Red Winston

Red obediently followed Amanda over to the guy who pushed the one-armed man. From his point of view, it seemed that the guy who Amanda cheered on was wrong. It wasn't because Red was selfish and Amanda liked the guy, but the dude non-chalantly pushed a disabled guy just because he wanted to sit there. Of course, he was ordered not to go against Amanda's words, but, at least, she didn't order him to support her. So, when he disagreed, he could at least stay silent on the matter.

The guy has changed tables, to Red's annoyance. It was a good opportunity to talk to the disabled guy. His appearance indicated he was old and weak, but there were signs of him being younger than 30 years old. Maybe he came across something at the Academy and it turned him like this. For all it's worth, another good chance to acquire more infromation might as well have been lost. Why couldn't Amanda just talk to someone who actually looked like he knew a thing or two? Like this Deborah. Of course she wouldn't. Amanda was the personification of the word "obstacle" in Red's eyes. Even if she didn't want to, she would take actions that would go against his own goals and he even wanted to ask her if she had an anti-Red ability, if it wasn't for the sheer stupidity of the thought.

Having to obey Amanda's order, Red stepped forward, now standing in front of the man. Red was almost certain that the guy wouldn't give a damn about either him or Amanda and he was wondering why would she speak to him. It was obvious that he was a person that didn't care. But, since he didn't have the benefit of choice, he said:

"My name is Red Winston, Mistress Amanda's Butt-Slave!"

Cordelia Lynn Holmes

Lynn was the sort who had "been there, done that". She wasn't really fazed by a lot anymore-or, so she'd thought. In the course of twenty four hours or so, the Academy had thrown at her a silverware-munching lizardman, a one-eyed girl dressed entirely in white leather (who she was sharing a room with, no less), and some sort of strange, raw-fish eating boy with a tail. Alex glowing, she could comprehend, but three hours of sleep? The hell? She said it in such a way that it was normal-no, like that was a lot for her? And the moon being bright? Lynn may not have been blessed with things like "formal education", "stable childhood", or "basic civility", but she was sharp. So this chick was recharged by the moon, and apparently could function really well on three hours of sleep. Like a werewolf or something, minus the wolf part. She just got all charged up from the moon. Lynn could roll with that. It took a bit of contextualizing, but she swallowed it pretty easy after that. After the lizard guy, she wouldn't have been surprised if some kid's power was being able to shit antimatter or something.

"Yeah," Lynn said knowingly, "Moon's like, crazy bright here." Who the hell pays attention to the moon? Well, actually, I'm starting to think moonlight is to Nightlight what Molly is to the rest of us, so I can't blame her. "Roommate's good, I guess. She doesn't fuck with me. I don't fuck with her. I'm with that one-eyed Irish chick with the Michael Jackson get-up." Lynn paused, figuring with her luck, Gabby would be standing right behind her. She glanced around, but the two were still alone. Huh. That was a nice change of pace. Lynn skipped right over the question about how she slept, because as a general rule, Lynn didn't sleep very well at all, but that wasn't something she really felt like delving into. She had a suspicion that if she brushed right past it and kept talking, Mary Poppins would miss it. Not to knock her-Alex was the only person that was on Lynn's list of "Doesn't Annoy Me". "If they make us do math, I say we just skip. And, suits?" Lynn folded her arms across her chest, chewing on her lip with a vacant expression that would suggest she was either thinking hard or tripping balls. "...I suppose I could roll with...suits," Lynn finally said. "Anything that isn't some academic, classroom bullshit, I'm down for. You heard anything more about the arena? As a general rule, I don't fight when I don't have to-" because when I fight, I don't half-ass it, like I imagine this fat cats do "but..." Lynn shrugged. "I figure eventually I'll wind up handing someone's ass to them." She returned her eyes to Alex, sizing the girl up and down. "You're not much of a fighter, are you?" Lynn said this not with condescension, but rather genuine curiosity. She didn't get that vibe from Alex-you could see it, in people. Hardness. Coldness. She'd seen a glimpse of it in Morticia, a tinge of it in a few others....it was nothing like clairvoyance. It was just watching the way someone walked, someone moved, carried themselves. It was watching who was boasting and shouting in a conversation and who sat quietly, not needing to make a scene. Same way Lynn could, most of the time, pick out what model cell phone someone had in their pocket from twenty paces, she could spot who was hard and who wasn't. Lynn mostly hung with hard types, back home, the sorts who had either seen some very serious shit go down or had tiptoed that irreversible line of morality themselves. Alex, she felt, hadn't, which was...refreshing? Lynn felt a vague sense of responsibility for the girl. There was Crocodile Dundee who ate steel and probably shit out bullets, Morticia, who regardless of strength, certainly seemed to enjoy taking potshots at the new, weak-looking kids, and...well, herself, come to think of it. Academy had a bunch of dangerous types running about, and Lynn had a very quiet feeling that there would be a few child-sized graves carved out in the jungle before they all got back on that boat to go home. She didn't intend on going in one (although, admittedly, Lynn never really planned on a long life-she had accepted her life expectancy was two, maybe two and a half decades), but she figured Alex didn't deserve it either.

Of course, if half these dumb fuckers kicked the bucket, Lynn would twerk on their graves, but eh.

Lynn wasn't exactly well-versed in dealing with the soft types-it'd been a great many years since she'd been at the orphanage, which was probably the last relatively normal social environment she was in. She was used to a more terse form of relationships, but this would be...nuanced. "Listen, we have to do any shit today, and I legitimately don't know what that entails, which annoys me," Lynn turned and spat off the side of the ledge down into the brush below. "I wouldn't be opposed to, uh, watching each other's backs or whatever. There are some assholes in this place, I'd rather the one normal person here not get dicked over by them, you know?"

Matt

Matt looked up when two people approached him, and groaned. Two idiots this time rather than one. He was just getting comfortable too, the other guy left a nice butt groove, and the seat was warm too. He intentionally let the bird on his screen fall, bud didn't restart the game. He looked up to the girl and boy who stood just a few feet from him. He remained silent as they spoke, his eyes glazing the two people over, scrutinizing every detail about then. One called himself the girl's butt-slave. Nice self confidence in that one. He had no words to describe the situation, only a rapidly warping facial expression that changed from annoyed, to serious, to stupefied within about a second, and then back to serious. He raised an eyebrow for a second, before he gave a small smile.

"Really interested? Cool. You're my partner today in Power training with that asshole Adam Blackmore." Matt said, realizing a little too late that the girl had just proclaimed that hey last name was Blackmore herself. "Oh, sorry I guess, but real talk, he's a dick." Matt said. "Impress me and it's a date." he said, crossing his arms. He was half serious and half kidding, she was pretty hot to him. He had grown up with the roughest and toughest people, girls included. Tattoos and scars were his thing, and the 'I don't give a shit' personality with his thing. So this girl came off pretty damn attractive to him. Plus she was meta human, and of that power absorbing thing that Adam always bragged about. He couldn't wait to expand on his own powers to show there were other things in the book that were just as powerful. Of course, being half serious and half kidding, while he would definitely not mind He looked over to the other person, who called himself Red. "Nice butt slave, Amanda." Matt said, looking briefly over to the young woman, raising and eyebrow suggestively. "Seven out of ten." He said, putting his feet up on the table. "Mistress Amanda? Damn kid, is she your dominatrix or something?" He mumbled to himself, reaching over to the table and grabbing a glass of water and drinking it. No need to absorb pure water.

