Nadeline was absolutely elated at the prospect of being able to borrow her father's bike. As they left the throne room, Wesley asked how three of them could fit on one bike. "Ah, of course, my apologies. Grant has his own, this key is for my father's.You shall be riding with me. They're much too fast for someone without experience to handle--you'd ride straight into a building without even noticing it." She grinned widely at Wesley. "Calling it a normal bike is obviously incorrect, it's more of a hovercraft than anything. You will see once we get going." That usual mischievous smile of hers was back with a vengeance, and she actually rubbed her hands together in anticipation. "I do hope Grant can keep up."
Savayna's words almost changed Grant's mind. Almost. After a moment he broke their embrace, though he placed his hands on her shoulders, looking at her very seriously. "After my business is taken care of, we will meet again. But seeing as how it will be only you and Emiri, I feel that I should tell you of my suspicions." He told her, trying his best not to let his own worry slip out. "I do not trust whatever soul is inside Jaakuna. Vlyn may have confirmed it to be the previous Emperor, but since the events of Giruvegan, I do not trust it. Emiri has let her love for Jaakuna cloud her judgment, which leaves you in my stead as the voice of reason."

He shook his head, pausing for a moment to look away, but after a few seconds, he released her, digging into his pockets to search for something. After finding them empty, he hesitated once more. He shook his head again, and brought out a small pocket watch. He held it in his hand for a moment, dark magic surrounding it briefly, and he took her hand. "I pray things go well on your end, but just in case, I want you to take this." He told her as he put it in her hand, closing her fingers around it. "Should you open it, the spell will be released, and I will know you are in trouble. I will make sure to go to Archades to help. The timing of everything could not have been worse." He lamented, releasing her hand.

When Nadeline said that Grant had his own motorcycle, that completely answered his questions and his slight confusion. Though, he was starting to feel worried about her mischievous smile. Every time she would smile like that, things always got a little crazy thereafter. Still, he was definitely interested in seeing exactly what this bike-hovercraft thing looked like. However, there was definitely something plaguing Wesley’s mind and he felt he should say it. “Nadeline, I must apologize. “ He said looking down and proceeding to stop. “I told Grant about your plans. I just didn’t want you to get hurt and somewhere deep inside me knew it was wrong.” He said feeling so ashamed for telling Grant.
When their embrace broke, Grant would inform Savayna that after all this business that he must take care of is done, they will meet again and he would further tell her some suspicions about the supposed soul of Simon. She had the same suspicions. Grant would say that ever since Giruvegan, he hasn’t trusted it. Savayna nodded in agreement. He would then say that since Emiri is blinded by love, Savayna would have to be the voice of reason. For some reason, she laughed at that. The fact that she had to be the voice of reason was clearly making things look so dire. “Oh what is this world coming to. The fact that I have to be the voice of reason truly means things are so damn drastic.” She laughed, but it was more of a ‘well fuck me with a stick’ laugh.

When Grant finished that bit, he would reach into his pocket, and pull out a small, very light beige pocket watch. She could see faints glow of dark magick. Grant would hold it in his hand momentarily and he took her hand and prayed that things are successful on her end. He would then state that if they don’t, all she would need to do was open the pocket watch and a spell would activate and let him know that she was in trouble and he would move heaven and earth(he didn’t really say that) to get to Archades and help her. She smiled at him and for some reason, she grinned.

“No need to worry, with me by their side, nothing could possibly go wrong.” Of course, she was lying to herself. She had no idea what was going to happen. She would place the pocket watch in her pocket and look to Grant. “So, how are you three going to catch up to her royal bitchiness? Since we’re taking the Ifrit, not like you can just track her via IRIS?” She asked him.

Nadeline fell silent at Wesley's admission of telling Grant what her plans were. That must have been why he had shown up with Wesley. She stopped along with him, unsure how to feel about it. Well, she knew she felt slightly betrayed, but it wasn't like she had asked him to keep it a secret or anything. "Word would have gotten out about it one way or another. It seemed my aunt was a step ahead of me anyway." She reminded him, starting to walk again. She was sure he would follow, though she then spotted Grant and Savayna a short ways ahead.

As Savayna asked how they would be getting around, he spotted Nadeline. She waved a card at him, and he let out a very small groan. "We will be taking the presents Lorenzo created for him and I. They're hoverbikes...of a sort. Granted, they're very fast, so getting from place to place will not be an issue. Nadeline loves the speed." He rolled his eyes, though he did place one hand on his hip. "This is where you and I go our separate ways...for now, anyway. Once Reia is back I will be rejoining you, I don't have any intention of sticking around here."

When Grant and Savayna finished up what they were talking about, they were encountered by Nadeline and Wesley, who were there to pick up Grant. However, right before they would do that, they would go say goodbye to Emiri and Jaakuna. Of course, there was some awkwardness there, but they still did it. Once that was all said and done, Wesley, Grant, and Nadeline all went on their way and so did the other three.

Jaakuna, Savayna, and Emiri all went to the Aerodome. The journey there would be a moderately short one as it would only take them about twenty minutes to do so. Once they found themselves back aboard the Ifrit, Jaakuna would order Iris to set a course for the Tchita Uplands to which the group would go through the Sochen Cave Palace, then through Old Archades, and then eventually to The Imperial City of Archades. It would be a long trip and not one that was going to be too favorable, but they had to do it.

Nadeline and Grant led Wesley to wherever the hover bikes were at. Along the way, Wesley kept on thinking how the other three would fare and just what sort of danger they might or might not be in. Regardless of that, however, Wesley had to stay focused on finding Reia and getting her back to Stigma.

Grant and Nadeline lead Wesley to the Royal Hangar, dubbed as such unofficially by Lorenzo himself. In actuality, it was more of a workshop then anything as many of the machines made and handled there were created by Lorenzo himself. They ignored all the incomplete things and headed towards the back, where several vehicles lay asleep under their tarps. At this point Grant and Nadeline split up, with Grant pausing before one of the first vehicles. He yanked the tarp off, revealing a more classic looking motorbike. He took out a card and slid it through a slot, and several lights flicked on. He let out a small sigh, though he clambered on, manually guiding it towards a wall. He put his hand on said wall, and it slowly started sliding up.

Nadeline hummed rather happily, going towards the last of the vehicles, and also the largest. She lightly pulled the tarp off, revealing her father's pride and joy. She winked at Wesley, showing off her father's hovercraft. "Father has built every single thing you see here, and this one is his baby." She told him, lightly patting the seat. "Go on, have a seat." She told him, inviting him to sit down.
To say it was odd to go back to the Ifrit would have been an understatement. It was somewhat surreal to think the group had been actually split up. Emiri wondered if it would have been better off not to say goodbye. Grant made it clear that he would join them as soon as he could, though Nadeline remained as cordial and royal as possible. In other words, she was as distant as ever, though she did look at Emiri very intently. No doubt she probably blamed her. She wouldn't be surprised. Either way their group had been dwindled down to just a trio now. For the moment, she tried to remain focused. Getting into Archades and finding Simon's body would be a difficult task, no doubt.

As they came to the unofficially named workshop, The Royal Hangar. Inside it Wesley clearly saw that there were a bunch of different machines that ranged from vehicles to other such things. It definitely seemed like that Lorenzo was really a gearhead. Wesley just chuckled lightly as Nadeline would pull a tarp over a hovercraft. When he saw it, Wesley led out a low, fading whistle at how wonderfully-crafted the hovercraft was. Truly, Lorenzo knew his way around a machine. It puts Wesley to shame. Of course, his specialty was not in building machines.

