As Hamut stood there looking at Savayna and Emiri, he smiled at what Emiri had said. Surely she didn’t think that he didn’t know who she was. He was just being a gentleman about it. “Oh come now, surely you don’t think I’m stupid, dear Emlia Rianna Inabi? I mean, you are the daughter of Lord Andre Inabi and Lady Justine Inabi nee Rosenburg, are you not?” Hamut said, clearly knowing who Emiri is and who she comes from. He would then turn his attention to Savayna. “Oh, you traitorous whore. First you dishonor my grandson by failing him and then you go with the likes of the disgraced prince. Truly you are a pest that must be dealt with.” He said barking to Savayna.

All Savayna could do was stay there still watching and listening to every word he spoke. She wanted her own mouth to form words and release them with her voice, but they wouldn’t come out, but she was able to force just a few out. “…we need to leave..now…” She said, tugging towards Emiri, obviously scared. Savayna was not acting like her usual self.
As the trio would make their way to the Gran Kiltias, Nadeline would stop, and look to Jaakuna. She would say that for this to work, he would need to revert back to the days where he was still of royalty and not, well like how he is now. Though Jaakuna didn’t want to, he knew it would be for the best to get this meeting over and done with. “Yeah, I hear ya. Let’s just get it done with.” He said, expressing his displeasure for this current situation.

As they would find themselves in front of the Gran Kiltias, Anastasis. Jaakuna, Wesley, and Nadeline all bowed and Anastasis would allow them to rise up. As soon as they rise, he would speak. “You three have come far. Speak now.”
Grant was not a stupid man and he seemed to be able to control himself in such a dire situation. Levi is really impressed with this man. Though, she does think he was stupid to even come to Archadia in the first place. As he would speak, though, she would listen intently and as she would do that, his words were oozing with brilliance, yet foolishness. He would then go on and make a comment on how Levi surely knew about everything. She would laugh slightly. “You caught me, dear prince. I have eyes and ears all over the Archadian Empire, as is my job to know everything. My subordinates, however, don’t just range in the Archadian Empire. I have those that serve me residing in Dalmasca, and even in your home of Rozarria. I believe one of mine actually went to your land personally. Does the name Michelangelo Von Sicarius ring a bell?”

At this point, Emiri was shocked. He knew her real name, even her parents, but how? No, that wasn't important, the next words he uttered were. She recognized that tone, and his intention. Withdrawing her sword, she stepped in front of Savayna, blade at the ready. He had mentioned it before--they were not going to get away easily, and she highly doubted at this point he was going to let them go anyway. Was he alone? Or were his forces nearby? They needed to get out of here, that much was for certain. But she couldn't think straight, she just didn't know what to do. If he was anything like Ixion, he was strong, but for some reason, she knew he was much stronger then him. They didn't stand a chance, especially with Savayna in her state.

Holding her hand out, a clock appeared beneath Hamut. "Stop!" She casted her spell, and without even seeing if it worked or not, she grabbed Savayna's arm, running back down the path and pulling the blonde along.
As Nadeline rose, she took in a deep breath, though she motioned to Wesley. "We have come bearing the Sword of Kings, Great One. We wish to destroy the Dusk Shard, to rid the world of this power that belongs only with the gods. We managed to destroy the Dawn Shard...but nearly lost someone near and dear to us as a result." She spoke, explaining the situation. "Were it not for a miracle, he would not be with us now. We come to you, pleading for any wisdom to use the Sword of Kings, to destroy the Dusk Shard before it falls into the wrong hands."
Grant shrugged again, eyeing Levi curiously. He wasn't too sure where this was going. Of course he remembered Michel, their ride together was not one he would forget so easily. "Ah, yes, he was...an interesting fellow." He couldn't help but chuckle slightly, though this was purely because of the awkwardness the two share and nothing more. He then cleared his throat. "But pray tell what an enemy prince has to do with any of this, m'lady?"

Hamut was amused to say the least. He admired the effort Emiri gave. Being able to cast a Stop spell and run away in the same motion took true talents for Time Magick. Truly, this girl lived up to her reputation and of the rumor. However, as good as she might be, she just wasn’t strong enough to cast a spell to stop Hamut for even the slightest bit of a single second. Hamut would prove that as he would follow the two girls as they would start to run down the path, but with a single wave of his right arm, firaga trailed in the air, and blocked their path. “Please don’t offend me, dear Emilia. I think we can really get along.” Hamut said.

Savayna’s fear was placed on the back burner. She would notice Hamut behind them and without even thinking, she took her sword, glided into the air, with her ice magic oozing from her Ice Queen sword and she would slice downward, Blizzaga soaring through the air in a wind-like form. Hamut smiled. He put his right arm up, extending his fingers and the ice, after a few seconds, would be reduced to mere water and there wouldn’t be so much as a bit of frostbite on Hamut’s hand.

“Nice try, whore.” He said as the same hand that had stopped the ice would glow with dark purple and black. As it would get stronger, Humut spoke. “Gravity!” As he said that, a pulling force would do as such to Savayna. She would be drawn to Hamut, who would take his other hand, wrap it in the spell bioara and as he would punch her square dead in the gut, her body flashed green and she would be sent back ten feet. Her body would first be airborne, but as her body would come to the ground, she would land back first and flip to her stomach, body oozing with the green poison. Her armor was also severely cracked as well as a very bad cracked ribcage.

As Savayna laid out cold, Hamus smirked. “Now, Emilia, shall we talk? I‘m sure you‘re curious as to how I know so much about you.” Hamut said very politely.
As the trio were in front of Gran Kiltias Anastasis, Nadeline would be the one to speak first and boy did she sound like a real pro. It was no wonder she was always saying that she was a real lady. She knew how to work the old geezer in front of them. Jaakuna AND Wesley were both impressed with her. She would just speak about how they want to learn how to use the Sword of Kings properly and how they used it was not the proper way. Jaakuna would look down briefly until Wesley would nudge him to look straight. Jaakuna did so, but he still felt like he was the whole reason that they had to come here to Mount Bur Omisace. His foolishness and recklessness was the sole reason they found themselves in this position.

The Gran Kiltias listened to Nadeline, and thus as he did, he spoke, eyes closed and all, voice echoed through their ears. “Nadeline of Rozarria, Jackson of Archadia, Wesley of Dalmasca — you three seek knowledge. You three wish for wisdom about the Sword of Kings, once given to the Dynast-King himself. And yet, you used it before in foolishness.” The Gran Kiltias spoke, his voice echoing through

It was safe to say that Jaakuna wasn’t all thrilled with the Gran Kiltias’ answer, but who can blame him? Jaakuna was indeed foolish in thinking he could cut Nethicite without knowing how to use the Sword itself properly.

The Gran Kiltias spoke again. “Tell me my children, among you three, who is it the one that tried to cut the Dawn Shard?” He said.

Jaakuna shamefully spoke. “It was I, your Excellency“ Jaakuna said head down.

“Raise your head son.” Anastasis spoke.

