Very well then Viran. It's nice to hear your voice as well, it's been quite a while. I'll be in the mansion when you return.

Viran took in a deep breath of air as the teleport released him. He didn't know why but it seemed that when one was teleported more than once in the space of a few minutes it seemed to physically exhaust the person who was teleported. He should probably report it to Rikelis the next time he saw him. But as he turned the corner on his way to look for Mina, a massive grin appeared on his face and he forgot all about it for a moment.

"Mina!" He said happily as he saw her walking down the hallway towards him. He opened his arms and got ready to envelope her in a bear hug. "I'm so glad to see you again!"

Tyran looked at the man who was giving orders and then listened as he heard the sound of Viran's voice echo though the communicator letting them know that he had been mistaken in what he had seen. Tyran calculated that that was unlikely but he had been mistaken before so who was he to judge?

Besides, something else was occupying his attention at the moment. He turned to Steel and gently brought her away from the crowd for a moment. "Excuse me, Steel. But I need to speak to you about something. My sensors are picking up two earthbound objects that are entering the atmosphere. They seem to be artificial and from what my sensors are picking up, the power signatures seem to be Valkorian."

Steel sighed heavily. For a brief moment she had thought Tyran had wanted to talk about something else.

"Is something wrong Steel?" Tyran asked carefully. He wasn't that familiar with emotions but it almost seemed as if he had done something wrong.

"No...Nothing is wrong." She said quietly. "How soon until they land? And do they have any weapons that you can detect?"

"None. It's possible that they may be more refugees like Hisel's group. Do you think we should alert the others? Or should we just let Viran know?"

Steel looked at Tyran as he turned away and sighed again. They had faced certain Death together in the future. They had both been displaced from their home by Villains who had made Death and War seem like angels in comparison. And yet with all that scanning equipment, Tyran couldn't seem to detect the way her heart skipped a beat when she spoke to him or how she would blush. Maybe it's time to give up on him.,.She thought sadly. Maybe there wasn't enough of humanity of him left to know when someone was in love with him.

Even as Tyran scanned the approaching ships, a part of his mind was distracted. That part of his mind was focused on Steel. In truth, a small part of his mind had always been focused on Steel. He had always worried about Steel back in the future that they had come from where it was a fight for survival nearly every single day. And the day she had somehow managed to arrive in this time he had felt something...something that most humans would refer to as joy. Tyran knew that he had emotions, but he was still sorting out which ones were which.

What if something happens to her before I get it all figured out? He wondered as he continued scanning the approaching objects.

Mina pulled the hood down from her new clothes to release her wavy white hair before smiling widely at Viran, walking toward him.
'Viran, it's so good to see you again!' she exclaimed. She hugged the green skinned alien tightly, cringing a bit at the pain in her muscles, but ignoring it for the sake of her happy little reunion.

'How have you been?' she asked him. 'What happened while I was gone? Oh, and who are those Sentinels you spoke of?' she cocked her head.
During her time with the Teens you would have thought Mina picked up on more things. Unfortunately for whoever received her barrage of questions, that wasn't the case.
Mina busted out every question she had thought of during her training. How every member of the Teens was, if they encountered any new enemies and what their abilities were, how the dragon in their basement was doing, which she had grown somewhat fond of while she felt depressed.
She continued with telling him about her training and how she felt much better after speaking and meditating with her mother.
Eventually she seemed to realize her questions would overwhelm the poor soul, so she simply smiled and gestured at the couch. 'Let's sit down and talk, okay?'

Lily was just sitting there in her mech, a sigh of relief leaving her lips at the fight when she heard a girl call out to her and someone tapping the top of her mech. It was the Titans, Shadow and Nightingale if she recalled correctly, and they were soon joined by another, Sinna, if she recalled the news reports correctly. Well, she always wanted to meet the Teen Ttians, now was her chance. It wasn't as if she could blame them for being cautious.

The cockpit opened and she heard a yelp as the archer perched on top of her mech jumped off to avoid the hatch throwing her off the machine. "Sorry!" Lily cried out, forgetting to warn the girl before she unlocked the hatch. "Hi, thought you guys could use some help." She introduced herself, climbing out of the mech in her white combat suit and a short rifle strapped to her back. It wasn't that she expected a fight, she just felt safer having it on her if anything else were to happen.

Lily had lost her both her legs in a car accident and while she had built a pair of prosthetic legs to help her walk about, the distinct thud of metal against concrete when she landed would have given it away. It wasn't visible under her suit but anyone who touched them would be able to tell they were robotics and not flesh. Though that wasn't the point. The rest of the suit was more for protection against bullets and to help the rest of her body match up to the strength of her legs. She had decided the suit was a necessity since she didn't want to risk being pulled out of the mech or being forced to eject and leaving herself defenseless.

"Uh, hi, the name's Arsenal." She had chosen a nickname for herself and decided that before she let the Titans know who she really was, she would let them know the whole story and have them see her lab. "This sweet ride here is called Black Knight." A proud grin came across her face as she tapped the legs of the mech. "Built him myself, after what happened two months ago. In case you guys ever needed help. I was kind of... inspired by you guys, I guess."

She took out a piece of paper and wrote the address of her Armory down on it. "Here's where you can find me back in Second City. Just remember to ring the doorbell first. I've had to set up countermeasures against burglars and intruders. I'll explain everything there."

