Haha, it was! I was talking about the wealth class 'wretched', there isn't anyone that low.

Perhaps an escaped slave? would any character here take pity on an escaped slave?

an escaped slave would technically belong to the wretched category. Unless he stole money from his former master before escaping...

There are multiple at auction. I guess I could be -a- slave for a noble house but it depends on how said slave is treated...anything too cruel/sexual is -a very solid- no for me to RP as.

Plus, slave character development is limited. So I guess the first thing to ask is, who would take on a female slave (probably not good-looking or particularly young) and what would they do to her?

2) Farmers are always looking for more hands in the kitchen, or even in the fields

Also Slave characters always start off with a history that could very well catch up to them. Who is to say their master won't try and recapture them? There is always that plot string to pull on

That would be -very- awkward if one planned to make a character that looked a little something like...

Admittedly, though, the idea of getting accepted into a noble house/upper class would be somewhat more interesting than farmwork (Love you, farmers, but more character development can be done with the rich and wealthy when you're working for them!) as we could see a physical transformation from ugly to somewhat decent (depending on how she's treated)

Still, I'm working on -very loose- guidelines. I don't know which way this could go!

Because nobody remains beautiful forever! I was thinking, too, of some sort of middle-aged woman who looks like a human by all means but actually has wings, capable of flight...but that might fall into the 'angel' category. I mean, no magic, no weapons, no armour, just -wings-. Would that be a no?