Wesley would get out of his awe of the hovercraft and he sat upon the high chair. As he did so, he looked over to Grant and he had his own, more traditional motorcycle. Still, it was a beaut to behold. It was coated with metallic green and gold, several pipes running through it, both in the front and back. Wesley just admired the wonderful bikes and other such machines that were in the Hangar/workshop. "So, does this have a seat-belt?" Wesley worryingly asked Nadeline as she would settle in on the bottom portion and WEsley couldn't help but notice her buttocks.
About tenminutes into flight, the Ifrit was just passing by the Dalmascan Wesetersand and by extension, Rabanastre. They wouldn't get to the Tchita Uplands for at least another hour, which would give them time to go over the plan. Sitting at the table, the trio was just chowing down on some assortment of deli meats(turkey, Roast Beef, Ham) and cheeses. As they were doing that, Jaakuna would swallow his mouthful of it and speak. "IRIS, can you bring up a map of Archades, please?"
"Yes, Master JAakuna!"

As Iris would bring up Archades in a hologram-type of thing, JAakuna would stand up and start pointing. "We definitely know that my father's body is somewhere in Archades. I don't know where exactly, but my best bet would be somewhere in the Draklor Labs." JAakuna said.

Savayna listened and as soon as she finished, she would provide her input. "Yeah, that sounds like a definite possibility. It's going to be heavily guarded. It's one of the most prestigious buildings of Archades. Getting into it will be tough." Savayna added.

Jaakuna listened to Savayna and she was absolutely right. Without some distractions or help(no matter how minimal), it was almost impossible to get in. Thankfully, they have an ace in the hole. "And fortunately for us, that's where Emiri comes in." Jaakuna said. "With her time-stopping ability, we should be able to get into the labs at least to a point where we can proceed in it." Jaakuna added.

Just as Jaakuna was about to continue, Iris would intervene.
"Master Jaakuna, you have an incoming call request."
"Who is it, Iris?"
"Forth Judge Magister, Isaiah Darcone."

At that point, silence took the room and widened eyes came over Savayna and Jaakuna. "Patch him through."

As JAakuna said that, the map disappeared and a visual of Ixion appeared as another hologram. "Isaiah, you better make this quick." Jaakuna said clearly annoyed.

"Jackson, we need to talk. Can you meet me in the Phon Coast Hunter's Camp?" Isaiah asked.

Jaakuna was stunned at his request. Sure, the Hunter's Camp was neutral territory for anyone, but why would Isaiah want to meet him now. And why was he doing it on Jaakuna's private channel. It just seemed weird to Jaakuna. "Fine, we'll meet you. How soon?" Jaakuna asked.

"I'm already here. Get here as soon as you can."
Isaiah said.

Jaakuna sighed. "Fine, we'll be there in twenty minutes." Jaakuna said closing out of the call. "IRIS, hyper speed to The Phon Coast Hunter's Camp." Jaakuna said.

"Yes Master Jaakuna!"

"Don't leane forward, keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times, and try not to move too much." Grant called as Nadeline started the hovercraft. She lifted it into the air, gently guiding it outside, and soon both vehicles were side by side. "Theoretically speaking, anyway."

"We will be heading to the Golmore Jungle." Nadeline announced to the pair, clearly eager to go. Grant nodded, stretching his arms before placing his hands on the handles. "Despite their isolationist nature, the viera village of Eruyt has helped the Roselia family for many generations due to a favor my ancestors did for Aloa when she was their leader. I want to believe that is where Reia is hiding. Hopefully we will not meet resistance, and if she isn't there, we can ask them to tell us where Aloa is, anyway." She grinned devishly, and within seconds, the two took off in a burst of speed. The wind rushed through and made Nadeline's curls dance in the wind, and she grinned as she pushed the vehicle to go faster. It was a sensation she had been longing to feel for some time, it was absolutely thrilling. Grant kept up, though he did raise an eyebrow at Wesley, as if telling him to relax.
Sneaking into the Draklor Laboratory would be simple, Emiri thought anyway. It was only the three of them, which would be simple enough. As Jaakuna was to explain his plan further, they were interrupted. Emiri was surprised to hear it was none other than Ixion of all people. She listened carefully to his words and his request to meet at the Phon Coast. Last she recalled, the Hunter's Camp was in Archadian territory, though it was relatively neutral, so to speak. It was not out of the way as they were headed for Archades, but why would he want to meet with Jaakuna? And why must he discuss it in person? She didn't like the fact that he was waiting there as well. Surely it could be a trap? Yet Jaakuna treated it more as an inconvenience than a threat.

"What could he possibly want?" Emiri voiced her thoughts.

Wesley was definitely a bit worried about the looks that Nadeline had on her face and the advice that Grant had given him. It just spoke unsafe speeds. Still, Wesley would heed the advice given to him and he would hold on for dear life. His hands held onto the side bars(as low as they were), and made sure his feet were firmly planted on the steel plates that his feet were touching.

Grant would explain that they would be going to the Gilmore Jungle, and more specifically the Viera Village of Eruyt. He would further say that the Viera, despite their isolation in the Wood, have helped the Rosalia family due to favors that his ancestors did for Aloa way back when she was still the leader of the tribe. Just hearing Grant say that really gave Wesley a good idea of how old Aloa really was and truly she was someone who had strength beyond his own imagination. Wesley would agree mentally with Grant as he would state that Reia is most likely there in the viera village. At least, that’s where Wesley would begin the search.

As that was said, and the workshop door raised, the three of them and two bikes tore off in blinding speed. Wesley held on for dear life. He could feel the rapidness of the wind increasing as the speed also did so, his hair flying backwards. The hovercraft that Nadeline and Wesley were on was further than Grant, but soon he caught up and he would just glance slightly at Wesley. The look that he gave him was definitely that was telling him to relax. Wesley thought that was entirely impossible at the moment, but he would acknowledge Grant nonetheless. He would just pray that the speed wouldn’t be the same for much longer.
When the image of Isaiah ended, the three of them would just wonder individually about what he wanted and Emiri would actually be the one to vocally state it. Jaakuna really didn’t know and he honestly was half-looking forward to it, and half-worried it would be a trap. He wouldn’t put it past him past it. Though, Jaakuna wanted to at least see it out. If it was a trap, then Emiri could always get them out of it, but Jaakuna didn’t want to just rely on Emiri to get them out of sticky situations. Jaakuna looked to Emiri and spoke. “I don’t know, but I guess we’ll see, be on guard just in case.” He said
At the Phon Coast, the skies are as blue as the ocean. The breeze was there as it always has been in the sunny season. The birds are chirping away, flying in the skies, and in the Hunter’s Camp, the trio found themselves just looking at the wonderful sight they saw. Of course, they were looking around for Isaiah and sure enough there he was. However, he was in a very casual outfit. He wore a black jacket with white fur-like material on it, a brown T-shirt, and olive-green pants. He would signal them to follow him and they did.

As they followed him, they stopped behind a giant rock. Jaakuna would speak. “Why have you called us here?” JAakuna said, cutting to the chase.

Isaiah sighed. “Vincent’s being overthrown.” He simply said.

“WHAT!?” JAakuna and Savayna said in unison and complete shock.