With that, Lily got back in her mech and took off, leaving the girls behind and quite dumbfounded at what just happened.
"Well, I guess we pay her a visit once we get back then." Rachel commented, still blinking away her surprise at the one-sided conversation she just had with Arsenal. The girl had managed to build an impressive machine on her own, and came to their assistance, so her talent was obvious. The only thing that bothered her was the metallic thunk she heard when the girl landed. Something told Rachel that the mech was not the only piece of machinery this new superhero had or used... or needed.

"Are you okay, sweetie?" Rachel asked Sinna, once the mech had left the vicinity and the were more or less alone. "I saw Jilocasin earlier." She didn't think the rest needed to be said. Shadow was well aware of Sinna's hatred for the man and his presence here had to have set her off.

Just at that moment, Viran's voice rang out through the communicators, calling them to the Sentinels' HQ. Just as Rachel was about to suggest they head there right away, Viran called them again and retracted his summons. "That was... strange." Shadow murmured to herself, her brows furrowing in frustration. She was glad he was finally awake, but his erratic behaviour was suspicious. Either he was still suffering some effects from his coma or he had lied about there being nothing to worry about. Whatever the mystery was, it was clear things were not entirely back to normal with the Titans.

Still, they had managed to clear out the shadows attacking the city and save dozens of lives. It was a cause for celebration. Not to mention Rachel only just realized ever since Sinna had woken up and they had abruptly become 'girlfriends', they had yet to spend any time alone or... well, they skipped a few steps in the whole dating thing, to be put it lightly.

She giggled and leaned into Sinna. "You know, you call me 'hun' but we haven't even gone on a date yet." She whispered in the mage's ear. "Since the fighting's over, you can pick me up later." It was quite bold for her to say something like that, but before her red cheeks could show themselves or she started laughing at the idiocy of her words, Shadow cloaked herself and vanished, leaving the place.
Yan was still feeling the rush from the battle and from having absorbed the power of the shadows she had defeated, but when she saw the mech and the girl that exited it, she was quite impressed nonetheless. She was quite aware the girl was disabled and walking thanks to technology, but for someone her age to overcome her disability and build something so magnificent, it was commendable.

Her acolytes were gathering around her and reporting that there were no casualties, so Yan smiled and dismissed them. "I picked up a few... fans." She explained with a shrug to the rest of the girls gathered there before jet black wings appeared on her back, made from her shadow and she took flight. "I'll see you all back at the mansion, I've got to get my things."

It was an hour before Yan made it back to the mansion, flowing through the doors wearing a form-fitting frilly dress. She spotted Mina and immediately felt the other demon had grown stronger too, in the time they had been apart. "Mina! You're back too? You've gotten stronger." Yan greeted the other demoness happily, ignoring the fact that there was someone else there. She immediately leaned in close, a hand on Mina's chin and looked into the girl's eyes.

"You've gotten prettier too." Yan chuckled. "I could just eat you up right here." The last line was a mix of flirty and sinister, since Yan had been devouring rogue demons and augmenting her power as well. She would never lay a finger (not in that regard, at least) on another Titan, but it was just to make sure Mina knew who had been the one cleaning up the small fry. Demons were very territorial and if Mina had heard news of someone hunting her kind in the region, well, it was best to put the girl's worries at ease if she had any.

'Viran, it's so good to see you again!'

Viran smiled as he released Mina from the bear hug. "Sorry about that." He said sheepishly.

''How have you been?' she asked him. 'What happened while I was gone? Oh, and who are those Sentinels you spoke of?'

Viran smiled as Mina hit him with the onslaught of questions. He was glad to see that she was happy to be back. "I've been good all things considered. It turns out that many of my race survived Death and War's purge. A small group of them set up a colony here on earth after our battle against Death and War. I will be going back the the Valkorian compound later tonight for Hisel's...Uh...My Grandfather's funeral." He said as his tone became sad for a moment but than once again became bright and cheery.

"As for the Sentinels...well, they're a group of heroes that are assisting Second City. The truth is we don't know that much about them."

"Everyone else seems to be doing well. Tyran and Steel are both still adjusting to this time period and seem to be doing a lot better than when they first arrived. Dawnfire just returned from...well, I don't really know where she was to be honest." Viran listened intently as she talked about how she had trained with her mother and how much better she felt after doing so. "I'm glad to hear that Mina." He said with a smile on his face.

. 'Let's sit down and talk, okay?'

Viran simply smiled and sat down on the couch as Yan walked into the room. He was about to speak up but decided that it would be impolite to do so. He would simply wait until Yan was done speaking with Mina.

Valkorian Vessel Hope

"Commander. We are entering Terra's atmosphere. Estimated fifteen minutes to landing." One of the Valkorians reported as he looked over at his commander. "So far it appears that no hostile action is being taken against us. No signs of hostile lifeforms and no signs of the destroyers as far as we can tell. And sensors are picking up signs of Valkorian technology on the surface. This must be where the others settled."

"No signs of War and Genocide. That is indeed good news." The hooded figure in the captains chair said quietly. "I haven't seen my father in many, many years. It will be good to see him again. "Transmit a message to the New Beginnings, let them know it appears we have finally found my father's group."

