This is what you consider an excess of Pokemon hatchlings?

Call me when you have three boxes full of all-female Fennekins. Noting that only about 20% (I think?) of starters turn out female, and that I wound up just releasing all the males to conserve space.

But yeah it shouldn't take you long to wonder trade a mere party full of hatchlings.

Now, here's what you do: Trade some of those abras off until you find a Ditto that is foreign to your country. Take that Ditto and breed it with one abra over and over again. Eventually a shiny will pop out. Faster than normal, actually.

Nargle considers a mere seven Abras "too many". I'm not sure she's ready for Masuda breeding.

Thank you for this genuinely helpful suggestion. I have one that I'm using, but I caught it. So that's something I'll try for.

I'm also tryna max out my style so I can get the hatching o power, but I got distracted by Looker.

...No but seriously. I wasn't trying to come off as elitist; I genuinely think you wouldn't find the Masuda breeding experience enjoyable if you consider 7 hatchlings to be excessive.

Masuda breeding is how I wound up with a bunch of Fennekins and how Foxxie got so many Charmanders. Your odds of getting a shiny from Masuda breeding are, what, about 1 in 800 I think? I mean that's still way better than your usual shiny odds but it means you'll probably have to hatch hundreds in order to get a shiny. :/ Fair warning.

Sorry for how I worded that the first time.

Edit: I mean Masuda breeding was tedious and it took a long time but eventually I got a gorgeous shiny Delphox and I love her. :3 So yeah you could go ahead and try it if you want - just know what you're getting into, you know?
