There was very few words that Emiri spoke. Vincent didn’t mind it, but as he thought about his brother, he couldn’t help but just chuckle at how different this one is from Savayna. Sure, he hates his brother, but that didn’t mean he often thought back to the good ol’ days. More importantly, he would just think about how severely different Emiri is from Savayna. She is so cautious and quiet, and Savayna is more reckless and boastful. The two truly are polar opposites. As he would continue to laugh at himself for thinking about that traitorous whore, Vincent sat back down in the same position he was in before.

“Okay, good. Now, how good are your healing powers?” Vincent said curiously.
Since Jaakuna had abruptly got up and left without saying but a few words, Wesley and Nadeline had gotten up, sat back down, got food, and repeated the process. It was more than a few minutes. Since Jaakuna left, it was more like an hour. Wesley didn’t understand what was taking Jaakuna so long, but maybe it was best if he didn’t wonder about that. It would only just hit him that Jaakuna was going through a lot right now. His girlfriend — who he cares for deeply — was taken from him by his brother. If anything happened to you, Nadeline, I don’t know what I would do. Truth be told, Wesley would probably do the same thing Jaakuna was doing. He would sulk around until he felt a little better.

As Wesley would continue to just let time pass on, Nadeline would make a comment about how they seemed to find their way out of one mess and into another. She would then go on to express that her heart couldn’t take much more. Around that very moment, Wesley had gone over to Nadeline, bringing a chair with him, he sat it down and sat in it, holding Nadeline’s hand. He would just hold it tight. “We’ll get through it, and we‘ll get Emiri back.” He said.

"How 'good'...? It's not a matter of how good I am." Emiri said slowly. "I just turn back time to a state where whatever is broken or wounded is repaired...I return them to the state they were in before they were hurt." She explained, though it made her realize just how little she knew about her own ability. She had it with her for as long as she could remember, and yet when it came down to explaining it, she didn't have a clue. Was she even making any sense? "It's difficult to explain in words. I just do it, I don't really...think about it. I suppose it is more of a 'show don't tell' sort of situation." She remained looking at her hands, despite knowing Vincent had sat back down. The more she looked at him, the more she was reminded of her nightmare. Specifically, he reminded her too much of the Jaakuna who had killed her.
Get through one mess, and then prepare for the next one. Except Nadeline never thought for a moment that Emiri would have been taken away from them. In all truth, sh e had expected Emiri to be injured with Savayna. As bizarre as it sounded, she would have preferred that. At the very least, they would all still be together, right? They've gotten out of situations where they've gotten hurt. But to her, this was worse. She felt like a mother whose child had disappeared. Who knew what they were doing to Emiri, she didn't know what kind of person Archadia's Emperor was, but Jaakuna's reaction bothered Nadeline like no other. Would Emiri get hurt by him? Would he abuse her? Force her to do his bidding? It was torture to imagine what could happen.

Wesley grasped her hand, and Nadeline looked up at him. He assured her that they would get through this and get her back. Oh, how she wanted to believe him. For now, she would let herself hope so, and prayed Vincent wouldn't do anything to Emiri. She smiled, nodding back at Wesley, though her smile faded slightly. "Jaakuna...I hope he will be alright." It felt odd to be worrying about him, but she supposed she felt a pang of guilt, too. "He insisted on going with her...perhaps in a way he knew something like this would happen. I mean, I imagined the worst, but when we found Savayna, I expected Emiri to be with her...how odd is it that I would have preferred to see her nearly beaten to death rather then being gone?"

Vincent was pleased with her answer, to say the least.. Her saying that she can repair an injury to a time that it wasn’t there definitely made him think. Vincent wanted to see if what she was saying was the truth. It wasn’t that he doubted she was lying, but she could have been exaggerating just a bit. So, Vincent offer her up a test of sorts. He just wanted to be sure that she could repair a massive injury on a moment’s notice. After all, what he’s going to have her do once they get back to Archadia is going to be even more on a greater scale than what her test is going to be.

“I see, well then that’s pretty fascinating.” Vincent said as he stood up.

Motioning his hand to have one of the Archadian Soldiers to come to him, the soldier hesitated not. He came and he would speak. “Yes sir. Something you need of me?” He said.

Vincent smiled at the soldier, as coldheartedly as he could, but that was just what was underneath it. On the surface, his smile was soothing. Within one moment, Vincent would take his right hand, coat it with Flare, and as it would glow a very bright orange and brown color, he would drive it straight into the soldier’s gut, piercing through his armor and skin like butter. The instant his hand went through, blood splattered everywhere. The soldier cried out in pain, and as Vincent would take his hand out from the soldier’s gut, said soldier dropped to his knees, both arms over his abdomen area, and he would fall on his stomach, but since he was holding his gut with both arms, he would land on his right side.

Vincent would snap his other hand. “Towel please?” He requested and in a minute, a towel was present to him. He would wipe the blood from his hand. Vincent sat back down on the chair, both arms on the armrest, and the left one supporting his head as he smugly looked at the soldier bleeding out, and he was sitting crosslegged, right leg over the left. His eyes would shift to Emiri. “Heal him. Now”
Hearing Nadeline feel worried about Jaakuna just made Wesley feel the same. He also hoped Jaakuan was at least able to get through it. For some reason, Wesley felt that Jaakuna shouldn’t be left alone at the moment, but he knew that his friend needed the time alone just to deal with the initial shock of what happened. “I’m sure he’ll be alright. Our Jaakuna is strong, granted a little headstrong — actually, a lot headstrong — but he is strong nonetheless. “ Wesley said as he still held Nadeline’s hand. He would agree with her about how he also would had preferred to find Emiri with Savayna, even though she would have been in the same condition Savayna would have been in.

As Wesley would just look on, the medic bay door opened, and Jaakuna walked in. To his surprise, Wesley turned over and he stood up. Happy and a little worried. He didn’t know what to say right now, but he wouldn’t have to because Jaakuna would speak first.

‘You don’t have to worry about me. I’m fine now.” Jaakuna said.

It was obvious in his voice that Jaakuna was anything but fine, but Wesley would not press on that matter. “Did you do what you set out to do?” Wesley asked, obviously referring to what Jaakuna had initially left the Medic Bay to do.

