And I'll get working on an idea for a character, although it's closer to "narrow down what I want to play" - my head is buzzing with ideas at the moment, especially thinking about playing out ideas that don't translate well into the game because of, well, it being a computer game.

That sounds like a decent idea. We could potentially do something regarding the Human/Charr conflict. i.e. Racial emissaries or representatives of each of the three main organisations; The Vigil, The Durmand Priory & The Order of Whispers.

Maybe something to do with a Dredge or Skritt uprising. Or even something to do with the Tengu. I'm pretty well versed in their history since they are my favorite GW race...even if they are unplayable. :D

I definitely think we should play more than one character. That way I can play as my Norn Warrior and Human Mesmer. :P

There's a lot of stuff to choose from. Considering that Zmerr quite reasonably asked about the idea of a co-GM earlier on in the thread, it could be nice for each player to share some of the burden of GMing and run a little thing for each of the other players, especially if our characters are representatives from the Vigil / Priory / Order, or racial representatives. With Kalas's encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Tengu, Kalas runs an episode where the other characters are sent off to do something with them. I'd love to run a little something or other about Skritt. I'm not sure what kind of crazy, evil schemes Zmerr has planned, but I'm looking forward to seeing them unfold.

So, taking it turns, we get to share the burden of GMing a little, we'd build up our own little lore version of the world based on the shenanigans we get up to, and it'd feel like our characters have got some accomplishments under their respective belts before taking on the Big Bad Dragon-y Things. It's just a suggestion, of course, but I think it might be a nice way to get things moving!

I'm in Sea of Sorrows. I jumped like four levels yesterday, which is a lot for me. I have a friend that's level eighty and they help me run WvW, PvP, and soon we'll be doing dungeons too. So I've been leveling up much quicker lately.

Ahhh Sea of Sorrows....I remember when SoR used to face you all the time in WvW. We had some decent battles on our way to Tier 1 haha!
That's great to hear, I had to level my Mesmer on my own. It's by far the most boring thing ever :D And I can run the Ascalonian Catacombs with you if you want? I don't mind guesting over.

Awesomesauce. I've been trying to complete some of the map. Though, there doesn't seem to be much (if any) Ascalonian activity in the Asura homeland. So exploring outside of my territory (which I have also been trying to do) will likely do me a lot of good. I supposedly completed the Ascalonian territory in Ashford. I must have done that with my Charr. I rarely play him anymore, but he's my second highest level and considerably behind my Asura.

And no, that emissary group is actually a group of Angchu descendants, being escorted by a few Caromi and Avicara soldiers. The Angchu are also an ancient tribe of the Tengu, being the oldest tribe of all five Tengu Tribes, and fought alongside the Sensali during the Tengu Wars against the Canthan Empire. Although peace was eventually agreed upon between the Angchu and the Canthans, which also lead to the Sensali's hatred of the Angchu spawning a fierce and violent rivalry, they still possess a notable distrust of all humankind. Despite this, they are headed to Lion's Arch to explain the secession of the Sensali Tribe from the unified Tengu nation due to Riku Hookbeak's failed attempt at seizing overall power of the Dominion of Winds.

There is a fifth Tengu Tribe. They are known as the Quetzal and are the oldest of the three Tyrian Tribes.