Matt looked down to his watch briefly. Still time. Not enough to get laid before school, but enough time to potentially get laid after school. Hell if he knew. "You two are new, aren't you?" he said, looking the two of them over. He hadn't seen them before, and he made sure he recognized everyone he came across. "Got here a few months ago myself, decided to take the summer to train a little bit, maybe do something productive for once." he said. He had been invited here, not sent by a rich family like that new teacher Henry. He had very little money to really spend on a whim. And with his background he was pretty sure he was a liability for the school to have since there were people hunting him. Of course, with the schools training programs which were finally opening up to him, he was fairly certain he would be an asset to the school, and most likely a trophy that the school would attempt to show off whenever they felt necessary. Like he would let that happen. He realized he hadn't introduced himself yet. "Name's Matthew. I just go by Matt. Anything else I'll ignore. If I don't like you I'll make sure you know I'm ignoring you." He said. "Pleasure to be of your acquaintance."

Jack

A wicked smile creeped across Jack's face as Shannon suggested messing with Valjean. Everybody in school hated Valjean Vesseal, but nobody had actually told him. In Jean's mind, he was the king of the campus. That was precisely why messing with him was so fun. It would give Jack a chance to showcase his newly-replicated power too; cryomancy. He watched the king of the douchebags roam the cafeteria, stalking his prey. He took a sip of his coffee and upon sitting it down, steepled his hands in front of him, a sign that he was in scheming mode.

"Well it depends, dearest Shannon." Jack replied "How much detail are we willing to put into ruining his day? I have a few tricks that I'd like to try out on some poor, unwitting victim." he ended the sentence sarcastically, and then blew a foggy breath of cold air, despite the fact that the cafeteria was quite warm. A thin layer of ice spread across the table, dissipating before it could reach a place where any other group was sitting. A thin coat of frost enveloped Jack's egg, causing it to sparkle like a ball of ice. He tossed it a few times in the air, and then sat it back down on the plate, partially-angry with himself that he now had two egg shells to peel. Then he remembered that he had ice powers, and so froze the layer of water under the shell, causing the egg shell and the ice shell to both shatter and fall onto his tray.

Sam

Sam had vaguely heard of Black Fall before. It wasn't far from Baltimore, and had a rap for attracting metas. He heard stories before about there being real superheroes there (because I can't help but cameo my own characters from previous roleplays involving Black Fall). Personally, he wasn't one for heroes; villains were much more relatable to Sam, with the exception of Batman. The fact that they came from the City of Freaks was pretty hardcore; these Valos people must be some tough customers. All the more reason for Sam to befriend them.

"Yeah, there's a fuckton of emo chicks running around here." Sam replied "I feel like I'm in the middle of a My Chemical Romance concert. A lot of the people around here seem to be really aggressive too, like that bitch Valjean. The weirdest guy I've met, though, is probably my roommate. I didn't see advertisements for fucking one-armed robots in the brochure!"

Vera

Vera inconspicuously leaned towards Deborah, offering her ear as she scouted out the guy she was talking about. It hit her like a slap in the face when she realized it was Chris Deb was scoping out. Of course, he would just radiate his problems to her- Vera got stronger impressions from him as well. From what she remembered of him, anyway. She hadn't gotten very close to him since she saw him yesterday, but she wondered how much he had changed.

Vera nodded knowingly and gently rapped her fingers on the side of her mug. The Academy was pretty small, so word would get around fast about Chris. But maybe sliding Deb a little bit of information could make that work in Chris' favor.

"I know him, actually. Not the metal guy- the other one." Vera kept her eye on the two as they chatted over their breakfast. "His name's Chris. I met him my first year here and he was always super nice to everyone." Then some dude went over to the table and shoved Chris out of his seat. Vera winced. What was his damage? Then, naturally, Chris dumped a glass of juice on his head.

"I mean, he was nice when I knew him." She shrugged and drew a sip from her coffee. So much for giving him some good words. "He could still be, I guess. But I dunno. I haven't really spoken to him. Since he came back, I mean." Wow. Awkward. She cleared her throat and drummed her fingers on her mug again. Time to change topics.

"So, how've you been? How was your break?" Vera was genuinely interested in knowing, but it did work as a nice switch, if Deborah bought it. She took her eyes off of Chris and didn't see or sense him coming until his hand was hovering over her shoulder. The touch, as small as it was, washed over her a wave of feelings, all too fleeting to discern, but it had the same effect as dumping a bucket of ice water on her head. She jumped in her seat and blinked rapidly, twisting around to see who it was.

It took her a second to register and recover from the shock. A wide smile spread across her lips. "Yeah! It's me." She was surprised he remembered her. People she saw regularly in her hometown didn't remember her. "Of course I remember you, Chris!" Boy, he looked very different up close. Out of habit, she counted and calculated the ruggedness of the skin of his face and then some of the scarring on hand and- Oh.

"You have a cut on your hand," She stated. Vera thought she could do a little something to clear up his face and whatever scars he had. He was in desperate need of a haircut, too, but she knew her limits. "May I?" She offered her hand to him. "It'll help prevent infection," She added temptingly, giving her fingers a wiggle.

"Oh, and this is my friend Deborah," Vera said, inclining her head to the girl next to her.

Peter was more than willing to elaborate what he had mentioned earlier to Christopher Clarke. He admitted that he was focused on his own train of thought, rather than the train of thought of others. However, there was the unfortunate turn of events. He wasn't sure who this boy was, at first, but he learned to not necessarily care shortly after. He pushed Peter's new acquaintance off the seat of the table, prompting a glance from Peter - perhaps unnoticeable due to his lack of features, but there was still the motion of his head turning to him. A twinge of disdain welled in him. Kids were so crass and... unnecessarily aggressive. Their brains run off pure impulse and it was just... stupid. Immature. The sentiments of the neighboring girl was similarly vexing. One-armed freak? These kids really were obnoxious little cretins. He almost said something, but Christopher picked himself up and reacted in kind by pouring orange juice. So the situation was turning into something he was no longer interested in - inter-student drama. He wouldn't do anything until something seriously picked up.