"Tell them we may have found a new home."

Mina smiled widely upon hearing about Viran finding a remainder of his race, but her face become somewhat sad when she heard about Viran's grandfather. 'He was the one back then, right? During the fight with those two Valkorians, he arrived after you passed out...' she said softly. 'I'm sorry Viran.' she placed her hand on his shoulder and squeezed softly.
She took the information about the Sentinels and the other team members silently, still feeling sad about what Viran had been through when she was gone. Viran seemed to be bright again after taking a moment, but it must have been bothering him still. That was probably what he was so confused and worried about back when he spoke to her on the receiver, she figured.

Upon seeing Yan arriving, she seemingly cheered up a bit. Yan was the only other demonic creature she knew, besides her mother, and she took quite a liking to the girl. She could sense many different energy fused with the girl's own, which meant she had been feeding on other demons such as herself. Had Mina been raised as a demon, she would have been bothered by it, but in this case she wasn't.
She giggled lightly when Yan spoke to her in a teasing way and simply hugged the girl, the side of her face pressed into her chest. 'It is good to see you again Yan. I missed you~' she smiled.
'You got stronger too.' she poked her stomach with a light grin. 'How many do you have in there?'

"This is Viran to all Titans. I...was mistaken. I thought I saw something but I was mistaken. I thought I saw something on Prime that had me concerned but I was wrong."

Grant raised his brow beneath his mask as he heard the conversation, stepping into his black 1970 Dodge Challenger with its orange stripes, starting the engine. He activated the Titans communications along with the police band scanner. The car originally had a top speed of 185 miles per hour, but that had been modified to a cool 225. Additionally, the body and windows were missile-proof, with an armory stored in a hidden compartment in the trunk. Finally, the tires were of the sort usually seen on a presidential motorcade: a blowout was next to impossible.

As he sat back, Grant placed both hands on the wheel, and began to drive towards the worst part of town. Though he was back in Second City, he was still a mercenary, and this was his last job before his plan went truly underway. The client was a wealthy man, wealthy enough to afford Grant, anyway. What he wanted was simple. The apartment building he had recently purchased was situated-although the client had not known at the time of the property's purchase-within the territory of a particularly nasty gang of thugs.

The client wanted the entire gang assassinated.

And since Mason's "ghost" had begun helping him, his powers had begun to return. Of course, at the moment he only had his enhanced reflexes, but even now, he could feel his strength resurgent. He wasn't as strong as Viran, but what he had was more than enough, for him at least. He could crush bones with his bare hands, even rip a car door apart or crush a gun barrel if need be, but that was the extent of his enhanced strength. The maximum he could lift was maybe 1000 pounds with effort.

As he crossed an intersection, a familiar car passed him but he shrugged it off and pulled up beside the gang's reputed headquarters. His suspicion about the authenticity of the headquarters was confirmed as he spotted two patrols emblazoned with the gang colors. Each patrol team consisted of two men, both armed with AK-47s. For someone of Grant's reputation, this was like leading cattle to the slaughterhouse.

Grant stepped out and immediately shot one thug in the head while the next noticed his partner fall. He whistled and his buddies rallied against Grant, three to one. They moved in close, hoping that with their superior firepower and numbers, they could subdue this threat.

Their mistake.

Grant grabbed the wrist of the one closest and crushed it. He fell to the ground writhing In pain until his life ended beneath Grant's boot. The next two fell under a single stroke of Grant's blade.
Grant walked away from the burning wreckage of what used to be a gang hideout, flames billowing behind him. Across the street sat the same car he had passed on the way here. Its owner was watching him via binoculars. She looked away once, and the next thing she knew, she was ripped through her window, her seatbelt destroyed, by the throat. She was slammed against the wall, and Grant looked at her with his one eye.

Even as he lifted her, she did nothing. Her face softened when she realized he was missing an eye, lifting her hand to caress the blank portion of his mask. She spoke in Russian, and he recognized whom she was. "<Grant...it's me. K-" "<Ekaterina Dobrova. What are you doing here?>"

Ironsight may have been rendered blind by the fog but he was very much aware of his surroundings, he heard small groups of thuds, like bodies hitting snow, with what enhanced genetics he did have, he could actually see who they were. He knelt down near Shadowhawk's broken body, drawing his bow as he readied himself for a stealth attack. He kept a close watch on the incapacitated and deceased members of his team, quickly turn once he felt a presence behind him. His lethal broadhead arrows were ready to tear into something, the archer lowered his weapon when he saw it was just Spellthief. "I know the protocol...." He said, trying to get back to his task at hand as the mage left.
Hours Later
Shadowhawk, Archangel, and remarkably Darkstar were at rest within the infirmary, unfortunate for the three of them, their injuries sustained meant temporal life support for a while. Auntie Dot monitored their status of health 24/7 in case she needed to make adjustments for them. Ironsight was watching as the AI tend to Darkstar, making notes of the poor cosmic powered girl. Her face was swollen past recognition at this point, it was easy to tell she had numerous fractures, the x-rays hanging up were just a confirmation.Purplish black splotches marked the bruises on her face. neck, and other areas of her body. Looking over to Archangel was a different story, his face remarkably swollen like Darkstar's, the scorch marks left by Prime's attack were revealed to have gone through him, narrowly missing his spine. The fate of his broken wings were still unknown, one was confirmed broken and the other just sprained badly. Shadowhawk's condition wasn't has bad visually but it was bad enough, several cuts were line across his face, Auntie Dot took upon herself to give the Sentinel leader a brain scan, the results were worrying. In his current state, it seemed like he was vulnerable to many mental problems. Having seen enough, Ironsight pressed a button on the side of the window, making the window one way from the inside, making him unable to know what was going on.

