The Idris are anti-Evokers, and they are everywhere. If that were true, there would be no Evokers. They'd stick out like a polar bear in a crowd of Grizzlies.

oooh
didnt read pg 70
They already know where you are. THEY KNOWS

The basic Vocator (imperial Evoker hunter) cannot sense Relics or other Evokers outright through any magical sense. But they are trained to recognize the subtle signs present in most Evokers. And the not-so-subtle signs too. There may be one or two in the imperial army capable of detecting evokers, but he or she (or they) have yet to be unveiled. Mind you, these Vocators primary goal is capture, not to kill. The Empire doesn't hate Evokers the way the Idris do.

While the Kalesians generally believe that evokers should all be controlled, the primary goal at this stage of the invasion isn't to capture Evokers. Sure, they won't mind if they do capture some, but its far easier to catch them after they have full control.

I would be the new person Ellri asked about earlier...

Though I dare say my character idea is somewhat risky - gm may not like it, and it may be deemed not fitting for the world.

I don't want to speak too soon, but you would have to be trying hard for me to say no outright.

Edit:

I haven't used Sitara in a while, does anybody need someone for interaction purposes?

Thats encouraging.

What is your opinion on planar rifts? Its more a means to explain and quantify what I have in mind than the feature itself but still.

is anyone waiting on anyone else

I'm actually waiting for Artemis to reply to Princess Twinkledee and Marcus. But they're well ahead of the rest I'd say so there's no rush for that.

I'm thinking of doing a post for Shin, but it'd be rather pointless to just let him run around the city and look at how things are developing, won't it? :'D

That's interesting, I would need to hear more before forming an opinion.

Mmm, I suspected as much.

I shall be preparing an in depth explanation sometime soon, once I get my own GMing responsibilities done.

Oh.. Sorry, I just figured that they'd first make a camp and Vagabond asked Artemis a question so I thought you'd want to reply...

Sorry, but Artemis won't be posting again at all. Because Spark decided he would rather be passive agressive than work our problems out like civilized people, I'm resigning from this RP.

And yes Spark, this timr I DID mean to be condescending.

I say vocator ambush, Artemis gets critically wounded/captured and you two escape.

If there were already Vocator groups waiting on the other side of the lake, then most escape plans are doomed. Myth and Tyrell wouldn't stand a chance; they're straight-up fighters, more or less, nothing tactical or strategic. Just heavy armor, swordmanship, fire, and lightning. In the woods, against stealthy and fast opponents, they wouldn't be able to hold their own.

But then again, I can't quite think of anything else. A bear attacks, gets Artemis before he can call for help? Wolves? Gets stuck in quicksand, and he angers a poisonous snake?

The vocators aren't flawless, and they aren't everywhere. But still, its better to have Artemis die.