And that's what Peter was watching for. An additional pulse of electricity scoured the area, highlighted the shapes and features of his environment. Hair might stand on end, but that wasn't important at the moment - that wasn't his concern. This newcomer - Matthew, he soon learned - fortunately did not react in the way Peter expected. He instead showed off his power, and the orange juice simply sucked into his body. How? Does he absorbs liquid? Sucks away moisture? This child was aggressive and possessed a power that could seriously harm people. It was somewhat reassuring to know that Peter himself wouldn't suffer from such effects, but still. Matthew was going to get in the way sooner or later. But as for now, the situation seems to have diffused. Christopher bid his farewells and Peter nodded absentmindedly, instead focusing on the new child. If he was going to stir trouble, Peter wanted to know what could be done to settle it. Trouble meant risk. Risk was a hazard. He wasn't keen on exposing his life's work to hazards of any sort. Needless to say, he also didn't want Matthew nor any of his proteges getting in his own way and distracting him. And while he didn't have his work available, now was as good a time as any to begin removing obstacles.

To consume the empty space Christopher Clarke left behind, a girl named "Amanda Blackmore" had arisen. She was nearly as vulgar as Matthew. She made a comment about "showing that one-armed weirdo". Peter interpreted it as something of personal slight, for himself and on behalf of his similarly disabled acquaintance - but ultimately took no offense. Amanda Blackmore's comment warranted a dead stare in her direction, to perhaps remind her that there were still people around she ought to be considerate of. He took a moment as he analyzed her the best he could. Licentious. Crass. Arrogant. Really, a suiting fit for Matthew. She even had what she called... a "butt-slave". Goodness gracious, these kids were getting more and more ridiculous. Or, who knows. Peter never spent too much attention to other students back in in his schoolyard days. But as for "the now", the more Matthew talked, the more ludicrous he sounded. He really saw himself as a tough, "saw all the evil the world had to offer" kind of kid.

He wasn't going to sit here not saying a word - as easy as that would be, to just simply siphon off the information they gave him by just simply talking and ignoring him. But Peter had questions he wanted answered more immediately, as he wasn't sure if those were to be as quickly covered, if at all. He also wanted less gang wars in the new territory in which he'll be working. Diffusing whatever tension or aggression Matthew would aim towards others would be ideal.

"You are a very confident young man." Peter observed, speaking in a warped and hollow voice. "But you do still seem to be just a child. Don't be so quick to make enemies."

Despite the very contrary, Peter took a moment to look from a perspective as though he were on Matthew's side and take an objective view on what happened with Christopher Clarke.

"You had already alienated a young boy and made light of his disability. You had already made an enemy out of him - that's an obstacle. You se-eee-eiieie..." Peter paused a moment to regain the bearings of his vocal ability - his voice turned into a high-pitched screech and squealing of metal. "...you see... an enemy is going to take advantage of your lowest moment. When it comes."

Amanda Daisy Blackmore.

Amanda laughed at Red, how obedient! However, this is not a conversation for little boys to hear - It's time for the adults to start talking. "Butt-slave, you are free to go for now. Mistress has to talk. Go entertain yourself with Debby. But don't go too far, you don't know when Mistress might need you!" She pointed at Deborah, and then gestured for Red to leave. She would need him later. When class starts. She smiled at Red as he walked off. Then she turned to Matt, nonchalantly "Don't talk shit about my Daddy." She willed a fork into her hand and pointed it at him like he was going to stab him, before dropping it on the floor. She had a crazed smile on her face the whole time. "You should be thanking him, anyway. He created a gift to humanity; me." She put her fingertips on her chest, smiling smugly. "Yes, little Red Riding Hood has elected himself to be my bitch." She started laughing, she leaned in closely so Red wouldn't hear and whispered, "We made a little deal, ya' dig? I tell him everything I know, and he does whatever I say. Well, I decided to fuck him by telling him a little bit, then saying it's all I know."

Amanda pulled back and grinned ear to ear. Matt asked if she was new, she responded with a loud, "Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" She put her hands up and started shaking them left-to-right. "Comin' here for five years. I ain't a newbie." She made a metal-tooth pick and put it in her mouth to get some pieces of waffles she had left. "I've been tearin' it up since I got here. Fuckin' up people in the arena, and making everyone believe who's the bitch in charge."

"But, I know what you want..." Amanda got close to his face, "You want a date!" She loudly announced. "What makes you think that you're worthy of the illustrious Amanda Blackmore?" She looked him dead in the eye, super dramatic. This would have been the most serious she has ever appeared! "Yes. Maybe I'll take you out to the woods and let me guard down...." She said in a sultry tone, giving her the sexy-eyes.

This moment was all romantic and shit, then fucking Tin Man's one armed cousin came and fucked it all up! If it was possible, Amanda would turn her head 180 degrees and stare this metal fucker square in the eye. But that would be painful, so she turned around and looked at him. She stood straight up, and put a hand on her hip, and she asked, "Fuck you talking about Tin-Man? We young and invincible!" She explained. "We don't have to worry our enemies-" Amanda finger quoted, "-taking advantage of our lowest moment. Because make our enemies disappear! Sleep with the fishies!"

Matthias Landon Oxenford, & Sylvia Lana Bertoose.

Some other fucker came up to the table and started spouting some pseudo-philosophical crap like he was a blind old man. Sylvia looked up at him, yup, a bonafide weirdo if she saw any. Hair that covered his eyes, weirdo eyes, the way he talked (Like who talks like that?)... Just ugh! It wasn't a stretch to say that Sylvia already didn't like him. "C'mon, what's your face, just having some harmless fun! Not a case of 'who's beneath who' or whatever you're talking about." Sylvia leaned back in her chair.

Matthias was talking, but like before, nobody can hear him. He wondered why.

"Oh, yeah, let me fix that." It didn't take any effort at all, but she gave Matthias the ability to talk.

"Hey, hey, don't do that again!" Matthias immediately said. He put a fist to his mouth and coughed, "I will be fine, friend. I don't get hurt that easily...."

Sylvia had grabbed the guitar she had rested on the table and started lazily strumming it. When Matthias said 'He doesn't get hurt that easily' Sylvia rolled her eyes. Like, honestly, people say that shit all. "126." She blankly said.

"What?" Matthias responded.

"... That's how many times I heard bullshit along the lines of that." Sylvia said, with a dry expression on his face.

"I can heal from anything! Believe me, hitting my hand on the table wouldn't do anything!"

"Oh really? Regenerator, eh? Prove it." Sylvia said with a grin on her face. She knew that it was probably likely this kid was a regenerator. She just wanted to see how far he'd go. For no reason at all. "Cut one of your fingers off and put it on the table."

"Wait, no! That'll hurt." Matthias objected.

"Then you aren't a regenerator, faker." Sylvia stuck her tongue out. "Bet you lied your way right into this school."

Shannon Jacqueline Balore.

This idea was starting to get amusing. Though, the unnecessary display of power annoyed Shannon - She disliked a show-off. "You know me, the more detail the better...." Shannon took a sip of her coffee, looking at Valjean. "It doesn't really matter if he knows it was us or not. All talk after all." She grimaced. "You know my ability, I can hog tie him with a thought...."

Jake & Gabe Valos.

"Maxx" said "Yeah, there's a fuckton of emo chicks running around here." Sam replied "I feel like I'm in the middle of a My Chemical Romance concert. A lot of the people around here seem to be really aggressive too, like that bitch Valjean. The weirdest guy I've met, though, is probably my roommate. I didn't see advertisements for fucking one-armed robots in the brochure!"