Isaiah sighed once more. “It gets better. “ He said lightly laughing. “Your grandfather got four of the judges, including himself, and planned a coup. He stated some bullshit reasons that Vincent has gotten out of control or whatever. He then revealed to us the morning later after telling us that cousin Roman will be taking Vincent’s place.” Isaiah said scratching his head.

Jaakuna couldn’t believe it. “Why Roman? I thought he was the Marquis?” Jaakuna asked.

“As of today, he isn’t. “ Isaiah said. “Word around Archades is that he’s flying to Archadia today and that is when it’s going to happen.” Isaiah revealed.

Jaakuna should be happy about this, but he wasn’t. Actually, he was beyond that. “Damn it! This ruins everything.” JAakuna said in frustration.

Isaiah raised an eyebrow. “Ruins what? Are you planning something?” He asked.

Jaakuna sighed. “Might as well.” He said. “Prepare yourself, Isaiah, you’re in for one hell of a story.”

And then Jaakuna began to tell Isaiah about everything, from the events in Giruvegan, to finding out that his father was trapped in The Great Crystal by Hamut and even to the fact that Jaakuna didn’t kill his father, but rather his uncle(Isaiah’s dad). He told him everything about how Jaakuna absorbed his father’s soul and with the help of Savayna and Emiri, plan on sneaking to the Draklor Labs to find his father’s body. Yes, Jaakuna told him every last bit.

After hearing all of that, Isaiah was in such disbelief that it wasn’t even funny. “You’re lying! You have to be..” Isaiah said completely in denial.

Jaakuna frowned. “I wish I was, but it’s true. My father is still alive in a sense. Your father was the one that I…well you know.” Jaakuna looked down.

“B-But why? Just so that Grandfather could control every little bit of it!?” He slightly shouted and asked Jaakuna.

Jaakuna didn’t know how to answer that. “I understand if you don’t believe me, but please know that I plan on making things all right. I will return my father’s soul to his body and he will make things right again.” Jaakuna said to Isaiah.

The blonde judge looked at Jaakuna.. “How could you possibly make this right for me? I was just told my father was murdered by your hands.” Isaiah was in tears right now. “How can you make that right? Huh, Jackson!” He yelled and cried. He was right. Isaiah had every right to yell at him and Jaakuna couldn’t make it right for Isaiah, but he could for everyone else and bring honor back to his father.

Savayna would stand there, clench her fist and punch Isaiah, which caused him to fall to his back, and then he looked up at Isaiah. “Get a hold of yourself! Yeah it sucks that your dad is dead, but come on Isaiah!? You had a feeling Hamut was wrong for dethroning Vincent, so don’t let this sudden news make you cloud any of your previous intentions.” She said turning around. “Either you help us and avenge your father or you stay here crying like a little baby. Either way, we will go and do what we must.” Savayna, while a bit cold, spoke the truth.

Isaiah looked to Savayna and stood up. “I will help you. “ He said standing up. “Lead the way, Jackson.” He said.

"We will be arriving in Archades momentarily, lordship."

Most royalty and nobility often took private airships. Roman just wasn't the type. He much preferred the comfort of being surrounded by his fellow people. For one reason or another, he just didn't do well with authority. Power was something nearly everyone wanted, and he would lie if he said he never desired it. And yet, as he sat in his private cabin, he thought long and hard about the day's actions. As his grandfather had requested, he was flying in to Archades from Bhujerba. So there he was, having chatted a very pleasant looking woman about her very first time visiting Archadia--she was Bhujerban, going to Archades to see her son, who was a soldier there. Despite the tensions between the nations, people were still prioritizing their family. That was good. If only he could do the same with his.
Emiri watched as Isaiah and Jaakuna spoke. Apparently, he and Jaakuna were on good terms. Then again, she did briefly recall Wesley explaining that they came in contact with him when she had been captured by Vincent. Still, she would never forget that he almost killed Jaakuna, and once their conversation ended she stepped forward. "If something in all this goes wrong, or if this is a trap, I promise that you will be the first casualty--I will take you out personally." She told him, her eyes narrowed and cold. "I haven't forgotten our last battle, and I owe you one for grabbing me like you did."

Before they would even get to the Ifrit, Emiri would pretty much tell Isaiah that if he hurts Jaakuna or if anything goes wrong, then she would personally kill him. Jaakuna watched and Savayna let out a low whistle. Isaiah just let her speak. “I believe you.” He simply said as the four of them would get to the Ifrit and they would all take a seat in the dining room, which was where everyone took their breaks and shit. When they all sat down, the plan was definitely clear. They would get into Archades, though the original plan would have to be edited just a bit. Since Isaiah was with them now, he could probably grant them passage into New Archades.

Isaiah would just speak. “You guys don’t even need to go through the Cave Palace or Old Archades. You’re going to be with me and with the way things are looking to be, you might not even need to hide.” He said.

Jaakuna slightly agreed with him, but Savayna didn’t. “Um, are you forgetting about me? I’m still wanted for being a traitor and it doesn’t look like Hamut will be forgiving me any time soon.”[b/] She said.

Isaiah sighed. “Well, Roman will be the new Emperor, so maybe he’ll show some mercy and let you come in without being arrested. Though, there’s still the problem of Vincent. I’m pretty sure he knows about the coup.”
Isaiah said.

Jaakuna raised an eyebrow. “What makes you say that?” He asked.

Isaiah sighed. “Well, I’m sure Levi told him. “ He said.

“I figured she would turn on them. She never had any loyalties.” He said. “So, perhaps we will have to go through the original plan.” Jaakuna admitted.

“Then I guess I’m a man corrected as he sits down.” Isaiah said slightly laughing.
Inside the Aerodome, Judge Francis Von Sicarius awaited for Roman to arrive. The orders given to him by Hamut was to secretly guide Roman to his office and there they could initiate the plan. Francis eagerly eyed the flight schedules and the tracking of certain airships and he eyed the one that was coming from Bhujerba. After about five minutes, the airship docked and in another minute, the passengers were starting to come through. After about ten of them came through, a white-haired man fitting the description of Roman went through. “Roman, I presume?” He said. “Please, if you will, follow me. Judge Hamut is waiting for you.” He said “gently tugging Roman to follow him.

As the trio rode through the land, the places around them whirring behind, Grant found himself half hoping they wouldn't accidentally overshoot and pass the Golmore Jungle. However, when he noticed Nadeline slowing down he did the same, and their surroundings became clear. The wildlife of Golmore Jungle surrounded them, though they kept riding on. They finally stopped when the path split, with one was going downwards and seemingly looking like a dead end. Grant and Nadeline went down the short path, though stopped their vehicles. Once the hovercraft touched the ground, both machines died down, signaling their arrival. Nadeline let out a small sigh as she hopped off, smoothing out her skirt before she walked forward.

Grant also got off his bike, though he did notice something. He signaled for Nadeline to wait and he walked forward. He stretched out his hand, touching and revealing a large glyph blocking their path. "They may as well have painted a giant sign saying 'Someone is here, please investigate at once!'" Grant stated, lightly tapping the glyph. "What now?"

Nadeline thought for a moment, though she noticed something in the distance. A green light revealed a hidden pathway, blowing around and scattering magic around. She watched as a single Viera dressed in red walked down. She spotted them, though she did not look surprised. She actually shook her head, looking somewhat disappointed. She wandered over tot hem, though she remained behind the glyph. She inspected the trio soundlessly, though she stared at Grant for a while. "Last we met, I was only six years old." He told her. "Twenty years have passed since then."