Jaakuna looked at him. “Yeah.” He simply said. “Iris, set a course to Rabanastre and make it fast.”
“Yes Master Jaakuna.”

Wesley was surprised at this. “Rabanastre? Why Rabanastre?” Wesley asked curiously.

Jaakuna sat down at the table. “We’re meeting someone there in an our.” Jaakuna responded.

Wesley would ask who, but it would seem that Jaakuna didn’t want to speak much about it. So, he would just trust Jaakuna knew what he was doing. “Okay, then I suppose we should go get prepared.” Wesley said as he would ponder on what exactly they would need. Weapons probably.

Jaakuna moaned. “We don’t need anything, not for this trip.” Jaakuna said.

Saying you were fine meant that you weren't fine at all, this much Nadeline knew. Still, she didn't want to further upset him, and decided to remain silent as Jaakuna and Wesley spoke. She did perk up slightly at the mention of meeting someone in Rabanastre. She wondered if Aloa and Vlyn were still there or if they had moved on already. The person they were going to meet, she wondered who it could be. Today was full of surprises, it seemed. But as she looked at Jaakuna, she could tell that this little meeting bothered him somewhat. Perhaps it had been a last resort he was somewhat hesitant to take?

Nadeline stood up as well, joining the two, though she was sure Jaakuna would probably leave to sulk some more. What could she even say to him? "What about Ixion?" She asked slowly, as if her speaking would somehow create a problem.
Vincent had stood up again, apparently to call a soldier over. Maybe he didn't believe her, but would he really injure one of his men? Her question was quickly answered, and she was sure she would have screamed if she wasn't paralyzed with shock momentarily. He ripped through him far too easily without so much as hesitation on his part. The way no other soldier seemed to so much as cringe or react meant this must have been a somewhat typical thing. This man was truly a monster. Her gaze met his, and she could see his very smug expression, as if he was purposely displaying his power. She was surprised she didn't become startled at his command and she felt very guilty, knowing what happened to the soldier was her fault.

The brunette looked away from Vincent, though she did rise from her seat. She knelt down next to the surely dying soldier, his blood already reaching her knees and soaking her dress. She was nervous now, if her power failed her she was more than certain she would be next. Furrowing her brow in concentration, she placed one hand over the wound and closed her eyes. She lifted her hand very slowly, concentrating intently. The blood that had been splattered before began to seep back into his body, including the blood that had gotten on her dress. Little by little, it all went back to him, afterwards skin and tissue rebound themselves, and following that the man's clothes and armor were repaired. She opened her eyes, letting out a small sigh as the job was complete. She was relieved: all was well as she had intended.

Emiri looked back at Vincent with clear displeasure. "Satisfied?" She asked him.

While they were just all sitting at the table, Jaakuna was distant, but he was still there. He was listening to them and hearing all what they were saying. When Nadeline would bring up the question of what to do with Ixion, Jaakuna was split about him. He wanted to bring him along, but that could cause some panic for Rabanastre. Well, it’s not like they know who he is exactly, but if he were to go into town with his armor on, that would be a cause for concern.

“He’s coming with us.” Jaakuna said.

Wesley didn’t understand. “But to my people, he is known. Even if this person we are to meet can help, surely the citizens of Rabanastre would know who he is.” Wesley didn’t object, but he was just stating some very true facts.

“Not to worry, we can give him a disguise. He NEEDS to be there for this meet.” Jaakuna expressed, stating that his cousin needs to go with them to this meet.

Wesley didn’t understand it, but he would just hope Jaakuna knew what he was doing. “Okay, I trust you with this, Jaakuna.” Wesley said.

In the time that Jaakuna, Wesley, and Nadeline had agreed to bring Ixion along, even though it was much to Wesley’s worry and Nadeline’s objections, it would only be for the best. Plus, Jaakuna didn’t want his cousin to be left in the ship on his lonesome. He didn’t trust his cousin that much. In any case, as Nadeline and Wesley would bid their goodbyes to Savayna, the two of them would head off to the Beaming Station. As for Jaakuna and Ixion, they would head up to Jaakuna’s room. If this was going to work, Isaiah was going to wear regular clothes.

“Okay, you do know that your armor won’t do it right?”
“What do you mean? I look fine.”
“As much as I want to agree with you, I can’t — I won’t.”
“You’re too uptight cousin.”
“Whichever the case, you’re going to need to slip on regular clothes.”
“Fine, whatever.”

As they went back and forth, Ixion eventually conceded and agreed to wear regular clothes to at least fit in. They would go through Jaakuna’s big closet, hoping to find something that would be to his liking and also that would conceal what Ixion looks like from far away. “Okay, this and this should do.” Jaakuna said, picking out the clothes that Ixion would wear into town.

Ixion looked at them and while he didn’t like the idea of going in without his armor, he would put it all on. First, he put the tunic, that extended all the way to his knees. Then, he would put on the brown leather plate-like thing over it. Following that, the gloves, boots, scarf, and skirt-like thing. He would then slip on the cloak and tuck his long blonde hair underneath it and he would slap the hood on. “This good, your highness?” He said sarcastically.

Jaakuna couldn’t help but laugh. “Oh my god, you look like a dweeb!” He couldn’t help but control his laughter.

As soon as the laughter dissipated, Jaakuna and Isaiah went down the elevator, and proceeded to go to the Beaming Station where Nadeline and Wesley were already waiting for them. Before they would step into it, Wesley couldn’t help but notice the outfit that Ixion was wearing. He didn’t say anything, but he chuckled. Perhaps he found it a little humorous as Jaakuna had when Ixion had first showed it to him. Regardless, they would all step into the platform, and in moments, they would all be beamed down to the floor of the Aerodome. As they did, it would only take them about fifteen minutes before they would arrive to the Sandsea. It really wasn’t that hard. Considering that just about all four of them know the shortcuts in Rabanastre. It was a miracle that no one recognized Ixion, but Jaakuna did make sure he was properly cloaked from being recognized, so that worked in their favor.

