Growing up in the jungle is hard. or so everyone thinks. what most people don't realize is that it isn't that hard when you lice in Norann. Norann is full of rich people who couldn't handle the daily annoyances of poor people. It is in Norann that Zmerr grew up. However, he never felt like he belonged there. His father left when he was young and his mother never payed much attention to him. his only "friend" was his cousin, Youmme. Really, she was no better than any of the other kids. She always played tricks on him and made fun of him for his size. Being an Asura (because i'm bad at originality, i borrowed from Guild Wars), he was naturally small, just like the others. But he was particularly small. Even though he hated Youmme's teasing, she was the only one that would talk to him.
Zmerr had gotten used to Youmme's teasing. He often ignored it. But, one day, she betrayed him in a way he'll never forget. She abandoned him in the darkest part of the jungle. He wandered for a long time, but eventually found his way out. upon exited the jungle, he saw the largest and most ornate gate he had ever seen! He walked in, hoping the owners would have a room for him to spend the night. when he walked in, he realized it was a school.
Zmerr had made arrangements with the board that he'd work for a place to stay. Now he is cleaning and cooking for the students of this prestigious school. he wishes he had magical talent, but only find himself capable of building and fixing weapons and many other contraptions. Some of his inventions can even be seen around the school!
