In the Age of Ancients the world was unformed, shrouded by fog. A land of gray crags, Archtrees and Everlasting Dragons. But then there was Fire and with fire came disparity. Heat and cold, life and death, and of course, light and dark. Then from the dark, They came, and found the Souls of Lords within the flame. Nito, the First of the Dead, The Witch of Izalith and her Daughters of Chaos, Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights. And the Furtive Pygmy, so easily forgotten.

With the strength of Lords, they challenged the Dragons. Gwyn's mighty bolts peeled apart their stone scales. The Witches weaved great firestorms. Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease. And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the Dragons were no more.

Thus began the Age of Fire. But soon the flames will fade and only Dark will remain. Even now there are only embers, and man sees not light, but only endless nights. And amongst the living are seen, carriers of the accursed Darksign.

Yes, indeed. The Darksign brands the Undead. And in this land, the Undead are corralled and led to the north, where they are locked away, to await the end of the world... This is your fate.

Only, in the ancient legends it is stated, that one day an undead shall be chosen to leave the undead asylum, in pilgrimage, to the land of ancient lords, Lordran.


Indeed, an undead was chosen to make the pilgrimage. The Chosen Undead's journey came to an end after he retrieved the souls of lords, feeding them to the lordvessel and finally defeating the empty husk of Gwyn, The Lord of Cinder. The undead was left with two choices then, give his soul to the first flame to rekindle the Age of Fire and continue the cycle, or neglect the flame and thrust the world into the Age of Dark. He chose the latter, allowing the flame to die out and becoming The "Dark Lord".

The Age of Fire, in its final death throes long before the Chosen Undead was even born, recieved its just end with the death of whatever remained of Lord Gwyn. His desperate action of linking the bonfires,which had only succeeded in prolonging the suffering in the world, would lie dead with him. Now, under new leadership, the world can finally move forward into the Age of Darkness and perhaps recover some of what it had lost. (Cited from http://darksouls.wikidot.com/ending)

But with the link between the bonfires fading, the only things holding the world together, there is little left to rule over. The abyss was allowed free reign after the waning of the first flame, corruption gradually spreading across the lands. What remains is twisted, broken. Desperate few civilizations remain, and what do are slowly gnawed away by beasts of the abyss and the curse of the undead. Those who fail to overcome the curse become mindless beings, only shells of their former being.

Half a century has passed, and a magical bulwark against the dark has been established by the most skilled mages of the land, though there are doubts it will hold for long. Hope is fading, and the undead curse is still widespread. The holders of the accursed darksign are corralled to the north, to await the time when the dark finally takes over. Do you have what it takes to keep your humanity in check, or will you go hollow like the land you live in?

Appearance: Tough and strong, surprisingly agile for his size. His eyes have a very unnatural green look that slightly glow. The gauntlets give off a light blue vapor that is cold to the touch.

Personality: Simon is usually a silent, humble, serious individual. Even though he often appears to others as boring or detached, he is willing to greet people with a smile and some kind advice, showing respect to skilled people both friends and foes. His patiant and calm demeanor quickly takes a back seat to his fiery personality in combat. He is a extremely powerful warrior whose sole reason for being is to hone his fighting skills by battling and destroying strong foes. He is also somewhat nihilistic by principle as he seeks someone able to kill him, a goal that turned pointless once he started to hollow. Simon abides by the code of the warrior. He fights to improve his skills and defeat powerful foes - though on rare occasion, he does so to gauge the other's abilities. Although he killed his teacher, he did so in combat, and thus can be said to have not transgressed on his principles. Althought he prefers a even bout, he is not above blind sighting an opponent and relying on trickery if he doesn't see his opponent as a worthy challenge to his skill.

History: During his human years Simon turned his back on people and kingdom, focusing all his time on training and personal improvement. After winning multiple high ranked tournaments he earned the honor of becoming an elite knight which he used to furder his personal training and fuel his quest for power. After the brand of the undead fell upon him he fled the kingdom with many enemies on his heels and no friends, a experiance that humbled him and forced him to look upon himself and soul search. Ironic for a hollow. He turned once again to his quest for combat to stave the hollowing away through the gain of strength. Until that fateful day, in a forest on the outskirts of Fedrimar, where the blood of a king was spilled.

