It's an indie-horror game that got way too much hype because the developers had a basic understanding of suspense and jump-scares. It's fun to play, but only in the same way that slender was.That, yeah.

The game would have been MUCH more suspenseful if you had to actually walk around and lock doors manually for the full night while the puppets are trying to find you.

I disagree. Ambiance is important, but there is far more to building suspenseful and truly horrifying gameplay. Jump-scares, however, have nothing to do with it.