"Prince Grant of Rozarria, yet again I find you at our doorstep. You are not alone, this time." She said, rather amused. "Another sick Hume you wish to cure?"

Grant looked at Nadeline, who looked back, though confused. "This is her child, Kyua. As you can see, your help saved both their lives that day."

"That means you are Nadeline, Karolina's child. I did inform her it would be a girl." She said rather wistfully, looking at Nadeline, though she then turned her attention to Wesley. "And...a Dalmascan prince as well. Prince Wesley." She turned back to Grant. "What is it that you seek, hume child of Rozarria?"

"Aloa has come, has she not?"

"That she has."

"Alone?"

"No. She brought with her a power hungry hume Empress whose lust has caught up with her."

"We must see her at once." Nadeline interjected at this point. "We beg of you, take us to her. We will return her to Rozarria."

Kyua hesitated. "You realize that which you have said will result in your opposition to Aloa's will. She may have left the Wood, but she is still greatly respected among our people. Should things...turn a certain way, you realize you may find yourself in opposition to a village."

Nadeline stepped forward as much as she could. "Our country is in the midst of chaos. Only by returning Reia to her throne can we quell this storm. We beg of you, please take us to her. We will do our best to resolve manners peacefully."

"Says every hume that I have ever come across. You are a very naive child. War is inevitable, the question is always when will it happen, not if." Kyua warned her, though the glyph faded away, granting them access. "Nonetheless, as we do owe a favor to the Roselia family, you and your guest may pass." She said, leading the way to Eruyt Village.
Levi, huh? Emiri thought carefully about her. She remembered her and getting away, though she pondered now that she knew what Emiri was capable of, she was sure to have a counter measure. Still, knowing what your opponent will do and actually being able to counter it are two completely different things, and as such, she still had the upper hand, if only it was ever so slightly higher. Emiri lightly twirled the end of her ponytail, looking at Ixion. She didn't trust him not even for a second. She didn't trust any of them--Jaakuna's family was completely insane. Though to hear that they would be seeing the Marquis of Bhujerba was a surprise. She did not know he was related to Jaakuna. Nonetheless she remained silent. For now.
Once the airship had landed, Roman found himself on Archadian territory. How ironic, it was the first time he had returned in years, and now he was back to conquer it, technically speaking. He was approached by a rather familiar looking set or armor--a Judge, no doubt Hamut had sent for him. He nodded at the mention of his name, and willingly followed. He let himself get temporarily lost in the city. How festive the day was the last time he was here, how beautiful Savayna looked in her wedding dress, how happy Jackson--Jaakuna had looked. It was an overall better time for everyone. Still, that was in the past, and he needed to worry more about his brother than anything else. No doubt he wouldn't go down without a fight, and he had a feeling he may not be able to depend entirely on his grandfather should the situation get hairy. Of course, he remained ever the optimist anyway.

As Francis led Roman out from the Aerodome and into his private Air Limousine, they got in, and once they would get on the inside, there would be some drinks already on the table. Francis sat at the seat in front of the table.

The flying limousine would take off. Francis would lean forward and speak to Roman. “I am quite sure you’re wondering why I was the one to meet with you.” Francis said. “Well, obviously it’s cause Hamut sent me, but I actually volunteered. I wanted to meet you for myself to see what you were all about, Roman.” He stated, “I will be quite honest, I do not trust your grandfather. “ He said leaning back against the soft, leather cushion. “I have been a judge for over twenty years and I guess you can say I have a sixth sense for knowing when people are untrustworthy. I always get that feeling from Viera and your grandfather.” He said. “I don’t know what he said to pursuade you to come here, but I would watch your back.” He said advising Roman to be careful. “Your brother, Vincent, is well-aware of everything. Word is that he plans on speaking with you first before you get the chance to speak with him and trust me when I tell you this, you do not want that to happen.” He said, “which is why I will be guarding you until your meet with Hamut.” He revealed to Roman.
The journey to the Gilmore Jungle was surprisingly short. Maybe that’s because of the fact that they were going nearly seventy miles per-hour. Nevertheless, the amount of thirty minutes was all it took for the three of them to not only get through the Giza Plains, which were on Sunny Season(thank the gods), but they also made it past the Ozmone Plain easily and with little opposition from enemies. Of course, following that came the Gilmore Jungle, though there were slight worries of passing it up on accident. However, when Nadeline would stop, they would enter it and in the few minutes that followed, they came to a split path of sorts.

When they came to a stop and all got off the bikes, Grant would touch the air and a green glyph came up, blocking their passage. Grant would make a note of that and make a sarcastic comment. Though, this did present some troubles for the trio. Was this truly a deadend for them and did they need to turn back? Just as Wesley was thinking that, a Viera came into view, one wearing a rather revealing red outfit. The Viera looked at the three of them and seemed to be disappointed as she shook her head in such a manner. After that, Grant would speak about the last time that they met, it was twenty years ago when Grant was just six years-old and Wesley was most likely still in his mother’s belly.

When they talked more, the Viera would make a note of how Grant was here to cure another sick hume. Wesley raised a brow at that as to wondering what she meant. Information was revealed that Kyua saved Nadeline’s life before she was able to even know about it. Or at least, that’s the way Wesley had interpreted it. Regardless, this one was the reason why Nadeline didn’t show any signs of that illness that befell upon her mother’s side of her family. That’s when Kyua would look to Wesley and deduce his nationality, title, and even his name. “Wow, that was pretty good..” Wesley mused aloud, but he shouldn’t be surprised. Viera are a very old race and they know many things.

When Kyua would ask about why they were here, Grant would start off by asking if Aloa came by and Kyua would respond by saying yes and that she came with Reia. When Grant would request that they see them, Kyua would make a comment about how that would be completely against Aloa’s will and that by definition, it would put the trio against Aloa. The only reason that Kyua would make such a comment was because Aloa was still highly-respected among the Viera despite leaving the Wood. As a result of that, it very well may put the trio — and quite possibly the entire Roselia family — against the Viera Village. However, after some pleading and promises made by Nadeline, Kyua gave in, sort of.

When Kyua gave in and allowed them passage, she led them to the Village. Wesley just couldn’t believe what he was seeing. The path to Eruyt was so dark and the only form of light was the green pathway they walked on. Yet, as they would come to sight of the village itself, it was so woodsy. Shades of light brown and almost golden-brown was seen, and it was made of wood-like material. Truly, Wesley was in awe. Another reason why he was so in awe was because of all of the Viera he saw walking around. He never seen so many gathered in one place. “Wow, this place is such a marvel to behold.” Wesley mused aloud.

Of course Roman knew things would not go smoothly. Could you blame a guy for wanting to stay positive? "I was invited here by the lord of serpents, and so I willingly entered the viper's nest. It is much like my family to willingly backstab one another so enthusiastically...ah, when did it come to this, I wonder?" Roman asked rhetorically, letting out a small sigh, though he did take a glass of champagne. "I would not be surprised if my brother or grandfather were the ones to take my life today. I wholeheartedly expect it, and should something else happen, why only that would take me by surprise." He chuckled lightly, despite the situation clearly not being one of humor. "I place my heart here in Archades, my back is yours. I pray it does not come down to that."
"How does Kyua know me?" Nadeline asked Grant curiously as they followed said Viera down through Eruyt Village.

