No one is for sure of what caused it, or who patient zero is. It happened to fast that the government couldn't gain control of the situation. Cities fell, and people died by the millions. Many of them crossing over. The first city to fall was new york, the government was able to quarantine it last minute, but couldn't save the population. The following few nights they were over run. The epidemic spread like wild fire. The next week it showed up in Los Angeles. The national guard and reserves were called up, by they couldn't slow down the progression of the disease. The military wasn't equipped to handle the onslaught of this new threat. Washington DC fell soon after, including all of the nation's leaders. It was chaos. Those who stayed and fortified found themselves either overrun or starved for help. Bleak times lay ahead for any survivors.
"Hello listener! This is a radio announcement to assist you living on the day to day basis!
Here are symptoms of The Disease in five easy stages:
-Stage One: Having been bitten by a drone, or "Nest Queen, Witch" The infected area will swell,become irritated and may burn. Approximate time of stage, 3 Hours.
-Stage Two: Nausea, dizziness, vomiting blood, weakness, and fatigued. Approximate time of stage, 3 hours.
-Stage three: Intense migraines, anti-social behaviors, Pain in sunlight and high body temperature. Approximate time of stage, 2 hours.
-Stage four: Aggression to other humans, skin burns in sunlight, pale, grey skin, and loss of body hair and teeth. Approximate time of stage, 1.5 hours
-Stage Five (Final Stage): Skin burns offs, due to light including ambient moon light. body structure begins to change shape, bones shift and remnants of humanity leave. intense hunger for blood and human flesh. Hearing heightens, strength increases, sight reduces, smell reduces, loss of communication. Approximate time of stage, .5 hours.
The disease strips humanity from the infected,
1.)It causes they're flesh to be replaced by a fleshy light red skin, with a tough endoskeleton.
2.)The arms elongate, the hands become large the finger tip bones grow into sharp claws that burst through the skin.
3.)Small bone spikes sometimes form over different areas of the body.
4.)The eye sockets become larger exposing more of the eyes
5.)The jaw becomes hinged, the new teeth are all long and very sharp with small tubes to drink the blood of victims easier.
6.)The tongue grows longer, and the back of the throat forms barbs that help push meat to the stomach.
7.)Much of the skin or flesh around the jaws flake off giving them a larger bite.
8.)The ears also are shed, and replaced by large boney ears.
9.)The nose is shed leaving only small slits in the face.
They hunt primarily at night working as a pack, though during the day as long as they're not exposed to direct sunlight they can be active. They work in hives with a Nest Queen or Witch
The queen is held in a large building where her strongest/oldest drones live. The rest will usually occupy smaller buildings or caves making a semi perimeter. At night the drones leave to hunt, and bring the queen back food or blood which they can store in the stomachs and regurgitate. It is currently unknown how queens are made, and what one even looks like.
They can run faster than a human, and are stronger than an average adult male.
It seams the only ways to kill one of the infected is too drive a stake through its heart, to remove its head, destroy the brain, expose to sunlight, or to light the creature on fire.Though all measures should be incorporated to ensure death as sometimes on rare occasions the creature can still function with one of these measures except for the fire, and sunlight that usually reduces them to a charred corps.
It has been seen that religious symbols agitate them, though it depends on what their former religion was. It will deter them for a short amount of time. It is advised to carry at least a cross.
As a warning, stay away from densely populated areas, tunnels, areas that are not illuminated by natural sunlight, and during the night to seek refuge in secure location.
They're drawn to loud noises, and during the night they will be drawn too lights.

When making your character you'll have a "starting limit"
5 Survival equipment /Weapons.
Two to three things of food ( Your choice )
Basic clothes (t-shirt, pants, long johns ect.)
Basic job, before the end of the world ( No like spy, or special forces, or elite killing machine ) The job will sort tell us what you're character is good at.
Along with the basic job two to three hobbies which will do the same.
Former Job: Chef ( Cooking )
Hobby1:Fixing cars ( Car Mechanics )
Hobby2:Hunting ( Rifles )
Hobby3:Free Running ( Moving around urban areas)
With these your character could be pretty good at shooting, fixing cars, cooking and parkour.
Hunting:
Such as other characters would miss with shooting the rifle, maybe have less ability to track prey or escape enemies.
Fixing Cars:
Be able to easily repair cars that are found.
Free Running:
Able to move around urban areas with easy, and able to escape much easier in the city.