Coming into the Sandsea, Jaakuna looked around, and there was the person he was meeting with. As they would go to the table, which had four other seats just in case, they all would sit down and view upon the person they had to meet. “WEsley, Nadeline, this is the person we are meeting, Brandon “Bahamut” Ira Darcone, the first Judge Magister of the Archadian Imperial Court.” Jaakuna said head bowed down. “He is mine and Isaiah’s grandfather.”
Vincent watched intently as Emiri would use her ability in front of everyone. She would not only repair the wound to the soldier that Vincent have given to him, but also repair the armor as well. Vincent truly was stoked about this girl’s power. To think, that such a person can hold this kind of power and this was just on a whim and without anything amplifying it. Truly, this girl is the one that Vincent has been searching for. As she would finish, she would clearly look displeasured. Vincent didn’t know why. She just showed him that she has a remarkable gift. “Do not look sad girl. You have proven to me that you are indeed the rumored girl of time.” He said smiling to her.

Vincent wanted to assure the girl that she had nothing to fear. With her gift, she would do Vincent a real solid, but she did seem like she didn’t enjoy what Vincent had made her do. “You have just proven that your gift is truly remarkable. You even showed that you can restore a man who was knocking on death’s door.” He said as he was obviously stating the obvious. “Though, how far back your gift works I wonder.” He mused aloud about that.

It wouldn’t be before long that the Neo Bahamut would arrive in the Imperial City of Archades of Archadia. As it would, Vincent would guide Emiri off of the ship through the beaming platform, and as they would get on an Aircab, they would sit down. Vincent would request that he and Emiri take the cab alone. He needed to talk to her. They were sitting on opposite sides, looking at each other for as far as the backseat of the aircab would allow. “Emiri or Emilia — whatever it is — my real reason for bringing you here to the Imperial City of Archades is quite simple and if you do it, you may go free.” He said smiling as he would place his arm on the arm rest, gazing out from the window. “Use your healing powers on someone, make sure they’re back to full health, and I will personally escort you to Jackson myself.”

Emiri was in disbelief, so to speak. She didn't believe Vincent for a second--even if he was telling the truth, any time she would hear those words from other people they had all turned out to be lies. And thus, they meant even less coming from a man who had the simplest intent to kill on a whim. But something he had said made her curious, mainly how he wondered exactly how far back her powers went. She couldn't help but wonder the same thing. Sure, she had just practically brought someone back from the dead, but it had also just happened. Maybe the person she needed to heal was sick? That meant she had a lot of time to turn back. She shifted in her seat slightly, her eyes towards the window like Vincent's but she wasn't really looking at anything in particular. She felt unsure, anytime she had healed a person it was something that was recent. Who knew what condition this person was in?

She didn't know what to say. She didn't want to voice her doubts, but she didn't want to make any promises either. She shifted the topic ever so slightly. "Really now? Why would you let me just waltz out of here?" She asked quietly, now looking at him. "After all this trouble you'd just let me walk away once I've completed my task? You must forgive me if I don't believe you."
Yes, one surprise after another, it seemed. Although this, she was not that surprised. She knew who Hamut was, his strength was famed across Ivalice. And once Jaakuna's true identity was revealed, it was easy to piece together his family. She supposed the only real surprise was that they were meeting with him. Jaakuna was not exactly on the best of terms with his family, so this was rather intriguing for her. Nadeline did a proper curtsy to the Judge--technically speaking she and Wesley were a higher rank then he was (Jaakuna was exempt as, of course, he was his grandson) but she did not want to disrespect the man. Still, the fact that he was here sparked her interest, though she did managed to hold her tongue on any questions for the moment.

"A pleasure, my lord. Nadeline Lenore." She introduced herself, figuring he already knew who she was.

When they had all sat down, Jaakuna was probably the only one who was nervous. Ixion was on better terms with his grandfather than his cousin, so he wasn’t as nervous. He would shoot Jaakuna a look, and he could see how bothered he was. Not like that was unheard of. Ixion remembers clearly how bad the last conversation with Jaakuna and Hamut had gone and if anyone saw that, it would be safe to say that anybody, at the time, would never thought they would seek each other out ever again.

As Nadeline would properly introduce herself, Hamut spoke. “Save it, Rozarrian.” He barked, sending chills down everybody’s spine. “I did not come here to become friendly with the likes of you. I only came cause my grandson requested it to be.” He said drinking his tea that he had ordered. There were also four other cups of the same brand.

Wesley wanted to punch this man, but he didn’t. He just calmly and politely introduced himself as well. “Sir, I do believe it was rude of me not to introduce myself. I am Wesley Alexander of Dalmasca, crown prince of Dalamasca.” WEsley said.

“You save it as well. I have no interest of knowing your names, but it is a pleasure, I guess.” Hamut said very disinterested in what Wesley had to say.

As Hamut would turn his gaze to his grandchildren, he couldn’t help but wonder what he was called to Rabanastre for. “So, Jackson, do tell me why you have requested me here. I wish not to waste my time.” Hamut said coldly.

“Yes grandfather.“ Jaakuna sighed and he would speak. [b]“My girlfriend — Emiri — was taken by Vincent. He kidnapped her and I wasn’t able to do anything before it was too late.” Jaakuna was in that pity place again.

Hamut eyed Jaakuna. “Jackson, calm yourself. You mustn’t be worried here, but you yet to tell me what I can do to assist you.” He said.

“I need — I mean we need — your help to get into Archades.” Jaakuna said.

Hamut put down his cup of tea onto the plate. “You know as well as I do that you going to Archadia would mean your arrest. So, why would you want to go to that very place for just a girl?” He asked, raising his eyebrow to Jaakuna.

Jaakuna would look to Hamut. ‘She is more than just a girl, Grandfather! SHE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!” Jaakuna yelled standing up, aggressively placing his hands on the table, and the sounds of the cups of tea rippling through the glass plates.

Hamut sat there smiling and pleased. “Sit down, Jackson. Do you want us to be the center of attention.” As he said that, Jaakuna sat. “I am very well aware of how much she means to you or else you would not have requested to see me. “ He said chuckling a bit. “I met this girl, Emilia or is it Emiri?” He said sipping his tea.” It matters not, but I know she deeply cares for you too, more than she is willing to admit. “He said setting his cup down. “I will help you only on the promise that you will marry this girl. And that you two will rule Archadia together?” He said, giving a simple request in the process, “I am tired of these arrogant rulers like your father and your brother ruining my homeland and burning it to the ground. I actually told your love this as well.” Hamut would say.