"You were born the same as your mother, frail, ill, and at death's door." Grant replied solemnly. "The doctors informed us that you would not live to see your first year of life. Karolina, already gravely ill, was the same. There was nothing we could do for either of them, no matter what remedies we tried. It was then that Lorenzo had the idea to come here, to seek the help of the Viera. But Father did not think it wise, as the journey was too far, and because of their isolationist tendencies, they would not be able to come to Stigma--Karolina certainly could not make the trip herself." He spoke almost nostalgically. "I was young, but I knew that Karolina and Nadeline were in trouble. Emiri's mother--Justine--knew as well. And so, with Justine leading the way, she and I came here to Eruyt. That was the first time I met Kyua, as I mentioned I was six years old."

"A surprise it was, a hume child with Roselia blood at our entrance." Kyua spoke up, though she did not look back at the group. "Begging and pleading they did for a cure, though it was not a simple solution. Our people, our way of life resides solely in the Wood. And the Wood was angry at Rozarria for marching its troops through our jungle and tainting its soil with blood." She informed them. "Yet our leader could not turn her back on the Roselia family. A Viera never forgets her debts...and so she passed her title onto the next, and abandoned Eruyt for good, she did."

"Your leader...you don't mean...?" Nadeline gasped lightly, her eyes widening. "But Mother has had her illness since she was...twenty three? Twenty four?

"Yes. Their leader at the time was Aloa.
" Grant confirmed her suspicions. "But you were born with it, and an infant stood no chance against it. She came back to Stigma with us, and thus you were cleansed of it. You will never get your mother's illness, nor will you ever pass it on. Karolina could not be fully cleansed, but she was better. At the time, Lorenzo promised that whatever Aloa needed--a home, food, shelter--he would gladly provide as he knew the sacrifice she had made. She did keep him to his promise, but she decided to see all of Ivalice before making it true. And once she came back, she did request a job."

"And she became my tutor." Nadeline finished, completely amazed. "I had no idea...why didn't anyone ever tell me?"

"So that you may never feel obligation." Another voice answered. And thus their walking came to an end. They had reached a grand hut in the heart of the village, and there sat Aloa, her legs crossed, surrounded by several Viera. One such Viera stood up as they approached, clothed in violet. Grant noticed that they were not armed, yet every pair of eyes were on them. Normally, it would probably be unsettling, yet they harbored no ill will. Not yet, anyway. "You have come far, Highness." Aloa asked as she stood. "This is Lnka. Our leader."

The violet-dressed Viera named Lnka then spoke. "Tell me, what brings you here?"

Nadeline stepped forward at this point. "We seek Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Reia. We have come to return her to her rightful place as ruler of Rozarria. Her people have willed it."

A silence enveloped the village. It was rather surprising, though Grant didn't like it. Aloa closed her eyes for a moment, though she opened them shortly afterwards. "You have come to return the Empress, as if she had a place in Rozarria." She spoke, looking at the trio. "This request, I cannot grant."

"Rozarria is in turmoil. She needs her Empress."

"Rozarria is not the only one in turmoil. Archadia weeps as his own children have gone and began to fight among themselves. Ivalice herself cringes as its own land betrays her. And the one to blame is the girl who manipuates time--as well as all of you."

Something in the air changed, and Grant silently cursed. Now it felt much more hostile then before. Nadeline was shocked to hear Aloa mention Emiri, but she did not understand. "What--What are you saying? That it is us who have put Ivalice in pain? What in the world are you speaking of, Aloa?" She asked, clearly confused.

She shook her head, actually looking somewhat regretful. This was very unlike her. "For time immemorial, the Espers have kept balance in Ivalice. They are power sources of the world's Mist, bound to the land by the gods, coming forth when summoned. The moment you began to awaken them, Ivalice trembled. Four remain untamed, four shake their cages in rage, threatening to break their bars and without masters, they will follow their own twisted wills. Yet something deeper lies beneath Ivalice, awaiting its chance." Lnka viera spoke, ignoring Reia's arrival temporarily. "The Espers are not meant for humes to obtain. Humes are much too foolish, too power hungry...and so, we will exterminate their masters and restore Ivalice."

"What?!" Nadeline exclaimed. "That's...You would go so far as homicide?! You are only of the Wood, why would you care now about the rest of Ivalice?!"

"We cannot overlook the foolishness of Humes no longer." She said, looking at Grant. "The Empress is to be used as bait, to lure in the general who has Cuchulainn. We will eliminate him...and the prince here who chains Zeromus. We will also seek out the girl who unlocks Espers."

"So the Viera would be bold enough to effectively declare war on the humes?!"

"No, no, no...that would be where I come in."

Great, another surprise. Though this one was much more flashy, as a shadow appeared beneath Nadeline. She immediately jumped back, nearly crashing into Wesley as a figure emerged from said shadow, literally. It was unlike anything they had ever seen, but the darkness wilted off and revealed a woman. Nadeline couldn't help but think of Lola, though she realized that the woman struck more than a passing resemblance to her. These assassins sure had an odd way of dressing, though. One could hardly call what she had on clothing, it was entirely riskque and left very little to the imagination. Unlike Lola, however, this woman had a very cold expression.

"You must be related to that nutjob, Lola." Nadeline stated, crossing his arms. These damned ninjas were everywhere. Literally.

"Unfortunately." The woman shook her head, though she looked at the trio. "Meli. Remember my name, as I will be your Grim Reaper." Grant cursed yet again. Of course Reia would have not only surrounded herself with Viera, she brought along some extra protection as well. "Both the prince and princess are here. Good. It makes my job easy. Once you two are out of the way, I will go on and hunt down the rest of the ones who have the Espers."

As Hamut sat in his office waiting for his Grandson to make his way to him, he sat there thinking about everything that he did up until now, from when he sealed his own son’s soul in The Great Crystal, to manipulating everyone and everything that revolved around the Throne of Archadia. Yes, Hamut was just thinking about all that he did to his family. Hamut truly regretted it, but he loves his country and he would do anything to make sure that it didn’t fall into enemy hands; or even worse, forces such as the Viera or Utena. Oh the gods, Hamut dreaded the day that he would run into that band of misfits again. He still remembered the time he had to deal with the leader and that was not a fun day for Hamut.

Still sitting, Hamut patiently waited for Roman to come into his office led by Francis; though he did find it odd that Francis wanted to volunteer for such a task. Perhaps he was just thinking too much into it. Better him than Levi. On that topic, Hamut also wondered if he made a mistake bringing in Levi on the coup. It truly didn’t make for anything good in the long run, but she was the only other judge and he couldn’t really get Robur on board. That mindless idiot obeyed Vincent right down to the very core of his soulless body.
As Francis and Roman arrived at the Emperor’s palace, the limo dropped down and they got out. As soon as they did get out, they were met by five Archadian Soldiers. Francis eyed them and he did not trust what they were about to say. Something about them being here in front of them really sent the wrong feeling down Francis’ spine and that was never a good thing. “Judge Francis, you are needed in Old Archades. There seems to be some commotion going there.” One of the soldiers said.

Francis looked at them. “Can’t you handle that? I’m to escort this man to Judge Hamut.”

The soldiers looked at him and the same one that previously spoke did so again. “This order came straight from Judge Hamut.” He said.

