I have had an idea my head for a while now and would like to pitch it to you guys, alright here it is:

A lush fantasy world abundant with forests, jungles and swamps where elves, goblins and other mythical beings frolic or otherwise wage minor diputes against each other is a land of harmony and happiness. Coincidently, the myriad of humans who lived in the rare expanses of plain or tundra have been coerced by what the elders of the elven tribes call the demon of the apocalypse to set fire and destruction to the world. The armies of man raze large expanses of forest and kill countless rivals to their new blind cause. luckily a few young upstarts of what elven tribes remain untouched by this corruption plan on a counter attack....

This is where you come in, you may take the role of an elf and do as you please, to either aid a counter movement and sneak past enemy lines and dispatch this great evil from the root, or perhaps enlist in a rebel army of humans (few have disobeyed the demon). Depending on your own demeanor maybe these options aren't very pleasing to you.. no matter, you have the option of joining the demons forces and laying waste to all before you as a human in the apocalyptic army! thoughts? comments? concerns? (I do have more details but want to see if anyone is interested first.)

I am interested but can we choose to be other kind of races such as Dwarves(my favourite fantasy race) or Orcs etc.

What kind of elves would they be? And roughly what real-world era would this be set in?

Im not familiar with nrp, feel free to pm me what it is if you want. Anyway, this is your classic fantasy realm, magic and sword. Medieval roughly. As for the elves, thwy are woodland, slightly shorter than humans, fair complexure and light eyes and hair. However im willing to woek with peoolw who want to makw a dark elf. The elves of caves and the underground in this world. (Heavy prejudces are held between the two as the dark elves are cynical and unwilling to aid the forests politically against the demon army.)

Im working on the race list. It occurs to me clearly that people want variety. So far i have the humans, the woodland elves, the dark elves, dwarves (living in mountianous regions north of the untouched forests, final stand against the assault of the demon army), and goblins who kinda wandee nomadicly in the forest. If you have a suggestion for an entire race.or just want to make a unique character, let.me know.and ill work it in (preferably via pm)... just know your only requirement is to choose who you support (demons or woodlands) unless of course you somehow manage a thoughtful and still fun way to be nuetral, in which case let me know.

There will be magic, naturally. It works as such: humans hold very little understanding on magic and therefore rarely know it, so i prefer all humans dont use it (pm me for special exceptions), dwarves and other hardy races hold a special resistance to it, not greatly but its there and while they may not be able to conjure up powerful forces, the greatest dwarven smiths know how to hammer magic into their creations for special weapons and armor. Elves pull their mystic magic straight from the forest, the Elder tree of their tribe infact. The stronger the tree and their harmony with nature, the greater the nature magic. Dark elves weild fire and storm as weapons with the use of long forgotten knowledge. If you want a special exception pm me on anything and i will consider. Im okay with magical characters, just nothing too overpowered or excessive.

How many more are you expecting?