At this point, Wesley, Jaakuna, and Ixion all had shocked looks upon their faces. They couldn’t believe that Hamut would actually help them. Jaakuna was more shocked than any. He didn’t know what to be more shocked at, that Hamut saw Emiri and he told her all of these things or that he told her all of these things including the fact about marriage.

Hamut looked to Jaakuna. “So, do we have a deal, Jackson?”

Jaakuna didn’t know what to do right now, but he had to just say it. “Yes, we do.” There he said it! Oh the gods, he said it. What did I just do?
Vincent wasn’t shocked that Emiri didn’t believe him. Under these kinds of circumstances, for her to not believe him was justified, but Vincent would reassure her that she would be free if she would just heal one person for him. “I completely understand your reserves about this. If I were you, I would react and say the same thing. However,” He said pausing, “I assure you, as the Emperor of Archadia and Jackson’s brother, do this one favor for me, and you will be free to go as you please.” He said smiling, “given that you could do it, of course.” He threw her a smirk.

Vincent was an arrogant bastard, but he caught on rather quickly that Emiri wasn't sure if she could even do it. The asshole was smart, that much she had to admit. She gripped her dress lightly, trying to calm herself. She wasn't usually the type to lose her temper, but he was really pushing her buttons--and he knew it..The urge to get up and hit him was great, but she wasn't an idiot. He could probably kill her right now if he wanted to. It seemed the Archadian family had much power in their hands, and yet here they were. She was brought here for a reason, but if she could not fulfill said reason, she was unsure what would happen afterwards. Would he kill her? Imprison her?

Emiri looked away from Vincent, choosing to remain silent. The situation reminded her much of her and Savayna meeting in the Ark. "It seems I have no option but to trust your words. Funny...your General, too, made me an offer just like this one. I did as she said, and she released me." Her voice was quiet, but held a curious tone as she looked at Vincent. "It must be an Archadian gesture."
Nadeline almost laughed. Almost. By whatever miracle of the gods, she managed to keep a blank face. He was everything she had heard and more. No wonder Jaakuna was frightened; most people would probably tremble in his presence. And yet, to Nadeline, she saw a lot of Jaakuna in him. It reminded her a lot of when she had first met him: completely rude and annoying. Still, the way Bahamut could make even Jaakuna tremble was hilarious to her. Things just got more and more intriguing as the conversation continued. She declined any drink (she had half a mind to think the man would probably poison it. Probably not true, but you never know) and instead listened to the conversation unfold.

She was delighted when Jaakuna mentioned Emiri as his girlfriend. It was like a situation where he was trying to get his elder's approval for her hand in marriage despite her status. Oh, shoot, there she went again comparing the situation to one of her novels. At Jaakuna's confession to admitting he thought of Emiri as the love of his life, she lightly pinched Wesley, throwing him a 'I can't believe he just admitted it' look. It was just so romantic! Bahamut could even see Emiri's feelings for Jaakuna, but this much surprised her. How could he know? Her question was very quickly answered and followed with something that finally struck mild surprise in her. Not only had he met with Emiri (was it at the Highwaste? She would have to ask Savayna) but he wanted Jaakuna to marry her. Nadeline could not hide the spark in her eyes, nor could she not smile. She tried to bite her lip and cover her mouth, though she pinched Wesley harder, shooting him a 'did you hear that' look.

Nadeline nearly cheered in delight when Jaakuna agreed, but by this point she had managed to put her poker face back on, though she did pinch Wesley one more time with a 'I can't believe this wait until she finds out' look.

Wesley felt each and every pinch. Even as Hamut and Jaakuna would talk, Nadeline felt the need to pinch him as hard as she possibly could. He was wincing each time she did. For a very thin princess, Nadeline sure had the pinches of a Behemoth King. Wesley would thank the gods that she stopped just as Jaakuna had accepted the proposal. Though, Wesley didn’t know if Jaakuna knew what he really signed up for. He pretty much gave his word that he would marry Emiri and the two of them would rule Archadia together. Wesley knew Emiri, but he didn’t know her as well as Nadeline would, so he leaned into Nadeline. “Do you think Emiri would actually go for this?” He whispered into her ear, hoping the others wouldn’t hear them.

As Hamut would release a sound like ‘mmm’ as a sign of being pleased with Jaakuna’s acceptence of his proposal, the Judge would speak. “Now, as for how you three would get into Archadia, it’s quite simple.” He stated. “Myself and Isaiah will take you in as our prisoners.” Hamut simply said.

Wesley couldn’t believe it. Was this a trap or not? “And what makes you think that we’ll go along so smoothly?” Wesley barked out.

Hamut eyed the boy. “Oh, I was under the assumption that you wanted to save Jackson’s future wife? If not, then I’ll simply take my leave.” Hamut said as he was actually about to leave.

Jaakuna put his arm in the air. “No Grandfather, we’re serious.” Jaakuna said, looking to Wesley, eyes just pleading with him. “Aren’t we, Wesley?”

Wesley sighed. “Yes, I apologize.” Wesley simply said.

“Very well then, this is how it’s going to go down. Isaiah and myself will bring you three to Archadia under the false charge of aiding and abetting an enemy of the state. We both will place you in the dungeons, of course we will give you keys to break out and then what you three do after that is solely up to you. Understood?” He said, stating what they all would do.

Wesley nodded and said nothing. Jaakuna did the same.
When Emiri chose to speak, Vincent was a little angry at what she said. The fact that she brought up Savayna and what she did when she betrayed him was deeply bothering him. Though, when she would make a note at how that’s the Archadian’s operate, he smiled. He couldn’t deny that’s indeed how they did operate. “You’re indeed right, Emilia. Though Savayna is a traitorous whore, she is an Archadian and we Archadians always respect that of which we say. If we say we’re going to do something, then we do it. As the whore said, she let you go after you did what she wanted, and as the Emperor, I promise to do the same.” He said.

