I'm in the mood to roleplay planetside 2, and my other roleplaying site doesn't have that many fans. So I hopped on here, and decided to give it a shot. I don't know what to really do, I've sort of rushed this. all I want to ask is what empire should we play as?

That was quick. I didn't expect to have 3 different opinions on empires this quickly XD. as much as I love the VS, my second favorite would have to be the TR. Anyways, I plan on making it to where we are apart of a Outfit. Our squad are the shock troops of the Outfit, hot-dropping in to weaken the forces.

I just woke up, and I'm going to be going to the Archery Range soon. I'll see you in a few to discuss this more.)

while I love planetside to death this raised so many questions about how this game could be handled. Are we just making characters with equipment and the like from the game? i.e Nanoweave armour, flak armour, various guns? If so are we going to be copying a sort of bastardized certification system to earn things as we go in this? Or just start with what we want? Are we following the class system? How are we going to handle max suits?

looks like it's tied on TR and NC. I hope this makes it!

Ollum, we are making characters from a certain faction-with their available weapons- and moving over all of the continents to fight against the other two factions. Each character gets two suit abilities to use(both at the same time).There will be no certification system, meaning you can switch out your weapons or attachments at any time. we are, however, following the class system. that means you can only be one class for one character(multiple characters are allowed, but 3 is the limit). as for MAX units, 1 will be allowed. this might change if more join.

Never played Planetside 2 [bad internet, won't support any games that have more than 12 players for any extended amount of time], but I have seen it and I am interested. May I join, though I would be a complete noob at the game?

Everyone was a noob, once. (Especially me. Hell, I still am a noob even after a few months of gameplay.)
And I don't see why you can't play with us, even if you are a rookie. :)

I'm about 2 weeks into playing it, I'm still learning the ropes in terms of Armored and Aerial but I'm alright. No matter if you can't play it or not, this thread is available :). All you have to do is read up on the game and lore, and you'll do good :D.

I can't fly planes for sh*t in game.

I stick to ground infantry and tanks.

Didn't get a chance to work on it yesterday, so I might as well start again. All I have to do is make the character sheets and such, and we'll be ON the road!