Jaakuna‘s head rose from it‘s downward position. The Gran Kiltias spoke again. “You, Jackson of House Darcone, heir to the Archadian throne, took a huge risk, this I saw in my dreams.” He spoke.

Jaakuna couldn‘t help but feel even worse about himself at this moment. He knew what he did caused his friends and Emiri grief. He caused al of them so much pain and for what? Haste in his actions just to rid the world of the Nethicite. “Yes, your Excellency.” Jaakuna said.

“You made a grave error. You were meant not to use the Sword of Kings. Only with the blood of Raithwall would the Sword of Kings activate. Therein lies the true power and proper way of the Sword of Kings.” the Gran Kiltias spoke, reveling the true nature and proper usage of the Sword of Kings.

Wesley couldn’t believe it. He didn’t know that. How was he supposed to? It’s not like there were any instructions to be had. Wesley now understood now. “I thank you, Gran Kiltias Anastasis.” He said bowing.

“I offer you this last piece of wisdom: Do not haste your actions just for results; think carefully and iron out every detail, and you will---” Right when the Gran Kiltias was about to finish, he stopped. He sensed trouble was brewing just outside of the Hall of Light.

And then screams would be heard. Acolytes would rush into the Hall of Light, but they would be too slow. Flashes of gold and white would be seen by them and only blood followed them. They have been murdered — all seven of them — and in just a few seconds. Their bodies next to each other all in bloody positions. Pools upon pools of blood were present where they laid. The gold and white flash was done and in front of the trio and the Gran Kiltias was a familiar face. “Nice to see you guys again.” There, in front of them as the trio turned around, Ixion was back.
As Levi listened on what Grant was saying, she was amused and just listened to everything, but she was intrigued why he was so on edge. “Please, Prince Grant, I wish to be your ally. I believe we can help each other.” She said smiling to the prince. “should you allow it, I think we can work towards our common goals.” She continued, “Unlike that doofus Vincent, I have no loyalties but my own self, and I believe we can help each other. I can get you out of here and help you claim the Rozarrian Throne for yourself and I only ask for a favor at any given moment I should ask. It’s a simple, singular favor and you would be free. All need you do is say yes.” She offered to him.

As the Firaga blocked their path, Emiri knew this was not going to be easy. As she turned, however, she saw Savayna had gone to attack. Before she could stop her, Hamut had already reduced her magic to nothing. She was in disbelief as the same Blizzaga that had left a bloody mess just moments ago was reduced to nothing but a trail of water. As she saw he prepared a counter, she tried to warn Savayna, but it was too late: she was pulled to him, then easily tossed aside like a rag doll. Somehow he had combined two magicks. His power was even greater than she could have imagined, and she knew there was no way she would be able to take him, much less run from him. She watched Savayna's unconscious body hit the ground, letting out a rather horrified gasp.

Hamut had turned his attention to her. She didn't know what to do. She was not going to leave Savayna, but she doubted she was able to reach her. She glared at Hamut, refusing to show any sign of fear--refusing to show any weakness, for that matter. But he knew about her power, he knew they were going to be there, and they had walked right into his trap. They completely fell for it, and now more then ever she found herself wishing they were all together. "I suppose...But what do you really want?" She asked, still gripping her sword tightly.
In their haste in wanting to destroy the shard, they had used the sword improperly. For once, though, Nadeline felt that she too shared the blame. She had wanted to destroy the Dawn Shard. She gave Jaakuna an apologetic look, and was grateful he listened to her. They may have their differences but at the very least he knew that this was important. Maybe he was starting to pick up some of Emiri's good habits after all. She smiled to herself at this, though she listened intently at the man's words, only to blink in surprise when he stopped.

As the trio turned, they were greeted with a very familiar scene. Bodies scattered around, and blood everywhere, with Ixion at the center of it once again. Nadeline gasped, covering her mouth with both hands at the bloody aftermath of Ixion's show of power. Was he mad? This was a sacred place, free of all nations, home to those who sought out refuge. Her horror, however, quickly turned into something that could only be called an inferno's fury. "How...how dare you! You monster!" She screamed at him, clearly angry. "Have you no shame, desecrating this holy place?!"
He had to admit, the woman was interesting. But really, what could she gain from all of this? Grant was well aware of her so called loyalty, her stories had even reached Rozarria. Who was to say that he wouldn't find himself at the end of her blade at some point? The man raised an eyebrow at Levi, crossing his arms. "Come now...what I really want to know is what you have to gain from this." He stated with a small frown. "Honestly, I'm already going to be tried for treason, so that much doesn't matter. Getting the throne from my sister is...something I have considered, but everything you have said, my dear, has benefited me and me only. Even if you asked for your favor at any given time, what could possibly be good enough to warrant this?"

If there was one thing that Hamut was going to admit about this girl, it was that she definitely always was thinking about the next step. Even as she would agree to speak to him — not like she had any choice — she was gripping her sword. Truly, Jackson had picked a fine woman.

“Listen Emilia, contrary to what you might believe, I am not your enemy. You see, I detested my son — Vincent’s and Jackson, I mean Jaakuna’s father — Simon. He was an arrogant fool who deserved the fate he was dealt. I weep for my country’s future at the moment, cause you see it’s ran by another arrogant fool, Jackson’s brother Vincent. He’s just like my son. That’s why, coming to you is what I must do. I know you’re running away from your fiance, Grant Marshall of House Roselia and you’re frolicking with my grandson, Jackson. I support you in that endeavor and I do hope you consider me as an ally. I actually want you and your friends to be successful. It would mean a great deal to me to see you and my grandson marry and end wars between Archadia and Rozarria, but in order for you two to do that, you must prove yourselves to everyone else. That is why I come to you today.” He said, clearing his throat.

“I offer you this advice: My grandson is fragile underneath all of that tough guy exterior, and even though he and I don’t see eye-to-eye, I love my grandson dearly. Treat him with love and kindness and he will show you a whole new world, cause you see Jackson’s true strength lies within the love he feels for that certain special someone.“ He would say as he would walk pass Emiri. Walking past her, he stops. “I thought you should know two things. First off, your so-called fiancé is currently held prisoner by Vincent. And second, my other grandson, Isaiah — or you might know him as the Forth Judge Magister of the Imperial Court, Ixion — is currently on his way to Mount Bur-Omsace. I do apologize for the complications between us. I do bid you farewell, Emilia Rianna Inabi. It was a pleasure to meet the woman who has my Grandson Jackson’s heart.” He said departing and clearing the fire that blocked Emiri beforehand. Hamut would disappear into flames and darkness.
Levi was amused that the prince actually thought that she wanted anything specific in return. “Please prince, don’t think I wish to have anything dire. I merely wish to see my investments do well. I only ask that a favor be granted to me, of any scale at any given moment I request it. Give me this, Prince Grant, and I will secure you the throne of Rozarria personally Do we have a deal?” She said standing up, walking over to Grant and reaching out her right hand.
Ixion was pretty happy to see his dear cousin again, but perhaps under the circumstances, it wasn’t under good terms. Of course, him brutally slaying seven Acolytes wasn’t looking good for him either. Ixion just was following orders. He knew that much. It wasn’t like he had any problem, but Ixion definitely had better things to do. Even now, he wished it didn’t have to resort to this.

