It's the year 2010 on Planet Earth. It has been over two years since creatures knows as "Dimensional Beasts" have mysteriously started wrecking havoc on Earth. These monsters are called "Dimensional Beasts" because they appear to have the ability to transport from an unknown region of space-time, onto random places on earth.
When defeated, they seem to return to the place they came from. They cause havoc and destruction by the "Dimensional Quakes" that happen when they arrive. There are no known ways to communicate with them, nor are there any known ways to effectively eliminate them.
However, Axion Foundation Lab, a known weapon and mecha supplier, is in secret creating a new Mech that may be able to counteract the threat. Meanwhile, there are numerous other stories across Planet Earth about to unfold. Alien Invasions are imminent, as are other threats waiting in the dark.
Not only that, scientists have learned that Dimensional Beasts may be capable of displacing space-time into bringing things or people from potential parallel worlds into this one. No one knows what this may mean for Earth's Survival. But, heroes are about to rise.
And they will be ready.
Year 0079 of the Cosmic Era. Over half a century has passed since Earth began moving it's burgeoning population into gigantic orbiting Space Colonies. Above the planet hover hundreds of enormous cylinders with artificial living environments so that people can live as though they were on Earth. Nine months ago, the clusters of colonies furthest from the earth called "Side 3" declared itself the Principality of Zeon and launched a war of Independence against the Earth Alliance.
Initial fighting lasted over one month and saw both sides lose half of their respective populations. People were horrified by the indescribable atrocities that had been committed in the name of independence. Eight months have passed since the rebellion, both sides being at a stalemate. However, another conflict has arisen.
Due to the Bloody Tragedy only three months before Side 3's Rebellion, tensions between the Earth and the PLANT space colonies, quickly developed into full-fledged armed conflict. No one had doubted that the larger Earth forces would be victorious, but these early predictions were proved to be wrong. Almost eleven months have passed since the Earth's war with PLANT, and nine months since Side 3's rebellion.
Neither conflict has an end in sight.

Home to Center City, America (Heroman), The Dark Continent (TTGL & Mazinkaiser SKL), Saotome Labs(Getter Robo), and Axion Foundation Lab (Banpresto Original) notably.
Home to the Earth Alliance, it's subsidiaries, ORB, and many others.
This side was going Side 7, but has only completed a single Space Colony originally to be named "Heliopolis". The name was decided to be mixture of both. Helio 7 is a neutral Space colony owned by both ORB and the Earth Alliance. Both are secretly developing prototype Mobile Suits despite it's nature as a neutral colony that inhabits both Naturals and Coordinators.
It has a single Alliance R&D Base which is developing Mobile Suits secretly. Not only that, ORB's Morgenroete, Inc. and the Alliance are co-producing Mobile Suits with their top secret "G-Project". The two projects are also competing for the fastest completion rate.
Originally a cluster of Alliance Colonies, many years ago it declared itself independent from the Federation and the Republic of Zeon was formed. As of C.E. 0079, the Principality of Zeon was announced and the Alliance and Zeon went to war at the peak of tension.
PLANT is both the name of a type of Space Colony, AND the independent Nation eventually formed. The PLANT homeland is near Lagrange 5 and the clusters known as Side 1 and 4. PLANT has 12 "cities", each named after a month of the Roman calendar. The PLANT military is named ZAFT, which is also at war with the Alliance.

Robot: Strike Gundam
Robot Weapons/Armanents/Abilities/Other Features:
"Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel Anti Air CIWS
Mounted in the Strike's head are two "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS guns. These light projectile weapons are used to intercept missiles and to destroy lightly armored vehicles, although it is classified as Anti Air.
"Armor Schneider" Combat Knife
Stored in the Strike's hips are a pair of folding "Armor Schneider" combat knives. These knives do not need power from the suit, can be thrown, and their blades vibrate at high speed allowing them to pierce through most armor except PS armor.
57mm High-energy Beam Rifle
An optional armament, the beam rifle can be stored on the side skirt. This is the primary ranged combat weapon and can easily destroy a ZGMF-1017 GINN with one shot, but is mostly ineffective against suits with anti-beam coating. It has an additional handle that can shift to the side, and is often used for extra stability when the Strike is firing its rifle rapidly.
Phase Shift armor
As with all of the G Project mobile suits, the GAT-X105 Strike is equipped with phase shift armor. When activated the Strike's color is changed from a light grey to a white scheme with a bit of blue and red mixed in. Phase Shift armor, when activated, renders the Strike immune to physical attacks such as bullets, the GINN sword, or against missiles. However Phase Shift armor continually drains the battery of energy, shortening the mobile suit's combat endurance, and uses up additional energy when it is hit.