All of the Sentinels were sitting in the next room over, sitting on the many couches they had. Bishop looked to be distraught about the whole situation, being down three teammates was news that was going to travel fast. Surge sat with her arms crossed, a different demeanor was displayed now that these events had occurred, after all, Shadowhawk was the one who got her off of the streets in the first place, seeing him wounded in such a critical condition bothered her to say the least. At least for the most part, things were settling down, Prime was locked away beneath their base with no hopes of escaping or powering up again. With the city at ease for the most part, Ironsight felt they'd be fine for a while, Eden was rebuilding. He thought it'd be okay enough for him to visit Second City, maybe he could check out the nightclubs, he heard they had reservations to the point where they'd kick everyone who wasn't on 'the list' out, even if they paid. The archer decided he'd call the girls later, he wasn't going to drag them along just yet. "Dot, I'll be going, lockdown the base when I go.." He said, the little holo-pad rested in his palm as Auntie Dot popped up, a managed smile on her face which was strange for her to have a hint of sadness. "Acknowledged, Ironsight..." She droned, locking up once he left, Once he was dressed in some casual clothing he took the scenic route down to the city, hiking down.

About an hour or two later he made it down the mountain, arriving in the city by bus. He casually walked his way down the sidewalk, unbeknownst to him, he was in a respectfully harsher part of the city. "Hey, ya lost?" Ironsight quickly spun around to see a group of gang members crowding the alleyway he turned into. He smirked a little. "I might be, but then again..." He trailed off as he neared a gang member, slamming his shin into the joint keeping his patella in place, shattering it. "I might have been looking for trouble..." He smirked, assuming a fighting stance. His smile faded when he saw most of the thugs had weapons, mainly lead pips and machetes. His eyes widened in surprise, he didn't take into account that these people probably knew how to hold their own.

A few hours later
Ironsight began to regain his hearing, he could hear laughing, the odd feeling of wind rushing by him made him question how his body was oriented. "What the...?" He groaned, he body patterned with bruises, he opened his eyes to see a group of gangsters in the vicinity. "Hey, he's waking up!" One of them said, Ironsight smiled, showing his blood stained teeth. Once he saw one of them begin to wind up with a baseball bat he instinctively tried to cover his face, once to realize they were chained up too. "Oh sh...." He began to cursed, being cut off by the impact of a baseball bat to his ribs. Soon after the hits just kept on coming, others joined in, bashing lead pipes and anything else that was blunt into his body. The hooting and hollering of gangsters was barely drawing Ironsight's attention as his world was lit up. Each hit caused him to swing a little from the chain he was tied to, the gangsters treating him like a pinata at this point. It got to an extent to where Ironsight just began laughing hysterically, it hurt so bad but it was just numbed to a point, that didn't stop them from trying to shut him up. They stopped for a second, seeming to just back off, Ironsight spat out blood and coughed a little, chuckling slightly. "That's all?" He managed to grin, despite his swollen face, his expression dropped when he saw a gang member quickly running up with silver colored bands around his fingers, brass knuckles "Wait, wait, wait!" He said, completely taken off guard by the whole thing, his world going dark as the brass knuckles made contact.

Ekaterina "Katya" Dobrova looked at the man she had fallen in love with, the man she had never confessed her feelings to, and realized something that nearly broke her heart.

Grant Wilson had changed.

Whether for the better or for the worse remained to be seen, but he had changed. He looked at her through his single eye, and loosened his hold on her throat. "I...came here for you. Why, I can't say, but all I know is I came here for you."

His eye searched hers, and he let her go.

"I'm going to let you go, but if you breathe a word of this, I will kill you myself."

He turned and walked away, getting into his car and heading wherever he needed to go next. In reality, with this last job as a mercenary completed, he was supposed to put his plan into action, but there was something he had to do first, a score he had to settle. Grant took his helm off and ran his fingers over the eyepatch. Ever since he had lost the eye, he had sworn revenge.
----------------------------------Several Months Ago---------------------

Grant laid on the ground, cuts on his face and a bleeding hole where his right eye was. His ribs were bruised and when he spoke, he revealed bloodstained teeth. Beside him, staked to the ground was an arrow, and impaled upon that arrow was his eye. With his remaining right eye, he looked at Aaron Walker and spoke with a conviction. A conviction hardened by hatred, forged by rage.