"Oh, I guess Vespera is one of them?" Jake asked as he leaned back in his chair, putting his hands behind his back. This school seemed entertaining. So many strange and aggressive people inhabit this island. Jake always knew they'll find a light in the darkness. "Oh, yeah, we've dealt with that brand of people in the past...." He trailed off.

"Pttf, the problem with this school is that everyone's either an annoying twat or a moron who's are hell bent on making themselves out to be top dog." Gabe's eye peered towards Sam. "When, honestly, you take away their powers and what are they?"

"Loud bitches?" Jake said, sarcastically flat. Before he changed to a serious deposition and looked at Sam. He changed the subject to room mates. He swore he saw a metal man at the corner... Oh yeah, there he is. He's talking to that annoying, girl, Amanda. "You mean like that guy? Heh... I would rather sleep in the jungle than with him..."

"... A rare sentence, Jakey!" Gabe said, mocking Jake's... preference.

Jake bumped Gabe's shoulder with his fist. "I didn't mean it like that!" He was laughing, and his tone was rather amused. They made such comments all the time.

"Hmph, but yeah, Jake and Little Dragon probably got the best room mates here.... I got paired with the street rat...." Gabe hissed.

"And how's that going?" Jake asked

"She stays the fuck away from me, I stay the fuck away from her." Gabe took another sip of coffee. "Honestly, I would have it no other way."

Deborah Lillian Termellio.

Getting information out of Vera was harder than she realized. Because of her own weakness, she had to rely on her own senses instead of her power to figure things out... Which was pretty fucking hard. So, it was a godsend when Vera actually explained a few things. Okay, apparently she knew Chris before, and he was a nice guy. Deborah looked as she took a sip of her coffee. Some random guy shoved Chris to the ground (Tough guy, likely a former gang member.) which got a drink poured on him (Orange Juice.). Thanks power, I couldn't have realized that myself! Debby rolled her eyes as she continued watching. What was interesting was the boy's power, Deborah saw him use it and got a goldmine of information (Has a powerful biological ability. He can break down other organic materials for sustenance. Which is required to keep him going). Matt basically shrugged off the water getting poured on him, and absorbed it into his body (Doesn't want confrontation, despite obvious advantage, but he also doesn't want to show weakness.). This Matt fellow was obviously just another tough guy to wander in, but he had actual strength to back it up, and at least knew it would be preferable to avoid fighting outside the arena. Though, Deborah was going to put him on her list of people to avoid. Just because.

The question caught her off guard, since she was focusing so much on Matt and Chris that she forgot about Vera. A side effect of getting caught up in your own thoughts. "...O-oh yeah, it was great." Debby quickly answered, though she was stumbling. After getting a moment or two to get into the rhythm of the conversation.

Chris said goodbye to Peter, leaving the Tin Man to his own devices, while coming over here. This actually might work in her favor, because she can actually read him (Old friends. Haven't seen or spoken in years. Vera's shock confirms it.) Hm, this might require a bit more of a backseat role. Not to interrupt their reunion or anything, and so she can focus on making connection and getting information. A moment of note was when Vera brought up the cut on Chris's palm (Received it when he was knocked over by Matt.). Once again, she was caught off guard when Vera addressed her. God dammit, she wanted to be alone with her information! "Hi!" This time, she wasn't stumbling, because how could she? However, she urged them to ignore her while she reads them, "... But, don't mind me, go on with your reunion." ... And spill all your delicious secrets.

Red Winston

The few lines that Red heard from Matt's mouth were his precious treasure. He just told him something that Amanda didn't. The name of the power instructor was Adam Blackmore. That means that Amanda had a relative in the Academy, apart from Nikki. Which meant that, since she didn't tell him, Red was actually free of her game whenever he wanted. After all, it was an important bit of information, since it was about the staff of the Academy. It didn't matter if she forgot to tell him, or she thought it was obvious enough, since he would meet him later, but she didn't tell him and that's that. Red chuckled. He would be using this opportunity to break the deal with Amanda, as soon as he found out who Deborah was and, by the strings of fate, she actually told him. If he was the sentimental type, he would certainly hug Matt.

Thank God, Amanda actually sent him to Deborah, in order to talk about God-knows-what. Red pitied Matt, who would be unlucky enough to be her conversation partner. He was wondering how long could he keep it up before Amanda made him leave. He bet the conversation wouldn't hold on for more than 10 minutes, since the guy didn't really seem interested at them, just like he thought. If Amanda was clever enough and asked about what Red's powers exactly were, she would know that she could ask him about how to approach the tough dude. Red probably had lots of people with the same personality locked in his mind, so he could tell her a thing or two about him. But Red didn't care at all about Amanda and the shenanigans she wanted to pull so, just as she said, he left the pair, saying:

"Sorry Amanda, I am going to be too busy from now on to do what you say!"

He left the duo and headed to Deborah's table. The one-armed guy was there too, speaking to another girl who was sitting there. But Red quickly lost his interest to the guy, too. Instead, he made a quick scan to Deborah, to see what he could find out about her. But, instead of doing it in his mind, he actually told her what he deduced, in order to make an impression to her. Since she was on about secrets, he thought he should show her what he could do himself.

"Dark skin color and the shape of the skull indicate African ethnicity, though I assume you are not full-fledged African. Muscle stracture on the legs indicate that you are a track runner, which can be verified by your clothing. From the scars in your fists, I can say that you had your own share of brawls. Sorry for being so straightforward, but I heard a lot about you and I thought I should make an impression. My name is Red Winston. I really wanted to meet you, Deborah!" he said and waited for Deborah to let him sit on the table.

Christopher Fox

Chris was surprised with Vera's warm welcome. She was also at the Academy during the incident and she was one of the healers that helped the surviving students recover. To be frank, Chris was sure that even Vera, who was one of the most gentle people he met, wouldn't be able to forgive what he did, but he was proved wrong. It seems that the goodness in her heart knew no bounds. Chris was a good friend of Vera, back then and was always watching out for her. She was also one of the two people that knew about his crush on Vespera and, like a true friend, she never told anyone. He felt like he found his younger sister, a person who he could share anything, just like with Henry. Once again, he was ready to cry, but he didn't want Vera to see that. She was a person that Chris didn't want to show tears to. Instead, he gave her a hug with his one arm and his fist closed, so as to not stain her clothes with the blood he had in his palm from the cut he received.

"Right now, I wish I had another arm, just to give you a proper hug! I missed you so much Vee!" he said, sniffing every now and then to hold out the tears.

Vera looked at his hand, which was cut due to the previous incident with Matt. She was probably eager to heal him, but Chris knew that exerting your powers is tiring and he didn't want Vera to do so, even for a cut this small. His assumption was confirmed when Vera herself asked to have his hand so she can do something about it. He nodded negatively, saying:

"I have put you in enough trouble in the past. It is hard to imagine to what excess you used your powers to clean the mess I've made back then. There is no need to do that anymore. I am going to be fine!"