Items:
Chain Shackless of Frost: A favoured weapon among the elite knights of Fedrimar. These gauntlets are used for hand to hand combat and the magical chains wrapped around them act as a catalist for casting a few specific types of magic. This magic bares similarities to the cristal magic Seath created. Combining magic with physical prowes has given the elite knights of Fedrimar a legendary status among their peers. The creation of these gauntlets is shrouded in mistery, smaller only to the mistery why those who wield them always meet a untimely death.
Pride of Fedrimar armor set: This armor set belongs to Ulrih Gorehaw. A Fedrimar elite knight who rose above the ranks of his peers with strength and cunning. His charisma and natural born leadership transformed the once back alley kid thief, in to a king loved by all. This finely crafted armor is Fedrimar's gratitude to their king. Pity, that their gratitude became his achilles heel.
Iron ring of the Vanguard: A ring worn by the elite knights of Fedrimar. A warrior must always set an example for others in combat. The wearers of this ring know how to beat respect and fear in to their enemies. Each hit seems to strike harder and harder, until the mountains topple from their power. ( stacks more damage on multple hits made on one target. Combo fiend >:0 )
Brass ring of Vigor: Boosts stamina recovery and dexterity of it's user. A common ring among the knights of Fedrimar. Each one bareing it's own scars to reveal the true face of it's owner. The ring seems to be of beautiful craftmanship with precious stones and pure gold, upon closer inspection it reveals itself to be nothing more but an ilusion, hiding an old brass ring. A fitting ring, for a man who dreams and lives in lies.
Pendant of the Amani demon: A small locket type pendant that oozes a sickly, evil aura. It is said that they are cursed items, holding demon blood within them, said to bring great misfortune to their owner. Stareing too long in to it makes the person hear strange voices and have weard dreams, eventually leading them to madness and acts of violence. The users, mad with power, tend to sacrafice their humanity to gain the demon's favour. These pendants are feared in Fedrimar and the knights sought to destroy them all. Despite their best efforts a few pendants still exist. Proof that the power the pendant provides should not be taken lightly. ( The user thrives on the choes of battle. When severely damaged and tired, the user gets a second wind and lashes out with great force and power, leaving himself vulnerable and exausted for a short period of time. If backed in to a corner, the user can sacrafice his humanity to the demon, unleashing hell on everything around him. After calming down, the demon takes control of the body and warps it in his imige. No one has ever managed to ressist it, as such, this act ends with the users death....and the birth of a powerfull demon. )

Magic:
Frost barrier: The user encases himself in a thin layer of magic that shatters the next time he takes damage to negate it. Conditions and force apply normaly. ( it can not protect from poisoning, bleeding ect. also if he falls from a big hight the force of the fall will still kill him. )
Freezing touch: Oozes out a huge ammount of cold on contact, quickly freezing the target. ( bigger targets take longer )
Glacieral rupture: Pounds his fist in to the ground, cracking it like glass and ice shards burst from below to impale enemies. ( radious is effect by the force of the pounding )
Shard Barrage: Performs a few quick punches that fire off sharp cristal like spikes that impale enemies. On shater, they create a smooth cold surface.
Whip: Unbinds the chains and uses them as a weapon. Since they are the catalist, while using them like this the user cant cast magic but the chains have a freezing touch magic apllied.
Winter's embrace: Creates a powerful blizzard and leaves nothing but frost and bitter cold in his wake. The users magic is amplified and his enemies suffer from the harsh conditions unless immune or protected.

ROLAND'S MUNDANE SWORD: This most ordinary looking blade is in the hands of most as useful as it looks, yet it has slain more creatures and people than some weapons of legend. Whatever hidden powers it may have however, it remains a practical and extremely versatile weapon in the hand of any adventurer.
EFFECT: Imbued with mundane, scales with lowest stat.

SMALL CRYSTAL WITH A LOCK OF HAIR: A memento given to departing knights by their beloved is white of color and seems extremely silky, it was however sealed in crystal as to prevent the grim of the world to taint its beauty. As an undead, this obviously was something to help Roland retain his humanity and by judging the apparent age of his gear, it worked extremely well for him.
EFFECT: Diminishes Roland's humanity lost, if broken will be destroyed but restore all humanity.

BRIDEWEALTH RING: A crystal object that rather than radiate power, seems to absorb it. This vessel contains part of Roland's bride price to be payed at his beloved's father once the amount, whatever may it be, is acquired.
EFFECT: Diminishes Roland's humanity lost, diminishes Soul Gain, on destruction create a powerful sorcery damaging according to the number of souls contained.

ROLAND'S OLD DENTED SHIELD: Doesn't protect a whole lot in comparison to others, but the design and weight seems to make the user able to dodge more.
EFFECT: Increase agility when rolling, rolling costs less stamina.