“How dare I? I dare cause I can.” He said laughing.

While he was laughing, Wesley would look to Ixion. “Judge Magister Isaiah Ixion Darcone, I hereby place you under arrest for the murder of King Jonathan Rufus Dalamasca.” Wesley said drawing his Platinum Sword and pointing it at Ixion.

Ixion smiled. “Oh how cute. You actually think you can beat me.” He laughed.

Wesley wouldn’t let him escape this time. He was stronger than before and he had a cool head, as did Jaakuna. This time around, Jaakuna would let Wesley lead and he would follow. Wesley would go after Ixion at full charge. His sword raised up, radiating with a white, glimmering light. With a single swing, Holyaga spot out in the form of a wave of pure white light. Ixion would raise his sword, but it didn’t block all of it. Ixion got hit by some of it and was shot back a bit. Jaakuna would go in with his Blood Sword and it tracing with Firaga, he would also swing it as he jumped over Wesley and out shot fire. Ixion, in response, would hold out his hand, and out shot Thundaja and the two forces collided, exploding due to the two forces being both one in the same and completely different. All three men were sent flying in opposite directions. Jaakuna and Wesley were shot one way(towards the Kiltias and Nadeline) and Ixion was shot back more the way he came.

Jaakuna and Wesley landed on their feet, but they still felt the blunt force of the explosion of red, orange, gold, and white. “Damn, he’s still stronger than all of us.” Jaakuna said.

Nadeline glared at Ixion, truly furious, though stood back from the clash, fearing for the Gran Kiltas' safety. She threw up a Shell to protect them from the blast, though once the other two came back this way, she held out her hand. "Bravery!" She called out, enhancing each of their blades. "Faith!" Her own sword was enhanced, albeit with magical properties. She then pointed her sword at Ixion, a white glyph appearing. "Holy!"
Grant let out a long sigh. He really, really didn't trust the woman, not even for a second. He vaguely recalled a story of a serpent tempting someone, who was secretly the devil in disguise. He knew he would come to regret this, but for now, it was better then rotting away in some dungeon for who knows how long. Grant looked at her, then her hand, then closed his eyes. Well, what was the worst that could happen? Him dying? With much reluctance, Grant stood up as well, eyeing Levi. "You only live once. May as well go out with a bang." He murmured, though he did hesitate. "So be it, then." He shook her hand.
She took it back. Now Emiri was in complete shock. Never mind that she expected him to rip her head off, no, the fact that Hamut was on their side was too much. She couldn't believe it, and even as he walked past her, she froze for a moment, half expecting him to draw his weapon on her. But it never came. No, he stopped moving. Why? She gasped, seeing everything frozen around her, and in the next moment, it resumed, and Hamut left in a flurry of darkness and flames. The brunette slumped to the ground, her heart beating something fierce. Everything was happening too fast, she felt like she was going to pass out at any moment. Still, she remembered his words: Ixion was attacking the group at Mt. Bur Omisace.

Forcing herself to stand, Emiri rushed to the fallen general, dropping down next to her. She looked at her hands and placed them on Savayna. If her power was really back, then this should not be a problem. She took in a breath, concentrating on Savayna, and closed her eyes. Slowly, her wounds were healed, the poison disappearing, and even her armor returned to its previous state. She opened her eyes, the world around her spinning. She put a hand on the ground to prevent herself from falling over. It seemed it was back, but she was badly out of practice, and it took much more out of her then usual. There wasn't any time, however, she needed to make sure Savayna was alright. "Savayna, Savayna, can you hear me?" She asked as she gently shook her.

Wesley and Jaakuna both felt the power of their blades increasing as Nadeline had graced both of them with Bravery. Ixion would smirk as he would smirk as he saw a bright light emanating from her blade and shooting up to him. With a hand outward, Ixion shot out several bolts of gold lightning that would interlock with each other, combine, and make a shield of lightning. The Holy spell would deflect off of it, and head back right for Nadeline. Wesley, knowing that the light was coming for Nadeline, he put his shield up, and it deflected the light and shot it up into the ceiling, shooting a hole through it, and dirk crumbling from that very hole to the ground.

As Jaakuna, Wesley, and Nadeline stood facing Ixion, the latter person would raise his blade as high as he could as he held it with both hands. Thunder and Lightning Magick began to overtake his sword as it began to glow white and gold and yellow. Soon enough the blade itself became a crackling entity of Thundaja. Each swing would produce that very spell. Ixion held the sword downward and when it would touch the ground, instantly that very spot became nothing. Ixion would then smile and look to Wesley and Jaakuna. He would use his speed to rush to them and the two would defend.

Jaakuna took his blood sword, and as he would embrace the mist, his magickal power would increase. Using the Fire brand of magick, Jaakuna was able to surround his sword in red hot flames and as the attack from Ixion would come, he would raise his sword up for defending. As for Wesley, his sword would pulse with mist, slowing oozing out the greenness that it has. By embracing his form of Magick, the blade became overwhelmed with the spell of Holy. By being able to even surround his shield with it, Wesley now had holy around his sword and shield, ready for whatever was to come.

Ixion came, swinging his sword as hard and fast as he could in a vertical motion, massive amounts of thunder magick was released, covering the area with cracking lightning. The force of it was so vast that not even Jaakuna and Weskey could fend off as they would try their best by swinging their own swords of holy and firaga. The Thundaja took it over and pretty much wiped them out(not really though). It would get to the point that Nadeline would also be laid out. It would be revealed, that after the cracking had stopped, the trio were knocked out and Ixion was face-to-face to the Gran Kiltias. He would put away his sword. “Now we can talk old man.” Ixion said smiling
Levi was indeed happy that Grant decided to take a leap of faith in trusting her; or at least agreeing to help her. It was not like there wasn’t something in it for him. He would be guaranteed the throne of his homeland and he would only have to grant Levi a favor at any given moment in the future that she wishes it to be. Sure, to anybody else that would seem like a trap just waiting to spring itself on oneself, but Grant seemed to not care at the moment, as he said, one only lives once. She thought that was a good thing to say, even now as they would shake hands. “I look forward to our parnership, Prince Grant Marshall Roselia of Rozarria.” She said smiling. She would take her hand away. “In twenty-four hours, you will be free and cleared of all charges. After all, I AM the judge for your trial.” She said so nonchalantly.
The moments that had occurred were all so short, but it felt like an eternity. Savayna remembers getting hit with such a powerful blow from Hamut that her armor nearly broke, and she could feel her life dwindling right from beneath her. She didn’t know what to feel. The amount of poison within her body was too much. Even still, she heard every word that Hamut said to Emiri. She didn’t understand why he was doing that or saying all of those things. She wanted to get up, but the amount of pain was too great and she couldn’t move in fear that the poison would spread even faster than it already had been doing.

