" and I am one of them" Blake whispered to himself softly that at least the small guy should not have been able to hear it, but part of him hoped it was soft enough that the girls did not hear him while also hoping that they girls did hear.
Then He looked at Keela "guess we need to make a place then, since your place is way to far off from here and you girls are tired"
He lowered his weapon but did not sheath it, the light was still useful at least, he felt lucky that he had been active at night a lot these lat few days, weeks?
A small worry started to cross his mind, he still had no idea how long he had been a panther, was this normal or... he never stayed in an animal shape for that long before....
shaking the thought away he looked around.

"guess that ruin thing there is your home" he said to the little guy, his panther eyes were pretty good, trough he only noticed a ruin, but if the guy woke up due to them, it made sense.
"well since you did not invite use, which I can understand, do you know of some other place not to far off for us?"

"I might have room for you.... I just need to know why you're here. However, I cannot guarantee you'll like where I put you, as I already have someone staying with me. I realize being Non-human is not easy." Zmerr felt a slight change of heart when he took a good look at the group. They looked tired and hungry. Just as he knew he'd looked his first week or so on the island. "You introduce yourselves first and I will follow suit." He put his pistol down, but not away, as he had seen the man do.

Ren stood silently behind Zmerr watching the scene she was unsure if she should say anything or just remain unseen behind the doorway. After all, she had no authority in the situation. She just hoped the new comers were kind and not hostile.

Blake nodded "thanks that nice of you, my name is Blake, reason I am here is cause Keela wanted to investigate the noice" he said as he gestured to Keela.
"feared it might have been humans and she is a healer, not a fighter so yeah"
Blake started to feel like he was stereotyping the girl on her notice of having healing magic and not fighting magic, it felt wrong but it was the best he knew of her.
"and if you want to know my reason for being on the island, well I guess that would be like asking a bird how it can fly"

Runa was still sleeping trough this all, she had not had a good sleep where she felt safe in a long time.
was exhausted still from using her powers to flee and survive in the ocean'
had been fighting sleep as she roamed around before she found the cliff
the exhaustion that came with falling off a cliff
then having walked with Keela and Blake for hours.
it all had taken a heavy blow to her, resulting that she wont be able to wake up, she always had been a deep sleeper when she was able to live a normal live before the hunting, so go figure how deep she might be now.

Blake walked to her and lifted her up gently, trying to keep her, well his, shirt in a way that it covered her crotch.
"This is Runa and I dont think she is going to wake up soon enough to explain her reasons before dawn"

"Good point. It just sometimes strikes me as odd when people who could almost pass as human don't try to blend in in order to survive instead of coming here and risking death." Zmerr shook his head to clear the images of people who had come here to flee the Chipped and died in the process. "I know I would if I looked human." Zmerr looked down at his hands. Three fingers and a thumb that ended in sharp, claw-like points. Black skin almost darker than the night sky. There was no way he'd ever have fit in with the humans. He looked back at the campers. "I might have room in one of the other buildings for all of you, but I am unfortunately out of blankets and pillows. Follow me." He began walking toward the bushy area and motioned for them to follow.

Keela frowned when the creature mentioned someone intruding on his abode. No wonder he was hesitant of them. She’d be wary of visitors too if someone invaded her home. She started to introduce herself when Blake took the reins, Keela just nodding so as not to interrupt. She of course was more than a simple healer, but the word ‘witch’ sounded far more scary than she wanted to come across as. ”I could not pass as human because I used my magic to heal people. Even the humans before they turned on me. And thank you, sir,” she said gratefully as he led them towards the bushes. He seemed perfectly nice. Just suspicious and rightfully so.

"What a shame." Zmerr shook his head when the girl spoke of her healing magic. "The humans are so prejudice and ungrateful. They always were."

The rather large black bear approched her with a snarling face Celest had her daggers out and ready although she hadnt fought off anything this big befor, it came ast her and swipped at her arms. She blocked with her dagger cutting the paw of the bear, it whined and roared loudly. And came at her more fiercely than befor, When close enough she jumped up and used the bear's head as leverage and pushed off of it and landed on its back, the confused animal tried to get her off with no avail. She took out a rope fasened it around the bears muzel like reins. She took ahold of the make-shift reins and lead the bear to where she heard the plasma gun go off, she saw two women both she had stalked in the shadows and two odd looking creatures and a black panther? She jumped off the bear and it still seemed hostile twoard her so she simpily said "I wont bother you ever again if you just leave peacefully" her voice steely and cold. The bear just turned and runned off at the slowish speed. She approched the group not realizing she had her weapons still drawn. SHe wanted to say something but wasn't sure they even wished her to be in her presence.