ROLAND'S MINIMALIST ARMOR: A simple design that projects the vital areas of the body that tend to be targeted when an opening is shown.
EFFECT: Prevents counter attack critical hits.

ROLAND'S STRANGE GLOVES: This piece of equipment seems to be imbued with strange powers that somehow weaken it against every elements, why would one wear an item with such susceptibility to all spells?
EFFECT: Lower general resistance to all elements, allow switching spells in middle of casting. Casting remains the same and finishes normally, spell changes.

ROLAND'S PATHETIC HELMET: Of a generic design, and in fact a thing that seems to come from a desperate industrial effort to manufacture cheap gear, those looking at this armor can't help but see a lesser foe.
EFFECT: Diminishes aggression of the wearer.

ROLAND'S COWARDLY GREAVES: It is as important to get in the fight quickly as it is to leave it quicker and to stay in it longer.
EFFECT: Increase Stamina Regeneration.

Name: Lucinda, Witch of the Black Flame
Age: Completely unknown, her complexion suggest hollowing at a younger age (around 30), but she gives no hint to how old she actually is.
Gender: Female
Appearance:



Lucinda does not look incredibly dangerous at first glance, at least not when you compare her to the many heavily armored, large weapon wielding adversaries inhabiting this dying land. She seems to be just a woman, cloaked in black. Though from a closer view you may see the burning in her eyes, and when the flames begin to spread it's very hard to dismiss her any longer. She stands just under six feet, with a thin form, though she carries her own whisper of power.

Personality:

Lucinda is like the fire she summons; dangerous with an elegant ferocity while calm, and overwhelming like an inferno when worked into a frenzy. She is rather aloof, and while revealing a great deal of her knowledge, reserves almost entirely any information about herself. She is a mysterious one, but a valuable ally all the same. And as an enemy Lucinda is something else entirely. You do not want to be her enemy.

History:

There is history somewhat written and variably spread about the Witch of the Black Flame. Lucinda is known for her peculiar talent when it comes to casting pyromancy and flame based sorceries. It is the unique color of certain flames she calls upon that caught attention, because few know of the Black Flame pyromancies, and even fewer can produce them.

Some say she was taught by Quelana, daughter of the Witch of Izalith, yet most believe the last daughter faded from the world long ago. Even still, Lucinda's skill with pyromancy suggests there may be truth to that claim.

Other: Like most details about Lucinda, what she actually is remains unknown. Perhaps she is just another undead, perhaps she is a ghost, or perhaps there are still touches of truly powerful souls left in the world.

Name: Furion, Last Son of Archeon

Age: Unknown, appears to be in his late 20's.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Standing at a monumental 9 foot even and rippling with muscles, Furion is very much a Son of Archeon. His eyes are a dark ember color that glow with a faint light only noticeable in the darkd and his hair would be dark brown if he didn't shave it. Furion's massive body is covered in scars, most are battle scars but some are self inflicted. The largest one is the Star of Battle, a holy symbol, branded across his chest. The rest are just symbols of little meaning or war scars from a battle he doesn't remember. However the tattoo that covers his face is dedicated to his god of battle.

Personality: Once upon a time Furion was a loud, angry man who would fight and kill with the smallest of provacation. However with age Furion has turned into a somber but wise man who can emphasize with the people he used to think as weak. Regret eats away at his heart for what he did to his brothers but he knows that he is too far gone to return to the ways of Angron. However When the blood begins to flow, both through his heart and through the air, Furion is reminded of what it means to be the Champion of Rudianos and falls into the barbarian rage in which his forgotten family was known for.

History: Furion hails from Angron, a small kingdom that could trace its roots back to a splinter group of Berenike knights. While most families lost the massive size the knights were known for, Furion's family has preserved it and as such breed the strongest warriors. His father, Archeon, was the current war master of the kingdom and pushed all his sons to go out and prove themselves in the eyes of their god, Angron the Twice Blooded. However during his trials, Furion found himself falling further and further into the Creed of Rudianos. The god of bloodshed and violence.

However, instead of fretting over his failure to gain Angron's attention Furion pushed himself further down the path of Rudianos. Eventually Furion was visited by Rudianos himself with his set of trails instead of the one set for his brothers. The way was long and bloody, ending with a climactic battle with his seven other brothers. At the end Furion was the victor and after claiming his siblings skulls for his own, was gifted with the arms and armor he is seen with. However, soon after gaining these gifts Furion died and awoke near a bonfire.