Francis was worried, but an order was an order. Besides, it was in public, so it wasn’t like he could flat out say no. “Fine, but be sure that this man gets to Judge Hamut.” He stated, urging that it was of the utmost importance that Roman was to be sent to Hamut. As Francis would walk to Old Archades, Roman was led by the five Archadian soldiers to only where the soldier’s knew and Roman didn’t.
When they arrived at the actual village, and after Wesley would definitely overhear Grant, Nadeline, and Kyua talk about how they saved Nadeline’s life, they would come to the sight and hearing of Aloa’s voice, which Wesley knew all too well. She was sitting down surrounded by many Viera. Then, as they came to the sight of her, another spoke and stepped forward. Aloa, who was standing by this point, introduced their leader, Lnka, whom of which would speak to them about what they were doing in Eruyt. Before Wesley could speak, Nadeline stepped forward. She would bravely state that they were in Eruyt for Reia and wished to bring her back to Rozarria. Aloa would deny the request.

As Aloa spoke more, it would be revealed that Aloa believed that it was the Humes of Ivalice who were to blame for its turmoil. She would state that Archadia’s own sons were betraying it and the same went for everywhere else in Ivalice and she would specify that the one to blame was Emiri and by assosiation, her friends. Of course Wesley was shocked by what Aloa had just said. That’s when Lnka would speak about how the Espers were the ones who kept balance to Ivalice and when they awoke, so began the so-called turmoil of Ivalice. She would further say that only four remain ready to tear open their cages without masters. Wesley couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but the next think Lnka said about something beneath Ivalice was waiting for the chance to break free. Wesley couldn’t help but wonder what exactly this thing was. She would not call it an Esper, so could it be something more powerful than that? Wesley didn’t know, but he would like to know.

When Wesley was just about to ask about this other beast, a voice was heard and based on the reactions that betook Grant and Nadeline(who nearly bumped into Wesley on accident), it was another one of those ninjas, much like Lola. When the owner of that voice showed themselves, Wesley saw that there was a lack of clothing on this one. Truly, no room left to guess such things. Oh boy, if Jaakuna were with them, the atmosphere would be much more different. Nadeline would ask if this one in front of them was related to Lola and she would shamefully prove that to be right. This woman would then state her name as Meli and call herself their grim reaper. Wesley raised an eyebrow and gripped the hilt of his Yagyu Darkblade as the words that came next about Meli was going to kill the three of them. Wesley wouldn’t have that.

Wesley smiled, “that’s if you can catch us.” Wesley said as a bright light emitted from his left hand “Holaga!” It was in that instant, rays of pure white light came down from the heavens and shot down upon the village of Eruyt. “Let’s go. This is our only chance!“ Wesley would tug Nadeline and Grant to follow him back to the Jungle. This was their only chance to get away and Wesley preferred not to waste that chance.
The time might have been short, but the group effectively made their way through the Sochen Cave Palace with little trouble. There were a few monsters here and there, but for the most part they were able to make it to Old Archades with little harm to their well-being. As they would make their way to Old Archades, sure everyone recognized Jaakuna, Emiri, Savayna, and Isaiah, but the great thing about people of Old Archades, they hate anyone who was against the Imperials, so they welcomed them without any trouble.

As they made their way through it, Jaakuna couldn’t help but feel right at home. He remembered spending a lot of time in Old Archades when it was just called Archades. All of it was just so nostalgic to him. Hell, Jaakuna even ran into an old buddy of his.

“Wait a minute, is that you Lannit?” JAakuna called out.

Turning around, the almost thirty-year-old turned around and let out a loud “HEYYYYY!!!” at Jaakuna, proceeding to knock over people as he ran to Jaakuna.

Both Lannit and Jaakuna wrestled each other on the ground, each giving one another a headlock, noogie, and just laughing like they were a bunch of kids. It took Savayna yelling at them to get them off the ground. As they did, they hugged each other only as bros could.

“Damn, Jaakie! How long has it been? Five or seven years?” Lannit said almost tearing up.

Jaakuna was doing the same as he and Lannit kept on hugging each other. “Lannit, it’s just been way too long.” Jaakuna said sniveling multiple times.

“What are you doing here? It’s not really the place you should be, you know?” Lannit said.

Jaakuna looked down, his happy mood somewhat faded away. “I’m here to…well it’s a long story.” Jaakuna said.

Lannit laughed. “I don’t really care why you’re here. The important thing is that you’re back.” Lannit said grabbing a hold of Jaakuna’s left arm and Jaakuna let out a groan of slight pain. “Oh sorry man.” Lannit said as he looked at Jaakuna’s arm. “Nice tat, man.” He said.

Jaakuna smiled. “Well you know me, I’m one for tats.” He smiled and laughed. “So, is Wendy still around?” Jaakuna asked.

Lannit laughed loudly. “Of course she is. She’s always nagging me about everything I do.” Lannit said as he and Jaakuna walked arm-in-arm and the other three followed.

Savayna leaned to Emiri. “Prepare yourself, those two will be inseparable.” Savayna said sighing. Isaiah joined her in that.

As the group continued forth, following Jaakuna and Lannit, they came to a small house to which they walked through and there were a bunch of kids running around all ranging from the ages of twelve to five, all with assortments of green hair, blonde hair, blue eyes, and teal eyes. The amount of kids were seven and they were all Lannit’s and Wendy’s. Speaking of which, when they all walked in, everyone one of them stopped and Wendy got up from her sitting position and tackle-hugged Jaakuna. “JAAKUNA! WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN YOU SON OF A BITCH!?” She yelled out.

Instantly, Jaakuna had a scared look on his face as if he were about to be killed. Though, Wendy hugged and rubbed all over him, but then got off and sat down on her ass. “I’m sorry Wendy, I’ve sorta been on the run, ya know?” He said with a slight hint of sarcasm.

Wendy laughed and began chugging a 40oz of Ale. “Yeah, I know, “ she laughed some more. She let out a burp and invited everyone to sit down. The kids were all staring at them with big eyes.
The five Archadian Soldiers led Roman through the palace. They went about seven floors and they went into a certain office where the door would open and lead Roman into it. Any Archadian-born person would know what office it was. One that was for damn sure, it wasn’t the office of Hamut. No, once one got close enough to the walls and the layout, it was the Emperor’s Office and looking out at the window was Vincent, and as soon as the doors closed he turned his head, hands behind his back and walked to Roman. “Roman, it’s nice to meet you after all these years. I almost didn’t recognize you. You cut your hair since Jackson’s wedding.” He said smiling, which was never good for anyone, especially the one on the opposite end of it.

The Viera and assassin were blinded by the light, in which time Wesley grabbed Nadeline and led her away. Grant took his lead and fled, though he was more than sure

"We cannot leave--!" Nadeline protested as Wesley tugged her arm.

"I'm afraid there is no more room for discussion now that Meli has arrived." Grant took the liberty of grabbing her other one, and the two men practically dragged her through the village. Most of the viera actually remained rather neutral, some even ignoring the outsiders. Meli, however, gave chase, brandishing her sword. She jumped and sank into the ground, specifically into her own shadow. It ran across the path, growing closer and closer to the three, until it caught up with their own shadows. Once it did, their shadows melded into a pool, and several tendrils emerged from the ground, surrounding them.

"Protectga!" Nadeline called, barriers errecting around each of the trio, and the shadow tendrils bounced off her magical shields as they ran through them. "Did you see that?!"

