Oh, yeah; forgot to mention something earlier. Gotta set the rules for any instance of any Duel containing three or more Duelists in a free-for-all style, including some additional card rulings.
- Only the final Duelist to make his/her move may attack during his/her first turn.
- The first Duelist to make his/her move may not conduct the Draw Phase of his/her first turn, but second and after may draw.
- Any effect damage to be inflicted is directed toward a single opponent unless the card says "both players" or "each player" (i.e.:
"Fairy Wind"), in which case damage is inflicted to even the card's controller.
- Cards like
"Bad Reaction to Simochi" and
"Dark Room of Nightmare" activate their effects whenever any opponent falls under the card's guidelines.
-
"Creature Swap",
"Compulsory Escape Device", and other similar cards require all players to control a monster. "Creature Swap" proceeds to change control in the clockwise direction.
-
"Swords of Revealing Light" lasts until the third End Phase of the final opponent to take his/her turn after the card is activated. Opponents of the card's controller cannot attack each other.
-
"Magical Arm Shield" can only take control of a monster controlled by the attacking opponent.
If one of these rulings seems unfair or questionable, let me know. Also, if there is another ruling that you feel should be added, also feel free to inform me. This is just the way I have interpreted each card.
(Adjusted effects for Duels including three or more players:
-
Dark Room of Nightmare: When one of your opponents takes damage from a card effect, except from "Dark Room of Nightmare", inflict 300 damage to that opponent.
-
Swords of Revealing Light: Flip all opponents' monsters face-up. This card remains face-up on the field for three of each of your opponents' turns. While this card is face-up on the field, monsters your opponents control cannot declare an attack.
-
Bad Reaction to Simochi: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, any effect of increasing one of your opponents' Life Points is changed to inflict the same amount of points in damage to that opponent's Life Points.
-
Magical Arm Shield: When one of your opponents declares an attack: Target 1 face-up monster that opponent controls, except the attacking monster; take control of that target until the end of the Battle Phase, and if you do, it is attacked instead, and you proceed to damage calculation.)