Confusion was later replaced with realization, then annoyance. With a shrug he returned home and was immediately met with anger for his actions and disgust for his current shape. Soon after a conflict between the knights of Angron and his father ensued that shattered the cohesion of the city of Angron. However even with his city shattered, his guards dead, and the abyss rearing its head, Archeon couldn't kill his only son. Instead he was banishd to the Asylum where Furion has stayed ever since.

Items:
Helm of Rudianos: A large, ornate helm decorated with the hair of an ancient dragon long dead and a face of fury twisted into the blood red metal. Rudianos has blessed the helmet with the ability to twist the wearers yells of rage into roars of unbridled fury, issuing a challenge to any and all.
EFFECT: Greatly increased aggro.

Breastplate of Rudianos: A large chest piece that covers all of the torso minus the arms. The inside is lined with small pins that sink into the wearers flesh when struck, causing his blood to run as freely as those he battles. However this matters not to a champion of Rudianos who will fight even harder when bleeding.
EFFECT: Gives a bonus to bleeding but pushes Furion into berserk rage.

Glove of Rudianos: A large, blood red glove with bronze trim that is worn on the left hand. Nothing more than a hand guard.
EFFECT: N/A

Grieves of Rudianos: These leggings are heavy, causing the wearers footsteps to boom loudly against the ground. However the treads on the soles gives the wearer a higher poise when on earth, mud, or gravel.
EFFECTS: Increased aggro on stone or metal but increased poise on earth, mud, or gravel.

Collar of Rudianos: A large, spiked collar that protects the wearer from attacks of a purely magic nature however the weight of the collar reminds the wearer who their master is and what they are a slave to.
EFFECT: Gives Furion a major defense boost against magic attacks.

Arm of Rudianos: A sleeve of heavy armor that covers the wearers right arm and is topped with a massive pauldron. This piece of armor is the closest thing that a champion of Rudianos gets however it works perfectly for their fighting style. While still a durable shield, its real strength comes with its ability to parry attacks.
EFFECT: Weak block but higher parry window.

Gorechild: This large axe was definitly made for a larger being. However for those strong enough to wield it, it becomes an incredibly dangerous weapon. Only gifted to the most worthy of Rudianos' champions the axe is rumored to be made from the bones and souls of dragons. However that is only speculation, but it would describe the blades seemingly ravenous hunger for blood.
EFFECTS: Massive damage and immense bleed chance.

Seven Skulls: The seven skulls of Furion's siblings. They were once a trophy, a worthy battle to gloat over. Now they are a reminder of his mistakes and motivation to be better.
EFFECTS: Reduced humanity lost. Should they be lost however, it would double humanity lost.

Other: Furion is strong enough to wield Gorechild with one hand.

Awesome apps, all of you are accepted! Though @Wernher, if it's not too much trouble I'd like to ask you to write up a short bio and personality for your character. I added those two requirements back in to provide more insight into characters. It doesn't need to be long, just a summary and you're free to keep it as vague as you'd like. Also, here's my character, it's just a sketch for now and I'll probably add on later, but it's all I can get out right now since I'm quite tired.

Name: Squire Berinhard of Lynn

Age: 17, though the knowledge is slipping from his mind.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Berinhard is short, standing at a mere 5'5 feet in height. He's slimmer of build, though has built up muscles from years of training and assisting his lord into his armor. Golden blonde hair that reaches down to his chin, usually in quite a mess. Dark brown eyes.

Personality: Above all else, Berinhard is stubborn. Once set on a course, there's little that can be done to change his mind. Has a will of steel and bravery to the point of recklessness, he will often throw himself into situations of unnecessary danger. Arrogant and quick to accuse. He's loud-mouthed and exuberant, always ready for more action. Very curious about his surroundings and longs to experience all that the world has to offer, no matter how dangerous.

History: Lynn is one of the largest remaining kingdoms left in the abyss corrupted world. It's a land of knights and warriors, who prize steel and bravery over intellect. Berinhard grew up in a family of noble blood. His parents schooled him privately with courtesies, literature, and mathematics until he reached the age of seven. Once he reached this age, Berinhard was sent to live a life as a page, an attendant to a knight training to become one. His schooling continued, though now included were skills of combat and strategy, along with carrying out minor tasks and day-by-day jobs for his knight lord, Andrian. Throughout this time, Berinhard never quite caught onto the trait of humility, always keeping alongside him a boisterous and flamboyant attitude.