It wouldn’t be before long that they came to the palace of sorts. They would step out of the aircab and proceed to walk into the building in front of them. As they would, Vincent would not lead her to his office. Oh no, he would go a different route. This one was more south and below the surface level. It would be revealed to the both of them that they were in the dungeons. Yes, it would seem that Vincent wanted to show Emiri someone that she might find interesting to see.

As they would come to a stop at a cell, in front of them, was Grant in his cell. “Grant, you have a visitor.” Vincent would say very cold and smugly.

Apparently Savayna was a sore topic for the Emperor. Emiri felt mildly satisfied that at the very least just once she managed to get a shot at him. The aircab stopped, and as they got out, she was greeted with a view of a very tall, grand building. She had heard much about Archades being the pinnacle of modern society, but this was the first time she had ever actually seen it. She admitted she was somewhat impressed by this. As she followed Vincent, she couldn't help but notice that they were heading downwards. For one reason or another, it struck her as odd. It almost reminded her of the holding cells--was this their dungeon, so to speak? Why was he leading her here?

Eventually, they stopped in front of a cell. Emiri looked in, only to see Grant looking right back at her. Hamut did mention that they had Grant prisoner, but to see that it was true was still somewhat surprising. Grant rose from his bench, approaching the door. While there was still the door between the two, Emiri found herself backing away from him. She couldn't keep her anger under wraps, it was written all over her face and body language. She turned to Vincent, clearly pissed off. "What is the meaning of this?!" She half-yelled, half-demanded to know, and she absentmindedly clutched her shoulder.

Grant shook his head, letting out a wistful sigh. "Yes, Vincent, I too would like to know." He responded, though he looked right at Emiri's shoulder. "Seems like you have gotten my gift. A reminder of sorts."

Emiri stared at him, wide eyed, though her eyes turned watery. She put a hand to her mouth and turned away from him and Vincent. Gods, why was this happening?
At Wesley's question, Nadeline wondered the same thing. "We'll just have to see, won't we?"

Was it really that much of a shock that Emiri had? Vincent didn't see why, but it would seem that by the reaction from her that she despised Grant. Vincent smiled at this fact. It truly was amusing the way she would clutch her shoulder and back away in terror and even demand why he had brought her to him. Even Grant was aboard that train of wanting to know why Vincent brought the two to each others sight. He smiled and spoke. "It's quite simple really." Vincent said, "you two are engaged, no? I thought it was only the proper thing to do before the dear prince here is put to death tomorrow for his crimes against the Empire." He spoke without even so much of a pity thought.

As he said that, Vincent would motion one of the guards to escort Emiri away to his office. As they would do that, Vincent would walk into the cell, close the door behind him, and also motion the other guards to leave. He would stare at Grant with a very fake smile. "Dear prince, you tried didn't you?"
When Hamut had finished saying what he had to say about how they would get to Archadia, Hamut would clear his throat. "For this to work, you three will be arrested here in front of everyone. " He said, as he stood up. He would take out Mega Flare, and he spoke in a loud, clear voice. "I, First Judge Magister of the Archadian Imperial Court,Brandon Bahamut Ira Darcone, hereby place the three of you — Jackson Jaakuna Tunick Hinoko Darcone, Nadeline Lenore Roselia-Rozarria, and Wesley Alexander Dalamasca — under arrest for being Enemies of the State." Hamut said loudly so that everyone would hear him. It was no doubt that the people were whispering, some booed, some cheered, and some simply ignored it. Added to that, Ixion would also aid.

As the five of them left —three of them in anti-magick cuffs — they would depart from the Sandsea Tavern and make their way to Hamut's ship, The Dreadnaught Atomos. They would all be in cuffs and be in the same cell without cuffs on them, but without their weapons. Hamut had to make is as real as fake arrests could get.

In the cells, Jaakuna just hopes this would go according to their plan. "I do hope this goes well." Jaakuna said, "or else we're going to be fucked." Jaakuna said, joking about this whole situation.

"Hardly a joke, don't you think?" Wesley said as he couldn't help but chuckle.

"I got to find some humor in it all." Jaakuna said, and then something just hit him. "Oh wow, just realizing it's been three years since I left Archadia." Jaakuna smiled, half-relieved , half-stressed. Jaakuna never thought he would be back before things got better. "Oh well."

Vincent was messing with her, and it was working. Gods, how she hated to admit that, but seeing Grant completely broke her composure. As he spoke, she almost didn't hear him, but she was in disbelief. Grant was to be executed. That couldn't be true, could it? What bothered her more was the fact that it actually bothered her. After everything he put her through, the fact that he was going to die shook her to the core. No, it couldn't, she hated him, she didn't care what happened to him. But it did. And she didn't know why. Gods knew how many times she cursed him, hated him, but this...she was so confused. She actually felt the tears run down her cheeks, and she didn't understand. Grant shook his head. "I am sorry." He stated simply. Sorry? Why was he apologizing? He thought apologizing would suddenly fix everything?! She was so angry, so frustrated, so confused that the guards had to drag her away--not from her resisting, but the fact that she was rooted to her place.

Grant watched as Emiri was taken away, letting out a small sigh. So Vincent decided to dangle her in front of him, did he? He had to admit, it did sting a little. He was well aware that she despised him, but her terror only proved that he still had his grip on her after all. But now she was in his hands. "Do be gentle on my beloved, she is a sensitive thing." He said quietly as she disappeared from his sights, and now he gave the Emperor his full attention. "What was that? Forgive me, the sight of her tears upsets me." He spoke.
It must have been hard returning to one's home in such circumstances. Nadeline leaned against the wall, her arms crossed as she thought carefully. Sure, getting arrested was never a good thing (boy was her father going to freak when he found out she had been arrested twice!) but she only prayed all of this would go well. She didn't know what Vincent wanted with Emiri, she only knew he was bad and her being around him was bad. As the boys conversed, Nadeline looked at her nails, though she was deep in thought. She did agree with Jaakuna on one thing--one mistake and there would be no getting out of this.

"You do know the layout of where we are going, correct?" She asked for conversation's sake.

