All the crazy biome stuff is due to it being an Amplified type world instead of a normal one. Everything I saw in the hour or so I played looked pretty much the same as all the other Amplified worlds I've seen, so idk if there are some improvements I haven't noticed or if you've just never seen this kind of world before and aren't familiar with their weird world generation stuff.

Let me see if I can arrange that... However, as soon as Forge for 1.8 comes out, we will have plugins.
Edit: Nope. Even if Op level was on 2, everybody would have permission to /gamemode as well as /tp. So nope, sorry. :s

What I mean by trusted: Frequents the forums regularly and is a known member of Spam. If you wish, I could put up who gets opped in a vote as well.

Also, if I catch anybody going into creative, I will revoke their OP unless they explain why they did in this thread.

(Considering the fact that my house at the moment is made out of dirt and dark oak planks...)

Only time creative will be allowed is if the server suffers a massive lag spike and you therefore lose your items from it. Other than that however, you're roughing it.

I really hate this amplified world.

EDIT: Yeah, Iogged in, my computer took a solid minute and a half to unfuck itself from lag. In that time, a skeleton walked up from somewhere and killed me. My cheapo computer can't do this, the lag for me is 5X worse than the old server.

I can't take it off Amplified. Have you tried lowering all your graphics settings? Graphics to fast, render distance to short, smooth lighting off, performance max FPS, and VSync off.

That's how I have to play normally, at the minimum level for everything, but you know what, I tried getting back in.

Sure, I lost all my shit, but I spent the last 2 hours exploring and did much better than before, 4 stacks or iron, and a bunch more stuff. Then 3 skeletons spawned on-top of me and despite hitting them a thousand times with an axe, I died before any of them. But that was ok, because I was close to my home right? No, apparently my stuff despawns in 20 seconds.

I'm done I guess, if anyone knows another good server let me know.