Blake carried the Runa inside while he listened to Keela and the small creature before he finally said something again.
"I will never be able to live between humans anymore my self, not after what they did..." he looked down but made it seem like he looked at Runa, trough the sadness would still show in his eyes.
"sides, once we get in the light you can see I dont pass off like a Human all that well either.
he was not talking about the partial shifts he was currently having up but as his eyes were different and the marks on his hands were unique, trough that might have passed on as tattoo's, most humans now knew about his tribe, his eyes and marks would have been a dead giveaway
at least that is what he thought

Zmerr and the others came upon another large bush. Zmerr pushed some vines out of the way on a tree trunk and pushed to button to shut off the hologram. Suddenly there was a ruined building in front of them. He led them inside. "I know it's not much and there are a lot of holes in the ceiling, but it's the best I can do for you." He looked at the man in the light. now he could see it. Two different colored eyes. That alone would get you into trouble with the Government. There were also the tattoos on either of his hands. A sign that he was a shape shifter. Plenty of reason to be killed. Zmerr remembered hearing about these people. They'd been ruthlessly slaughtered. This man was probably the last of his kind. "I'm sorry about your people. I have no idea about my own people. They shunned me before the Government took over. I doubt any of them are still alive. They think humans are stupid. Their naivety and pompousness would surely be their downfall. I know that's why I was glad to be gone."

Keela didn’t speak as the small creature insulted the humans. Keela had respect and love for all living things deep down, although she would gladly put every human who had burned her home and possibly killed her mother in a prison until they were rehabilitated, she couldn’t hate. She glanced over to Blake who carried Runa, again very gentleman like, Keela was impressed, but the sadness in his eyes made hers soften as well. She hated seeing sadness. ”Oh how clever!” Keela said with a gentle smile as Zmerr turned off the hologram and showed them into his home. She had no tech skills whatsoever so she found it incredibly impressive. Keela did want to say something as the hurt and anger continued from their host’s mouth, but she just held her head downward quietly. ”Thank you for your hospitality, sir,” she did say sincerely.

"Yes. Of course. We may not be of the same people, but we are all the same in the fact that we are no longer accepted. It would be cruel to leave you out there. I've been having issues with a particular bear as of late. I didn't want to wake up to injuries or even dead. Anyways. This is not where I will be staying, but I will come by in the morning with some food. My only request for harboring you here long-term is that you do some chores and such, but I am by no means keeping you here. You are free to stay where you'd like. Just know that if you stay here, I will need your assistance." Zmerr smiled diplomatically as he left, waving over his shoulder and heading back to his room.

Blake was silent as he laid Runa down on a patch of dirt, it was warmer then the stone floor he was standing on at least.
It was a surprise that the little man knew about his tribe but being reminded hurts, enough to overshadow his surprise.
he laid down on the ground as well, silent as he turned to his side, showing his back to the door and the little man.
he doubted he would sleep anytime soon, so he waited for the man to leave in order to talk to Keela about their plans, that was if he was allowed to stay with her.
Trough he also realized she might start talking first once the little man left, it would break the ice if she did.

Runa just kept on sleeping.

"Sorry I don't at least have blankets. It's been just me for who knows how long." Zmerr said, leaving the building and heading back to his own.

Keela said one last ‘Thank you!’ to the creature with a smile before trying to get comfortable on the ground. After she got as comfortable as she could, she sighed softly, glancing to Blake’s back. ”We can all go to my home tomorrow. It’s more comfortable,” she said quietly, although after the words left her mouth she wondered if Blake and Runa would even want to stay in her home. Sure it was nice in her opinion, but she didn’t want to force anyone to do anything. ”Good night Blake,” she said in a whispery tone, moving some more until she was curled up and comfy.

"fine with me" Blake said softly, glad she did not say anything about what the man said about his tribe.
"good night" he whispered back.

During the Night Blake was woken up as he felt something press against him, opening his eyes he notices that it was Runa that had curled up against him, properly for warmth.
He slowly pulled down his pants and after that turned into his panther self, being big, warm blooded and having a soft and warming fur, he thought this would be more comfy for the girl.
he did not know what it was, perhaps it was the long time without friendly human contact, perhaps its cause he liked being with girls more then man, even if its just friends, perhaps a mixture of being a long time without female companionship.
but he liked it with the 2 girls, he would not mind at all to live with them if they can tolerate living with a male of course, at least he can be useful for them in multiple ways he figured.

When Celest finnaly made it to the place where she heard a plasma gun go off she saw a small figure walking about she instictivly runs at it and tackles it "Who are you!" she says and holds it down easily. She notices its just a wee little man but holds him down anyways. She was confused and afraid this had been her first encounter with another person for years. "I will not hurt you unless you hurt me" she says and keeps him down.

Zmerr was walking along quietly, enjoying the peaceful star-filled sky. He wondered when he'd ever get any sleep. Suddenly, something jumped at him from out of the shadows and landed right on top of him. Zmerr immediately went into survival mode reaching for his plasma pistol and shoving it up into the attacker's stomach. He almost pulled the trigger, but then he realized his assailant was a girl. Definitely not human. she had elf-like coloration and features.

"Who are you!?" she shouted the question into his face. "I will not hurt you unless you hurt me."

Zmerr struggled under her weight a little bit, unable to breathe properly. "The person who owns the land you're on. Who are YOU?" He pulled an arm free and wriggled out of her grasp before she had a chance to respond. He kept the pistol at his side, but didn't put it away.

After hearing his words celest felt a little guilty for pushing him to the ground, she stood up and held out a hand for him "oh sorry" she said quietly she wore a loose fitted shirt and short skort which was a mix of a skirt and shorts. She glanced at him and brushed the dirt off of him and smiled innocently "iv lived here for a long time how come iv never seen you around untill tonight?" She asked calmly putting her daggers away

"I have a way of blending in." Zmerr backed away from her hands and finished the dusting job himself. "I spent a few years in the jungle, so I have a lot of experience."