When NAdeline would ask Jaakuna if he knew the layout of the dungeon, he chuckled up a bit. He only did it cause he remembered being a teenager and playing around in the dungeons. It had been so long, but even so, Jaakuna remembers like it was yesterday. "Ah yes, I do remember. How could I not? Vincent and I — before he turned to fancy-douchipants — used to play there all the time. We played Hide and Seek, tag. Granted, it was much to my father's displeasure, but I remember it so vividly." Jaakuna said as his eyes would be filled with nostalgic gleam. That would be obvious.

As Wesley heard Jaakuna speak of a time where he was happy to be in Archadia, the Dalmascan prince couldn't help but smile. It might have been only a short few days ago, but Wesley had grown fond of being Jaakuna's friend, and he would hope the feeling is mutual. "So, you have no doubts that you would be able to lead us to freedom once we escape?" WEsley said, asking Jaakuna if he would be able to get them out once they're in.

Jaakuna looked to Wesley, smiling hugely. "Don't worry, I can do it or my name isn't Jaakuna Tunick Hinoko, which it is." Jaakuna said laughing.
When Emiri had left by the order of Vincent, the Emperor himself stepped into Grant's cell. He looked at him, pretty much telling him that he tried something, but he would ignore Vincent. The Emperor didn't let that get to him as he would repeat himself. "Oh that's quite alright. I was just saying that you must have tried didn't you?" Vincent said sitting down at one of the chairs in the cell. "I mean, really good effort, but you must know I have eyes and ears all over." Vincent said smiling
The Archadian Soldiers that led Emiri into the office would leave once she was already inside. It would only be moments before she would come to see a man of slim figure and long, green hair. His outfit tight and loose all at the same time. His looks would make any woman swoon and faint. "Ah, so you're the honorary guest that my sire has got himself." Said Michelangelo, eyeing Emiri. "It is a pleasure, milady." He said kneeling down, taking her hand, and kissing it. He would raise and let go of her hand. "And do not worry, unlike milord, I am not one to fear."

As she was led to the office, Emiri managed to get a hold of herself, wiping her tears away. She couldn't believe Vincent or Grant. As she entered the office, she was greeted by a rather handsome man. She blinked at him as he spoke to her, slightly confused by him. Honorary guest? Truly, this was all some kind of sick joke, it just had to be. But he was definitely different from Vincent, his words were true, this much she could tell. "A...A pleasure." She replied, feeling slightly nervous. Oh gods, she was totally falling for his charm, wasn't she? What was wrong with her today?! She mentally berated herself, trying to regain her composure as she looked at Michel. Still, maybe this was a good chance to ask Michel about Grant. "Is it true...is Prince Grant really going to be executed?" She asked him quietly.
Grant raised an eyebrow at Vincent, though he was pretty sure he was referring to Levi. Of course she had lied, he knew that much. Except he had hoped he would have been out of the cell when she betrayed him. Damn, traitors back stabbed too early these days. "Tried...to...?" He asked curiously, placing one hand on his hip. If he was talking about Levi, why didn't he just come out and say it? And what happened to the trial? For the first time in a long time Grant was actually confused. It was an odd feeling, really. He normally knew how to handle things, but for once, he was at a loss.
Hearing Jaakuna laugh made Nadeline feel a whole lot better. She was glad, now she didn't have to worry about him too much. "Well...we will be counting on you then." She grinned at him and Wesley, though her expression turned into something more thoughtful. "I do wonder...not that I doubt you-know-who, but making sure we have the keys...Will he really be able to pull it off?" She asked Jaakuna curiously. She half expected the man to come in here and yell at her some more. Would Jaakuna be like him when he got older? It was a funny picture, imagining Jaakuna yelling at his own grandchildren. She giggled slightly.

When Emiri would ask Michel if Prince Grant really was going to be executed, he smiled, and he would motion her to follow him to take a seat. As they did, he would speak. "Ah yes, he is indeed."He spoke. "The prince in question is facing crimes against the empire and he will answer for them." Michel said without even hesitation. He did no know much about the prince himself. He only knew what he encountered first hand, but he had heard of the tales of the mighty Prince Grant Marshall Roselia. Just think about it made Michel laugh. "Milady, do tell me what your interest in the prisoner is?" He asked politely.
"Plot against me of course." He said

Vincent knew what Grant had done. Of course he knew. Levi, after all, has a reputation of truly having no loyalties. She was going into Grant's cell on his orders after all. Vincent wanted to know how long exactly it would take the Rozarrian Prince to agree to plot against him. It really didn't take long, a little persuading from Levi and he was hooked. It was like taking Sunstone Candy from a little viera baby. Though, Vincent does have to admit Grant's caution on the matter. He really was planning on keeping it as a guise for as long as he could, but he was found out.

"I'll admit, it definitely took you longer than I predicted to cave in. Levi is one persuasive lady, but usually people give into her temptations right off the bat. You should be proud dear prince. However, as well as a game you did play, you lost and I won. " He said standing up. Turning away from Grant, he started walking only to stop right at the gate. "Oh, you should know. Once your darling Emilia does what I ask of her, she will be slain and will be right in front of your eyes." He said, smiling and licking his lips.
As Jaakuna would listen to Nadeline ask him if his grandfather would be able to help them, Wesley would also wonder that very same thing. If it were true that Hamut could surely do that, then they would be safe. However, if for whatever reason that he couldn't, they truly would be in a dire situation. Wesley couldn't help but have the worst-case scenario at the back of his mind, but also it would make its way to the front portion of his thoughts as he continued to think about it.

Jaakuna would stand from his previous sitting position, placing one arm over his chest and the other on top of it and his hand placed under his chin. He would think. "My grandfather might be a judge, but he is a man of his word. There are many things we Archadians are —" Jaakuna just heard himself. He hasn't referred himself as an Archadian in three years." — , but, liars is not one of them. We are people of their word. I can't speak for my scumbag brother, but a few people come to mind: myself, my grandfather, Savayna, and my..." Jaakuna's voice soon trailed onto silence. "my mother." Jaakuna had less energy when he said that. He couldn't bare to see the look on his mother's face now. She must be so disappointed in him and she should be. It's been three years and he didn't even do as much as send her a message. Jaakuna couldn't really think about that right now. Though, just thinking of his mother, tears started to form. Jaakuna cut his previous position and turned away and wiped them away. "Sorry about that." Jaakuna said, apologizing,"but yeah, my grandfather will be able to do it. He isn't the head of Archadia's most influential house for a reason." He said laughing, but who was he kidding? Jaakuna was just as worried as they were, but he didn't want to show it.

