I've got some friends in the states, actually. I might be visiting a childhood friend who's moved there soon. As in, as soon as I can spare time, sob. And we might drive down to NYC. I have absolutely no idea how far it is from where she lives. Off to Google Maps. Huzzah! Anything I need to see or do in particular there?

I mean, the West Village in general is a great place to wander around so definitely give it a peek if you can. And I'm sure Times Square was already on your to-do list. General note: I know I keep pushing back the next movement post, but I think it only makes sense to wait for Biggie's post, and then possibly for the Cal/Ginger collab. But it'll be good when we get there, I promise!

My favourite part is that whenever you say anything particularly dastardly, I can't help but try to count the shits your avatar is giving. Currently on zero.

Also, in the spirit of keeping up momentum (hopefully without sounding like I'm bitching about the pace of this), there are a good few techniques to not straight-up move the story on or at least prepare us for what's coming. There's the old placeholder post so a dialogue can be inserted retrospectively, but you could also post your next move in a hider in the OoC for now so the rest of us can have posts ready, or if you want to conceal that IC information from those players yet to post, you could PM the rest of us with that pre-post so we can have our own posts ready.

As I say, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining because this seems to be a really good and surprisingly fast group to work with, which is great, but even at this quick pace we're still being slowed down a little bit by waiting for posts that don't necessarily affect everyone, and I think we can probably work around a lot of that waiting in a lot of cases.

Hmmm. Hmmm… That would probably be a good idea. I had originally planned on posting the next bit IC so everyone can see what's going on and everyone would be on the same wave of *insert reaction here*, but I suppose I could just PM those of you who have already posted (and are finished for this round) and just have you include all of said PM situation into your post. Maybe I'll do that. Maybe. Y'all just gotta promise not to spoil anything in here if I do, of course.