He also introduced himself to Deborah, who, as he could see now, was the same person that Valjean was hugging, or, to be precise, head-locking. He wasn't going to judge her because of her possible boyfriend, she could be a good person, after all.

"Hello, Deborah! I've seen you in the Administration Room with my roommate the other day, although we didn't get to speak. My name is Chris, I am an old friend of Vera's and the roommate of Valjean. Sorry for not shaking hands, but my hand is a little dirty!" he said with a smile.

He once again turned to Vera, excited:

"I think we have some catching up to do! I have so many years to see you, I really want to know how have you been!"

Well at least Sylvia the same. As for this guy being a regenerator? He had to stop himself from grinning darkly. Especially since he could still feel pain. That means while he would keep healing, he would constantly be in extreme pain if Stephen were to try and burn him alive with his thermal energy, of course he would have to blind himself and probably more to do that, but would this guy be able to breathe easily enough under the extreme heat conditions? The questions he had would probably never be answered because of the staff watching over in the arena, and so far this guy didn't seem like the kind of guy that would be fighting outside unless forced to.

"You're scared of being hurt...?" That was a reasonable point, but if it would just grow back then what's the problem? It's not like he was being tortured. Once it grew back wouldn't the pain be gone because nothing was wrong with him anymore? Of course on the flip side of that coin how fast could he regenerate his body parts? He too was interested in whether this guy could regenerate, and if so how fast. "Would you rather stab an internal organ, or perhaps slit your throat instead? It's rare to see such things." At this point though he was purely just trying to figure out how far this guy could go.

Matt sighed when Amanda got onto him. He was in the wrong, he'd admit it. "Yes dear." he said, rolling his eyes as Amanda spoke. He stared at the fork she suddenly brought up to her hand and raised his hands in a half assed surrender. "Oh no, she's got a fork!" He said, smirking and allowing his hands to fall back behind his head. He listened to her evil plan and couldn't help but smile. "That's the most evil thing I've ever heard of. I cant believe he is actually falling for that." Matt said, grinning wickedly. Normally he wouldn't believe that, but he had just seen some kid next to her call himself her butt slave.

She then pulled back, speaking about the arena. He had turned someone into a smear on the metal a little after he got here, because the kid had underestimated him, but otherwise had not been too keen on fighting anyone. More so on training. "I hear that." He said, nodding. He raised an eyebrow when she became so dramatic. "What makes me worthy? Hell if I know. Worst you can say is no... And maybe stab me with a fork. But I'd live." His smirk widened when she spoke in the way she just had about the forest. "I look forward to it."

By this time a new person came over, one armed, made of metal, had a speech impediment. He was a bit higher than to pick fun at the speech part, so he opted to give the man an actual legible response. "While I agree with Amanda," he began evenly. "I get what you're saying. I get it." Mecha-Ghadi here had somewhat of a point. "I don't do anything I wont regret. I've made enemies like you wouldn't believe through stupid decision... Or would believe." He said, looking over the man. "And I'm still here." He wanted to tell the guy off, ask him if he were the other one armed guys brother, tell him to go bother the real bully, Valjean. But he wanted to get back to talking to Amanda, and he felt that being as ass wouldn't get him anywhere. "I cant do anything about it. And he seems fine." He cast a quick look over to Chris to make sure his point was valid. "No harm no foul."

Morrison couldn't say he disagreed with Shannon or Jack, who he greeted silently, on one of the school's most disliked resident, though he manages to tolerate the bully to some extent being himself. He still disliked Jean but they were at a standstill of sorts which had gone on for several years now, Morrison wasn't willing to fight him and Jean didn't want to have hellish nights or exhaustion filled mornings so it kept them away from one another. Despite this it was hard not to laugh when the bully got taken down a peg or two especially when he knew it was coming. But he had been hearing about Jean being much more aggressive lately which was not something he liked hearing with all of the newer students around who the man could mess with.

"Suppose I'll be here if things go wrong and knowing Jean they will." The Cajun said sounding more tired with the large Frenchie than usual. "Try not to enrage him like last time Shannon, the janitors had a lot of cleaning to do after that."

Morrison was expecting the worst from a prank on Jean and his concerns were usually warranted, especially considering who he was with, but if it happened he was often willing to get in the way which left it up to the Frenchie if it was worth the effort or consequences of going through him. Either way he was enough of a nuisance and a threat to keep things from escalating all of the time. One big thing he was not determined to rely on was putting Jean out with his newer power simply because it could cause more problems than it solved in the first place. Really it all came down to Shannon and Jack with whatever decision the two of them decided to make but Morrison would be on standby once again to stop a brawl in the cafeteria.

Deborah Lillian Termellio.

Heh, yeah Valjean... She scratched the back of her neck. She felt sorry for Chris because, out of everyone here, he had to be paired up with Valjean. But, Jesus, she was withdrawn from this conversation on purpose. She didn't have anything to say, and the best information is obtained through silence. But, for once, she didn't know what to say when Chris talked to her. All she could do was say, "Hey... Yeah, I think I saw you too." (Correct) Before remaining quiet. They have catching up to do, but Deborah felt that her time here was over. They would eventually suspect that she's only here to get information about them. However, another fellow approached her, it was that kid that was with Amanda (Directed here by Amanda. Wishes for my assistance.). Interesting. Who wants information from the Secret Keeper today? She grinned softly, looking up at Red for even the slightest body language to tip her off.

Then he starts rambling about some rather irrelevant (And quite frankly, obvious) things. Which made Deborah roll her eyes (He possesses an observational ability just like me. Except weaker.). If it wasn't for her own power (He wishes to make an impression by displaying his ability) telling her of his intentions, she would have gotten the impression he was trying too hard to sound smart (Red is a nickname). Deborah shrugged, "Chill, you don't have to try to impress me." She said, somewhat amused. "You already told me everything I need to know just by walking up." Deborah took a sip of her coffee. Idly continuing, "And you want what everyone wants from me, information." This was to get him to open up, so her power will keep running, and she'll keep getting information about him.

Matthias Landon Oxenford, & Sylvia Lana Bertoose.

"No! Yes... Just because I can heal doesn't mean I should hurt myself willy nilly!" Matthias objected almost immediately. He didn't know what was up with this Stephen kid. Actually, he could turn the tables on this kid. "Would you like to get stabbed or get your throat slit? What are you, some sadist?" He looked Stephen square in the eye. He hated people who thought that just because he can regenerate that he should get hurt for no reason at all. In fact, he was getting tired of this conversation. "Maybe once one of you cut your fingers off, then I'll do it."

Sylvia rolled her eyes. Not just because of Matthias, because of Stephen too. She was just trying to have fun, and here this weirdo comes up and starts acting bizarre - Being the one who ruins her fun. She was playing around and didn't even want this guy to cut off his finger (Which was insanely obvious to anyone who wasn't socially inept). But him... He talked like he was being serious. Which caused her to roll her eyes. She knew that the school would always have people like him. She was going to give Stephen a subtle cue of how she really feels. "What are you, a whackjob?" She strummed her guitar lightly. Subtle as it gets. "Like who talks like that? You're acting like you actually get off from stuff like that."

