Other than that, all this hullabaloo about the 6 and 6 Plus is dumb. All the same features except now it doesn't fit in your pocket.

As a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy S5 that also doesn't fit in my pocket, all I have to say is fuck the iPhone 6 Plus for giving the Apple nerd a phone that's almost the size of mine so that they can start feeling smug about things again.

If it doesn't fit in your pocket why bother having it? Seems inconvenient. If I wanted something bigger for viewing purposes I'd rather have an iPad or other tablet. But a phone's a phone and if it doesn't fit in my pocket then screw it what's the point.

Honestly, I got the S5 because it was what was on sale when you renewed with Verizon a few months ago and because the camera is amazing. It does fit into your pocket, with a bit of overhang, and it's a nice fit for a face (albeit a little awkward to hold if you have oddly tiny child hands... or my hands, which are a little more the norm but still come up a wee bit short).I am personally the type that doesn't want a phone, MP3 player, and tablet, so instead of compromising and getting an iPhone which would solve the first two problems, I got a Galaxy that more or less takes care of the phone/tablet thing (because the last thing I want is to have an actual tablet).

I think they're a good compromise for some people. I also love the screen on my S5 and I've accidentally put it through some shit and it's been a real trooper.

If I want a bigger screen I just use my laptop. I don't like not being able to fully work my phone with one hand (need to be able to eat, open doors, high-five passersby, etc.) and even though I have long fingers it's still a stretch. Though I've never had an iPhone before, I'm used to holding my iPod which is significantly shorter and thinner. Guess I'll get used to it, the slightly bigger and taller screen is kinda nice, I may watch things on it more often.

Honestly though, the best thing about having a real phone is the personalized ring and text tones. I get the greatest looks when I get a text and it sounds off with an R2-D2 screech.

My friends and I were making fun of the 6 Plus and one of 'em suggested Apple start a new line of clothing.

Apple pants: finally has pockets big enough for you phone, includes a docking station and back-pocket-speakers.

Cell phones used to be giant back in the old days.

They gradually decreased in size to FIT into your pocket.

Now they are getting bigger again.
