Ayame crossed the Ylissean border. "I'm hungryyy!~" She said, and gave her stomach a pat, as they walked down the trail. "Maybe we should set up camp? I mean, we've been walking all day and haven't eaten yet. The town will come into view soon..." She sighed to Vincent, and picked up the pace, trotting up the hill. When she reached the top, she could see the village downhill, by a river. There were fields close by, and the town was relatively large. "So this is that town? Liss? It's kind of a plain name for such a large town." She walked down to the base of the hill, and stopped. "Ok Vince, let's get tents down!~" The man had remained silent the whole way, and only now spoke. "As you wish." He stopped the wagon, and began giving orders to the people inside. "Ok, you heard lady Ayame, hurry up and get a camp set up!" He hopped up into the back of the wagon, and began helping the others unpack. It had been a while since Ayame had bested him, and he had gotten to know her better than any other person in a long while. He wouldn't exactly call her a friend. He disliked her mannerisms, but she had earned his respect. For now, he'd follow and help her, maybe even learn a thing or two.

The camp was almost fully unpacked, and the sun was beginning to reach the far horizon, shining twilight. Ayame took a seat on one of the crates, and looked at the town and field. They'd go check the town out tomorrow, and determine whether the Leal had been through. It seemed very likely, given the info she had received in Ferox. If they weren't in Liss, then it was all for the better, they had a day to relax before heading out again. She felt bad for running the others so hard, but she felt very strongly about ridding Ylisse of this evil cult. She'd hunt them down and bring them to justice. Her little band of soldiers could leave her at any time, but they seemed to follow her willingly. She wondered why. Did they believe in her cause just as much as she did? She'd find out whenever they went into battle.

Noelle

“What to do~” A petite girl stood on her tippy-toes as she daintily continued to walk down Ylisse’s streets. It was a fine day, clear skies outlined with the sun’s golden rays. The city was yet again filled with people, the air filled with the smells of delicacies and chattering voices that contributed to the cacophony on the streets; to Noelle, it was a sign of peace and happiness.

She was dressed in blue dancer clothes, with many different hues that she had chosen when she was a little girl. However, she had made some adjustments, eventually turning towards Ferox’s myrmidon clothes. Despite having a rather ordinary yet fascinating occupation, Noelle adorned two swords that were strapped on to her lower back. Why was this brown hair blue eyed girl geared with weapons of death? Well, her family had given them to her when she had insisted on travelling by herself. They had always assumed that their youngest child wouldn’t be able to defend herself, but in actuality, they were the ones who had taught her how to fight barehanded to wielding blades.

However, she was totally regretting her decision of ‘finding her own passion’. In actuality, the nineteen year old was down-right hungry and was homesick. She had been travelling for several weeks and had just arrived in Ylisstol from Ferox. Despite the fact that her family had frequently moved, she had sorely missed her other siblings pestering, her mother’s cooking, and her father’s dancing.

She yawned, her loose ponytail slinging down her left shoulder as she brushed away a few strands of hair from her eyes. Well, Noelle would just have to do the only thing she was able to do - perform. Before long, Noelle was wandering down the streets, searching for something that could give her a bit of money.

Sapphire

"Ugh, I'm almost out!" the girl cried out in grief. Sapphire was saddened by her most recent discovery: her candy stash was depleted and on the verge of becoming non-existent! She sighed at her coin purse, too. She still had money left over but that was for non confectionery related necessities. Her remaining candy allowance would only allow her to buy half of what she usually gets- but she'd have to, sadly, settle for this unwanted reality.

Sapphire sadly gazed at her muddled reflection in the somewhat murky water than ran underneath the stone bridge. It's been awhile since she's left home and there was no luck in finding her sister. Albeit, she never ventured farther than Regna Ferox. Now she was back where she started. Maybe if she acquired some helpful hands the whole situation would go quite more smoothly. She could even make or join some random, frivolous group that'd be willing to aid her. The teal haired girl chuckled at her own words. It'd be silly to ask of that from anyone. They'd probably laugh at her face, as well (she'd laugh with them).