"You will suffer for this. I promise you, you WILL suffer. When I'm done, I won't kill you. I will make you WISH I had killed you." He bellowed. Blood spat out as he did so, rain pouring down the entire time.
------------------------Collabed with Stryder---------------
Aaron's relentless beatings at the hands of his gang affiliated captors reminded him of something that had happened long ago. A past altercation he had with a man who called himself Mason's true brother, truth be told, he had no idea how deep he and Aaron's blood ran.
---Several Months Ago---
Aaron was rather unscathed from the whole ordeal, for someone claiming to be Mason's kin, he was surprised how little he was hurt. Save for the rounds that dented his suit, he was perfectly fine, he looked down at the pathetic excuse for a brother and for a hero. "You lost sight of what it truly means to be someone's brother, I'll be back for the other one later.."
Ironsight spoke, squatting down as he spoke to the injured hero.

"You will suffer for this. I promise you, you WILL suffer. When I'm done, I won't kill you. I will make you WISH I had killed you."

"I'll be waiting then....the pain will leave you broken by then..." He said as he pulled the arrow that speared Grant's eye out of the ground, waving it around tauntingly. The archer turned into the darkness and vanished, his work was more than finished for now anyway.
---Present Day----
Grant had lain there for hours with the arrow spearing his eye on the ground nearby. Aaron had been taunting it in front of him before vanishing, and Grant could do nothing but lay there, thinking of his revenge. Avenging his brother was still his endgame, but this injustice had to be corrected. A message had to be sent.

And a mission months in the making had to begin.

Yan giggled when Mina poked her stomach and asked about the demons she had absorbed. "That's a secret, but if you want to know..." She leaned in close to the other demoness, smiling seductively as she did. "You'll have to persuade me over dinner and wine." A finger ran down Mina's side as Yan pulled back, before turning straight to the other Titan on the couch as if she had not just openly flirted in front of him.

"Nice to see you too, Viran."
Hikari was on her way to the mansion when one her tablet alerted her to a potential crime in progress. She had hijacked the traffic cameras and such in the town, and they had managed to pick up a few thugs drawing on someone. Hikari cursed as she kicked her bike into full speed and raced towards where the thugs had been spotted. She parked in an alley before hurried changing into her gear, glad that she never wore dresses or skirts when riding.

It didn't take her long to pick up the trail, and locate where the gangsters were. She grimaced when she heard the unmistakable sounds of blows landing on flesh and the grunts of pain from whoever it was they were torturing. Wait. The voice of their victim sounded familiar. Ironsight. She'd cross paths with him only once before, but there was no way she could mistake that voice. She had been keeping tabs on the Sentinels and him especially, as a fellow archer. He had skill with a bow and could handle himself in a fight, so how he was taken hostage, she did not know. Gangsters weren't known for being able to handle themselves that well.

No matter, she needed to get to him, and fast. She didn't want to tip off the enemies inside until she had a good idea of what she was dealing with, so instead of blowing the doors open, Nightingale picked the lock and snuck in, weaving through the dark walkways and using her superior senses to get a feel of the opposition. It seemed most of them were busy with Ironsight and had only melee weapons. That made her job easy.

She picked a nice vantage point from where she could fire without being seen. Ironsight had excellent hearing, but in his current condition Nightingale wondered if he would pick up on the sound of her bow drawn and take the hint. She fired the shot, opting not to use her elemental arrows and going for fear factor over fire power. There was a loud grunt of pain as the brass knuckle going for the boy's face was pierced by her first shot. The rest were quick to panic. She could hear curses as the gangsters forgot about their entertainment for the time being and fanned out away from Ironsight while they tried to find Hikari.

Good luck with that.

The cries were getting louder and more fearful every time Hikari fired and someone fell. She was going for non-lethal shots, but watching one's friends screaming in pain and writhing on the floor from the arrows buried in their shoulders, legs or arms weren't exactly morale boosters. The greater the din they made, the easier it was for her to mask her movement and shots.

There were five left when one of the gangster finally managed to find the light switch and turn it on. It didn't matter - Hikari was high above them on a support beam when she jumped down and hit the light-switcher over the head with her bow, landing gracefully as the rest turned around and faced her. "Brave enough to pick on one lone guy in a group but scared shitless by a girl." Nightingale mocked them, giggling childishly. "You idiots should be ashamed of yourselves."

"Yeah, well let's see how brave you are without that bow of yours." One of them challenged.

"Very well." Nightingale acquiesced to the challenge and placed her bow on her back. "Just as well that the rest of your boys are too busy plucking out those arrows I put in them, wouldn't want them to see you getting beat up by a girl."

It was over in a flash. There were only four of them and they were scared shitless. Not to mention the idiots forgot one thing - she had armour on. Landing her steel boot in the first attacker's groin put him out of commision. A gauntleted fist to the ribs cracked them for the second attacker and remaining two were still trembling they didn't move to back up the first two when they attacked. "You can run or I can send you to the hospital like your friends here. Choose."

The idiots chose wisely. Nightingale walked over to the chained up archer and sighed. "You owe me a date for this one." She joked, as she released him from the chains. "Somewhere fancy and expensive." They did a number on the blind archer, but it seemed there wasn't any damage that was too critical. She helped the battered archer over to some crates and sat him down, before calling for the police.

"Is your team nearby? You don't look like you're in much condition to go anywhere." It was a stretch, and the few of the Titans were sure they'd trust the Sentinels enough to have them near the mansion or to know who the Titans were in real life. Still, she didn't want to leave the guy there and just disappear. "You could crash at my place, if you need to... unless you're okay with the hospital."