When she thought that her life was going to be over, Savayna heard whispers. Or at least, they sounded like whispers. It was Emiri yelling off of the top of her lungs. The words echoed through her ears and Savayna felt her condition getting better. As each second passed on by, she could feel the poison in her body going away. She didn’t understand until her eyes would open and she saw Emiri and then it made sense. The girl was using some kind of special ability to repair damages. It could have been some cure or esuna spell, but Savayna knew the feeling of those two spells. The one that Emiri was using was not that. Regardless, within a few minutes, Savayna’s strength was coming back to her. She would slowly sit up as Emiri would ask her if she could hear her.

“I heard you the first time, Miss Prissy.” She said rocking her head side to side and as she tried to move, she still felt some pain in her abdomens. As she would look down, her armor around the abs was completely gone, even the dress part underneath it. She saw her bare skin. “Damn that Hamut! I knew this would be a bad idea.” She said as she struggled to get up. “Damn, and what was all that shit about him not being our enemy? My ass he isn’t. He sure didn’t hesitate to nearly kill me.” She said clearly pissed at Hamut.

Emiri felt just as unsure as Savayna did, but they didn't have much of a say in the matter anyway. It looked like her powers weren't at full capacity, she was sure she tried to repair the blonde's armor, but she failed. Apparently, she was still in pain as well. The brunette lamented her failing powers, but for now, it would have to do. "Whatever the case, the others are being attacked by Ixion right now." Emiri sighed as she shook her head. "We lost the Esper...who knows how everyone else is doing."
To say that she was furious would have been underestimating the woman's anger. No, she was beyond that. Reia's face said otherwise, but the fury she felt at the moment could have burned the entire place down if it were manifested into flames. She had one hand on the table before her, Arcturus of the Council had come before her to graciously deliver the news. She couldn't believe the nerve of these idiotic men, these imbeciles! And yet somewhere in the back of her mind, she had seen it coming, somehow. Roland said so as he was executed, he had warned her as such. It didn't matter how much power the royal family had, if the Council deemed them unworthy, they would find a way to dethrone them. And now that her little secret was out, Reia knew it was only a matter of time before her throne was snatched away from her grip.

"You must understand, Your Majesty...the Council wants nothing more then prosperity for Rozarria. Said prosperity is...jeopardized if the ruler is unfit for the throne." He spoke, a line rehearsed but with no real meaning behind it. "And thus we have reached our decision. For the time being, you will remain at your position, but once the Council has decided which of the prospects--"

"Between the younger brother of mine or my niece?" Reia spat, slowly standing at this point. "Not only is this an insult, it is pure treason on your end. I will see to it that you are all hanged."

"You would have been right in any normal circumstance. However, with the revelation that you cannot bear children, we have deemed you unfit for the throne." He reminded her. "Truly disgraceful, as both a woman and an Empress. Though you are correct in assuming both Grant and Nadeline will be considered. Both are young, willing members of the royal family that will replace you nicely. Lorenzo was our first choice, but he refuses to take the throne as he must care for Lady Karolina--an admirable trait."

Reia narrowed her eyes. "Grant is a controlling man, he will not let you pull his strings and be manipulated by the likes of any of you. He is also set on marrying a commoner, something you all have been opposed to since Lorenzo's marriage. Nadeline is naive and idealistic, a foolish girl who has yet to see the cruelties of this world."

"Grant is also a reasonable man. As for his future bride, Emelia Rianna, she is the daughter of Andre, who has recently become a Duke. She may have been commonborn in the past, but as of this moment she is a Duchess. Her hidden powers make her a fine tool for Rozarria, making her more then worthy to become the Emperor's wife." Arcturus stated, clearly ready for any of Reia's statements. "Nadeline...yes, she would make a fine puppet. And last I heard, she is also a perfectly healthy young woman, ready to bear heirs--something you cannot do, which makes her more valuable than yourself. Some council members are even considering marrying Nadeline to Grant, though it is still in the air...now, I will take my leave, I have more urgent matters to attend to. Enjoy the rest of your time in power, while it lasts."

Reia turned to her desk, slamming her fist on it in frustration. After everything she had worked for, after everything she had done, was this her justice? Betrayed by her own council...she knew she should have gotten rid of them when she had the chance. She sank into her seat, thoughts whirring. Grant had no desire for the throne...but if they offered Emelia, she was sure he would jump on it. But Nadeline would be easier to control, so she was sure the Council would push for her to succeed Grant. She bit her lip, though for the moment, let her mind wander. Right now, nothing could be done.

As Savayna and Emiri were just beginning to both get up. Emiri first since she was to help Savayna get up, Savayna would wonder about what Emiri had just said about Ixion attacking the trio at Mount Bur Omisace. First off, what exactly were his plans there? Savayna couldn’t wrap her brain around that and secondly, how much trouble are their friends going to be in cause of Ixion being present at Omisace? Whichever the case, Savayna would brush off any dirt off of her shoulders and the rest of her body. She would look to Emiri and speak. “So, how will we even get to Omisace? Even if we were to somehow send word to the others or even the ship, it would still be an hour out most likely.” She said as she was standing up and holding her abs just for a slight second.
Bodies laid out, people unconscious, and all by the hands of one man — a singular man — who goes by the name of Ixion, the forth Judge Magister of the Archadian Imperial Court. By his hands and by his blade, the Acolytes, and royalties of the Three Great Empires fell. Now, as he stands mere feet away from the Gran Kiltias himself, he readies to strike, but first he must converse with the Gran Kiltias.

“So, it’s just you and I old man.” Ixion states.

“Child, you have gone through all of this trouble and for what?” The Gran Kiltias said, asking Ixion what his motives are.

Ixion looks to him. “It’s nothing personal. I’m merely following the orders of my Emperor.” He stated.

“Ah yes, the Emperor Vincent. I have dreamt of him and his corrupted ways. He will bring ruin upon Ivalice.” The Gran Kiltias said, “My dreams tell me that should you follow him, like many before, you will die by his hands or by the hands of those under his command.” The Gran Kiltias says.

Ixion doesn’t believe the old man. Vincent — his cousin — would never let that happen. Even if Ixion were to believe him, he would not let Vincent do such a thing to him before he kills the Emperor first. “Nice try, old timer, but I will not believe the lies you speak.”

“My child, I speak no lies, for what I dream is what I see in reality. You’d be best to heed my warning. Young Vincent will be the death of you, the death of your cousins, the death of your grandfather, and the death of your uncl---”

“ENOUGH!”
Ixion shouted. “You have NO right to speak of my Uncle Simon. HE IS DEAD!” Ixion said shouting once more. He looked to Jaakuna. “He was kill by the disgraced prince, Jackson.” Bitter and angry, Ixion wanted to kill Jaakuna right now, but he was on orders.

“My child, you have trouble in your heart. I can ease it. Allow me this last request to show you the afternoon of your uncle’s death and what followed it” The Gran Kiltias said as his eyes would open, glowing with ethereal white and black. Before Ixion could even reject the Gran Kiltias’ request, Ixion was overtaken by the white and black light from the Kiltias and it would be revealed that Ixion was somehow projected into astral form from his body and into the moments that his uncle died.

