Long ago, the darkness of Giratina was sealed away, and the world entered a time of peace and prosperity. However, of late, his influence can be seen slowly seeping back into the world of today. First, there was the Meteor, which threatened to destroy the entire world. If not for a certain few Pokemon, who were able to enlist the help of Rayquaza, the world would have ended then and there. Soon after came the events of Darkrai, where Time and Space themselves threatened to collapse. At the time, the brave explorers of the Wigglytuff Guild rose to fight the darkness, and together, they prevailed. Now the world is once again in danger. Pokemon have begun disappearing into the wilderness, and shadowy figures can be seen haunting the world at night. Soon, the world may again call for the aid of a mighty hero, and the Alakazam Explorer's Guild will rise to answer the call. For Darkness is returning, and they all must work together to stop it.

Rules:
- No Legendary characters.
- No smut, swearing, sex, or anything else like that. This is a Pokemon RP; I prefer it stay PG.
- I will be playing the Guild Master, so no, you cannot be Guild Master.
- Don't be a jerk.
- If you haven't played Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon before, I highly recommend you look up a synopsis.

Now for the fun stuff:
- Any Pokemon from Kanto to Kalos (other than Legendaries) can be used, including evolutions.
- You cannot be Guild Master, but you can be an independent Pokemon, if you so desire. If you are, you'll simply work alongside the Guild.
- Evolution will be possible here, so choosing a first form will not force you to remain one.
- Mega Evolution will also be possible, but only my character will have it at first. Since this is Mystery Dungeon, I've decided Mega Evolution will not be powered by a stone and accessory, but each Pokemon will have to complete a certain trial in order to acquire that power. Once you become a final-form Pokemon (including those that start out as one), you may attempt this trial. It'll be a collaborative post with me, so PM me whenever you'd like to do it.
--- Continuing on the subject, I've decided that every final-form Pokemon may have a Mega Evolution, whether it's canon or not. If you want a non-canon Mega, you are free to make one for yourself, and if two people have the same Pokemon, they are free to create different Mega forms.

Personality: Zephyr is very serious and mature. He's stubborn and protective, he will not go down without a fight and he would give his life to protect others in a heartbeat. He isn't the most talkative Pokemon around, but he won't ignore you if you speak to him. He can hold a conversation with someone, just usually prefers to stay quiet. He's incredibly loyal, once you earn his trust he will never go against you, ever. Even if he doesn't believe what you are doing is right. He isn't afraid to correct or offer advice to those who are higher ranking than himself, or refuse to do something because he doesn't believe it is right. He'd sooner die than go against his of beliefs. Though kindhearted and surprisingly gentle, his serious nature makes him come off as unfriendly. But he isn't, in fact he forgets logic when someone is injured. Something that can easily be taken advantage of.

Though a decently intelligent guy, he tends to act recklessly, especially when people's lives are on the line. He doesn't care about his own safety, just the safety of those around him. Occasionally he'll forget to eat or something because he's so focused on other people, but he's been getting better at remembering about himself. He's focused, thoughtful, and observant. He'll notice things that most other people wouldn't. His mind is always thinking about something, anything at all. But usually it has to do with the situation, so it isn't like he zones out and forgets what he's doing. Though sometimes he does.

Brief History: Zephyr has been fighting for most of his life. He was hatched and raised by a Charizard named Ryu. It was with him that he was able to evolve into a Lucario. But then the Pokemon changed a became greedy, he wanted for them to go through their trials to become Mega Pokemon. But Zephyr didn't want to Mega evolve. He wanted to get stronger on his own power, not by using some strange power that forcefully changed him. So after much arguing, the two parted ways for the first time since Zephyr was born. He traveled around alone for a while until he came across the Alakazam guild. Wanting to help other Pokemon and grow stronger at the same time, he joined the guild and has been a part ever since.

Character Quirk: Is constantly sensing the auras of the things around him, thus has his eyes closed a lot.

I like the character a lot, but there is an error: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is a Pokemon-only world. No trainers.

In the first game they do mention trainers though. Like with the whole Gengar and Gardevoir story thing. So I was basing it kind of off that. I'll change things slightly to not include trainers though.