Ironsight was still awake for the most part, slightly dazed from the initial hit by the brass knuckles, he braced himself as best as he could. He was actually pretty amazed to see that an object had hit and embedded itself into the hand of his attacker. Upon closer inspection he saw that it was an arrow in the man's hand, happily drawing warm blood from his hand. He furrowed his swollen brows as if to concentrate on the object, he just had to be sure he wasn't going crazy, nope, that was definitely an arrow. The real question for him was whose arrow was it, he knew for a fact that it wasn't one of his and Spellthief probably wouldn't have been this violent, as much as he would have enjoyed that anyway.

To his fortune, the onslaught finally stopped thanks to whoever it was that was nice enough to save him from his predicament. By the moment more of the gang members fell, each of them with a superficial wound in them it sounded like, they were hurt for sure but they'd live. He wasn't bothered by the lights being off, his ears were just as good as any sight was. Once the lights came back on he scanned the room, trying to peer out of his swollen eyes. There was no way he'd see perfectly so he shut his eyes, relying on his ears, his ears immediately picked up a feminine voice. He was a little surprised by that, just that fact that a female had come to his rescue and to add to that , she was an archer by the looks of it.

Ironsight tilted his head to the sound of a pop followed by a thud and no noise, he already knew what had just happened there. He heard a muffled crack, that had be a bone of some sort, likely somewhere in the midsection, the more she fought, the more he wondered who this girl was. Ironsight raised his swollen brow at the female, smirking a little bit, as best as he could anyway. "Yeah? How about a nightclub while I'm ahead?" He said to her in response, bringing his hands to the concrete beneath him to catch himself before getting to his feet. "My team? Wait how do you-?" He paused, slightly confused as to how she knew anything about him, still though, he wasn't going to question it yet. "No, they aren't..." He said to her in a collected tone as he wiped his bloody and bruised face, wincing a little. At some point his minor healing factor would kick in, hopefully anyway, it was always tricky that way. He smirked a little bit when he heard her offer, telling him he could stay at her place if he wanted. "First a date and now you want me to come over, you sure we aren't dating already?" He smirked, pressing a gentle hand against his slowly healing face, at least he knew his face wouldn't be swollen forever, it'd take a few hours but it would go away. "Well what are we waiting for miss?" He asked, tearing an arrow out of a thug as he walked over him, examining her arrows. "Nice style.." He said to himself as he walked toward the exit of the building, slightly limping.

"Nice to see you too, Viran."

Viran smiled although it was a forced smile. For reasons he didn't understand...he was angry for a moment. A very unfamiliar emotion was forcing it's way to the surface and he didn't know how to deal with it other then to leave.

"It's...Uh...nice to see you as well, Yan." He said with the same forced smile as he turned to look at Mina. "I apologize but I should be going. If you wish to attend the celebration of Hisel's life it will be at the Valkorian compound for the next three days, feel free to attend...If you wish to attend I mean."

Viran smiled politely at the two women and headed towards the medical bay where Hisel's body had been wrapped in cloth and gently picked up the still form of his Grandfather and exited the mansion. It was only after he left the building that he let the forced smile vanish from his face. It was replaced by a look of confusion and sadness..

After a short walk he could hear the sound of laughter and song through the forest and after a few more minutes of walking he arrived at the compound. He could see groups upon groups of Valkorians laughing and talking amongst themselves but that stopped as he approached with Hisel's body. Rikelis approached him and gently took the body in his arms.

"Talk with the others, Viran. Lean more about your Grandfather and his life and the amazing things he accomplished." Viran smiled and nodded once again as he approached a group near a table filled with food.

"Please, Tell me about my Grandfather." He said quietly.

Valkorian vessel Hope and Valkorian Vessel New Beginnings

"Approaching the settlement now, commander. It appears that some sort of celebration is going on."

The commander paused for a moment. "Is there any sign of damage in the immediate area? This could be a funeral and they are celebrating the life of the deceased."

"It looks as if there is damage to the nearby city. And a building near the settlement has a rather large hole in it's side. It appears that repairs are under way in the city."

"Tell the New Beginnings to approach the settlement. We're going to investigate this building. Perhaps they know what has happened recently. Once we are finished we will rejoin the others at the settlement."

"Setting course now."

The Valkorian vessel slowly turned around and headed for the Titan's mansion. The Vessel wasn't armed. They were showing no hostile actions but they did plan on landing as close to the mansion as they could. She needed to know what had happened.

Mina giggled a bit. 'Sorry Yan, no can do.' she smiled a bit.
Mina knew the girl was doing what she had learned to be "flirting". It was pretty recognizable, Mason had done the same when they had met.
Although Mina was sure the demon girl was capable of being serious in this sort of situation, for her this was all fun and games, a bit of playfulness, which was why she looked up confused when Viran's emotions spiked dangerously.
Did he think she was being serious? Perhaps he thought of it of disrespectful towards Mason's memory?
She was so caught up in reading his sudden spike that he had already left when she wanted to answer.
She pouted lightly at Yan. 'Viran isn't happy, I'm gonna go to his grandfather's funeral to try and cheer him up.' she said as she got up.
She gave the demon girl one last hug, proclaiming she would see her later, before vanishing in a flash, reapearing near Viran's location.
She was amazed at the amount of other Valkorians, but immediately picked out Viran and waved. 'Viran! I came!' she called, walking over.
'This is so grand, I didn't expect it.' she smiled at him while she looked around a bit.