It was three years ago, the day of which Simon, then Emperor of Archadia, had called his sons to meet with him in the Emperor’s Office. The two of his sons sat in seats as Isaiah could see. He was not seeable to the three, but he could see and hear everything. From what he did hear, his Uncle Simon was telling his sons that he was retiring the throne and would be handing it over to one of his sons. He would then go on to say some very nice things about his two sons, but when he would make the decision of naming Vincent and not Jackson, Isaiah could see and feel the rage from Jaakuna.

When Ixion would move closer just to get a better sense of what was being said, that’s when he heard Jaakuna and Simon argue about how what the Emperor was doing is complete bullshit. Simon would respond to Jaakuna by saying that he should watch his mouth when in the presence of his father and brother. Jaakuna would tell him to fuck off. Simon was surprised at this and as was Ixion. He didn’t understand any of it. When Simon would state the real reason why he didn’t choose Jaakuna as his heir, it was cause he was married to Savayna, who he proceeded to call a whore. That set Jaakuna off and with one uppercut punch, Simon was sent flying out of his chair, over the balcony and down the several stories that the building was up on.

When Ixion saw that, he flew to see where his uncle had fallen and when he saw it, his uncle laid there dead. Going over the grief even more, Ixion didn’t know why the Gran Kiltias wanted to show him this, but when he would think that, a rushing of the area would occur and the area that Ixion now saw was some laboratory of some kind. He saw a bunch of wires attached to one person. There were several machines from those wires and they were measuring some kind of heart rate. Ixion would go over to the bed in which the wires were connected to and he saw it, but he couldn’t believe it.

“Uncle!?” He said.

Before anything else could be revealed, Ixion was transported back in front of the Gran Kiltias. “What the fuck was that old man? Why did I just see my supposedly deceased uncle attached to a life support machine!?” He yelled.

As Ixion yelled to the Gran Kiltias, the trio would begin to start waking up. It wouldn’t be unheard of for them to hear what Ixion had said. Jaakuna and Wesley heard it, but were both confused. Jaakuna was especially confused because he didn’t even know what he meant or if what Ixion had just yelled was the truth or not. “Isaiah, what do you mean!?” Jaakuna yelled staggering to his feet.

Ixion looked back to Jaakuna and the other two who were just getting up. “I-I don’t..LEAVE ME ALONE!” Ixon didn’t know what to think right now. Was what he saw the truth? And if it was, then did that mean Vincent knows that his father is alive? Ixion just doesn’t know.

Jaakuna would walk towards Ixion, not even aware that pure adrenaline was fueling him. He would grasp Ixion’s clothing and pin him against the wall behind the Gran Kiltias. “TELL ME NOW!”

Nadeline's eyes fluttered open, clearly dazed. What had happened? She heard yelling...no, Jaakuna shouldn't be yelling in front of the Gran Kiltas, didn't he ever listen? Wait, did she just hear that Emperor Simon was alive? How could that be? Little by little, the events strung themselves together, and the blonde blinked a few times to clear her vision. They had been attacked...she wasn't able to throw up a Shell in time...that had been quite some attack. She let out a small groan as she picked herself up, her hand to her head as she tried to stand. By the time she got to her feet, she saw Jaakuna had pinned Ixion to the wall. With shaky legs she managed to make her way to Jaakuna, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Please, calm yourself, anger will not give you the answers you need." She spoke, though it was more of an elevated grumble as she felt her head spin. She must have gotten hit hard, she felt so dizzy. She took her hand off his shoulder and put it to her head again, trying to straighten herself.
Emiri stared at Savayna. She was right, at the moment, they were stranded. She let out a small sigh, clearly upset at their lack of options. Last time they got in a scuffle with Ixion, they had barely escaped with their lives. Would Wesley charge in recklessly? Would Jaakuna be paralyzed again? Would Nadeline get hurt? She couldn't stand the thought, and once more found herself cursing her own cowardice for not insisting that the group remained together. She prayed that they would be alright. She looked around, then turned to the general.

"There's nothing we can do." She said, slightly crestfallen, though she did take out her bow once more. "Let's just get back to the meeting place. Whenever they come they'll be expecting us there."

As Savayna and Emiri worked their way back the way they came, they would kill any monster or beast that would get in their way. Whether it was Garudas, Vipers, Wordens, or whatever, by a swing of their swords and firing of their spells, they would do whatever it took to get to the meeting place that Emiri had suggested that the two of them should go to. It wouldn’t be before long that they actually did get there. “Well, I guess we’re here.” Savayna said in a bored tone.

As Savayna looked around, she couldn’t believe it. “What are you doing here?!”
Jaakuna had Ixion pinned against the wall and he was pretty much yelling to Ixion about whether what he said was the absolute truth or not. Jaakuna would continue this for a few moments longer until Nadeline would place her hand on one of his shoulders pleading with him to calm his ass down and that getting angry wouldn’t get him the answers he so desires. Jaakuna looked back at her, tears in his eyes, but he was so frustrated with his cousin that he couldn’t remain calm.

“My father could still be alive! How do you expect me to remain calm!?” Jaakuna asked Nadeline, though mostly rhetorical, in a very loud way.

Wesley stepped forward, staggering to get to his feet and he was holding his ribs. A few of them were cracked. “Jaakuna, I know how you must feel. Ixion killed my father and I would like nothing more but to kill him or rage at him right now, but if he truly saw something that could verify if your father is indeed alive or not, then should we not take him in as our prisoner and question him?” Wesley asked Jaakuna.

Jaakuna didn’t know what to do right now. He wanted to yell some more at his cousin, but he knew that he had to go about this the right way. If he wasn’t careful, he would never find out if his father is alive or not. “You’re right Wesley, and thank you Nadeline.” He said releasing his grip from Ixion.

Wesley walked up to Ixion. He as going to say something to The Lightning Falcon, but Ixion would speak first. “Save your breath. I’ll go willingly. Like my dear cousin Jackson here, I, too, wish to find out the truth.” Ixion said, ‘so do whatever it is you need to confine me..” He said.

Wesley smiled to Ixion. He breathed in and out and with a punch from his left hand, he smacked Ixion across his face, knocking the Judge Magister out. Jaakuna was shocked that Wesley would even do such a thing. “What the heck man? I could’ve done that.” Jaakuna said complaining that he wasn’t the one to do that. “Yeah, but you didn’t.” Wesley said chuckling.

As the trio would get their preparations ready for departure, Wesley would construct cuffs of Holy light which would confine his legs and arms with magick. As that happened, Jaakuna would carry him over his shoulders, but before they would leave, the Gran Kiltias would speak.

“My children, before you depart, allow me this one last thing. I have just dreamt that of a nightmare regarding two ladies and a man. The ladies are one of blonde and rashness and the other is of brunette and evasiveness. The man, is of silver and arrogance. The ladies in question are in danger from this man.”