Alex

Alex continued to eat as if what she had said about her sleeping for three hours was completely normal. After finishing her first cup of coffee she picked up her second, blowing the steam off of it. Alex knew that she didn't need the caffeine boost, and yet she continued to drink coffee throughout the years. “Yeah the moon here is super cool! I think it's because we are in the middle of nowhere. If we were surrounded by skyscrapers and smoggy factories the moon wouldn't be as bright!” Alex spoke with a lot of pep in her voice, as if this was the absolutely best thing in the world. She listened to what Lynn said with a smile on her face, it was nice to hear her friend speak. For Alex it seemed like she was always talking, so it was nice to hear someone elses voice for a change. And Lynn had an interesting way of speaking. Not only did she speak with a lot of profanities, she just had a cool way of saying things.

After Lynn gave her description of her roommate Alex jumped back into the conversation. “Yeah I know her! I saw her yesterday!” As long as the one-eyed girl didn't mess with Lynn everything would be okay. The last thing Alex wanted was for Lynn to have a bad time at the Academy because she was assigned a crappy roommate. And even though Lynn didn't mention it, Alex had to throw in her own description of her roommate. “My roommate is pretty cool, she doesn't mind my glowing and woke up early to smoke weed.” Her voice was almost too loud for comfort. “But she doesn't seem like a bad person so I'm fine.” She then nodded. “Yeah...I don't want to come to some super cool school to do math.”

She then shook her head. “Nah...I haven't heard anything about the arena.” She then went quiet again, finishing off her plate of food and starting up her coffee again. “You must be a really good fighter Lynn!” She said with a grin, one that disappeared for only a second when Lynn asked if she was a fighter. “I...uh...” She looked as if she was struggling to form words. “I've gotten in a few fights...nothing too major...” She looked like she was hesitating, as if wondering if she should continue talking or just leave it at that. She left it as it was. “I normally try to avoid using my powers to harm others.”

But as soon as Lynn mentioned watching each other's backs her eyes lit back up. If anything this might have been the most excited Lynn had ever seen her. Her eyes seemed to be twinkling and her hair seemed to drift around, glowing with some strange energy. Yep the moon was bright last night. “So we are like partners now!” If Lynn was paying enough attention she might observe tiny bursts of light around Alex, fading quickly into the sunlight. “Oh my goodness! We can be like each others sidekicks!”

Red Winston

Deborah was more than what Red was expecting. It was apparently part of her ability, but she seemed to be able to make deductions, even better than he did. It didn't matter. Actually, in front of him saw a possible intellectual peer and, above all else, someone who could be invaluable to his quest. With that in thought, Red changed his initial plan of just asking information and sought an alternative. Her eyes, however, were too occupied scanning him, which made him wonder if Deborah was interested at all in what he had to say, or she was just profiling him. He could tell her everything she wanted to know herself, but he thought that he might spoil a habit that Deborah liked, finding information on her own and all that.

"It's true that I am seeking information from you...was seeking information to be exact. From what you said, I can safely assume that you don't only have an observational ability, but something higher than that, which gives you the priviledge of getting inormation, that I lack. You see, my ability is related to information too, but, if you say that you can learn about me just because I am walking over you, I can take a guess and say that you can generate information, while I can use and compare the information I already have. That's why, I hate to say it, but my powers apparently can't rival yours. But I guess I am superior to you in another aspect. Motivation. I mean, you have this awesome power and you are in the school for more than a year, but why waste your time gossiping about me or any other students, while we can dig deeper? I have something in mind, something big. And, to be frank, I need allies to accomplish it. Allies that I can trust, smart enough to help me. You see, despite the great cause the Academy offers, it is also a place shrouded in mystery. While no one seems to actually give much though into it, I guess that people like me and you are too nosy to not find out more about this place. And, by saying more, I mean everything...With that being said, I want us to form some sort of alliance. We are both equals, our only goal being to uncover everything related to the Academy. So, what do you say about me calling you partner?"

Poppy Flanaga

The disbelief was spelled clear across Poppy's face, however it quickly disappeared. Considering the giant lizard for a teacher she was willing to accept anything. Theresa's kind of power was along the lines of something that she hadn't considered could be a power. Now she was wondering what else she'd see on her first day of school. "Oh, okay." She couldn't think of much else to say. "Have not tried what?" Poppy said innocently. What exactly Theresa was talking about she didn't know, but she had some guesses. It was better that she played it off like she did though. The shaking of her fork received some giggles, at least that much was funny. "Thanks  for the heads up..." Nervousness seeped into Poppy's voice. Half from the prospect of being altered by Theresa's power, half in case she asked about her own ability. Last time father came to visit I blacked out and the next thing I know there's sirens and uniformed people took me away and kept referring to me as meta-human. What that amounts to is "I hurt Daddy so they sent me here..." One eyed bitch had shown her just how sheltered she was. I really hope they can help me here, everyone else seems to know what they can do.

Vespera Spindel

Vespera wait for some time before deciding on where she should settle down. Observing the group dynamics none of the groups would begin her day right. I didn't see that coming. Whatever could cause Chrisypoo to waste juice like that. At first she was simply entertained, then intrigued. So he can absorb liquids. She had seen Matt around, but never got acquainted. What she did know is he was cocky. When Chris left she decided to make her move. See what the handicapped tinman were about while she was at it. Might as well start with the one she was least familiar with, so she took up a seat across from Peter leaving a comfortable amount of space between her and the others. He also happen to be the most interesting, at least visually.

As not to get off being perceived as rude she acknowledged Amanda as soon as their was a gap in the conversation with Red's departure. "Good morning Amanda, and it's nice to meet the two of you. My name's Vespera." She looked at Matt then Peter. "I feel static in the air, how peculiar." While she was very curious she didn't want to start off prying information out of him, there was also the chance it wasn't him.

Stephen Avarian

Stephen smiled almost sympathetically. First he turned his head toward Matthias. "Actually depending on the circumstances I would have no trouble allowing myself to be injured, though you are correct that this is a ridiculous time that no one would actually expect it to happen. The true question in my mind is how would you react." He let out a slight chuckle. The fact that this guy thought that he was some kind of sadist made him laugh a little, whether he was serious or not.

Then he look back down at Sylvia and his smile dropped. "Please. You are the one who has fun with it, I see it as an opportunity to learn something new about this guy. Normally I'd just talk to him normally, but I figured I might as well take advantage of your fun and actually gain something from it." He closed his eyes and let out a sigh. "If one doesn't learn all they can then the unknown can become their undoing..." At this point Stephen just trailed off into though for a moment. "In any case, sorry to ruin your fun Sylvia." He remained standing there and began to eat a little more of his food.

