had watched over them in the night, he watched over them in the day. Severing a branch from the same oak tree, Loucetios gifted Henri the Axe of Loucetios, asking him to carry the items they had gifted them in his travels in the hopes that he would use them in the upcoming conflicts that would surely result following the Awakening.
It was from there that Henri travelled to Chicago, taking the name Ambicatus, after the figure of Cletic and Gaulish myth, looking to meet The League, since he had seen the same potential evil in the actions of the Legion as those of Nazi Germany during the second world war.