Jaakuna didn’t know why, but he felt like the two ladies were obviously Emiri and Savayna. However, try as he might, he can’t for the life of him gather who this man of silver could be. Jaakuna might just be too preoccupied by the events happening with the ‘what ifs’ of his father being alive or dead. Regardless, Jaakuna, Nadeline, and Wesley would bow to the Gran Kiltias and depart from the Hall of Light.
As Savayna and Emiri came to the sight of a man in silver, very dark tanned skin, and very slim figure, Savayna just couldn’t believe it. The man smiled at the statement that Savayna said asking what he was doing in the Mosphoran Highwaste.

“Oh Savayna, you truly are a traitorous whore, aren’t you?” Said Vincent.

What Vincent was doing here was beyond any thought that Savayna had and she wasn’t just about to let him get anywhere near Emiri. “Answer me! What are you doing here?”

Vincent smiled. “Oh please, just shut up.” Vincent said, without a moment’s notice, launched an attack with his straight hand. The attack found itself in Savayna’s abdomen, coated with Flare. The explosion would launch her five feet back on her very own back. Vincent then looked down upon Emiri(he’s taller than her) and smiled. “I don’t believe we have met properly.” He said going to one knee, and gently grabbing Emiri’ right hand and kissing it. “I am Emperor Vincent Orgull Darcone, and the younger brother to Jackson — I mean Jaakuna. Sorry, I guess I’m not used to calling him that.” He said chuckling as he had already risen to his feet.

Savayna couldn’t move. It wasn’t that she was paralyzed, but she felt such pain from that punch Vincent had given her. “E-Emiri, run..” Savayna said as she would struggle even to get out a few words. As Vincent heard her speak, he would motion his hand and a few Archadian Imperial Soldiers came and knocked out Savayna, and just left her in her unconsciousness. Meanwhile, Vincent looked to Emiri smiling. He would then motion one of the soldiers to grab a hold of Emiri as the soldiers would place anti-magick cuffs around her hands.

“I’m sorry my dear, but I am given no other choice but to take you with me.” He said as he would walk on to a few paces in front and then a red and silver beam shot down and they would all be shot up to a beaming station very similar to that of the Ifrit, but it had more of an Archadian design to hit. “I welcome you to my personal warship, the Neo Bahamut. It is one of the finest and most equipped ship of all Archadian fleets. It’s above the Dreadnaught class.” He said smiling.

The Neo Bahamut would fly away and Savayna would be left to rot, at least that’s what Vincent would have intended to have happen. However, with her last ditch effort, Savayna pressed hard on her armor and it would send an SOS signal to Iris.

As they stepped out into the cold air, Nadeline let out a sigh, though she turned to Wesley. Concentrating, she released a Curaja on the three of them--excluding Ixion, because quite frankly she still did not forgive him--and hoped that would be enough, at least until they were back on the Ifrit. As they made their way back to said ship, she couldn't help but wonder about the Gran Kiltas' message to them. "Silver and arrogance...hmph, I know quite a few people that fit that description." She huffed, crossing her arms to help with the cold. "We'd best hurry...no doubt Savayna and Emiri need help...I only pray we make it in time..."
Emiri put away her bow as they reached their destination, stretching her arms above her head. As Savayna stated the obvious, she couldn't help but roll her eyes. Did this woman do nothing but complain? Still, she didn't seem like she was in the best shape, and Emiri felt a pang of guilt. Boy was she rusty, her ability should have completely healed her, but it seemed it didn't. She pondered if she should try again, though before she could suggest the idea, the blonde was obviously surprised by someone's appearance. A man in silver approached them, and for a moment, Emiri couldn't help but wonder if they had met. His face seemed somewhat familiar, but she could not quite place a name to it. As he raised his hand, she gasped as he unleashed an attack. To her surprise, however, the attack was meant for Savayna--she was knocked back some distance.

She soon found that she had her own issues to worry about, as the man in front of her kneeled before her, taking her hand. She was somewhat confused by this--he had attacked Savayna, but not her? Her confusion was quickly solved when he revealed his identity: Emperor Vincent. Her eyes widened in shock, and she was left speechless. What in the world was the Emperor doing here of all places? No wonder he looked familiar...he and Jaakuna looked somewhat alike, but Vincent seemed...cruder, so to speak. She heard Savayna's warning, but he still held her. "Savayna!" She cried out as the blonde was attacked. She felt Vincent let go of her hand, and in that instant, she stopped time. Alas, she was too late, and was met with a rather nasty shock. He had left no room for error, it seemed, for as soon as he let her go a soldier had come and clasped cuffs around her wrists.

She looked back at Savayna as she was dragged forward by a soldier, though everything disappeared. When things came back, she saw she was now on an airship. He said it was the Neo Bahamut,. Still, she couldn't believe he had left Savayna behind. What if her injuries were bad? Would the rest be able to get back and find her? "How could you leave her like that?!" Emiri cried, clearly distressed by the rather brutal attack on Savayna. "What do you even want with me?!" She half already new the answer to that, and silently cursed Archadia for knowing so much about her.

Right after the Gran Kiltias would give them a warning of sorts, Jaakuna just thought about it and he just knew it meant nothing good. Wesley knew that as well, but he didn’t know what it could mean. Nadeline would muse out loud about how she knew a lot of people that had silver hair and arrogance about them. It would only be about five minutes before they made their way on the outskirts of the temple and they would be beamed up to Ifrit.

“Master Jaakuna, Master Wesley, Lady Nadeline — I’ve received an SOS signal from Lady Savayna.” IRIS said, informing them.

Jaakuna’s attention was now on what IRIS had just said. “Do you know what about?” Jaakuna asked.

“I do not, but it came from where Lady Savayna and Lady Emiri were dropped off.” IRIS said.

Jaakuna looked troubled, and he knew they would have to hurry. “Please set a course to Mosphoran Highwaste and put it into maximum speed.”
“Right away sir.”

The course was set and the airship would be off, flying at the fastest speeds imaginable. It wouldn’t take long, only about ten minutes. Though, the ride wouldn’t be a pleasant one so that’s why Jaakuna would suggest that they just stay in the area they are currently at for the time being. It’s not like the ride will be that long.
Aboard the Neo Bahamut, Vincent smiles to Emiri as she questions how could he leave Savayna where she was and what he wants with her. Vincent just laughed slightly. He found her yelling and her questions amusing. “A useless whore should lay on the ground like a useless whore.” He laughed. He would then look to Emiri, obviously she was showing a very angry face to him. “Do not fret dear Emilia — or do you prefer Emiri? — It matters not. What does matter is that I have you and we can talk. The gods know it’s been a long time coming.” He said as he snapped his fingers, signaling one of his men to bring two chairs. They did and Emiri and Vincent would sit. The latter would do it on his own and the former doing it via force from an Archadian Soldier.