Cordelia Lynn Holmes

The moon? Eh. Lynn never ventured too far out the city, but she did remember a full moon, a brilliant one, huge beyond belief, with more stars than anyone could ever dream of counting, no city lights or-

Lynn closed her eyes, face scrunching up in brutal concentration for a moment. Her shadow, splashed out against the wall behind her, twitched, then reached out, arms splitting from two dimensions into three, and placed its clawed hands gently on Lynn's temples for a moment. Lynn seemed to relax, shoulders sagging a bit and a look of idyllic content rolling across her features. Her chapped lips nudged at a smile, and after a second or two the shadow drew back, Lynn blinking out of the trance. She was, seemingly, entirely unaware that anything was wrong.

What had they been talking about? The moon? Yeah, Lynn never paid much attention to the damned moon. Occasionally, and that was occasionally with a capital everything, you could see it from the outskirts of Chicago, but Lynn never went out of her way to do something as retarded as stargazing. But, hey, if this chick got off on moon energy, Lynn wasn't about to start knocking astronomy. No point in pissing off the one person there who liked her.

The shadow resumed its normal behavior, in perfect sync with its mistress-rarely, it would be a second slow in matching her movements, but for all intents in purposes, it was as docile and obedient as Alex's. "Yeah, waking up early to get baked. Sounds like you got paired with a real winner there. That's coming from me." Lynn fumbled in her pockets for a cigarette, pulling out of her pack. She had about half of it left. Eh. Lynn didn't need them, they were just nice to have. Really, she only did it because she felt like it. If you were to, say, imply that Lynn perhaps had a dependency upon the little deathsticks, she would perhaps make you dependent on ice packs and epsom salts for a few days. Lynn smoked, puffing out the vapor in an unnecessarily long sigh. "Hope you don't mind secondhand smoke," she said, figuring maybe Alex wasn't down with it or whatever. She adjusted her positioning, legs dangling over the ledge, and blew out towards the jungle instead of towards Mary Poppins. That was especially cool with Lynn because she didn't really like eye contact unless she was trying to shake somebody down. She could win a staring contest with Medusa, but she didn't really jive with looking at people in casual conversations. Actually, she didn't really jive with casual conversations. Or people. Lynn considered her possible social shortcomings about as frequently as she considered things like turning away from a life of crime and joining a convent. "If they make us do math or whatever, I say we just meet up here and go mess around in the jungle for a while. I saw one of the Rambo movies, there's gotta be some cool shit in there. Like maybe some lost Mayan temple or whatever. I mean a school like this, there's gotta be cool stuff somewhere. I heard there's a shipwreck, too." Lynn considered her rather unpleasant trip over and frowned. "Well, as long as the shipwreck's not moving, I'll be alright. Fuck the ocean."

Lynn glanced at Alex at her compliment. She must be a good fighter. Well...it was true. Sort of. Lynn never thought of herself like that, because Lynn tried to avoid fights. Not to say she avoided conflict-just that if she had to beat the shit out of someone, she wasn't about to give them a fighting chance. A good fighter. Was she? She'd won fights. Lynn was very rarely fighting against her own weight class, which meant her win/loss record was a little more skewed towards the loss side, but damn if she hadn't put up a fight. She could take a punch, and she could sure as hell give one. Cordelia Lynn had beaten more than a few people bigger than her, but...she glanced down at her scarred knuckles and rolled her wrists for a minute. Why the hell was she uncomfortable hearing that? Alex...Alex had shaken Lynn up a bit with that comment-I mean truly rattled her, not just made her question the viability of using the moon as a life source or having a tail. Lynn took another deep puff on the cigarette and shook herself out of her self-loathing. Get your shit together Cordelia. As Morticia showed you yesterday, this place is just as full of assholes as Chicago was. You start having a little morality crisis you're going to get your ass handed to. Stop being a pussy and grow a pair.

Lynn's self-pep talks were generally effective, and never G-rated.

Lynn, however, was quite good at one other thing-a skill that was vital to staying out of prison and staying alive-she was observant as all hell. Perhaps not empathetic, but observant. You watch people's faces, learn to spot when they've got serious stuff going on? The guy who's wife got stabbed in a mugging gone wrong's not going to notice his pockets feeling a little lighter for another mile or so. Alex had that look, as she talked about fighting, and Lynn realized she may have touched a nerve. Damn. Maybe Nightlight had a dark past. Lynn was one to respect people's boundaries, which was a rather uncharacteristic trait of hers-given that she was never close to that many people, however, she was usually content to let you keep your business to yourself. Most people's bullshit didn't really interest her, anyways. "Huh. Well, world doesn't give you much choice sometimes. And it's more fun to kick somebody's ass without powers, anyways?"

It didn't sound convincing, even to Lynn. Alex was...something about Alex was both magnetic and disconcerting. She couldn't figure out what the hell it was. Part of her felt like she needed to watch out for her-that Nightlight was going to get chewed alive by the lizardmen and Morticias. She didn't look all that tough. Looks, they could be deceiving, as Lynn used to be proof of (these days, her look was pretty spot-on). But a part of Lynn almost felt like Alex was going to be watching out for her. Not even in a physical sense-Lynn had one hell of a bodyguard on duty already. Lynn didn't often consider her spirituality, or really reflect on her deeds. Thoughts like that made people soft and pillows hard. Lynn took another calming puff of her cigarette. God, what was getting into her? She needed to hit the punching bag. Or go for a run. Something.

Then Alex's hair started floating and she really lit up, which immediately made Lynn wonder what the hell Alex did during sex. I mean, damn. I bet it's like a rave. She also vaguely realized that Alex was probably deadlier than Pokemon when it came to epilepetic people. "Glad you're down with that. But let's stick with partners. Sidekicks are gay. Partners are cool. If you piss off that slutty goth looking chick again, now I have an excuse to smack the emo out of her." Lynn figured this was a pretty safe investment, in Machiavellian terms. Alex was too happy-go-lucky to go looking for fights-but, then again, she had to have gotten that little scar of hers somewhere. Lynn felt a twinge of guilt at the deal-it was favored pretty heavily towards Cordelia, who was far more likely to get into a scuffle than Alex-but whatever. While she would never admit it, the Academy was going to be damned lonely without someone (a second someone, if you wanted to be specific) watching her back, and Alex didn't annoy her. She hadn't ever had steady, solid relationships with people, but there was a sense of familiarity with people back home. A sense of being both at home, and alienated, all at once. There was a little of that with Nightlight, but it was more of the former. Good deal more.

"Yeah, partners," Lynn said, trying to fill the silence. "Should be good. So, uh, where you from and all?"

Deborah Lillian Termellio.

"Wrong." Deborah immediately said when Red suggested she could generate information - seriously, that's just silly. You can only get information, unless... A bunch of stuff she doesn't feel like describing. "I get information on what I see by making connections to events and filling in the gaps of information." Deborah was completely comfortable sharing her power with Red. Some people might not like her gift, but it wasn't a problem since she and Red aren't so different (His power is more probability and estimation based than mine. Room for error...). Deborah continued listening to Red's -Damn this kid is long winded- big speech about his goals and what he proposes. It wasn't a surprise to say that her power told her what Red wanted (He wants the secrets of the school, and I'm the only person who can really help him) before he even stated it. Soooo... Mr. Red wants to uncover the secrets of the Academy, eh? Deborah shrugged and grinned lightly. "I don't knooooooow... You don't understand how interesting gossip can be." She took a sip of her coffee, "Who fucked who, and has this TD.... It's so fiendishly delicious to take apart a person's life piece by piece..."