Nadeline put her hands in the air, as if signaling defeat. "My apologies, I will not question it again." She smiled, though she placed one hand on her hip, the other on her chin as she thought carefully. "There will be no room for error. One mistake and your grandfather's efforts will be for nothing--as will our lives. We go in, get Emi, get out." She nodded, more to confirm her own thoughts. Yes, they would get past this, as always. They were all going to get out of there together. This was just another test from the gods, one she was determined to learn from and get through. "Wesley, Jaakuna, now more than ever, I will be counting on you both."
Grant half expected as much. Good thing he wasn't counting on her or anything, he pretty much figured he was doomed either way. He rolled his eyes, Vincent acted like that had actually mattered. The moment he had him arrested he knew Vincent would be an enemy. Truly, this was all a game to him. wasn't it? Grant wasn't amused, nor could he share Vincent's sense of humor. He let him talk, knowing it would probably be more bullshit--until he mentioned Emiri. Apparently, once he was done with her, he'd kill her. He was in disbelief, and he had stood up as well. He wanted to yell, to hit him, beat him to a bloody pulp, but no matter how much he willed it, he couldn't even move. He slowly sank back onto the bench, defeated. "Truly, you play to win." He managed to say.
So it was true after all. Emiri let out a sigh, rubbing her arms slightly. Michel seemed amused by this, but she didn't really care. No, she actually found herself caringmore about Grant. Why? Maybe because as soon as she heard that, she recalled their time together. Those moments of silence in the library, the times he would duel with Nadeline, the days they would spend sitting in the gardens together. She didn't love him, but the truth was that they were friends, and she didn't want to admit that. Maybe that's why it bothered her so much. He was still an asshole, but he didn't deserve to die like that. Gods, why did this have to happen? She could have gone the rest of her life not knowing about him, and now she felt like her entire world was shattered around her.

"He's just...an old friend." Emiri replied quietly.

Vincent turned his head slightly seeing the look on Grant. It was defeat. The man that had always exemplified a strong will seemed to finally be defeated. Vincent loved every bit of this. He had finally broke down the great Prince Grant. He had finally got this man a broken shell. He finally won. Vincent would say nothing. All he would do was simply walk out and not look back.
Both Wesley and Jaakuna nodded to Nadeline. She was absolutely right about how if there was even one misstep, one mistake, they would all be done for. Jaakuna knew it and Wesley knew it. If they were to get out of this, Jaakuna especially would have to step up to the plate and lead them along the dungeons when that time came. Jaakuna would sit down and just wait out the time until they had arrived to Archadia. It would be a tough one, but they all would just have to endure it.

It wouldn't be before long, ten minutes or so until the Dreadnaught Atomos would arrive at the Archades Aerodome. Within a minute or so, Hamut would come and get them. He would notify them that they would have to be in the anti-magick cuffs. Jaakuna just shrugged to it. Not long after that, they were escorted by Hamut, Ixion, and five Archadian Soldiers. They would be brought through the aerodome and already people were whispering to each other, leaning to each other as they would shout out "IT'S THE DISGRACED PRINCE!" Just about every one of them said something to that affect. That wasn't all, sadly. There was also mention about Nadeline and Wesley. Crowds gathered, it was like something out of a scandalous TV show or something like that. People taking pictures and it even got to the point where people were blocking the way. The Archadian soldiers just shoved them out of the way. Eventually, everyone got out of the Aerodome and got into three aircabs — Ixion and two soldiers got in one, Bahamut and the Prisoners got in another, and the remaining soldiers got in the last one. As each cab would take off, the would head off to the direction to Vincent's office.

Inside the cab with Bahamut and the prisoners, Bahamut would speak. "Okay, listen up. You three will be placed in the dungeons, of course you know this already." He said just laughing a bit. "One hour after you three get booked and sent to your individual cells, underneath each bench you'll each find a special remote-like device that will disable the lock on your doors. You'll only have ten minutes before the signal is sent to Intellignece. I suggest you make use of that time." He said as they would arrive at the Emperor's Office. "From here on out, you're on your own." Hamut said looking to Jaakuna. "Jackson, I'm sorry things had to be this way. I truly am sorry the way we left things. I should have never said that about your mother.." Hamut said as a tear could be seen dropping from his eye. He would then step out and the three of them did as well. They would be guided to the office.
Michel just smiled at what Emiri had just said. He could tell that the prisoner, Grant was much more than a friend to her, but it wasn’t like he really cared. Michel was only in the office waiting for Vincent to return, and sure as it is. Think about him and he shall appear. “Oh, Milord.” Michel rose up from the seat, and quickly bowed down to one knee. Vincent waved his hand and spoke “That’s enough Michel. Leave us.” “Yes milord.” Michel would proceed to leave. “Goodbye, milady.” He said shooting Emiri a wink.

As Michel would leave, he would look to Emiri. He would proceed to go sit at his chair and motioned Emiri to take a seat at one of the chairs near his desk. “You’ll be staying in our guest chambers tonight. In the morning, you will do what I asked. then you can leave. Does that sound fair to you?” Vincent said.

Grant closed his eyes as he thought to himself. Tomorrow, he and Emiri would be executed. There had to be a way at the very least to spare her. He briefly recalled Vlyn's charm, and for a moment, he wondered if it would even reach him. Upon carving his spell onto Emiri's shoulder, it should have put a spell on it. He wasn't even sure if he was going to be able to set it off, no doubt the cell may have been magic proof. Still, it was worth a shot. If successful, it'd alert Vlyn to her location. Maybe he could get her out, of get help, or something. Anything.
Michel remained silent. Emiri let out a sigh, putting a hand to her head. Boy oh boy, she never thought she would see the day that she'd actually wish she could help Grant. Maybe she could get him out of there? At that moment, she felt her shoulder tingle, as if her thought of him had done something. Actually, it burned. She lifted her sleeve a bit, and to her surprise, it was bare. Where had the markings gone? She didn't have much time to think about it, as Vincent entered the room. Michel was dismissed, and once again she found herself alone with him. She didn't like the idea of actually staying in Archades, but she figured she wasn't going to have many options.

