Alrighty:

This is mostly an announcement post versus an actual "interest" check post (mainly because I do have some players in this story already), but I wanted to know if anyone else would be interested in joining as soon as I post this RP up.

The setting is fairly simple - a world known as The Crossroads will be a setting (more detail will come with the actual OOC), but essentially, this is an RP that all universes will collide. Want to see a hobbit have a drink with a Stormtrooper? Want to see Abe Lincoln fight to the death against Master Chief? This will be the place see (and do) just that! Also, player driven story will be encouraged (but as the GM, I will be guiding things along if things become a little stale). I will ask you to enter your character into my world (seeing that I wouldn't know how your character got to my world).

There is a lot more detail, but if you're interested, let me know here! The actual story will be arriving in the next one to three weeks (depending how fast the other characters' plotlines can be caught up to a point where I can transfer everything to this forum).

1) You can have as many characters as you want! But there is a catch - you can only play one at a time. Therefore, if you want to move to a different character because you get bored, you can cause your "current" character to go to sleep, get K.O, sit in a tavern booth for a bit, etc. Now, sometimes, there will be a rare occurrence, if the story calls for it, you may be able to play two characters at once, but again. It's rare.

2) As for the amount of characters, we currently have about 5 players (two of them haven't gotten back to me on the decision to move, so they're considered "pending" at the moment). Two of them have two characters, one has three, and the rest have a single character. It can be a lot of bouncing back and forth, but it's a good variety to keep things interesting.

3) As to prior things, don't worry. I'll be posting a summary in the first post of the RP. And, once this gets going, if you really want to read the details in the story, I'll be posting the original IC thread so that anyone can go back and look over what's been done.

4) The number of players I'm looking for about 8 players (9 to 10 if you truly impress me with your character and/or writing - for me, more detail = better. That being said, this isn't supposed to be an RP that will find itself in the advanced section - it's supposed to be a fun thing, after all). So, the amount of "available" slots is 1 to 3 (again, potentially 4).