Deborah started laughing. "... But, it's like my friend said, it's all the same shit if you get down to it." She laughed some more, wiping some coffee that got on her lips off. "I'm in. I was waiting for the moment someone gets off their ass and finally starts decoding this place." It wasn't like Deborah had anything better to do than gossip and talk to people - Basically the same damn thing she's been doing since she got here. "You know, because we only fill a certain niche, I think we should get some more people with our little mystery hunt. There's my friend Shannon, she'll definitely help us..." Deborah awkwardly laughed underneath her breath. Wouldn't it be a perfect date, out mystery solving, and kicking ass? Yeah, Shannon would love that. "... As for anyone else, I'm clueless. Everyone else I can think of...." Deborah let out a groan as she tried to explain it, "... Is either doing their own thing, or we don't want their help. But I can find people who are willing to help us."

There was plenty more to talk about. Deborah knows of a few secrets of the school herself. "While that place is easily the last place I would go.... They say that the ruins has a secret prison underneath it." Deborah turned her eye towards the door. "My power tells me that those rumors are correct." She said, her tone implied that she was even proud. "Another thing you should know is that if you want to get something from the Headmaster, then perhaps I can help. Just chat him up about something and I can sort of... decode it for. People can't lie to me...."

Actually, all this talk about Deborah's amazing ability actually made her think of it's short comings. She should definitely share them before she gets Red's expectations too high, and she dashes them all in one well swoop. "Now, I know my power is amazing and everything, but I do have a few faults." She put a finger up, "First, I need a starting point, that I actually need to perceive, I can't pull information out my ass. Second, incomplete or false information leads to incomplete and false deductions. Third, my power doesn't work too well on other Extra-Sensory types, and certain Cerebral types."

The second Deborah was finished talking, she let out a sigh. She was going to wait and see what Red had to say.

Theresa Sindel Obott.

When Poppy asked 'tried what?', Theresa couldn't help but giggle like a schoolgirl. It was a very immature joke to begin with, and probably would have gotten her whacked outside the head if she made that to, say, her mother. "... Ooooooh, nothing." She went back to eating her food. Despite Poppy giggling, Theresa had the idea that her joke went over the little girl's head. The question about Poppy's power came up, but Theresa wasn't too interested in it, honestly. She was only telling Poppy her own power for her safety, because she didn't want Poppy to have an overdose before class even starts. Keeping quiet had to be the first choice when people talked about their powers. Because as far as her fellow students were concerned, Theresa could only regenerate and wore the scarf as a fashion statement. Another conversational subject came when Theresa's good friend Ethan sat down. A friend of hers that has been coming, usually he's seen with. She smiled at her friend, greeting him, "Ethan, heyyy! You know you don't ever have to ask me to sit down." Theresa took a sip of her drink. "I was meaning to talk to you, I saw Vera yesterday when people had to start vigorously ego-stroking."  Theresa gave Ethan a toothy grin. "Sooooo stupid, but funny in sad way."

Ethan and Theresa were close friends, not as close as Theresa and Dana's relationship, but yeah. "Oh, oh, yeah. Ethan this is my new room mate, Poppy. Poppy, this is my friend Ethan." She introduced her room mate, not to be rude and all. "I finally convinced them to place me with the girls." That was probably not the best conversation, so Theresa quickly changed subjects. "-But, yeah, how are you two doing? Excited for class today? We're doing power training with Adam this time around. I'm soooo excited for that." Theresa was generally sarcastic. She didn't care for classes, just like anyone else here. But, Adam was one of the better people here. One of the few people she could trust with her real power.

Amanda Daisy Blackmore.

While Matt was getting all sentimental, Amanda took a backseat role. At least he AGREED with me. "Oh, how humble of you." Amanda whispered, looking up at Matt. She wouldn't say such things herself, but, heh, people are different. Amanda leaned into Matt and whispered into his ear, "... That's what makes you worthy." She left the implication obvious. Hopefully, this would be the point where the metal armed man would leave and let her have fun time with a potential new fling. She saw him as attractive... Strong jawline, muscular, tattooes... She must have him! And leave every other girl who gets in the way Tyrannosaurus wrecked. Unfortunately, Spider-Tits came up and started being creepy. Eww, she was surprised that nobody crushed her underneath their boot. She stuck out her tongue in a gesture of disgust. Whispering something else in Matt's ear, "That emo chick right there is Vespera... A huge weirdo. But she's going to try to challenge you to the arena." She giggled in his ear, very suggestively. "Cause, she likes fighting the newfags cause she too scared to fight the bitches on top, like me." She bumped him, "Juuuust letting you know.... I have your back. If she challenges you, I'll be your second."

That whispering concluded there. Amanda had to turn her attention to Vespera. She said in the most cheery tone ever, "Heeeeeey, Pera, how was your morning?" She put her hands together, with the most cheery smile she could force. "Bet it was bright and sunny as the rest of your life!" Since Vespera wears black and dresses all gloomy and shit... Amanda couldn't help but poke fun at that. Amanda couldn't help but urge her guests to leave. With a smile on her face, she did a gesture like she was telling them to leave, "Perhaps you and Tin-Man can go chit-chat somewhere else. We have... important matters to attend to."

Matthias Landon Oxenford, & Sylvia Lana Bertoose.

Honestly, Stephen was one chucklefuck. The king of the chucklefucks if Sylvia exaggerated it. Getting information? About this loser? Then getting all philosophical? Bitch please. Sylvia rolled her eyes, casually strummed her guitar. She made the guitar louder, while silencing Stephen's voice a bit, as a sign of her general disinterest in what he had to say. She would argue with this fool, but they were two different brands of people. Stephen was a chucklefuck, and he can go straight up chuckle fuck himself. There was no reasoning with such people, it was better if you left them alone. But it would be out of character if Sylvia left without voicing her mind. She was waiting until he was done talking. "Oh, you're done talking, Nietzsche?" Her eyes widened, "Last time I checked, there was a difference between learning and being casually cruel." She shrugged, "But, I have no business arguing with puesdo-philosophical chucklefucks." She got off the table and tipped her hat, "I'm tired of this table and everyone in it. Later chucklefucks. Perhaps we'll see again..." Sylvia shrugged, "... Perhaps we won't." Sylvia walked off without even waiting for a response.

Matthias shrugged, he was quiet ever since Sylvia opened her mouth. Now that she was gone, he could talk to Stephen one on one. Mano y mano (Wait, doesn't that mean, 'hand to hand'? Whatever.). Matthias looked at Stephen dead in the eye, trying to be serious as they come. "Look, pal, I don't know you, buuuuut, there are better ways of asking than asking if I'll mutilate myself!" Matthias tried to be serious, but his tone came off as whiny.