"Yes." She responded to Vincent.
Oh, if Father wasn't going to be angry before, now for certain I will be receiving the lecture of my life.

Getting arrested on the Ark was one thing. Despite the circumstances, Savayna and Grant made sure the thing was kept under wraps. Getting arrested in Archadia was almost humorous to the crowd, it seemed. She was in disbelief, and downright insulted. She couldn't believe how she was being treated like some common criminal, it was outrageous! She huffed but said nothing, merely puffing out her cheeks in frustration. She would see to it that Jaakuna would feel her wrath if anything went wrong, that much was for certain!

As Emiri simply answered, Vincent smiled. He would get up, slowly making his way to Emiri — or at least that’s most likely how it felt like to her — and he ran a hand through her hair. He would lean in close, sniff her hair. Oh, how she smelt like true beauty. “It’s no wonder my brother likes you so much.” He said so tempted to take her by force here, but he wouldn’t. He would simply sniff her hair a bit more and remove his hand from her head. He would then signal one of the soldiers in the room to take Emiri to her room. “I shall see you bright and early.” He said as he let the guard take her away.

As Emiri would be led out(still in the room), Vincent‘s assistant would buzz. “Sir, Judge Hamut has his prisoners and requests to see you with them.”

Vincent smiled. “Send them in.”

“Yes sir.”

As they were all sent in, Hamut would lead them through the office, turning a corner. As they would head down a hall, a soldier would cross them going the alternative direction, and there she was. Jaakuna couldn’t believe it. Emiri had just passed him. Jaakuna would turn his head looking at her. They would exchange looks and then she turned the corner and they would get into the Emperor’s office.

Appearing before Vincent, Hamut walked in with the prisoners. Jaakuna couldn’t say he was excited to see his brother, but alas here he was and there he was. As they would come to a stop, Hamut would appear behind them as the three prisoners were set in a straight line: Jaakuna, Nadeline, and Wesley, is the order that they were in. “I present to you, the prisoners, Vincent.” Hamut said.

Vincent smiled proudly, smugly, and just too proud of this very moment. “Thank you Grandfather. Please leave us.”
“As you wish.”

Hamut would leave them, and now they were alone with Vincent.

“Oh, how I dreamed of this moment, Jackson. These three years have been brutal and now you’re here.” Vincent started to trace around his desk, and coming to a stop in front of Jaakuna. “Do you have any idea the kind of hell that you’re in for? “He said as he kneed Jaakuna right in the gut as hard as he could. The amount of force placed into that one shot sent ripples through Jaakuna’s body and it would bring him to his knees. He grunted in pain and started to cough up blood.

Wesley saw Jaakuna get kneed in the gut. “What was that for!?” WEsley called out.

Vincent eyed Wesley. “Ah, Prince Wesley — an honor.” He said smiling, but that would only last for a brief moment as he would punch Wesley in the face, sending Wesley to stagger back.

Vincent would signal the soldier in the room to raise up Jaakuna as he was still coughing up blood. He was in so much pain as he was forced up. He would look at Jaakuna and spit in his face. He would just let punch after punch after punch hit Jaakuna arcross his face, which included his eyes, nose, lips, forehead, ears, and cheeks. Each part got three punches and at the end of it, Jaakuna was so bloodied up. His grunts of pain got louder and louder as each punch was dealt. The end result for Vincent’s assault on his brother bruised up his hands. After shaking his hands and wiping the blood off, he would speak once more. “You three are to be held in the dungeons and executed tomorrow for crimes against the empire.” Vincent said all calm.

Jaakuna could barely see or hear or even speak, but Wesley could do all of that and he knew that it would be tough to get out, but he knew they would have to force their way through any pain they would endure.

As Vincent approached her, for some reason Emiri felt rather nervous. As he got closer, she could feel him run a hand through her hair. For some reason, his actions sent a chill up her spine. She didn't know what he was doing, nor did she know how to react. Step away? Ask him what he was doing? Luckily, the moment ended, and she was sent away. She shuddered somewhat, though she followed the soldier. She stared ahead, though she tried to see where she was. Maybe if she memorized the layout, she could get to Grant...somehow. He said he needed her in the morning, right? Damn, she should have asked Michel what time the execution was supposed to be.

She let out a sigh, closing her eyes for a moment. When she opened them, she saw Jaakuna. Wait, Jaakuna? Her mind went blank as she saw him, Wesley, and even Nadeline, though she only looked at Jaakuna. What in Ivalice were they doing here? Did she finally go crazy? But it was certainly reality, and they passed by one another. Why? Why were they here too? Was Vincent going to use Jaakuna to make sure she succeeded? She certainly would not put it past him. But then why bring Wesley and Nadeline? She couldn't make any sense of this.

Nadeline was about to call out to her, but something in the corner of her eye caught her attention. She looked, but it was gone. She could have sworn she saw what looked like Vlyn, but it couldn't be. He was certainly back in Rozarria, or Rabanatre, right? She looked back at Emiri, who was led away. She didn't look like she had been harmed; at the very least she could be relieved by this much.

Emiri was led to a room, and once the door was closed behind her, she tried to recollect her thoughts. Jaakuna and Grant, she needed to make sure they were both safe. But how? One thing was for certain, she would not leave here without either of them. She wondered if her room would be guarded. She tried to open the door and found it locked. That would have been much too easy. She sat on the edge of the bed, letting out a sigh as she closed her eyes. She opened them, half hoping to see Jaakuna again, but she knew she wouldn't

One thing she knew was this: Vincent had better keep an eye on her, because at the first opportunity, she was going to escape him.
Emperor Vincent reminded Nadeline much of Roman, but he still had some hints of Jaakuna in resemblance. Her thoughts flew out the window as Vincent hit Jaakuna. She let out a gasp as he began to beat on Jaakuna. It was brutal and pointless, delivering pain for the sake of it. She couldn't bear to watch, looking away and trying not to waver. She couldn't believe he would do this to his own brother! She couldn't imagine what any normal person would do their siblings, but this certainly wasn't it. It was terrible, and Jaakuna was very well beaten badly. She looked at Wesley nervously.