'Viran! I came!' she called, walking over. This is so grand, I didn't expect it."

Viran turned away from the group of Valkorians he was talking to and smiled at Mina. One of the other Valkorians turned and looked at Mina and then back at Viran and his eyes widened in surprise before he playfully elbowed Viran.

"Viran! You didn't tell us you had a mate!"

Viran's face turned a very bright red color as he tried to stammer out a reply. "I...Uh...She..." He managed to stammer as the other Valkorians gathered around him and looked at Mina curiously and then turned to look back at Viran. Most of them laughed and slapped him playfully on the back while another one spoke in low hushed tones to him for a brief moment.

Viran's face took on an even brighter shade of red. "I...I...I..." He stammered again as he tried to speak normally. Rikelis approached Mina and smiled. "It is good to meet you. I am Rikelis. Second in command to Hisel and leader of this colony." He turned his head to look at Viran and smiled.

"His face is red enough that it looks almost like what your people call...what's the word again? "To-ma-to?" He said with a laugh.

Mina looked at the surrounding Valkorians with an interested look in her eyes.
'Wow, there's so many.' she smiled.
Her eyes went towards Viran when she heard the other valkorian speak of her and she had a thoughtful look in her eyes. The word "mate" seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't remember what it meant.
The reaction it got from Viran was quite amusing though, he became a bright red and couldn't speak right anymore. It caused Mina to giggle and look around as hushed whispers sounded through the crowd and Viran became even more red.

She turned to look at the person that spoke to her and bowed her head lightly as he introduced herself. 'My name is Mina. Viran is a dear friend of mine, for quite some years now. I also met his grandfather pnes, but it was very short. My condolences.' she said.
She looked at Viran and smiled. 'Indeed it is.'

'My name is Mina. Viran is a dear friend of mine, for quite some years now. I also met his grandfather pnes, but it was very short. My condolences.'

Rikelis smiled sadly. "It's good to know that he has friends on this world. Hisel always wondered what his life would be like after he sent away from the Home-world. He always wanted to meet Viran. All those years we traveled through space he could never talk about anything else about how he would tell Viran all about his heritage and how he is the hope of our race. It truly is sad that Hisel couldn't spend much time with him."

'Indeed it is.'

Rikelis laughed as he continued to observe Viran before looking back at Mina. "So...what is your relationship with Viran? Is he your mate?" He asked curiously as a Valkorian ran up to him. "Rikelis. We've detected a ship heading for the compound. It will be here in twenty minutes. Scans are detecting Valkorian language and Valkorian engine emissions coming from the vessel. A second vessel is approaching the Titan's mansion."

"Are their weapons armed?" Rikelis asked

"No. No signs of any weapons. They could be more refugees."

"Have you identified the vessels?"

"The Hope and New Beginnings. Our records indicate they escaped the home-world shortly before the final attack. Didn't Hisel talk about the Hope a few times aboard during our travels?"

Rikelis nodded slowly. "Yes...He did. But for the life of me I can't remember exactly what he said about them. It could be they were separated from us during the final attack. I doubt they wish to cause problems. When they arrive, show them the same hospitality that we we're shown. Welcome them with open arms." He said.as he turned back to look at Mina.

"Please enjoy yourself. I will return shortly."

Mina looked at Viran sadly with a faint nod at Rikelis after hearing the story of Viran's grandfather.
It was a truly sad tale, so much so that Mina understood it immediately, unlike normally.
She was happy the Valkorian could be cheerful in this situation, it would help lift Viran's spirit.

She looked at Rikelis when he asked her about her relationship with Viran. Again that word, "mate", she still couldn't pinpoint where she had heard it.
After a moment though, the thought came to her and her normally pale cheeks became a tad rosy. They meant partner, of course! How could she have forgotten that word.
She was about to answer the Valkorian and explain Viran wasn't her mate, when he was approached by another Valkorian.
She simply nodded when Rikelis spoke to her again, a bit flustered, but too embarrassed to explain the situation for now.
'Thank you...' she murmured and moved toward Viran hastily.

"You wish I was that easy." Nightingale answered coyly. "Though maybe that's why you're inviting me to a nightclub? I don't get drunk, sorry to disappoint you." Ironsight didn't seem to know who she was, which was to her benefit. Her mask distorted her voice, but she wasn't sure how well it would trick a blind superhero. She sat herself down on a crate opposite him and crossed her legs gingerly. It was awkward talking to a bruised guy with half his clothes torn by the beating and her in her armour, but it would have to do. She didn't know if she trusted him enough to let him know who she was yet.

"Well, care to explain what you're doing here without your team?" She asked reaching behind her to find her first aid pouch. She rarely needed it with her accelerated healing, but it was always good to be prepared. Especially if she didn't want to bleed everywhere she went until her wounds closed whenever she took a hit. She found a roll of bandages and tossed them into Ironsight's lap along with a bag of ice. "I'd help you but some people take issue with having a girl tend to their wounds or getting help."