She was interrupted from her comical thoughts by the grumble of her empty stomach. She was so busy thinking about nonsense that she'd forgotten about how hungry she was since arriving here in the first place. Now the only thing on her mind was food. "I wonder if I can find one of my old friend's to feed me. I mean, I wanted to see them in the first place. It's not like I'm visiting them specifically for free food...?" She pushed that thought far from her mind, having full knowledge that she'd have to deal with the remorse later on.

And she was off, hopping along the vaguely familiar streets, searching for that one person who happened to have ownership to this one tavern. Glancing left to right hardly left any thought of paying any mind to whatever was in front of her. Sapphire's search came to an abrupt halt as soon as she collided with another body. Holding her head, she apologized to the other. "Ah! I'm so very sorry..." Standing up, she offered her hand out to help the other, a girl now that she has a better look, up to her own feet. "A-Are you hurt? Did you break anything? You don't see any stray candy pieces here, do you?!" she sputtered with an energetic tone, mostly concerned about the candy part (but only by a little!) as she awaited the brunette's response.

Piers limped along with the rest of the group, wincing in pain as he walked along. He was in pain, only because he had tripped earlier that day and twisted his leg. He should have gone for help, but he didn't like any single person besides Margaret, who he didn't mention his injury to. Limping along to the forefront of the camp, Piers observed the auburn sunset. It was pretty, that was for sure, did Piers care much? No. He didn't care much for anything other than his sister and the animals he carried around. As if on cue, the little baby squirrel he picked up near the beginning of the day peaked out, waking from its long nap. It burrowed against Pier's chest, accepting him as it's new father. Piers gave out a quick smile, but hid it again. Picking up his pace, he started his long walk into the town.

The young woman made her way through the streets of the city, occasionally checking over her shoulder. Ylisse had helped her lose some bandits that were chasing her for stealing from them.

Though, if they were looking for a thief, they might mistake her. The staff she carries and the clothes she wore gave a slightly different impression. To someone just glancing at her, she might get mistaken for a cleric or a trickster. Cleric would be preferable.

She was just stepping out of a side street when she witnessed a collision, and couldn't help but utter a soft giggle. The one girl was very energetic, while the other seemed quite... elegant. She smiles softly and observed the two for a moment, before a small satchel on the ground caught her eye. It had landed by her feet... She stoops down to pick it up, and examines the contents. Candy...? It must belong to the energetic girl, since she asked about it. "Excuse me, I believe you dropped this." She smiles softly and holds out the bag, ready to drop it into a yet-to-be-offered hand.

"Whoa! So I did drop some candy!" Sapphire exclaimed with awe towards the woman who's seemingly appeared out of thin air (she was too wrapped up in the brunette that she didn't notice the other's presence). "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" She then proceeded to hug the woman, so delighted by the fact that her missing sweets had been found.

While hugging, it dawned on her that the person was still a stranger that hasn't been properly introduced yet. Stiffening up, the girl backed away from the brief hug, apologizing. "I'm ever so sorry," she began slowly, "however, I must to introduce myself anyways. I'm Sapphire and I cannot thank you enough for finding my lost possession." Her sentence may or may not have made sense, but her speech became formal in less than a minute, probably due to her noble past.

Sapphire, taking her belonging in hand, swiftly returned the satchel to its original location then turned to gaze at the small group. Her stomach growled more fiercely this time, reminding her of the hunger that was slowly eating her away. She'd better find some food before she became unconscious or something of the sort. Her thoughts slowly drifted back to her friend's tavern. Wanting to leave as soon as possible, the girl inevitably thought of the two who stood before her. It'd be very courteous to invite them along, no? "D-do...do you want to come with me to this tavern...?" she sputtered out hesitantly, afraid of what they'd perceive her gesture as (hopefully not as a creepy one!).