Personality: The first look may trick one. he often appears lay back, calm and like a confident pokemon. Once getting him to know, its a bit different story. Growy is really vain and put lots of his time on appearance. Disliking to get dirty in normal day to day situations. Having not the patient mind, he can get relatively easy irrtated. Just as easy he is to laugh and cheer up at receiving a compliment. But the love for his looks isnt the strongest one in his heart. he has the love for seeing and experiencing new things. Even if he for it has to train, get muddy and similar. This need was what lead him to end up and become a explorer.
He has a strong attachment for his close friends and the one he respect one way or another. But gets quite easily bored with things that are not his main interest.

Brief History: From little up he was not too found of training, liking to perfect other things instead. Like his dancing. It was when he by chance meet a Eevee, she was fascinated with mystery dungeons. And talked with such a charm and fire about it to him that he got curious. Unsure and shyly he offered his help to her, which only made her giggle. Telling him to forget it and first learn and train some before they can join on a expedition together.
Mostly feeling embraced and insulted he entered the first guild he saw, which was the Alakazam Explorer's Guild. Determent to prove her wrong he went on his first expedition. It wasnt anything to special at all, but it left him in awe, Even the fighting was worth it in the end, in his opinion. But to speak the true he did go first thing to bath and groom himself to perfection again the second they returned home.
He stayed with them since and recently evolved, finding that he became even more stunning.

Character Quirk: He is really vain about his appearance. If you want to irritate him get him dirty/or insult him and he will battle you with his all.
Enjoys dancing, and flowers.

Guild Membership: Yes

p.s. when I brain storm my grammar goes down the drain. I will re read and rephrase if needed tomorrow when my mind calmed down ^^;

Moves:
-Ember : Spits flames in short range. May cause burns.
-Quick Attack : Attacks at high speed.
-Flame Wheel : Spinning fire attack. Thaws ice, may cause burns.
-Flame Charge : Lunging fire attack. Boosts speed by one degree.

His primary aspects are his speed, agility and physical attacks. While powerful in tandem, Helios has yet to truly be able to harness it at full power.

Personality: While most fire types would be headstrong and confident, Helios is far more cautious and insecure. He strays away from the tactics of intimidation and threatening normally expected of his species, and so has much more faults in the scheme of combat. Though he has used his abilities time and time again, he can't quite seem to grasp their potential, his potential. He definitely has willpower and some degree of courage, but he isn't able to unleash that full power that his species has. There's some element he's missing, something preventing him from seeing the big picture, and he's determined to find it.

Brief History: As an infant, Helios was already very shy and frail, more so than normal. He parents often found it necessary to shelter him given his weakness, though they knew this would ultimately stunt his own growth in power by doing so. So he was trained in private, pushed to become better and stronger. Under pressure, the poor Cyndaquil would often find himself cracking, and spent many a night laying with lost confidence in himself.

By some miracle, Helios did manage to evolve, but his faults still remained. His power was definitely far more apparent, but not nearly as strong at it could be, especially in good tandem. With there being no real better way to train him otherwise, Helios's parents sent him out into the world to try and make a life for himself, to realize that ability as only he could.

Eventually, he found himself at the Alakazam Explorer's Guild, a group which set out into the world to perform anything from rescue operations to delivery missions to foreign surveillance. Helios remains determined that perhaps this Guild will be how he can unleash his potential.

Character Quirk: However much he may deny it, he LOVES being scratched. Not violently, but like petting; from the scruff of his neck, down his back, and then his belly. Do it well and thorough and he'll be writhing in ecstasy, putty in your mitts.

Name: Breloom

Nickname: Henry

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Moves: Spore, Bullet Seed, Mach Punch, Rock Tomb

Personality: Henry is very excitable, hyperactive, and outgoing. He finds joy in the smallest of things, and has no problem expressing these feelings. He enjoys meeting new people, and trying new things for the sake of variety. The combination of these traits make it difficult for him to sit still and concentrate on one thing for long periods of time. Because of this, he likes to actually do stuff, instead of sitting there reading about it. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first.