Ironsight scoffed a bit chuckling in reaction to her words, he found it a little funny not that he'd laugh though. "Glad to hear you're not." He retorted with a smirk, his face beginning to quicken its healing process, small cuts closing up. "Not at all, I just needed people to tag along. What's the point in going in alone?" He said with a smile, he honestly had no idea who this girl was but he did know she was a hero, possibly a Titan he knew how the Sentinel's status with the Titans was but it wasn't like a minor interaction would matter. "I have to say, you have some pretty handy skills with a bow, probably not better than..." He paused, maybe he was talking too much about who he was for a moment, he was sure she had an idea of who he was though so why stop letting out information she may have already known? "Uh....Green Arrow or Speedy but good enough, he said, at least making an attempt to throw her off his trail but it was probably too late, he already told her he had a team but did she really know who he was teamed with?

"Explain?" He made a face as if to say that it was information he couldn't let out, not to just her alone anyway. "Here isn't the best place to talk about that..." He said, evading the question for now, with he may have been blind but he did have a special way of seeing, something he wouldn't delve into unless asked directly though. The female seemed to be going through something, his senses were more than helpful at times, allowing him to focus on the objects she tossed at him individually like looking in time delay, bandages which he allowed to just land in his lap. As soon as the ice made contact with his lap, Ironsight exhaled sharply in reaction to the coldness. of it. "Thanks..." He said in a rather nonchalant manner, placing the bag of ice on the side of his face, sighing and cringing a bit. "I don't see why. I wouldn't have an issue with it." He said, the cold seeming to seep into his injuries, he was more than grateful, knowing he'd heal a little bit faster. "So what are you exactly anyway?" He asked, breaking silence.

"Returns of the Day or Jinx Is Back!"

A sleek two seat hyper car moves through highway traffic weaving a path that allows it swift passage. It is an unusual purple color with black chrome wheels and heavily tinted windows.. It's one of those cars most people only ever get to see on TV or in a movie and likely costs a small fortune just to maintenance.
It's driver is a mystery due to the window tint but brief silhouettes of them reveal a decidedly feminine shape.

The machine's engine growls like it's annoyed at being restrained in the company of the slower vehicles around it. From the car also comes the distinctive thump of club music played over one of those annoyingly loud bass heavy systems so popular now.

It exceeds the posted speed limit without a care as if it were special and yet it causes no accident in it's wake as it glides along with impunity.

It finally drifts off the highway and up an off ramp barely slowing as it approaches a red light which shifts to green two seconds before it slides onto the surface road. Then exceeding the two lane surface road's speed limit by 40mph it passes a police car just as the officer is looking the other way as he oggles two female joggers.

Slowing the purple beast turns onto another road a does a slow glide as it's two tinted windows lose their tint as if by magic. It's driver draws stares from all she passes and it isn't the car that causes them to gawk but her silvery gray skinktone and hair so pink it seems to glow with a light of it's own

Her sunglasses are large and have pink rose tinted lenses but they do nothing to hide their wearer's identity.

"What's she doing here?
I thought she'd look older by now.
There goes the values and OMG!" Follow her slow progress towards the Titan's new HQ

She turns into the drive towards the manson and a small glitch snaps open the gates as the security system mistakes her for a known vehicle and allows her entry.

She drifts up before the front door of the HQ and then the gullwing door opens allowing her to exit..

It is Jinx the Bad Karma girl who'd left sometime back and no one has known where she'd disappeared to, not that many noticed. She seems a little taller now and her skintone has changed from a pale white to a powdery silver and her hair is in the shape of horns just as her mom wore her's when she was a member of the Titans

"In the Immortal words of Russell Casse; Hello Boys, I'm Back!" she says with a giggles as she removes her sunglasses and waits to see who comes out first if at all

"Real smooth, genius." Hikari teased at Ironsight's near slip up and revealing who he was. "It's not like it's not obvious already, I've been keeping tabs on the Sentinels ever since you guys showed up. You must be Ironsight." Well, if he didn't mind her tagging along and it seemed the whole Sentinel vs Titans thing wasn't going to be an issue, at least for tonight, Nightingale was willing to play nice. Especially since the guy in front of her didn't look too bad, even with bruises and cuts all over his face.

Since he didn't object to her help, Hikari moved over and helped him dress his wounds. "You got your gear? I don't see how you're entering a nightclub incognito with your face all beat up." She asked, wondering if the Titans would object to her lending her aid to a Sentinel. Most of they would probably understand. She tenderly sterilized the wounds and covered them up in bandages, letting the Sentinel apply the ice himself to wherever the pain was the worst. Though she tried not enjoy the process, she was still a girl and well, it was hard not to enjoy feeling the hard muscle of a guy's body like that. Even with that body was wincing and flinching every time she applied the antiseptic.

"I'm surprised you're okay with letting a girl cop a feel." She joked as she secured the bandage in place and completed her treatment of his wounds. "And I haven't even introduced myself yet. I'm Nightingale, with the Teen Titans." She bowed like a lady as if she were at court or something.

She took a look around and it seemed like the paralysing agent she coated her arrows with was doing its work. "I'll make a call to the police and they can round up these goons." She began, trying to broach the subject of their partnership for the evening gently. "And you still owe me dinner, so I'm tagging along to this nightclub... though I'm a little disappointed that's all you're willing to spend on a girl. It's not like they serve great food."