He sat down cross-legged. His arms were on the armrest, and he looked to Emiri. “I’m sure you have a lot of questions — like why I have you, how I knew you would be here and more importantly, what I plan on doing with you, right? — Well, just comply with what I say, and we will all walk out of this happy.” Vincent said, smirking to Emiir. “Let’s start off by talking bout my dear brother, Jaakuna and what he did to our father.”
About nine minutes into the trip, Jaakuna and everybody else arrived at the Southern Skirls of the Mosphoran Highwaste. As they would all beam down instantly(excluding Ixion who was left), they touched ground. Jaakuna looked around and he didn’t see Emiri or Savayna. Were they too late on getting to them? Jaakuna didn’t know where they possibly could be. That was until Wesley spotted someone down the ways.

“Is that?” He said, slightly running to whatever it was that he saw.

“Wesley!” Jaakuna called out.

Jaakuna followed Wesley and when Wesley came to a stop, Jaakuna would see that it was Savayna and she was in a bad way. Blood was all over her clothing and she seemed to be breathing very slowly. Jaakuna knelt down, put his left arm supporting her head and Wesley would place both hands over her abdomens and he said a single word. “Curaga!” As he said that, an ethereal green glow surrounded her cut and it would at least take her out of the ciritcal state she was in.

As Savayna began coughing, she came to. ‘J-Jaakuna..” She said quietly, obviously her strength not being back fully.

“Shh, you need to save your strength.”
“Shut up asshat, listen to me.”
“What is it?”
“It’s about Emiri..”
“What about her!? SAVAYNA!”
“V-Vincent…”
“What about Vincent?
“He…he…has…her..”

When Savayna had told him, Jaakuna’s whole world came on crashing down. He could feel his heart pounding faster and faster. The realization that Vincent had Emiri hit him and it had done it hard. He couldn’t believe it — he wouldn’t believe it. but he knew it was true. It took him a few minutes to come to grips with that, — but he knew it to be true. Remembering back to what the Gran Kiltias had said, it made sense now. The man of silver and arrogance, that was Vincent. Jaakuna didn’t know why he didn’t put it together, “Of course, man of silver and arrogance — how could I have been so stupid?” Jaakuna cursed himself for not realizing it in time.

Jaakuna stood up and he was pacing back and forth, gritting his teeth, biting his thumb, head looking down and all the while cursing at himself, cursing at how he wasn’t there for her. He was just so mad, so angry at himself right now, he didn’t know what to do. Jaakuna wasn’t in a good place right now.

For one reason or another, Vincent greatly reminded Emiri of Grant, somewhat fortifying her dislike of him. She wished she could wipe that stupid smirk off his face, it was so infuriating. As she was shoved down into a seat, she shot a look at the soldier, though she turned her attention to the Emperor seated before her. She highly doubted she would walk away happy as he suggested. Kidnapping was never a good way of endearing to a girl. Still, she didn't see the point in his mentioning what had happened to Jaakuna's father. She already knew about it, how Jaakuna had killed him.

"I'm well aware of it." She stated simply to Vincent. "Unless you wish to tell me something I don't already know."
As Jaakuna stood up and got away from Savayna, Nadeline felt it was her turn. Her White Magic was stronger than his, she hoped she would be able to at the very least alleviate the poor woman from some of her pain. The damage that had been dealt had been severe, that much she could tell. There was a lot of internal injuries, and as her Curaja made her way through Nadeline's fingertips, she traced her fingers along Savayna's skin, slowly and carefully attending to each problem. She hoped that Emiri was okay, whoever had done this to Savayna had malicious intent behind it. If they hadn't found her, she was sure the woman would have died. She thanked the gods they arrived when they did. She was pretty sure she could heal most of it, though she did push her magic a little harder to hasten the healing process.

"Where could Vincent have taken Emiri?" Nadeline asked Jaakuna, remaining focused on her magic and Savayna. "And why only take her? I thought Archadia didn't know about her...unless they found out her identity."

Vincent just kept on smiling to Emiri. He knew that she was being coy on purpose. She was probably aware of the kind of man that Vincent was and how he could be if he wanted to. Still, he would indulge her about how she’s going about it. Plus, this would greatly pass the time. However, before he would respond to her, Vincent snapped his fingers and the cuffs on Emiri’s hands came undone. “I wish not to treat you as my prisoner, not yet anyways.” He said. Vincent would look more to Emiri, still smiling. “I simply wish to talk to you. I mean, you ARE the one who my brother is currently playing around right?” He said, “even though you are an engaged woman and engaged to a prince no less. Bravo on scoring two men for the price of one.” He laughed arrogantly.
Jaakuna couldn’t think right now. He was too overtaken by grief and sorrow. He kept on pacing back and forth. He was so restless at the current moment. Jaakuna didn’t even hear Nadeline ask him what she had asked him. It was like he was not in reality. He was just in his own head. It took Wesley to punch him with a right hook in the fact as he would do as such to snap Jaakuna back into reality. He had a very confused look on his face. When Jaakuna looked around, he saw Wesley look at him and Nadeline tending to Savayna’s wounds.

“Jaakuna, did you hear Nadeline?” Wesley asked.

“No, I didn’t. What did she say.” Jaakuna said as he looked confused.

“She asked you where would Vincent take Emiri? Any ideas?” Wesley responded.

Jaakuna thought about this and the only place was Archades. “I’m not sure where exactly, but the only place that comes to mind is Archades. As to where within Archades, I haven’t the slightest clue.” Jaakuna said angry at himself. “This is my fault I should have been there for her, I should have protected her.” Jaakuna, at this point, was starting to fall to his knees. “We promised each other we would be beside each other always. I promised I would protect her and I didn’t and for what? To see the fucking Gran Kiltias!? “ By now, Jaakuna was on his knees, face buried into the ground. One arm was covering his eyes, bent like a right angle and the other arm was wailing away at the hard ground up to the point that Jaakuna's free hand was starting to bleed.

First of all, how the hell did people keep knowing she was with Jaakuna?! She was starting to think her love life was being put out for all of Ivalice to see, and she was really starting to resent that. As they removed her cuffs, she scoffed lightly. Of course there was no point in them. Who knew where they were, even if she froze everything she was sure she'd end up in the middle of nowhere with no way to contact anyone. Gods, what had she done to deserve this? She felt trapped with this...this man. His fair hair betrayed his dark heart, this much she was sure of. She couldn't help but be uncomfortable, she hated the way he was smiling at her. At the mention of her engagement, she narrowed her eyes. He really did know everything about her. She didn't appreciate his insult, either.

"I am engaged to no one." She told him, crossing her legs at her ankles. Old habits were hard to kick after all. She smoothed the skirt of her dress, sitting up properly. She knew he was trying to get to her, and she wasn't going to let him get under her skin. Though at the mention of Grant, she did remember Hamut mentioning that they had Grant arrested. "I thought you were going to tell me about your father's death, not make a point of my love life--which, quite frankly, is none of your business."
Nadeline let out an irritated huff, blowing her bangs off her forehead. She couldn't believe Jaakuna was panicking. Not that she blamed him, really. She did not know what kind of man the Emperor of Archadia was, but many people said that he and her aunt, Reia, had much in common. She looked to Wesley, her hands still busy healing Savayna. They didn't have time for Jaakuna's tantrum, they needed to regroup and find Vincent. "Snap out of it, Jaakuna, none of this is going to help us find Emiri." She spoke. "We must stay focused, we need to find out where they took her."