"No time for discussion!" Grant yelled as they entered Golmore Jungle once more. He released Nadeline and aimed his hand at the path. "Darkga!" As Nadeline and Wesley no doubt got onto the hovercraft, Grant's spell managed to break the viera made bridge. Of course, this was not permanent, and once he hopped onto his bike, they sped off. "Unbelievable." He muttered to himself, though his word was lost to the wind. He looked at Nadeline and Wesley. "Back to Stigma! We need to properly inform Lorenzo!" He shouted at them as he sped up, leading the way.
Archadians who didn't feel the need to attack Jaakuna. Now that was a first to Emiri. Lannit and Wendy were certainly...friendly, so to speak. They had a sort of endearing roughness about them, though they seemed friendly enough. Emiri was downright shocked, however, to see no less seven children of their children running around. Seven. By the gods, how did that woman manage to pop out that many and still retain her figure? As they sat down, she saw many of them staring at her, and she stared right back. Goodness, they were adorable, but those eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their heads. She offered a small wave to them.
Ah, the other head of the vicious serpent.

The moment Francis was sent away Roman knew this much would happen. Though for one reason or another, he smiled back at his brother, lightly raising an arm. "I fear that unlike you and Jackson, I do not execute the look well." He admitted in defeat, though he lowered his arm. "I hear things have not been going your way as of late. Jackson managed to slip through your fingers, I hear." He spoke as he stroked his chin lightly, a rather thoughtful look on his face. "And now here I am, little brother, and you look at me with such a false expression...I almost thought you were happy to see me for just a moment."

As they got to the pathway, it would seem that they wouldn’t be able to get away so easily. A shadow became below them and tendrils emerged from it. Though things did look a bit rough, a Protectga spell was placed around the trio from Nadeline and the tendrils bounced right off them. Then they came to the glyph which blocked them. Grant’s handy work of Darkga blew it away and in the minute that followed, the trio got on the two bikes and they sped away.

By the time they got out of the Gilmore Jungle and to the Ozmone Plain, the words of going back to Stigma came from Grant and Wesley agreed. “And let us not forget about Jaakuna, Savayna, and Emiri. They are all in danger from the ninjas.” Wesley noted. He knew things had changed and the two empires could not be warring against each other any longer. “Change is a comin’, and I think it’s high time we do something about it.” Wesley would muse loud enough for the other two to hear him.
When they were all sitting down, Jaakuna laughing it up with Wendy and Lannit. Savayna just shaking her head and Isaiah joining her in doing the same. Savayna knew these two and back in the day they all had fun, but she always seemed embarrassed by them. Jaakuna, however, did not care one bit. They were some of his best — and oldest — friends he had. Lannit looked to Jaakuna. “So, what have you been up to these past five or so years?” He asked him smiling.

Jaakuna’s laugh dwindled. “I’m sure you heard that I was wanted for murdering my father.” Jaakuna said looking down.

Lannit put on a serious face and then punched Jaakuna in the arm. “We all know that wasn’t your old man. Simon could never such a man that you would kill him for it.” Linnit said patting Jaakuna on the shoulder.

Jaakuna, widened eyes and all, smiled. “You’re right.” He cheerfully said.

“So, go on.” He said.

“Well, I’m a sky pirate, actually.” Jaakuna admitted.

Wendy and Lannit laughed. “That’s Jaakie for ya! “ He said laughing so hard he tipped over on Wendy, who threw him across the room, crashing into one of the walls.

“So, Jaakuna, is that all?” Wendy asked smiling.

“No, there’s a lot more, but too much for me to get into it right now.” He admitted. “I’ll just say I have had one hell of an adventure and I’m here to make it right.” He said. Isaiah and Savayna looked to him and they wondered just if Jaakuna blamed himself for everything, especially Savayna who looked at him in that very way.

Lannit, just getting up. “So, who’s the brunette?” He said crawling so fast that he was in her face.

“Lannit, you dumbass, stop being so damn creepy!” Wendy said tugging on his pants and pulling him back.

Jaakuna laughed and pulled Emiri close to him under his arm. “This is Emiri, my girlfriend.” He proudly said.

Wendy and Lannit looked to each other with widened eyes, jaws lowered, and in unison, shouted “WHAAAAAAAAAT!?” Then they examined Emiri so uncomfortably close that they were touching and sniffing and just seeing who could steal away Jaakuna’s heart. All the while, Jaakuna and Savayna were both getting that ‘I’m going to kill you look’. However, Jaakuna would punch the both of them and they would tumble once and be sent against the table. “YOU TWO ARE SUCH DUMBASSES!” Jaakuna shouted clearly angry. The two of them started comically cry.

As they would finish it up, they put on a serious face and Lannit spoke. “So, Savayna, how do you feel about Jaakuna here dating another woman?” He asked her grinning slightly.

“Oh shut up! I’m dating someone else, so it doesn’t bother me one bit. “ She said turning red.

And again, the two pirates would yell out “WHAT!” and then the same thing would happen to them, only Savayna would do it this time.
When Roman spoke about the hair, Vincent smiled. “Well, Jackson got his mother’s hair and you and I got father’s. Though, Jackson also got father’s rebellious spirit. “ He admitted and laughed. When Roman would speak about how Jaakuna slipped through his fingers, Vincent wanted to rage out, but he didn’t. He kept a calm center because he wanted to be rational for the time being. “Yes, he did. Our brother is quite the clever man when it comes to things like that, but of course, I don’t need to tell you that, now do I?” He chuckled mockingly, covering his mouth slightly with his right hand. As Roman would point out Vincent’s false smile, he would present that same smile to him still. “Well, imagine my surprise when I not only learn that our grandfather was planning on overthrowing me, but you, the Bastard of the Darcone name, will be my successor. How else do you expect me to act when I saw your face in the first time in six years?” He asked his older brother.

The way he was so in her face was quite the unsettling surprise. Emiri blinked back in silence, though thankfully Wendy would pull him off. She let out a very minor sigh of relief, she never realized how people could be so spirited. It was actually nice. Until Jaakuna introduced her. In which case the two were in clear violation of the word 'personal space'. The two were on her like dogs to a steak, hungry to know about her despite not saying a word. She froze, afraid if she so much as sneezed they would get closer (provided it was still possible) until Jaakuna quite literally sent them flying across the room. This must have been another Archadian thing, goodness knows she had never seen anything like this. Well, except for maybe Lorenzo.

Though she soon found out bluntness was another Archadian trait as they would ask Savayna how she felt now that Jaakuna was dating Emiri. She couldn't help but smile slightly at her response, things must be going well for her and Grant. The way she turned red was so cute and unlike her! She let out a small giggle, though bit down on her tongue to avoid being heard.
Same old Vincent. Except these days he was much more vicious. Roman admitted himself impressed that he didn't lash out at him at the mention of their other brother. "So I've heard. Of course I'd have to be dumber than Jackson to think you would take this sitting down." He rather cheerfully informed him. The two were still smiling at one another, though metaphorically speaking they may as well have been at each other's throats. Roman raised both his arms. "What will be your next move, dear brother? Will you execute me? Banish me? Have fun with me? Do be gentle, I still have to look pretty for my people on the off chance that you decide to spare me." He lightly requested.