At the age of fourteen Berinhard graduated into a squire, as per custom. More important duties were assigned to him, from helping his lord suit into his armor to following along to battle with his knight. During these journeys Berindhard saw firsthand the horrors of the abyss and its beasts. Berinhard's life continued this way for the next three years, until he was cursed with the darksign, becoming an undead. Even nobility of Lynn aren't free from the strict quarantine of the undead, and Berinhard's fate was sealed like any other, sent to rot away in the asylum of undead.

Items:
Blade of Andrian: Blade belonging to Andrian of Lynn, knight and slayer of dark. The blade is blessed with a divine magic, allowing it to slice through the flesh of unholy beasts with ease. Crafted with an alloy of cold steel, the blade is hardy and reliable. A gift from knight to squire, a blessing to assist a boy thrust into a world of dark.
EFFECTS: Divine enchantment allowing the blade to slice through corrupted beasts with ease, and will prevent skeletons from reconstructing.

Squire's Set: Not yet a knight, a squire hasn't yet earned the right to don armor in combat. A squire's outfit consists of simple, sturdy, and reliable clothing designed for wear and tear. A squire must remain light to assist his lord into their armor. A tabard is donned over the shirt displaying the coat of arms of their lord, in this case a roaring lion engulfed in flames.

Name: Gaspar Plagueborn
Age: Late thirties
Gender: Male

Appearance: Measuring little under 5 ft, he is light built but well defined by the constant struggle his life had been. Gaspar's head no longer holds any hair except facial. A prolonged soul patch grows until under his chin. His hollowed face hardly looks the part. As his humanity closes to its end, so does his apparent age. The only thing that appears to be alive is his gaze, even behind the dark shroud the Sign placed over his eyes. Riddled with liver spots and slacking skin his face seams closer to a ninety year old. His body also feals this effect, althou its tonus remains. His hands are deft with slender steady fingers. With his light built he is not fit to equip or wield any heavy armor or encumbranting weapons.

Personality: Dark past attracts dark humor, or so they say....
Actually his sick sense of humor was what allowed him to keep most of his possessions during his incarceration and exile to the north. Sly of nature he always seeks to have an edge over his opposition...ready to be brought down.
Even so he does prefer to avoid conflict, being quite the eloquent speaker. Quite able at befriending people, he seldom feels more attached to them more than to a throwing knife.

Autobiography: In a worn down tavern before he was discovered as a bearer of the sign "My origins, huh? My name should tell you more than enough..." The stranger shakes his head in a sign of no. "Guess your wright...my mum died when she had me, not that much of a surprise nowadays, pops was good enough to me. Guess I was lucky he didn't love my mum that much..." His attention wanders off for a second as he chugs down the horrid grog. Then he continues "Aaany way, life was as good as it could be for a lowborn like me. But (insert word) boring..." the stranger asks something to entice the man to spew more "Oh, yeah, that's why I joined them. Good life you know!? Three meals a day training to become...well, I don't really know what they where aiming for. Some obscure goal about four dead knights. Crazy bunch thou, eager to fight whomever, guess that's why I quit...only bad thing is that they attack me on sight now...guess no difference from before Kekeke..." His laugh didn't seem all that gay thou, glancing at his left hand. "Thanks for hearing me out mate.."

Age: Young for a Giant
Gender: Male?
Appearance: Dorlin is one of the famed Giants, known for their sheer size and power within the world, however unlike most of his kin Dorlin lacks the mass that the others do, only being about two times the height of a large human 12 ft. He has worked most of his life to mimic the Elite Troops of his people, and because of this he has gained their overall body structure. He wears a decorative metal mask on his head which is also covered by a hood from his robes. These robes cover a god part of his body with a armored scarf covering up his neckline. Bits and pieces of metal are located across his body for protection, while the most stand out piece on him, excluding his mask, seems to be two gauntlets.

Personality: Dorlin has a prideful and is always ready to show off his skills, mainly stemming from the sort of 'bullying' from his people for his size, though because of this he is also much more respectful to smaller races as he knows what it feels like to be such. He has one desire that stands above all else, and this is to gather enough power to stand among his people as not only a equal, but also a ruler...

History: Dorlin was born as a small giant among his peers, and because of this he was found to be 'less useful' than his kin, but instead of falling into line with this he was driven on to prove them wrong, but on the warnings from a elder giant he 'left' his people in order to gather power, gather it to help stop the threat that was looming already in the human lands, a threat known as the Abyss. With this power know as Pyromancy he would enhance their rather simple form in order to rule his people, to prove his worth, and save them all...