Vincent liked the spunkiness that Emiri had about her. She definitely was a fit for Jaakuna. Though, the fact that she knew about his father was just a little surprising. He had no doubt that Jaakuna had told him, but the fact that he openly told her was definitely something of interest. “So, Jackson told you, did he? Very interesting and somewhat entertaining.” Who was he kidding, Vincent found Emiri’s whole demeanor at the current moment entertaining. When she would say that they thought they would talk about his father’s death, Vincent kept on smiling, “we are, in some aspects.” He just kept on smiling. “But for the time being, I would move our discussion to your darling fiancé. He is currently being held as my prisoner back at Archadia.”

Entertaining? Vincent was toying with her. He was enjoying this, and Emiri hated it. The more he insisted on talking about Grant the more confused she felt. What was his angle? What was he getting at? What was the point of any of this? "I suppose I didn't make myself clear, I am not engaged to anyone. I could care less about Grant, he could rot in your dungeons for all I care. And unless Grant has any role in your father's death--something I highly doubt as I had the misfortune of having to grow up around him--I don't see why he needs to be the topic." Emiri said. Gods, that smile was so unnerving. She felt like he was staring right through her rather than at her. This whole thing was so wrong, it was like she was a piece of art and he was studying her, testing her. What was the point of all this?

“Oh please, milady, I wish not to anger you. I am in total agreement with you. I too wish for him to rot in the dungeons. I will make him suffer for failing me.” Vincent’s tone was totally sincere. He really didn’t wish to anger Emiri, not even in the slightest. “And no, Prince Grant did not have anything to do with my father’s death, that much is perfectly clear.” Vincent said as he would clear his throat. “But yes, I suppose I should tell you why I brought you here upon my ship.” He said smiling, “I am fully aware of your power. It wasn’t that hard to decipher it. Every record of escape has always been surrounding a girl with bold, violet eyes and only in recent days, it’s been around my dear brother. I merely had to put two and two together. Which brings me to my reason.” He said uncrossing his legs, standing up from his chair and turning to the window where the blue skies could be seen. “There is someone in urgent state that I wish for you to heal. I’m assuming you can do that? Or am I wrong in my assumption?” He said as he turned his head to Emiri. He shot her a glance.
It took both Nadeline and Wesley to snap Jaakuna out of whatever state he was in. He just had to control himself. He knew it wouldn’t do him nor Emiri any good if he was just blaming himself constantly. “We…we should get to the airship. Savayna will need the help from the medic bay.” Jaakuna suggested. Wesley liked the idea that Jaakuna had offered up and thusly they all carried her carefully to the airship, beamed up, and within a few minutes would be at the medic bay where Savayna was laid out in the same spot that Jaakuna was when he was in his coma.

As the trio were sitting at one of the two tables in the medic bay, Jaakuna just had his head looking down at the table. Wesley patted Jaakuna on the back as he would reach over to do so. “So, Jaakuna any ideas on how we can find Emiri?” Wesley asked.

Jaakuna looked up and while he was indeed sad, he looked especially sad. “there is one thing we can try, but I don’t want to do it…” His face would trail on.

Wesley was shocked. “If there’s a way to do it, then we must for Emiri’s sake.” Wesley said.

Jaakuna looked to him. “Fine. Give me a few minutes.” Jaakuna slowly got up and walked away out of the medic bay. Something was up with him and neither Wesley nor Nadeline knew what was up with him.

Jaakuna walked out, and proceeded to go to his room. As he arrived in his room, he called out “Room function: Call Center!” He said and Iris recognized that command and his entire room started to change shape. The walls would raise up, his bed would go against the wall, chairs and machines would be seen and a chair would appear behind Jaakuna and he would be brought right in front of the big machine that had a bunch of buttons on it, screens — just about anything one could imagine on a machine like this.

“Welcome back, sir.” Iris said.

“Thank you iris. Can you please link me to my grandfather?”
“Right away sir.”

It would be only mere minutes before the link would be connected. “Hello, who is this?” Hamut said.

Jaakuna froze for a moment. It had been almost four years he had spoke to his grandfather. “Grandfather..” Jaakuna spoke very timidly.

Hamut was shocked to hear his grandson. “Jackson —I mean, Jaakuna — is that really you?” He spoke back through the audio call.

“Yes, it’s me grandfather. And you can call me Jackson if you want.” Jaakuna said as he smiled slightly. It felt good for him to hear his grandfather’s voice.

Hamut would smile at his end. “What do I owe the surprise of your call?” He asked.

“I want to..” He paused, “I need to see you. It’s urgent.” Jaakuna said.

Hamut was even more shocked. “Jackson, you know I cannot just meet you. I am a Judge or has your time away from your home numbed your brain on that regard?” Hamut said coldly.

Jaakuna didn’t blame his grandfather for saying what he just did. “N-No, it hasn’t, but this is important. And no, I haven’t forgotten you’re a judge. Please, just meet with me and two of my friends.” Jaakuna pleaded.

Hamut was considering this all. “Only for you. Afterall, you are my favorite grandson.” The love was obvious in his voice.
“Where shall we meet?”
“The Sandsea Tavern in Rabanastre.”
“What time?”
“One hour?”
“Sounds good. Should I come in regular clothing?
“I believe that will be best.”
“Then I shall do as such.”
“Thank you Grandfather.”

*CLICK*

Jaakuna heard a click. He didn’t blame his grandfather for doing that. It had been so long since they talked or seen each other and they didn’t really end on the best of terms. Maybe this will be a step in the right direction. Whichever the case, Jaakuna would stand up, and exit the machine area. “Revert.” He said, voice very depressed. The room would start to revert back to its previous look as it would soon look like a bedroom and not some call center. Jaakuna would then go to his bed and lay there. His hair had come undone from it’s previous ponytail way. He would have his face in his pillow and he would cry. The tears flowing from his eyes. He never thought he would be in this position.

It hadn't even been that long since Vincent and Emiri knew one another, and she already hated him. She found it somewhat ironic that he had Grant arrested; the two would surely be the best of friends, they were so much alike it made her sick. When he mentioned a failure, she assumed he was referring to their escape from the Ark, as well as Savayna's betrayal. But finally, the reason behind her capture had been made clear: he wanted her to heal someone. She raised an eyebrow at this request, From what she heard, Archadian technology far surpassed anything in Ivalice. Whatever ailment this person had must be something serious. Still, she didn't have much of a choice, seeing as how despite Vincent;s words she was still prisoner to him.

Clasping her hands together, she looked down at her hands. "Yes, you are correct." She responded quietly.
Nadeline watched Savayna for a moment, though she turned her attention to Wesley. She shook her head, letting out an irritated sigh as she took a seat. "Out of one mess and into another. I am not sure how much more my heart can take." She complained, ruffling her hair. Between Savayna very well nearly dying and Emiri's kidnapping, everything was happening with very little reprieve in between.