Vincent was so amused that Roman actually thought he wanted to kill his own brother. No, he wasn't going to do that. The old Vincent might've slain his own brother right then and there, but Vincent was a slightly changed man. "Roman, my older brother, I am not going to kill you, maim you, or even hurt a single silver hair. I have other plans for you." Vincent said. "I'm going to let you take my spot as Emperor. I will gladly step down." He said. "I know the truth, you know. About how Grandfather stashed away father's soul into Giruvegan, but there's something you didn't know about it. Father was near to getting peace around Ivalice. If he was successful, not only would Archadia be totally different than it is now, but Father, along with Empress Reia and the now deceased King Jonathan Rufus Dalmasca, would have all been known as The Big Three." He revealed to Roman. "Grandfather wouldn't have any of that, cause if Father would have succeeded, the judges wouldn't be around, Archadia would be a democracy, and there wouldn't be any power games." He smiled and laughed slightly. "I plan on getting father back. " He simply said and he would stop so Roman can digest this all.
When everything had settled down and the kids stopped staring at them like they were strangers, Jaakuna finally would speak seriously. "So, the word around the town is that Roman is coming to town?" Jaakuna said. Lannit and Wendy looked down, both patting their kids. Lannit would look up. "Yeah, the rumor around town is that he's here to take Vincent's place and also Vincent knows, so it's looking to be your brother is going to die." Lannit said.

Jaakuna looked down, bit his thumb between his lips. "Yeah, I know; Isaiah told us." JAakuna said. "But I'm sure ROman can handle himself. Worse comes to worse, Hamut will protect him, even though his methods are shady at best." Jaakuna said frowning slightly.

Lannit didn't like this one bit. "So, if you're not here to stop Roman or Vincent from killing your brother, then what exactly are you here for?"
He asked raising an eyebrow.

JAakuna sighed and he looked to Isaiah, Emiri, and Savayna, just giving them a look that pretty much said that he was going to tell them. "Well, it' s like this." And so, Jaakuna told them everything that had happened with his father, about him being alive, about him being that new tattoo he has on his left arm — everything and he didn't leave out any detail. He even told them that they would be getting to the Draklor Labs by some way.

"Wow Jaakuna, you got yourself into some deep shi--"
"Darling, the children."
"Oh, sorry my dear."
"Dumbshit!"

Wendy and Lannit went back and forth, and they would kiss only to look at Jaakuna. "So, how are you going to get into the Draklor Labs? That place isn't exactly one you can just waltz all in on." He said.

Jaakuna laughed. "Don't you worry about us. We'll be just fine there."
"When do you need to be there?"
'We're going as soon as we can."
"Well shit, Jaakie! I guess all I can say is good luck."
He said starting to tear up. Jaakuna was doing the same, and they hugged in a comedic way. Savayna and Isaiah shook their heads.

Apparently Roman was the last to know about his father. Not that he was surprised, he never really even wanted to know anything about his old man anyway. Still, he knew better than to trust Vincent or Hamut. Though it did strike him as odd that the same story had been repeated to him and this time Hamut was the villain. Either way it was told, each version had their own claims of peace only for someone's lust for power get in the way. He also couldn't help but mentally laugh at the idea of Reia being at one for peace; Nadeline's words had not fallen on death ears, after all.

"You surprise me, brother." Roman openly admitted, raising an eyebrow. "Exactly how do you plan on doing that?"
The trio arrived at the castle and entered Lorenzo's workshop, though as they closed the door, they noticed Karolina walking in. Nadeline landed the hovercraft and jumped off, going to her mother. "You've returned, no, you must leave at once." Karolina stated, shaking her head.

Grant couldn't help but groan. How could something have happened in the time they were gone? "Now what?" He couldn't help but ask.

"We recieved word from the Viera." She told them. "They arrived right after you left, they must have already been on their way. They told us that they have Reia, and in exchange, they asked for Grant, Harris, and Emelia. Oh, um, Emiri, my apologies, I am still getting used to that." She shook her head. "They said something about Ivalice's balance, it honestly made no sense to us..." She looked behind her. "Lorenzo is speaking with the messenger as they have asked to search the castle, he sent me here in case you returned early...and I see Reia is not with you."

The two Esper holders and Emiri, of course. "Whether she is captive or there of her own accord, we have made enemies with the Viera, it seems." Nadeline regretfully informed her. "The others are in danger as well, besides Emiri, both Jaakuna and Savayna have Espers, too."

"Then we go to Archades." Grant stated, looking at Wesley.

Vincent wasn’t surprised that Roman was surprised by him. Given what Vincent had done in the past, this truly was an odd thing for the current emperor to do and say. Though, Roman would then ask how he planned on getting their father back. Vincent smiled and spoke to his brother. “You let me worry about that, brother. You just play your part for the people and when the time comes, I will let you know when everything is in place.” He said closing his eyes. “Now, I do believe you have a meeting with our dear grandfather. Best not to keep him waiting.” He said.
After arriving back in Stigma, they were in the workshop and met by Karolina. She informed them that they must leave due to the fact that the Viera were already there and hat they demanded Grant, Harris, and Emiri for the safe return of Reia. Silently, Wesley cursed at everything. It just wasn’t right. There was nothing going their way and now even though they had to head to Archades, he just hated every bit of this. He just didn’t understand why any of this was happening? Well, that’s not true, he did and he hated it so much.

“Yeah, it seems we’re going to need to go there.” WEsley said, “but Archades is a long way from here. How will we get there in time? I know these bikes are fast, but will they get us to Archades in time?” Wesley asked.
It was time. They needed to get going. Jaakuna didn’t want to leave his good friends, but he had to. He would exchange hugs with Wendy, Lannit, and the seven kids. Savayna and Isaiah would do the same. As soon as they did that, the group would head off, getting to the stairs. They would peak over to see who was on top of the stairs and right as they did, they saw Judge Francis. Jaakuna cursed to himself. The luck train just wasn’t rolling for them. And that’s when Francis spotted them.

Francis calmly walked down the stairs and pulled Jaakuna and the others from the view of the guards. “JAckson, what are you doing here?” He said, “Isaiah, why are you with them?” He then looked to Savyayna. “Okay, what the actual fuck is going on!? “Francis had question after question.

“Francis, been a while.” Jaakuna said laughing.

“This isn’t a laughing manner. If you were caught by anyone else, they would have slain you or took you to your brother. “ He said.

Jaakuna looked down and then back up to Francis. “I’m here to revive my father.”

For the first time, Francis had nothing to say cause he was dumbfounded. “What are you talking about?” He asked in shock and disbelief. “Your father died by your hands.”
“Actually, it was my father that Jaakuna accidentally killed. Grandfather orchestrated the entire thing.”

Francis couldn’t believe what he was hearing, never mind the fact that Hamut did it, but how exactly did he do it? “You’re going to have to give me more details.” He said.

Jaakuna didn’t know how to say it but to say it. “Father’s soul was trapped in Giruvegan by Grandfather and after talking with him, he is not in me and I’m on my way to get it back to him.” When Jaakuna said that, a sharp pain took form in his left arm and this time it reached all the way to the left side of his neck.

“Okay, that makes no sense, but what else? “ He asked.

“Father’s body is in the Draklor Labs. I think Grandfather or Vincent had it stashed away there for safe keeping.” Jaakuna said.

When Jaakuna said that, Francis was just in mortal shock. To think that something of this magnitude was happening. For some reason, Francis believed them and even stranger, he would help them. “Okay, I’m coming with you. You’re going to need my help.”
“What about my grandfather?”
“Jackson, just shut up and follow me.”

When they let Francis lead on, he used his status as a Judge to bribe the guards and anyone who dared to stop them, that included the citizens, and other such people. He would lead them to the point of the Draklor Labs, to which he would open it up for them and the rest was up to them. “I hope you succeed, Jackson and the rest of you be careful. I don’t know what will happen, but I trust you four got this.” Francis said as he departed in the aircab.

The group entered the Draklor Labs, not knowing what was to happen.