Giant Exile set: These heaps of robes cover the powerful form of the flame wielding exile giant, with a few human shields protecting the users form from attack, many of which have several kingdoms markings on the shields. A version of 'light armor' for giants so to say. The Mask looks crudely made and yet the pieces of metal seem finely crafted and from many different armors. The one who made it said it was for protecting one from the flames of pyromancy, though clearly he did not know much about the art then...

Shattered Giant's Sword: A common giants longsword, which is about the same size as a humans great sword. This one seems to have seen many battles, and have been broken as a result.

Gauntlet's of the Shaman: These strange devices were said to belong of the greatest of Pyromancy using giants Malrok, enabling several Pyromancy Flames to be installed within the rings of the gauntlets, which helped the primitive giant pyromancy, though now they are used to stall both one flame and different spells for their current giant user.


Other: Can only use human weapons that are long sword or above to fit his size and strength. Also knows simple Pyromancy.

Personality:

Liriah is very calm and gentle in nature. She likes to maintain a composed and relaxed sense of self and portrays this in the way she'll speak and act in situations. She enjoys having deep conversations, especially about philosophy or topics which provoke deeper thinking. She also carries an appreciation for art in all forms and enjoys beautiful scenery. Liriah proves herself useful in crisis situations, often remaining calm and putting her mind into solving a problem rather than focusing on the problem itself. That isn't to say she doesn't know fear, Liriah can become fearful and even intimidated if she's presented with a situation she doesn't think can be won. This will usually result in her faltering in how she presents herself which will be when she looks for friends and those close to her for guidance. Despite her young appearance, Liriah comes across to be wise, often reciting words of wisdom or thought provoking sentences in order to aid the minds of her friends. Some could say she is a little mysterious in some ways, although she makes no attempts to hide herself from those who seek answers from her. Lastly to note is Liriah's temper, while hard to provoke she does have the capacity and will usually lecture or scold the individual who has made her upset. Of course that's providing it's an obvious fault on their part. If it's a difference of opinion she might simply walk away to calm herself down if it becomes heated.

History:

Liriah is the remnant of the ancient city of Aramath, told in many different legends to be the city where angelic creatures would await the call of their gods before battle. It's speculated that this city could have been where the stories and symbols of humanities angels could have originated, however it's unclear. What is clear, is that the population of inhabitants might have once taken the forms of what we know to be angels as a massive statue on the edge of the city clearly can be seen clearly depicting the image of what we know from religious texts and lore. Whether these beings were indeed the servants of a god is also unclear, however information and evidence found within the cities walls suggests that these beings were actually more of a nation than a private army to be summoned by the hand of some higher power.

According to the official legend, Aramath was built by a god who sought to rid the world of darkness by providing the world with beings who would light the way so that no mortal would ever have to suffer the darkness again. But it seemed the forces of the dark wasn't ready to submit so easily as the city soon came under attack by darkness itself, a war breaking out between light and dark, black and white and good and evil which echoed throughout time itself. It was said that the war lasted no longer than a single year before it came towards it's end and as the story is told, there were four angelic's of light left by the end of the final battle, Acrinoth, Seruni, Rinex and Liriah. Their brothers and sisters had all fallen as the dark surrounded them at all sides, suffocating the city like hands upon the neck of it's victim. Angered by their failure, the gods cursed those who remained before leaving the city to decay and die, the once beautiful city becoming nothing more than another shell for which became another home for the dark. However all of this is legend. Of course you don't really believe in angels, do you?

Rapier of Valor - "A sword said to be used by an ancient race of angelic beings, it resonates with a warm light that somehow feels comforting, yet distant"

Bow of Judgement - "A mysterious bow that resonates with energy, arrows fired from it's string seem to be charged with lightning"

Armor of Fate - "A set of armor said to belong to an inhabitant of Aramath due to it's unique markings. The armor set appears to lack a helmet which suggests those who wore them went to battle without one. It seems to be unclear of what material the armor is made from, however the cloth skirt appears to be decorative only"

Miracles

Great Heal - Liriah can heal herself and those standing close to her, her body being consumed with light before a warm healing force explodes outwards.

Sunlight Spear - Liriah casts a spear of sunlight at enemies. Her arms will usually look to be on fire while she conjures these weapons.

Homeward - Liriah can teleport herself and all allies to the last bonfire they rested at.

Okay, so I've played this game and found it to be incredibly interesting, as well as immensely infuriating -_-
