I hope you still took screenshots. If those two people aren't online at the same time today then I don't really see the need to continue that as an option. Most people want to play ASAP.

I also want to do the slow expanding world border atlas mentioned. He explained all the benefits to it.

And a world border is great. I don't know where atlas suggested it, but I made the same suggestion several pages back.

But I guess it's different for me. I actually like the feel of starting from scratch with nothing but some wood planks on my back.

Trip wants to keep his stuff, and so stuff will be kept. I accepted that a few days ago.

Apparently we can't afford to avoid proximity. We kill the server when we do.

Yeah, I went through that when I first started playing Minecraft. The prospect of losing all my hard earned stuff was just a horrible notion for me.

Then a few resets and restarts later, along with numerous new servers, I've learned to just enjoy the game and not worry too much about the crap that I got.

With a few clicks, Gyig could easily give Tripz an inventory full of diamond blocks. I've got a double chest full of diamond lvl 30 enchanted tools, weapons, and armor, but it's all pretty much worthless in the end. Tis why I contented myself with enchanting things for other people and handing out resources where I could. My own stash does me no good ultimately.

It's not just Trip, actually. There are others who want to keep their stuff (who said so more in the game itself and on Skype than in the thread), which I think is part of why he's pushing so hard for it.

which is why nothing gets done. So don't make demands when I'm the only one bothering to go and contact people elsewhere. I'm doing it out of generosity, not some intense desire to keep all my shit like you guys are saying. I already discussed a full reset with giygas yesterday and the possibility that the majority of people wanted it that way. However, some spoke up in favor of keeping their junk and Atlas told me it wasn't quite the hassle I expected.

I don't know why you guys need everything spelled out when this shit seems self-evident by the fact that I'm not the admin.

And Toellner, Awson is just this way with me. I've learned to accept it.

Giygas tested it himself, it's his server, and he's outright said he didn't get the most high end deal you could get for a server, so yes it's most likely the fact that we were exploring 29k blocks out.

The other reason a slow-expanding border is good is because, as I was told yesterday: in 1.8 the lag is actually worse for a bit (on multiplayer servers) while chunks are being loaded. Once it's all explored then the game runs smoothly. The guys on mindcrack server apparently set a small world-size with a slow expanding border to address this very problem, and they do it pretty well with twice our highest turnout on spamcraft.

But don't take my word for it, ask Giygas and Atlas.

Stop taking everything personally jfc. This drama and TWD s2e5 are going to stop my heart.

The problem is the lack of communication. And everyone PMing each other isn't the answer. We shouldn't have to seek out everyone to gather data for our discussions. They should come to the one place where we all are, and that has a record. Here.

And I don't think having private conversations with the Admin is the right way to go about this when we're all making the decisions together. I was running with the idea of him reading this thread and making up his mind that way.

It might not have gone that way because it wasn't established, but it's the only way that makes sense to me.

And the reason you think I'm after you is because you're the main one who's participating in these discussions with me. The people you're "representing" aren't here half the time!

P.S. If you keep insisting that I'm acting a certain way towards you, then I'll help you out and make it very clear when I'm cross with you because that shit is really starting to piss me off.