Henry's ultimate goal in life is to have fun, as well as show others a great time. He is the type that prefers to live in the moment. He doesn't plan for the future, and he finds sticking to a schedule boring and restrictive. He enters new situations with a smile. He also doesn't care for boring and monotonous tasks. He can't stand seeing others be sad, and would do anything in his power to help them. He believes there is some good in everyone, and for that, he is very trusting of others. A genuine nice guy, he is always willing to help someone in need. Often putting the needs of others ahead of his own. Sometimes though, he can be too nice, to the point of gullibility, and people often take advantage of him for it.

Brief History: Henry was born and raised in a small village that was filled with other Grass types. Even as a young Shroomish, Henry always seemed to have boundless energy. He could often be found outdoors playing with other Pokemon, and exploring his the nearby forests in his free time. Sometimes, his enthusiasm got him into trouble. He'd often wander into places he wasn't supposed to, and it was difficult to keep the young Pokemon still. He led a fairly normal life, but Henry found it too normal, to the point of being boring. He had a thirst for adventure, but all anyone in his village wanted to do was tend to their gardens. Henry found that dull. He knew there was adventure waiting beyond the borders. Unfortunately, his parents refused to let him leave every time he asked to leave to go explore, claiming he was too young to go on such an adventure by himself. (There was also the issue about his lack of arms and legs...)

After a lot of hard work, Henry managed to evolve himself into a Breloom. Now that he had legs, and could actually travel. His parents had misgivings about their son taking this kind of journey on his own, but they figured their son was old enough to make his own decisions. So they gave him their blessings, and sent him off on his way. He left his tiny village behind, in search of excitement, adventure, and fun. During his travel's, he came on across the Alakazam Explorer's Guild. He had heard many stories about the exciting things that exploration teams did, and as soon as he heard that this guild was looking for new members, he quickly applied to join.

Character Quirk: He tends to bounce up and down a lot. It is a habit he had ever since he was a Shroomish, and didn't have legs, so bouncing was the only way he could actually get anywhere.

Nickname (if applicable): Clarity/Clair

Gender: Female

Appearance: Noivern
Other then the usual look to a noiver, Clarity has a small piece of her left ear missing (seemingly from a bite mark) and claw marks down her back which is obscured by her fur.

Moves: Dragon Breath, Air Cutter, Steel Wing, Moonlight

Personality: Clair is a very calm person. She is usually good at keeping her cool under pressure, it can take a lot of stress to break her guise of cool confidence. Clair is flighty and evasive. She will usually try her best to act aloof, to pretend as if her loyalties don't lie anywhere, but deep down she is the motherly type. She'll often push people away because she has had intimacy problems in the past and sees this as some of way avoiding heartache. The best way to appeal to her protective side is to have a child or someone young involved.

Brief History: Clarity comes from a place beyond the mountains that many dragon types reside in. She did what many of them thing; trying to stay alive while at the same time looking for a nest mate. However, she had a nasty run in with a powerful Salamence that had nearly killed her, so she fled to the area of the guild, healing her wounds and building her strength. But she is always, in the back of her mind, terrified that some day that Salamence may return.

Character Quirk: Like all Noivern Clair is nocturnal. To some it would appear like she never sleeps at all, since she is active during day and night. She is just the queen of power napping. She can squeeze a day's worth of rest into 30 minutes if she must. If you can't find her somewhere during the day, that is probably because she's nestled somewhere dark and resting. If you want to make her grumpy the easiest way to do it is to wake her up without a good reason.

Okay, so! I've gotten the first IC post up. Second bit of news: in the interest of a good story, I've made a Sylveon to act as the Guildmaster's assistant. I did this more out of necessity than anything else, since I'll have to coordinate both for moving the story along AND for the various jobs that everyone goes out on. Beyond that, you're free to post, so have fun, and let's start exploring!

Of course. Right now, we're simply moving through an introduction, both to our characters and the overall plot. Once this is finished, there'll be a lot more room for everyone to maneuver freely, including missions, bounties, free exploration, trips to town, and anything else we can think of. And, of course, not everyone has to go on the same mission, so it would be entirely feasible for people to split up into several stories for a time. In all likelihood, the guild will only really come together for major plot events, with a bit of time between them.
